Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Drum programming was utilized due to lack of any reliable drummers. Pirated software was used in the recording process. To roughly fit this into a sub-genre, it would be a hybrid of aggressive Punk/Drum Machine Goregrind. Festercyst was laid to rest after the formation of Black Pathology in 2006. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Pallett | Pallett | Pallett Band was established in 2009. Until that time, the founding members accompanied each other in various projects separately. First, [a=Omid Nemati] (vocal) joined [a=Dâriush Âzar] (double bass) and Hessam Mohammadianpour (percussion), and then, [a=Rouzbeh Esfandârmaz] (clarinet) and [a=Mahyar Tahmasebi] (cello), who had accompaniment experience for years, joined them to form a band called [a=Pallett]. This long friendship and various accompaniments led to a charity project in 2009 in Mahak Charity Institution along with [a=Kaveh Sâlehi] (guitar). The band performed exclusively in favor of the cancerous patients. Because of Mahak concert, [a=Pallett] composed and performed several pieces in such a short time. Following that project, [a=Pallett] decided to seriously compose pieces and publish an album. In July 2012, [a=Pallett] held its first concert in a small hall at Mohsen Gallery and it received great attention. This helped the band perform two weeks later in cooperation with Dutch drummer and composer Robbert van Holzen. The band performed pieces from the previous performances along with the new ones composed by Robbert himself. In September 2012, concurrent with composing and recording the first album, [a=Pallett] undertook composing music for the theater “The Unfinished Story of a Suspended Season” by Hooman Seyedi. The piece they wrote brought about more acquaintance of the Band in the Iranian art community. Then in November 2012, the band performed its first official concert in Azadi Tower. They rose to fame as avant‐garde and innovative music band even before release of the first album. This brought them a project for the soundtrack of director Shahram Makri’s “Fish and Cat” that won many national and international awards. It was on January 30th, 2013 when [a=Pallett] released its first album entitled “Mr. Violet”. This album broke CD sales records in Iran. The success of this album was so huge that in August 2013 [a=Pallett] had 12 performances at Azadi Tower, the tickets were sold out within hours. A few weeks later, the group began its tour throughout Iran. Following successful performances in the cities of Zanjan, Gorgan, Shiraz and Sanandaj, the group headed for Europe for live performances and concerts in Cologne, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Gutenberg, and Stockholm, where they played pieces from Mr. Violet album. [a=Pallett] also took part in a music festival in Cologne entitled “New Sounds from Iran”. Returning home from its European tour, [a=Pallett] appeared in the advertising teaser of School of Mice directed by Marziyeh Boroumand, and shared the unprecedented success of this film. In another success, the band appeared in IRIB Channel 7 and in an open objection to censorship of musical instruments in their previous TV performance, they offered pantomime presentation of one of their pieces. This had extensive reflections inside and outside the country. [a=Pallett] headed for 2014 Brazil World Cup in July of the same year to make a documentary and perform live concerts. During this long trip and in addition to making the documentary, [a=Pallett] had live concerts in the cities of Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, and Salvador. After their return from Brazil, the group traveled to Germany once again for a concert in Heimspiel Knyphauson Festival in Mainz, in the vicinity of Frankfurt. The band cooperated with German singer and composer [a=Gisbert Zu Knyphausen]. The group returned home in August 2014 and performed Mr. Violet pieces in Masoudiyeh Mansion for 1700 music lovers attending House of Music Festival. The festival also hosted many other renowned music idols. [a=Pallett] then headed for Bandar Abbas and Rasht for live concerts, where they received warm welcome. In October 2014, [a=Pallett] was introduced as the permanent ambassador for UN World Food Program (WFP) in Iran. The latest news on [a=Pallett] was participation in “Good News From Iran” festival in Munich, Germany, where they cooperated with TARAB Band. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Distant Flows | Distant Flow’s journey into music began at the age of 7 in Le Muy, South of France where he would struggle with the confines and lack of creativity that regimented piano lessons offer; instead of listening to his tutor he would dance about and disobey. As a teenager he played guitar in metal bands; a good precursor to the dark heavy beats and melancholic electronic style we hear today. The age of 18 was a turning point for Distant Flows; whilst at college he discovered he could make music on his own, with complete creative freedom with only his laptop and whilst simultaneously discovering bands like Pendulum, who were blurring the lines between Heavy Metal and Drum and Bass, he investigated further falling deeper down the rabbit hole discovering the energy-fuelled worlds of Drum and Bass, Neurofunk, Dub and Dub-step. Distant Flows was blown away, hooked and eager to start producing his own music, originally using soft-synths, drawing inspiration from the likes of Burial and Exission. These days Distant Flows prefers producing with hard-synths, he’s no ‘synth snob’ and has no problem with soft-synths, describing hard-synths as something of a luxury, but enjoys playing and experimenting with something that is tangible. He finds the limitations of hard-sytnhs keeps him focused; finding it harder to end up with something that sounds overproduced “You see amazing people just playing guitar in the street, so it’s not all about the equipment”. Distant Flows finds making music cathartic, it’s his release and finds it to be partially self-defining. Over the past couple of years has found himself to be at ease with the process, describing making music being similar to speaking a second language, “you have to get the grammar in place first, otherwise it’s super simple and functional”. In 2017 Distant Flows set his sights on Bristol, he wanted to move due to the rich music history in the city, “In the South of France, I knew no one making electronic music, and that is the real difference with Bristol.” Distant Flows describes his music as moody, melancholic without being too dark, almost like an enjoyable sadness. He has many influences, but is particularly interested in the careers of Paul Kalkbrenner, Lorn and Jon Hopkins. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | andremustdie | Andre Rodriguez | A year ago, Andre Rodriguez, made a decision that changed the course of his life. He was doing the classic thing of writing music in his bedroom. andremustdie was born in a ten-by-ten room in Los Angeles, CA. In that space he writes, records, and produces all his songs. Growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, Andre couldn’t have felt further from the epicenter of music. Growing up so far away from the USA and in a country with no strong music industry presence, neither his family nor close friends had ties to the recording industry; in fact, many of them were skeptical initially about his newfound pursuit. Just releasing music and putting it out there felt like a huge accomplishment to Andre. Having a reason and a goal to wake up in the morning, is central to andremustdie’s vision and happiness. AMD thinks that the music he writes is more than melodic phrases on a beat, it’s an open book of personal experiences and thoughts for everyone to listen and hopefully to relate to. |
