Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Eva Leblanc | Eva Leblanc | Eva Leblanc, a Venezuelan-born trans-woman immigrant, living in the UK. She is a multi-disciplinary artist who finds time to play experimental music, collaborate with Eve Libertine of CRASS, as well as being active in the local punk scene. In 2023, she released a seven-track demo, since issued as 7”, of raw electronic-drums hardcore-punk sang in Spanish, bringing to the table her personal experience as a Latin American trans-feminist, living in an oppressive society. TRAIDORA has played relentlessly both in UK and abroad, with different line ups, but always bringing an uncompromising political hardcore punk to the stage. Against all odds, both to receptive and not-so-receptive audiences. Fast forward to 2025 and with a steady line-up made up of four queer people, TRAIDORA enter Bear Bite Horse Studios to record their first full length. The result – heavily influenced by the hardest side of Latin American punk – is thirteen blasts of sharp and blown-up crude hardcore punk. Sonically sitting somewhere between DROP DEAD, MASACRE 68 and LOS CRUDOS. With Eva singing in Spanish about morality, gender, borders, Palestine or local Mapuche struggles with a strong trans-feminist immigrant message. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Positive Thursdays in DUB | POSITIVE THURSDAYS IN DUB is a group of experienced musicians, who loved experiments with sound and jazz improvisation. It all started in late 2011 as a musical project, which was an extension of Positive Thursdays radio show - broadcasted continuously since 2006. Passion for dub made created a project that with expanded time grow with new members and as a live act start to play regular concerts. In such form, they functioned almost 4 years in between organizing such successful events as Thursday Bass Addicts, Island Bass Addicts, True Bass Addicts or 71Hz Unity. Additinally they supported artists such as legendaryBritish reggae group Steel Pulse, vocalist of Black Uhuru Michael Rose and Jamaican reggae singer Etana or Dutch reggae/dub producer Twilight Circus and Polish bass music producer Hatti Vatti. They also toured abroad appearing in Scotland during Wee Dub Festival in 2014, and in Bulgaria on Student Camp Summer Fest 2013. In fall of 2013 they played live dub session at Radio RAM in Wroclaw as first band in history of this radio. This session was broadcast live directly from studio giving birth of RAM Sessions cycle. In 2014 they start cooperating with British singer Ghetto Priest (Asian Dub Foundation/ On U Sound). Year 2015 is a breakthrough for the group. DJ live act turned into a full-fledged band that includes experienced musicians who above all value experiments with sounds and musical freedom. They left together on a journey looking for your own unique sound. Intensive work in the studio results with the creation of new tunes. Additionally, in 2016 Gheto Preist came to Wrocław to work togethe rwith the band. Effect of this visit is the documentary movie "Rockin 'In Babylon", which was recorded during studio sessions. Since than band hasn't slowed down, appearing at various events in the country as Independent Dub Day 2017. They also opened show for a popular French band Dub Inc.during their visits in Poland. 2018 is, apart from concerts, mainly focus and works on an original material. Concept of the album "Landing On Planet Dub” was released on April 4th, 2020 by a Dutch label Rockers Artists Agency, with whom band has been cooperating since 2019. Shows of Positive Thursdays in DUB are above all focused to show everyone a broad spectrum of reggae and dub music. Overcrowded with improvisation performances make it unique every time no concert are the same. It's fun from playing music and a specific transfer of the idea of sound system juggling speeds and moods on organic sound of the band. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Shoot the DJ | Emerging out of the Armidale "hippy punk" movement of the late-1970s, Shoot the DJ was a theatrical rock band based in the New England region of New South Wales (ca. 1982-1984) and later in Sydney (1985-1986). Its musical influences ranged across a diverse number of genres, including classic rock, hard rock, punk, art rock, bubblegum pop and film themes. While Shoot the DJ did not release any recordings at the time, its music was played on ABC radio’s Triple J network and on local radio stations like 2ARM FM. During its Armidale tenure the band regularly toured the North-West and North Coast regions, including centres such as Tamworth, Uralla, Inverell, Narrabri, Dorrigo, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, Grafton and Macksville. It secured its gigs either through self-management or with John Logan Entertainment and Horizon Entertainment. Several albums have been retrospectively released through the Northern Tablelands Music Industry Archive. Shoot the DJ’s distinctive stage shows (with designs by [a16133835] and Jo-ann Simmons) set them apart from all other regional New South Wales bands, as did their preference for playing mostly original material. For one Armidale show they decked the stage out as a fully furnished one room apartment, with invited guests later interacting with them. A gig at Coffs Harbour's Hoe Moe saw the the entire stage (including equipment) wrapped in alfoil. The band’s live appearances would also sometimes involve poetry readings, theatrical scenes played out by actors, live television broadcasts and a multitude of theme-related props, ranging from skeletons and blow-up sex dolls to original artwork and paintings by Clay Djubal. On election night 1983, for example, they set up televisions around the stage so patrons could watch the results. The band's line-up, which remained the same throughout its tenure, comprised [a15716712] (guitar/vocals/live sound), Clay Djubal (vocals/bass/design and food), [a16133838] (drums/recording engineer/live sound), and [a16133841] (guitar/vocals). Interestingly the band had access to a four-track recording deck from the start, and acquired its own PA system soon after forming. Jo-Ann Simmons was engaged as front-of-house mixer. She later moved to lighting operator and collaborated as lyricist with Clay Djubal on many of the band's original songs. Shoot the DJ temporarily disbanded in 1984 when Djubal, Mirza and Mitchell relocated to Sydney to take up individual opportunities. Within a year, however, a new stream-lined three piece line-up came together (comprising Djubal, Mitchell and former Grafton guitarist, Nick Miles). Ziggy Mirza, who was then playing in another Sydney band helped record a bunch of new songs before Miles was engaged. He returned in early-1986 as bass guitarist for Shoot the DJ's northern New South Wales tour (with Helga ünd der Blitzkrieg). The band played as a three piece in their first set and with Mirza in the second – thereby allowing Clay Djubal to focus on lead vocals and keyboards. The group disbanded not long after the tour when it became apparent that each of the members were keen to move in different career directions. Although the Mark II version of Shoot the DJ recorded an album’s worth of material during this period nothing was ever released until 2008. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | WhiteFlag Project | An appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival is usually a special moment in the life of any band. But when you are a group of musicians from Israel and the Palestinian territories who haven’t seen, let alone played with each other for five years then it takes on an even deeper significance. White Flag, a mix of five Israelis and four Palestinians, are a "band in exile". After forming in 1999 they played around 20 gigs in Israel before the outbreak of the second intifada the following year scattered members to the four winds. A couple ended up in the United States, one came to Switzerland, while two others were trapped in the Gaza Strip. But five years on, thanks to the dogged persistence of a Swiss television editor and the pulling of several diplomatic strings, the band have reunited in Switzerland. "This is our first meeting in five years, since the start of the second intifada," band member Zaher Abdu Aljawad told swissinfo. "I never thought we would meet again – and when we did it was magical, like a dream." The band arrived in Lucerne at the beginning of May following an invitation from the city’s mayor Urs Studer, and this week they played two nights at Montreux. During their stay in Switzerland they have recorded their first CD, entitled: White Flag – a Band in Exile. But the whole project, which has been financed by the city of Lucerne plus various Swiss and international foundations, has not been without its problems. "It was really difficult getting them together for two reasons," said Urban Frye, who works as an editor and producer in the music department at Swiss-German television. "The first is that every time you mention the word 'Palestinian’, people are immediately suspicious about giving a visa. In the end I rang the mayor of Lucerne, who is an old friend, and he came up with the idea of inviting the whole band which opened a lot of doors. "The second is that two of the musicians come from the Gaza Strip and they were afraid of what might happen to their families once it got out that they were being paid to travel to Switzerland to play with Israeli musicians. I had to put pressure on the Swiss mission in Ramallah to contact the Palestinian minister for culture to get official approval." The politics of the Middle East are never far away from the band. When swissinfo turned up in Montreux, percussionist Katja Cooper and vocalist Yasin Almallahi were discussing Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, which is scheduled to take place next month. There has even been talk that the band and their Middle East street-fusion sound could become a musical face for the peace process – an example of Israelis and Palestinians living and playing together side by side. Switzerland, which helped to launch an unofficial peace accord for the Middle East known as the Geneva Initiative in December 2003, has been providing "logistical and organisational support" for the band. But Ivo Sieber, a spokesman for the Swiss foreign ministry, insisted that it was up to Israeli and Palestinian partners to decide whether White Flag could play a role in promoting the accord. While the band go to great pains to stress that they are first and foremost a group of artists who just want to play music, they are fully aware of the growing interest from outside parties. "As long as we can play the music the way we want to play it and don’t have to shout politics, it would be nice to represent the Palestinians and the Israelis," said Cooper, who now lives in San Francisco. "We’re an example of what’s possible – that your nationality and ethnic background don’t matter. There are so many things that people have in common and it’s just getting distorted by politics and who owns what land. The world doesn’t have to be that complicated." The ultimate goal of the band is to be able to play together once again in Israel and if possible in the Palestinian territories. Frye believes the main obstacle to this lies with the Israeli Defence Force, which would have to authorise the Israeli musicians to enter the occupied territories and the Palestinians to travel in the opposite direction. Yasin, who left his newborn baby in Gaza to come to Switzerland, is undaunted. He subscribes to the view that "where there’s a will, there’s a way". "Peace has to come from both sides – Israeli and Palestinian – and there has to be will and understanding on both sides," he said. "If we succeed with our CD and our music and get a little more famous then it could become easier for us to travel around. There are people in the occupied territories and Israel who think what we’re doing is a good thing. "We are just musicians and we should be able to play anywhere. We shouldn’t be in exile." “A veces me dicen esa voz yo la he escuchado. |

Paul Dreyfuss sings the flip side alone. Paul Dreyfuss was managed by Johnny Nash 1965-1966 and recorded on Joda but nothing was released. His only release was this record which was written by Johnny Cymbal. After it was released Paul put a group together (Joe Nesor, bass and Jimmy Fracassi, lead guitar, unknown drummer). Johnny Cymbal did not appear with the group although he wrote Carol Cartoon and named the group The Eye-Full Tower. The difference between J. Cymbal's voice and P. Dreyfuss's is very noticeable. The vocals were recorded 3/7/1967 in Bell Sound Studio. The original record has the group called Dreyfus & Company on the label but the deal was made using the name The Eye-Full Tower. It was released on SSS International in the U.S. and on Polydor in the U.K. |
