Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Sclavos | Sclavos mess with an exonerated post-punk glitch and their shows glamorously flirt with a meditating exploit through the exploration of the limits of the self. Cacophonous and edgy, nasty and audacious, they project the primordial basis of cathartic rock music to a post-apocalyptic, toxic sound annihilation.

Search | Add | 2 | Cyrillic | The electronic duo Cyrillic consists of young and talented Andrej Ivanoski & Bojan Ivanoski. Their beginnings go back to 2014, when they both decided to join forces and experience as well and share their passion towards electronic music with the rest of the world. They are known for their unique style and energetic sets. They produce their own original music and are strongly headed towards fulfilling their goal, (as the name itself says it) - to become true reformists in the process of spreading the ''literacy'', which in this case would mean to raise awareness and acceptance of this kind of music in the area. They released a remix on Sara Mace’s song-Denot da e ubav (A day to be beautiful) , that they gave a new dimension to her single and they released a remix for Cyrillic ft. Lambe & Bube - Koga Sonce Gree Placam (Remix),Donplaya - Nogu Kucki Musli Jadat (Cyrillic & H$P Remix) and Bang La Decks – Zouka (Cyrillic Remix). Also they are working on some new tracks, soon to be expected.

Search | Add | 2 | Philippe De Sousa | His first instrument was the classical guitar that he first taught himself, then alongside Juan Cedrón. He was introduced to bass and other stringed instruments (cavaquinho, rajão, fretless guitar ...) before revealing the Portuguese guitar. In Lisbon, he became a student of guitarist Carlos Gonçalves, who was for many years the companion of a famous singer Amalia Rodrigues. During his studies in musicology at the University Paris 8, he gets into the middle of the traditional fado in Paris. Which gives him the opportunity to accompany the "Fado singers" that occur in France. Philippe de Sousa is now a professor at the Academy of Fado where he teaches Portuguese guitar.

The band started in Val Venosta (BZ) 'Trentino Alto-Adige' (Italy), where it made a fair success with a single called 'She is Susy - Across the water' in the early 90s. 'She is Susy' is the song on the side A of the vinyl 45 rpm, while the side B song is entitled 'Across the water'. The Warriors In The Fog recorded their first single at the “Infernal Recording Studio” in Mira (Venice) from December 1989 to January 1990. It was self-produced, published and distributed by the band in 'Veneto' and 'Trentino-Alto Adige' regions in summer 1990. In 1990, and for a few years on, some radios played the record in Val Venosta (BZ) and several clubs in this area listened to and enjoyed the song. 'She is Susy' is considered a unique and very danceable song. The particular genre of music created by the band is considered 'Funky-New Wave'. Later the song made a fair success in almost all the clubs in the region of 'Trentino-Alto Adige' and in some clubs in the region of 'Veneto'. The Warriors In The Fog played live from 1991 to 1992, in some places in 'Trentino-Alto Adige' and 'Veneto', even under a different name, proposing and interpreting famous 'covers'. In performances, the band played dance music for all tastes; during the live performance of the band, the guitarist played the guitar with his mouth or behind his back.

Search | Add | 2 | Fuck Your Birthday | [a6546567] is an American garage rock / math rock band born in Morgantown, WV, and currently based out of New York City and Wenzhou, China. Formed in 2012, vocalist/guitarist [a7535441] (an ESL teacher in Wenzhou) and drummer [a6546568] (a NYC-based photographer) have maintained a prolific stream of DIY releases and touring activity, despite their frequent time apart (12 time zones apart to be precise). After a brief stint as a trio with bassist/vocalist Michelle Fincham, who is featured on the January 2014 EP The Cymbal Barks Louder Than You, [a6546567] forged ahead as a duo, embarking on their Jet-lag Revival Tour followed by the Li EP in October 2014 (recorded, mixed, and mastered by [a4620178] of Akron, Ohio’s [a6554685]). June 2015 saw the release of the Future Teller EP, at which point the band began working on material for a full-length record. Crafted over frequent Megabus treks between New York and Morgantown, [a6546567]’s debut LP, Touchless Automatic, was released in April 2016. Touring was not possible at this time as Christopher had recently graduated and accepted a job as an ESL teacher in Wenzhou, China. The following year, in April of 2017, Roman travelled to Wenzhou for [a6546567]’s first international tour. Spring Roll 2017 spanned two weeks and 8 cities in southern China (Wenzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Changsha, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Shanghai – watch “Live in Shanghai” via the FYB YouTube channel). In October 2017, Roman returned to Wenzhou to play more shows and work on new material. A selection of these sessions will be released as [r=12156753] on [l545739], available June 8, 2018, in a limited edition 6-panel Digipak CD format and at digital retailers worldwide.

He was part of the family "Salgado" who was known for making the legendary, and now rare, "Violas Queluz" . After the success of the initial event were several proposals for presentations and emerging group performed in numerous cities in "Minas Gerais" and important projects in the state capital. The group was awarded in many festivals of song, very common in the era. In 1981 launched a 7" double, In 1982 a LP "Prá Vida" all favoring music copyright. These LP are depleted. In the 90's came a compilation bringing together these 02 papers on a CD, which is also sold out. The Queluz was basically a vocal - acoustic group playing their own songs. Even today, even after its extinction in 1983 many young musicians still perform frequently their songs like: "Esse Meu Coração", "Veludo" e "Poeira". The Group will launch in December 2013, an EP with four songs and unpublished copyright. Grupo QueLuz De Minas |

Search | Add | 2 | Biggi Gunn | Birgir Bergmann Gunnarsson | Biggi Gunn – eða Birgir Bergmann Gunnarsson – er búsettur í Kaliforníu þar sem hann rekur sjúkraþjálfunarmiðstöð. Í árdaga tók hann þátt í ballharki hér heima á Fróni og lék með ýmsum sveitum frá Ólafsvík sem trymbill. --- Born on January 1st 1951 in Rekjavik, Iceland. The son of a taxi driver and a fish factory worker, Biggi Gunn was a dreamer, and had plans to lead I life much different than that of his parents. His love for music began at a young age. At the age of 14 he started his own band in which he sang and played the drums. He participated in school plays and when he was able, and he and his band would play at dances and events in small surrounding towns and soon all over Iceland. At the age of 30 he made his move to America where his younger brother resided. He has lived in southern California ever since. To hone his vocal skills, he studied opera and musical theater with a private teacher and through the next few years after making his move to America, Biggi formed many bands, with music genres ranging from jazz to rock to classic Icelandic favorites. In 2008 he released his first album “I was younger then” then just one year later in 2009 he released his second album “on the sunny side”. This year he is releasing his 3rd album, and although it reflects his first musical works, this album differs slightly. It is all in Icelandic. American favorites translated into Icelandic, so that he can share the great American songbook and all the music he loves with his people. Biggi will be making his debut performance of his new album at club Rosenberg in Iceland on November 10th 2012. Biggi has several more projects up his sleeves and plans to continue his musical career for as long as he can. |
