Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | El Gaitero de Libardón | Ramón García Tuero | Arroes (Asturias), June 6, 1864-Libardón (Asturias), October 21, 1932. Singer, musician and composer. Of humble rural origin, as a child showed considerable musical skills. Fame came soon, thanks to singing with a booming voice and, simultaneously, accompanied in a virtuous way with the bagpipe or the harmonium, getting to compose a repertoire of its own that is part of the musical heritage of Asturias and other territories. Thanks to that artistic multiplicity and its charismatic character, popular esteem was easily gained and, later, the poster of renowned artistic spaces. Dignified and made known outside Spain traditional Asturian music, as a pioneer in transcending beyond its borders through tours, recordings or radio performances at the dawn of the twentieth century. In 1889 an industrial firm took him to the Universal Exposition in Paris, on his first trip abroad, which gave him an important boost. The following year, he settled for marriage in the town of Libardón, from where the artistic name comes with which he passed to posterity. In 1900 he traveled again to Paris led by a brand of Asturian cider, to participate in the Universal Exhibition whose symbol was the Eiffel Tower. The success there obtained that the jury of the contest granted him the Medal of Merit, one of the many awards that he would receive in his career, as the one later imposed by King Alfonso XIII. In turn, the piper composed a song for the Prince of Asturias and was also received in audience by Queen Mother Maria Cristina and General Primo de Rivera. Its artistic apogee covered the first three decades of the twentieth century, with performances throughout the national territory that announced the "laureate and famous piper", according to the programs of the time. Later, he began his journey abroad, sponsored by the thriving Asturian industry of accordion cider and later on tournees on his own. In Europe he traveled through Italy, France, Germany and England and, in 1907, he arrived for the first time in America, where, until 1918 and in several trips from Spain, he traveled from the south of the United States to Argentina. In Cuba he coincided with Enrico Caruso (1873-1921), perceiving the same cachet as the famous Neapolitan tenor. In 1911 he attended the International Exhibition of Buenos Aires. He signed an international contract there with a New York firm to make recordings, an activity that began in 1909 in Spain, and that continued in successive years for several phonographic brands in Spanish and European studios. After attending the Barcelona International Exposition of 1929, his last sounded appearance was made that same year at the Ibero-American Exposition in Seville, shortly before his death that had great public repercussion. Since then, tributes are regularly held in his memory. Thus, in 2001, he was designated as one of the "20 Asturians of the 20th Century" in a popular contest organized through the Internet by the newspaper El Comercio in Gijón . |

Search | Add | 3 | 2 Wikked | 2 Wikked is a duo from Eindhoven representing the South part of the Netherlands. The kru consists of RodmanSan and Cruzaway which are both veterans of da Dutch 1980's HipHop scene. From 1995 they started making Breakbeat music with influences of Reggae, Soul, HipHop, Electro, Funk, Jazz and Movies. Next to creating music you can see why the awesome twosome are really goin' down when the Beats and Wikked Basses are rolling live on stage. You can find the roots of RodmanSan and Cruzaway starting from around 1985 when HipHop music exploded as a new hype in Europe. This is also the period when the duo started playing in several HipHop crews. RodmanSan was then more concentrating on creating music, while Cruzaway could be found as a rapper behind the microfone. After playing in different bands the twosome decided to work together, this gave them the new impulse for letting the music change from HipHop to Break Beats. At a show you can find 2 Wikked back as Mixologists, which means that there is no DAT-recorder involved but that the songs are again live mixed and played. In this way the duo can allow themselves to interact with the public and reproduce a song to the likeness of the people on the floor. Mixology is also explained as a multi-functional word for everything that has to do about creating Electronic music.

Search | Add | 3 | Lucia Farinati | Lucia Farinati (Italy/UK) is an independent curator and researcher based in London. She studied on the Curatorial Programme at Goldsmiths College (2004), London, Public Art and European Cultural Planning at De Montfort University, Leicester (2000) and History of Art and Aesthetics at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Trento (Italy) (1997). Her practice is informed by an interdisciplinary approach to working and collaborating with artists and by a production-oriented mode to framing contemporary art and curatorial practices. Her research is focused on the relationship between contemporary art and the public sphere, and listening at the intersection between sonic art and activism. Current projects include Come una possibilità di incontro, a series of collective readings of the book Autoritratto by art historian and feminist Carla Lonzi, produced for bip bop, a project by Rita Correddu and Elena Biserna, for Radio Fujiko (June 2013) and Ascoltando Camminando, a sound walk based workshop in collaboration with Brave New Alps for the Festival Futuro Presente, Rovereto, (June 2013). In 2012 she curated Nuovi Paesaggi - Sound Stories from Tuscany, five works conceived and produced for radio that narrate a territory and its cultural geography by Viv Corringham, Mikhail Karikis, Laura Malacart, Davide Tidoni & Allen S. Weiss, produced by Radio Papesse and Villa Romana, Florence, Summer 2012 Between 2002 and 2007 she curated many exhibitions in museums and art spaces in Italy and in the UK, including Framing Devices (Paola di Bello, Margherita Morgantin, Camila Sposati), The Agency, London; Tales of The City (co-curator) (Abigail Reynolds, Carey Young, Nils Norman, Zineb Sedira et al.), Arte Fiera, Bologna; Beating About the Bush (cocurator) (Peter Coffin, Gabriel Kuri, Hannah Rickard, William Speakman, Mark Aerial Waller et al.), South London Gallery; Rip it up and start again (Dan Davis, Richard T. Walker, William Hunt), Villa delle Rose, Bologna; Ursula Mayer, Monitor, Rome; Institution of Rot (curator of events by 16 Beaver and the Bohman Brothers among others). With the support of Arts Council England she initiated and co-produced two long term crossdisciplinary projects that investigated the social and urban regeneration of East London: We Sell Boxes, We Buy Gold (2007) a series of urban walks and field recordings made in collaboration with Jude Rosen, Alberto Duman, Louise Garrett and Richard Crow, London, which was recently presented as part of Sound Proof 5, London (August 2012); and Found Wanting (2003), a night bus tour in collaboration with the collective e-Xplo (Rene Gabri, Heimo Lattner, Erin McGonigle). She has been collaborating with the artist William Furlong since 2005, initially as an interviewer for Audio Arts magazine (interviews with artists Tino Sehgal, Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, Carl von Hausswolff and Leif Elggren, and Manuela Ribadeneira, 2005-2007) and subsequently as a curator. Through a series of site-specific exhibitions she investigated Audio Arts as an active arc hive. The exhibitions include: Speaking to Others: Who Speaks to Who, Villa Romana, Florence, 2013; Not Speaking the Language, Flat Time House, London, 2010; Hearing Me Hearing You, Plymouth Arts Centre, Plymouth, 2007; Extraction/ Construction/Abstraction, Sound Art Museum/Radio Arte Mobile, Rome 2006. In 2006 she organized and chaired the Symposium Active Archive at the British School at Rome, with William Furlong, the art critic Mel Gooding, music journalist Daniela Cascella, and curator Lorenzo Benedetti. The outcome of this research was recently presented at the symposium Off the Record: The history and legacy of Audio Arts Magazine on contemporary art, Tate Britain, 13 October 2012. Lucia is currently Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design and also leads seminars on public art, curatorial practice, and cultural activism, with specific focus on sound, immaterial labour, and feminist practice. These have included lectures at Glasgow School of Art, London College of Fashion, Royal College of Art, London College of Communications, Wimbledon College of Art, Bergamo Fine Arts Academy - Accademia Carrara; Milan University Il Politecnico, and Tate Britain among others. In 2010 she co-edited with writer Daniela Cascella, Transmission, a book commissioned by the Cut & Splice Festival in London and produced by Sound and Music and BBC Radio 3. Farinati has recently published "The Force of Listening", Errant Bodies Press 2017, a new publication that looks at the role of listening in contemporary conjunctions between art and activism, and was launched at Housmans Radical Bookshop in London in July 2017. In June 2016 she presented at the conference "Giving Life to Politics: The Work of Adriana Cavarero, CAPPE, University of Brighton. Recent conferences and presentations: Immurement, (Mountain of Art Research), Art Research Seminar, Flashpoint 1, Goldsmiths University of London. 5 October, 2017, and Incommon: Performing Arts in Italy 1959 to 1970, IUAV, Venice 19-20 October 2017.

Search | Add | 3 | Amaguq | Built upon the ashes of stillborn and imperfect projects, AMAGUQ consists of three individuals dedicated to occult metal music. Created in 2010, the band underwent several name changes and line-up modifications until it reached its final form in 2015 under the name of AMAGUQ, the Wolf-Devil of ancient Inuit mythology. Originally from Canada, now located in France because of academic commitments, BR (bass, vocals) and SR (drums, keyboard), two brothers of Inuit ancestry have been joined by AK (guitars, vocals) to form a powerful and vicious trident devoted to war metal. Highly influenced by Finnish mad kings of Beherit and Impaled Nazarene, fueled by the fury of fellow Canadian warmongers Blasphemy and Conqueror, AMAGUQ’s only goal is to destroy everything in sight while praising the old Gods of Kalaallit Nunaat.

Search | Add | 3 | Jackie Storrar | Jackie Storrar was raised in Kirkcaldy just outside Edinburgh and attended the same school as Gordon Brown, the last labour prime minister. Music was always her first love which was to take her to perform in over 80 countries worldwide, from the early days at school and in church to Country festivals, cruise ships and theatre shows. Jackie quickly became a media person after being given the chance to present her Country Girl show on Dundee's Radio Tay, the first female Country jock on the station. This led to other media work and the chance to be the breakfast jock on Island Sound Radio in Malta. This soon encompassed tv work and eventually to her performing live all over the Island. Jackie all this time maintained her songwriting skills which led to her becoming a premier presenter on CMR Nashville from 2009 to 2011. Meeting her husband to be on a cruise ship she married Steve Theibault in 2003 and a great musical partnership was born. It was only in recent years that Jackie’s health has caused her to stop performing.

Search | Add | 3 | Lou Rose | Bred in the streets of Oakland - California, Lou Rose inherited a unique swag, which is translated to his deep passion for music. Lou Rose at 12 years old was strongly influenced by many artists from all types of genres throughout different generations including urban artists/groups and lyricists such as the late Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Too Short, Three 6 Mafia, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx, New Edition, Guy, Jackson 5 just to name a few. However, it was not until he partnered up with a group of friends as a rap rookie in the late 1990’s that he finally got to showcase his rap skills which helped spawned his creativity in Hip Hop and R&B/Rap and continue to pursue his addiction for music. While never giving up on the American Dream, the young rapper then delivered his first local club hit track “Long Island Ice Tea” in summer of 2006 and composed numerous mix tapes. Late summer of 2009, he then dropped his debut album “Evolution” which gained underground access to help reach his first major music milestone. April 2011, he then dropped “FREEWORLD” with guest on Over Night Celebrity stating the album as “..Lou Rose is the new bay sound!” while later releasing “Color Me Bad” in September 2011 and is currently working on another album titled, “Love & Loyalty” which will release some time early in the new year. As CEO and founder of Global 1 Music Group, the young entrepreneur successfully bridges an exclusive deal with UrbanLife and AWAL Distribution with one goal in mind, to deliver his music across the globe.

She Shinjuku was the brain child of KJ from Sydney band The Art , due to many circumstances the concept band never moved passed this EP, however Golden Robot Records was proud to be involved , not every project goes beyond certain stages but for us its about supporting Australian musicians in there quest for exploration of musical ideas and She Shinjuku was one of those. She Shinjuku is one of the best bands and EP’s you will hear and its as fresh today in 2020 as it was when it was recorded. (Official Site Promo). |

Search | Add | 3 | Jhyka | Since 2001 DJ Jhyka (Will Calkins) has been spinning techno, drum'n'bass and dubstep at clubs, raves, private parties and events such as the Electric Forest. Although rooted in techno, Jhyka has had a diverse musical history. From performing in punk bands through the 1990's - to writing his own scores for his films, to sound checking for big name national blues bands. Consistently involved in various musical projects, Jhyka would still make time for recording dark experimental genre-defying beats and soundscapes under the alias "Kitl Pun". This is where the self-taught producer really started to figure out how to build increasingly complex tracks, which became the stepping stones into the world of techno and dubstep.

Search | Add | 3 | Al Gilliom | Al Gilliom | Al Gilliom’s music will peel back your defenses and hit your soul. His music melds a multitude of genres, including (but not limited to!): classical (Chopin), rock (Nirvana), and contemporary (The Piano Guys). Throwback to Al’s younger years: beginning life at just 1lb 11oz, the doctors played classical music into his isolette. Born into a world bursting with classical music, the spark never left. He would sit mesmerized, watching his grandmother’s hands dance across the piano keys. The piano awakened something inside of him— this language allowed him to take his life experiences and translate them into a universal medium - sound. In the face of adversity, music brings hope into his life. Through teaching and sharing his compositions, he continually discovers the ability to ignite this feeling in others. Al’s dream is to share his life stories with you through his vulnerable music. 2 years ago, Al released an improvisatory solo piano album, 'A Place Of Peace'. As Al’s grown and changed as a person and a musician, and the stories that have burst forth from his fingers into original compositions that are unlike any he’s recorded before. Al’s excited to offer a deeper glimpse into his world on his upcoming album, ‘The Light In Dark Spaces’. Introverted to the core, Al is the definition of a wallflower. (Well, let’s be honest. You won’t find him at a party. He’d rather be at home practicing the piano, drinking a cup of tea (or homemade hard cider) or reading a book.) In addition to making music, Al enjoys tending to his small homestead farm (with goats and chickens), cooking delicious meals, trying not to kill his houseplants, and reading paperback books. |
