Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | L'Ordre De L'Infiniment Nada | L'Ordre de l'Infiniment Nada | Founded in 2015 in Montreal, L’Ordre de l’Infiniment Nada (Nada) is dedicated to creating spontaneous, contemplative and psychedelic music based on profound listening and group improvisation. Using mainly synthesizers to create constantly evolving sound, each Nada performance fluctuates between drone and pure waves evoking altered states of consciousness, daydreaming, sonic meditation and cosmic kitsch. The members of this ever-changing collective prefer to stay anonymous and meet at non-fixed intervals of time, indetermination being at the heart of their approach. |

Search | Add | 2 | Den Bacchanaliska Kören I Par Bricole | Sweden's and the Nordic countries' oldest still active men's choir with about 60 singing members. DBK was founded in 1829 in connection with the unveiling of the Bellman bust at Djurgården on July 26, when the first appearance took place. Since then, the choir at the bust appears this day as part of a ceremony arranged by the Society Par Bricole, which Bellman himself was involved in founding in 1779. The choir also has many other engagements within and outside the Society, concerts and choir trips as well as private events. The choir's repertoire has traditionally placed its emphasis on Nordic choral poetry, not least C. M. Bellman's music, which is partly composed with a society in mind. Other pieces specially written for the Society are also performed every year. At external performances, there is both sacred and profane music with emphasis on the 19th century and early 20th century, but both modern and early music have occurred. The choir has standing performances at the Society's gatherings in Stockholm; in Jacobs Church, in the Bellman House, on Hasselbacken and at the Grand Hotel. In addition to private singing for various companies and organizations, the choir has had its own external concerts, including in Gustaf Vasa Church, the Concert Hall and the Berwald Hall. Concert tours are carried out at regular intervals and previous destinations include Malta, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, France, the USA and Japan.

Search | Add | 2 | Selon Recliner | Selon Recliner formed in 2004 to create music that leant towards the cinematic & evocative. A band packed with song writing & visual arts talent, it was a cocktail waiting to be mixed, a lounge suite of crushed velvet sound waiting to be slept on. Demos piled up on the sideboard, and the songs were trialed in live shows with great flourish. Steady recording took the band underground during the winter of 2005; they emerged again with the release of their debut album 'Rest Room' in April 2006. It was received enthusiastically with the album being dubbed “Moody, Dark Pop” by reviewers. It collected a couple of international awards, a handful of nominations, charted on a swag of College Radio stations in North America, and picked up licensing deals to MTV, USA along with several other American Production Networks. The sofa had been slept on and the 'Rest Room' had exhausted its occupancy… it was time to create another space. Search | Add | 2 | Broken Notes | The Beginning Before this project was given it's name (Broken Notes) it started out with just two people without a band name, Jason Gervais and Sam Dean, back in 2002. Their goal was to create a fan album inspired by Akira Yamaoka's music for, at the time, Silent Hill 1 and Silent Hill 2. This album later became known as the Silent Hill Fan Soundtrack and received a limited release on a handful of gaming forums. After it's release it inspired the both of them to create a follow-up album. Broken Notes During production of the second album they came into contact with John Anthony Mathewson whom was creating a fan album of his own (which would have been titled Broken Notes) and came to a mutual agreement to combine their two projects together and call the album Broken Notes. At the beginning of November 2003, the album was placed for download on a mini-website featuring music by John, Jason, and Sam. This particular album received a great amount of attention from the community and was widely praised. It encouraged the three of them to put together a third album which took over a year to finish. An official website was also put together for the band to keep fans updated on all the latest news.

Search | Add | 2 | Mel Golding | Melanie Padron Golding | Singer-songwriter born in Loughborough UK to British and Spanish parents. Mel's roots are firmly entrenched in the two cultures. A mix of her youth was spent in England and the Canary Island, Tenerife. Tenerife was the springboard for her music career as she became one of the youngest public performers' during the mid-'80s on the island. Mel was discovered by acclaimed record producer and multi-platinum award winner Mike Myers who became her music mentor for the next decade. Mel captured the hearts of record producers Phil Ramone and Mike Appel in the USA furthering her professional development in the music industry. In 2003, she joined forces with Aswad's lead singer Brinsley Forde who took management and introduced Mel to songwriter-producer Tony Delaney where the album 'Miracle' was born. Years later, Mel joined a London-based rock band 'RIME' and worked with songwriter-producer George de Angelis who wrote and produced their single 'Go Forth And Multiply'. Mel has a twist to her story and is gaining interest globally from her podcast show 'Facing Mel's Music'. In this show, she interviews new and upcoming artists worldwide to explore their experiences in the music industry. Mel has written a book that reflects her emotional journey throughout the industry, she felt it important to highlight the harsh realities when trying to succeed in music along with the love for music and the need to look after mental health and spirituality. Mel finds writing very therapeutic and feels it is one of the most effective ways of expressing inner content. Many of her songs reflect this with honesty and tend to have a twist in their lyrical content. When Mel writes, she delves very deeply into the meaning and enjoys the process of producing several angles to the material. |
