Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Jacob's Room | Jacob's Room were a south London indie guitar group based in Hither Green between 1985 and 1986. They played a small number of local gigs as a three-piece before disbanding. An eight-song demo was recorded on a Fostex four-track mainly to attract new members, no copies appear to have survived. Jacob’s Room were notable at the time for their melancholy baritone vocals, treated guitars, and texture-rich multi-keyboards that preceded the broader genres of Shoegaze and Dream Pop. During the autumn of 2022, Dave Fennessy rekindled his musical partnership with Gary Parker, suggesting that even though it had been 37 years, they should rerecord the eight original songs from memory to see how they would have sounded, using equipment of the time that they couldn't then afford. During this process, Gary presented several new and recent songs to add to the 21-track album project, Then & Now. This was released during July 2023. | |

Soon after that I purchased a Commodore 64 computer exploring the SID chip, made several tunes for demos etc. A few years later, when new-beat and acid house was born I started making acid, techno and house tracks on my Amiga 500 with my first sampler device. Made some music in my dad's home studio during a few years but kept it as a hobby. After many upgrades and making tracks for home pleasure I recently got in touch with a wellknown producer who teamed up for making a lot of new tracks. Nowadays i'm equipped with a DAW, many vst plugins, audio interface, keyboards,... |

| Search | Add | 4 | Trans/Human | Adam Denton and Luke Twyman began collaborating under the name Trans/Human at The Audacious Art Experiment HQ in Sheffield during 2011. Employing several noise making devices and techniques in their performances, including mobile phones, radio, cassette tape, prepared electric guitar, processed drums, strobe lighting, contact microphones, field recordings and feedback systems, Trans/Human’s concerns lie within the physical act of music making and its relationship to environment and audience. Through their collaboration the duo sought to reflect their inclination towards creating ritualized sonic and visual experiences via a series of improvised performances, resulting in the cassette release, The 8 Hour Dance (2011). A further release on Blackest Rainbow, The Wider, was recorded in early 2012. Trans/Human’s improvised performances led to important collaborations with New Aktionist artists Nick Kilby and Kris Kanavan. Throughout 2012 Trans/Human have developed their performances to use the artist’s body as a conduit between noise and audience. By amplifying objects used by Kilby or Canavan during these performances, Trans/Human have added to their repository of noise making devices, bringing together performance and sound art in an innovative and engaging way. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Perla McRay | "The Voice", as you call your friends, was born in the Philippines as one of three daughters of a typical Filipino family of musicians. It so happened that Perla preferred to sing early on rather than play with Barbie dolls. Her mother was her patient teacher and trained her voice at a young age. The first local appearances in her home country followed after her high school engagements abroad at club level in Japan and in the Arab region. Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and all of Scandinavia were the next stops before Perla McRay started her show career in Germany. | |

LaBell, William Sessions, Freddie Jordon and Marvin Jordon. Their producer and manager was Earl Marable. "I'll Live On" was the original A side and "Someone Tell Her" was the B side, though Northern Soul fans later chose to reverse those choices. The songs were recorded twice. The first, with piano, was only an archival song originally and was added as a bonus track to the Jamie CD, The Northern Side of Philly Soul. The single came from their October 10, 1967 session, which also included four gospel songs. The sessions were held at 919 Studios, at 919 North Road Street in Philadelphia. The group left the label on February 7, 1968. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Росинка | Rosynka is a female vocal ensemble of Prykarpattia University. For the first time the student vocal ensemble "Rosynka" appeared on the big stage on March 7, 1967 under the direction of Khrystyna Mykhailyuk, then a first-year student of the Music and Pedagogical Faculty of Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute (now Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University). The composition of the ensemble often changed due to the short student age, but "Rosynka" has always been a kind of professional women's vocal school. Having already received national, then All-Union, recognition, in 1971 the girls were invited to take part in the musical TV movie "Red Route", which the studio "Ukrtelefilm" shot by Myroslav Skochilyas shot in Yaremche ("Rosynka" was almost the most famous of all team). The beauties from Prykarpattia added a special charm with their presence and vocal style along with the same young singers and composers as they were then: amateur Levko Dutkovsky, Volodymyr Ivasyuk, Valery Gromtsev, Vasyl Zinkevich, Nazariy Yaremchuk, Sofia 15 three were sung brilliantly, three brilliantly sang "Rosynka" - "Flow" by Ruslan Ishchuk to a poem by Stepan Pushyk, "Cranes fly away" by Alexander Bilash to the words of Valery Guzhva, "Where the mountains and forests" by Valery Gromtsev to the text by Nikolai Buchko. Thousands of concerts, thousands of fans, thousands of autographs, hundreds of works… In the golden fund of "Rosynka" Ukrainian folk songs, love songs, romances, works of world and modern classics. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Lyr-x-ist | In 2003 Kalo/Are-tistik returned to Saskatoon to form the group Lyr-x-st with Atrium and Aposle. It happened on David Knight Cresent, outside of Atriums house, near his cucumber fields. Lyr-x-ist released it first cd entitled Lyriks Exist in November 2003, creating a buzz around the city for its unique sound. Lyr-x-ist headlined various events and venues around Saskatoon such as the Odeon Events Centre and the Jazz Basement. Lyr-x-ist first public performance was headlining a fashion show. In August 2004, Lyr-x-ist released its first professionally pressed sophomore album entitled The Krossing. Lyr-x-ist released the album to a capacity crowd at the Odeon Events Centre in March 2005. Opening for Lyr-X-ist was ‘Dro’ of Canadian rap group ‘Rezofficial’. To date this show remains one of the largest local talent hiphop shows in Saskatchewan history, and made the Odeon a respectable hiphop venue. In the summer of 2005, Are-tis-tik, Atrium and Aposle, moved to Calgary to record their third studio album. Within 30 days they had recorded 32 songs. In August 2005, they released half of these songs on Chapter one: Riders of the North. This album received critical acclaim and international recognition in German magazines, being compared to fellow Canadian recording artists Swollen Members. Lyr-x-ist performed several shows in Saskatoon to promote the album at the Odeon Events Centre and Jazz Basement. Chapter 2 was released digitally. The Final Chapter is completed and we hope to release it sometime. | |
