Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 11 | Mind Mine | Mind Mine is an explosive post-hardcore trio from the Greater Houston Area. Formed in 2022, the band combines hardcore punk intensity with soaring melodic dynamics, creating an aggressive yet accessible sound inspired by influential acts like Black Flag, Coalesce, Botch, Godflesh, Sepultura and Converge. The band, which is comprised of Jeff Perales (vocals/guitar), Josh Bodenhamer (bass) and David Klotz (drums), has unleashed nearly 20 releases in under two years. With a relentless output and ferocious live shows, Mind Mine is rapidly making a name for themselves by redefining hardcore, punk, and metal with their own brand of controlled chaos and the mantra "I am not defined by how you feel." This is an unapologetic band determined to dominate on their own terms. #mindminetx #doitforchicorecords | |

| Search | Add | 11 | WastedSky | Состав: [a=Владимир Рысин] (2006-2023) [a=Иван Гришкин] (с 2006) [a=Валерий (Лерыч) Руденок] (с 2006) [a=Григорий Минаков] (с 2006) [a=Алексей Курячев] (с 2015) [a=Юрий Белков] (с 2016) Группа WastedSky начала формироваться весной 2006 года в городе Павловский Посад (Московская область). | |

His real name was Munshi Muhammad Kasem. But in the world of entertainment he assumed the name K Mallik, just to hide his real identity in the interest of business. In 1902, he moved to Kolkata in search of livelihood and was employed in a shop owned by a Marwari. Later he moved to Kanpur, where he worked for Raleigh Brothers, which traded in hides. Nothing is known about K Mallik's early schooling in music, but while at Kanpur he studied music under Abdul Hai Hakim. He also learnt baiji (courtesan) songs at Kanpur. Back in Kolkata, he started performing in small functions, and gradually gained popularity. He had a melodious voice and recorded shyamasangit for Becker Records. It was at this time that he assumed the name 'K Mallik', because it was feared that a record of Hindu devotional songs sung by a Muslim would not attract consumers. Later, he recorded Hindi songs under the name 'Pandit Shankar Mishra' and Islamic songs under his original name. After he became popular, His Master's Voice recorded many of his songs. In addition to Syamasangit, Mallik also sang songs by rabindranath tagore, kazi nazrul islam, rajanikanta sen and atulprasad sen. His singing of Amar matha nata kare dao he (Make me bow at thy feet) by Rabindranath, Bandhu eman badale tumi kothay (O my friend, where are you now when the rain is falling?) by Atulprasad and Baghichay bulbuli tui phulshakhate disne aji dol (O bulbul, do not shake the blossom-laden branch) by Nazrul stirred the emotion of audiences. His other famous recordings include Aj elo khushir Eid (Joyous Eid has arrived), Anandini Uma ajo amar anandini Uma (O my joyful Uma, the wife of Shiva), Amar Uma, kai Giriraj (O my Uma, where is the Mountain-King?), Amar nayane nayan rakhi (With your eyes on mine), Asichhen habibe Khoda, moder nabi kamliwala (Here comes the darling of God, our Prophet Muhammad) etc. The last song was a duet with abbasuddin ahmed. K Mallik performed a variety of songs from 1909 to 1940. He became so popular that each of his records sold more than 30 to 40 thousand copies. However, despite his fabulous earnings, his final days were passed in Kusum, his native village, in stringent financial circumstances. During his residence in the village, K Mallik passed his time teaching songs to farmers. He died here in 1959. [Wakil Ahmed] Ref. https://en.banglapedia.org/index.php/Mallik,_K |

He spent all his childhood and adolescence in Ranchuelo (Cuba) before he moves to France in 1991. In 1977 he began his study of the guitar. A year later, he took his first steps at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Havana. Thereafter he continued to discover and perfect this instrument in parallel with the electric bass, which became his main instrument from 1983, the year he acquired the status of music professional. In 1990 he recorded with [a=Omar Sosa] and [a=Xiomara Laugart] in the album "Fe" (which included the song "Qué Manera De Quererte"), [a=Emiliano Salvador] (notable Cuban pianist affirmed in considerable jazz festivals in America and Europe), [a=Arturo Sandoval] (worldwide famous trumpet player), Afrocuba (a formation made up of eight musicians accompanying Silvio Rodríguez, popular international poet of committed song), as well as many others. In France since 1991, starting by winning the Django Reinart competition with the group "Electrogene" that same year, he has worked with recognized groups and artists such as the Cuban pianist [a=Alfredo Rodriguez]. He notably played in national and international tours with [a=Cheb Mami] in 1996 and with [a=Dany Brillant] in 1997. In 1998, he participated as bassist and backing vocalist for the song "Désillusionniste" from the album "L'Un Pour L'Autre" by [a=Maurane]. He was also a member of the Latin dance trio "Cubaïla" (which released one of the 1998 summer hits "La Charanga"), a group for which he also composed two tracks. In this capacity, he participated in the composition of a song for TF1 Jeunesse: "Le Groove de Lola" from the album "L'Albom Waka", and he produced film music for the 2003 feature film "Más Vampiros En La Habana". He has also worked in collaborations (with rapper [a=Mangu], Tony Parker, Matt Houston, among others) in the movements of hip-hop, rap, urban music, salsa, R&B... and many more other compositions that he produces in his studio in Aubervilliers on measure. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Marco Latrach | Marco was born in Santiago de Chile. With the age of 13 he started to play music. His work was always appreciated by the audience because of his simply and innate fascination for the sound. PLAYING British music, Funk and Rock’n Roll of the 70ies in 2006 he decides to keep these vinyl's in store to dive into the music of the future. In 2008 he made a significant creative change in the way that he started to produce his own music. He published his first EP‘s with the Chilean labels DNW Records, Agua & Sed and Real Music de Italia. In 2010 he made the first big step in his career as a music producer by signing an agreement with the Spanish label Formula Recs of Factomania. The record called «Chile» was released on 13th December 2010 and became a top seller. For this record he received a lot of support and gained recognition of several artists like Paco Osuna, Brothers Vibes, Marco Nastic, Paul Oakenfold and many others. His productions are strongly based in Techno and House, but were often influenced by elements of Rock’n Roll, Funk and Jazz. He also worked with experimental and organic sounds. In any case the groove of his creations stimulates an atmosphere of happiness and peace on the floor. Thanks to his excellent technique in playing music and his capacity of interacting with the audience, he generates exceptional moments on the floor. Listening his music invites you on a magical voyage full of intimacy, love and enthusiasm. Currently, he keeps himself busy with his own music productions and he works as a DJ for the best Chilean clubs, such as Club la Feria and Club the Sol, in May 2012 moved to Berlin Germany. In May 2012 he won the DJ & producer contest "Patagonica" (organized by “Parties 4 Peace") and traveled to Tokio for a 10-day-tour in June 2012. In August 2012 was invited to perform at the party of the friends of Luciano at Ushuaia Ibiza, sharing a cabin with his friend Alfonso León. Today he plays in Chile on the best Underground Curcuit for the chilean music lovers. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Rama Polderman | Rama Polderman (Born March 27th 1924 Magelang, Indonesia - died April 18th 2004 The Hague, The Netherlands), was a doctor, yoga teacher and magician. He was one of the first to bring yoga to The Netherlands from Asia. Polderman started the "Stichting Yoga Nederland" (Dutch Yoga Foundation) in 1957, nowadays better known as "Stichting Yoga en Vedanta". Polderman was the son of a Dutch engineer in the city of Magelang in the province of Mid-Java in Indonesia; his mother died during the delivery. Polderman is named after the king and Hindu god Rama. Polderman's father was practised theosophy. Polderman also claimed to have been a clairvoyant since his childhood. In 1942 he started his studies in medicine on Batavia, but after the Japanese invasion that same year, he and his father were thrown in an internment camp. There he was able to further study medicine through the lessons of other interned professors in medicine and through the practices in the camp hospital. Another prisoner taught him magic and he got in touch with the Vedanta philosophy. After the liberation of Indonesia he left for The Netherlands and during this trip he stayed in Sri Lanka for three months, where a guru told him to spread the Vedanta philosophy and yoga. In The Netherlands he finalized his education in medicine and he started his practice in Bilthoven, The Netherlands in 1952. He also started working for a homoeopathic hospital in Utrecht. With his second wife, the actress and director Kitty Knappert, he started the "Centrum voor Gezondheid en Bezinning" (Center for Health and Reflection) in Baarn, The Netherlands, focusing on oriental medicine and techniques like astrology and tarot. Polderman wrote several books about Hatha yoga, 'do it yourself' books, with an extensive description of the exercises (asanas) and he also produced albums about the subject. As a magician, Polderman won a prize during the Barcelona IX World Championships of FISM in 1964. | |

Born to Chinese parents in Hainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan; her father, a barber, served as president of the Overseas Chinese Association. To escape suspicion that her father was a Chinese spy, the family moved back to Shanghai in 1941. In 1943, Hu Meifang entered a Japanese-run art school in Beijing, "Beijing Art" [北京藝文], to study vocal performance. On the side, she sang in night clubs and made a few recordings without scoring an actual hit. After the war, the Chinese government prosecuted her as an alleged Japanese spy, but she was acquitted. She did return to Japan, though, and acquired Japanese citizenship. In 1952, she experienced her big musical breakthrough. She became the only Chinese super-star in Japan, making numerous records and starring in several movies. In 1974, she converted to Christianity and began singing gospel music in churches and elsewhere in Japan. She died in 2009 in Sumida, Tokyo. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Rita Saenz | Rita Sáenz | Born in Perú. Rita Sàenz, as one of the pioneer girls who sang a new wave in Lima. Chela Rosellò had done it before in 1959, when he recorded the Spanish version of the theme imposed by Doris Day "Que que serà serà". I remember it very well, because it was the first record of 45rpm, which I bought by collecting my tips. It was a recording made by Chela accompanied by the Manolo Avalos Orchestra. Returning to Rita, as you mention was crooner in several orchestras, one of his first singles for Sono Radio was the track "Los Pants". However his career takes on international dimensions, when he secures Gustavo Hit Moreno making the second voice, in the theme that the Puerto Rican Bobby Capò signed "Llorando me dormi". It turns out that Bobby Capò traveled to Argentina, to find a singer who would make him the second voice for his creation "Llorando me dormi", and correctly chose Violeta Rivas, an extraordinary balladist from the early 60's. As both were artists of the Rca Victor label, there was no problem, and they recorded this cheerful rock ballad in May of 1960, they were accompanied by the Argentine quartet denominated Los 4 of Luxury. The album was a great success in all Latin America, for the quality of its famous interpreters. Seeing such success, the teacher Enrique Lynch suggests to Gustavo and Rita, so that they join their voices and make a cover of that song that was imposed everywhere. So they did, the 45rpm single came out at the beginning of 1961, and it tasted so much that it competed seriously with the original version, and here in Lima, the album was sold as hot bread, since from those moments entered the fame through The radio, the discs, and the television. Rita must still keep that fine voice that made her so popular in those golden years 60 ' |

| Search | Add | 11 | Draumr | Gabriel Cheurfa | Meaning 'dream' in ancient Norse, Draumr stands out as the solo project of the french musician, producer and director Gabriel Cheurfa. Through spell-binding visuals reminiscent of the surrealism of David Lynch, Michel Gondry, Salvador Dalí or Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and a very distinct sound blending dream pop, downtempo, glo-fi and chillwave, the multifaceted artist draws on memories, real or distorted, to build a bridge over emptiness - a junction of dreams and trailing echoes of the past. After the array of pastels and colors of his first two unclassifiable EPs Nefelibata (2015), and Ethereal Mildness (2018) (mixed by the legendary French Touch producer Stéphane 'Alf' Briat), Draumr releases his debut album Drawn-Out Daydream (2020), taking us on an unusual yet intimate and authentic journey. It invites us in its composite universe, grounding us in the present, creating a delicate and dreamlike state. Through its soft synthetic layers on Sage Green Eyes, its ethereal choirs and its warm rhythms on the epic and soothing Solace In Loneliness or the uplifting sophisti-pop duos with the rising french pop singer Dorcas on the songs Sunlight Tryst and Another Heart, the artist rouses our spirits, suspends time, and frees us for a moment, from the weight of modernity. The newly released, hypnotic and catchy nu-disco/avant-pop tune In a Daze (2023) brings out new colors to the project, setting up a solar odyssey somewhere lost in time and space. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Kriminaaliset Metsänhaltijat | Raw old-school industrial on the bones of SPK and THROBBING GRISTLE through the prism of Japanese harsh-noise and Finnish hardcore-punk. Nihilistic nightmare. Diffused synth hiss, pretentious harsh-noise arcades, crispy scurfy hateful power-electronics. Another spit into the face of rotten society and shitty system. There were a few closed gigs. Also, loads of recordings were made. Most of them have been destroyed. Some parts of tapes full of piss and vinegar have just been lost or erased during terrible hangovers. All that have been saved - works from 1997 and later. Those are sounds recorded on our 4-track. The sounds of sick buzz in our heads. Torn apart sheets of iron and stone walls of slaughterhouses spattered with blood. This is the shit rubbed in the silk white sheets of modern industrial. This is the true old-school noise! No modern bullshit and nazi crap! Ⓐ | |
