Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Gospel Choirs United | Minneapolis, Minnesota Gospel Choirs United (GCU) is a giant gospel music icon in Minnesota. Organized in 1974 by Phyllis Williams and the late Sam Davis, the choir continues to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Over its 42-year history, the choir has electrified audiences with an unforgettable upbeat sound. Annual concerts are filled with traditional, contemporary and mainstream gospel selections that capture the essence of God's goodness. This choir has sung before sold-out audiences, from the local church to the Fitzgerald and Ordway theaters. This compelling choir is composed of the most talented singers in the Midwest. Not only is the choir fantastic but the band is terrific and sometimes, quite honestly, off the charts! With rhythmic grooves and intricate harmonies, the choir and band are an awesome combination. The choir has featured many national recording artists in concert such as Daryl Coley, Keith Pringle, Steven Roberts and Jeffrey LaValley, just to name a few. To it's credit, GCU has also been involved in theater. The choir continues to receive recognition for participation in the highly acclaimed run of "Gospel at Colonus," a Broadway Musical which has also had a run at Minneapolis' Guthrie Theatre. Other theater credentials include participation in the Christmas musical "Harlem Nutcracker" as the Northrop Auditorium, and participation in the Plymouth Music Series "Witness" production with James Earl Jones at the Minneapolis Convention Center. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | John N. Wright | John North Wright | John North Wright was a musician, writer, inventor, traveler, and VHS and BETA filmmaker born 1942 in Port Huron, Michigan. Wright was a lifelong conspiracy theorist (Masonic and otherwise) with the belief that Bob Dylan had stole his wife, and that the CIA and FBI were monitoring him. These themes, and Port Huron in general, were the subjects of much of his music, writing, and films. Wright was arrested in April 1981 for threatening the life of George Bush Sr, head of the FBI at the time. He was imprisoned and stood trial, being acquitted in September of that year by reason of insanity. After writing and self-publishing three books between the mid 1970s and early 1980s, Wright began writing and recording music in late 1982. In 1983 he was invited by [a482408] of [a79222] to play a live event in Port Huron, a few songs from which ended up on the legendary [r262620] compilation cassette. This led to the recording of [r262630], spearheaded by Diehl and released on his [l11552] label. Also sometime in the 80's, Wright began producing videos using borrowed community college or public access equipment. In the late 90s, Wright took to making hundreds of websites to share his theories, writing, and music. In February 2004, Wright passed away from complications related to leukemia, in a Hawaii hospital. John moved to Hawaii shortly after the release of his last album, White Widow. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ryan B Hyeeze | Ryan Ballard | Hyeeze grew up in New Haven CT a.k.a. The Elm City. He developed a natural born talent to entertain large groups of people through acting. Professor Thomas Green of Yale University founded a traveling company that performed from school to school in the local areas known as Yale’s Open End Theater.Ryan quickly took notice and joined the company. He increased his experience with stage presents and public speaking and taking on the lead roles in two of the plays. With that held down for four years through high school, he wanted to share his personal views instead of other writers views to an audience. At this point in his life, he started writing poetry. Using the format of story telling over music, the poetry was formatted into raps. He describes stories everybody can relate to with humor and guaranteed to rock a crowd. Hyeeze sticks to real life issues of young minoritys growing up in poverty in high crime areas yet, the young artist can bring entertainment to any situation." He makes concept songs with a combination of word play make him more than capable to sell platinum records. Hyeeze quotes “ Ill never let a beat carry my lyrics, my lyrics will carry the beat.” If you take away anything from Hyeeze when he performs, it's the fact he always stays real and will always leave you wanting more. He is on a path to resurrect hip hop in a way that has not been done before. With that being said, the next time some one asks you who is Ryan? You can tell them that’s “ Ryan B Hyeeze he the homie coming strait from the ELM CITY!! |

| Search | Add | 3 | L.A. Big Daddy's | THE FOUNDATION: Picture Los Angeles in 1963. The stately homes in Lafayette Square have birthed a generation of musicians that the community and surrounding clubs will never forget. It’s the normal course of things when there’s no stand-out star, but just close friends and cool people who love what they do. Yet, when the world owes a debt in memory of their excellence, the L.A. Big Daddy’s have come forth to make sure it gets paid - in full. Local music teachers that cared enough, became the foundation to some of the world's brightest stars. For Matt Bragg and David E. Jackson, their dreams became possibilities, as they found themselves hanging out in a studio with Quincy Jones, and then somehow unexpectedly in New York City, watching the musical R&B, Funk, Soul, and Blues fusion, supergroup STUFF, record tracks for an upcoming project. It is not enough that Matt and David have both earned the respect from those who once inspired their thinking, but the musical memories from their beloved City of Angels, Wellington Road, have for decades fueled their commitment to musical coolness. Now the perfection of what they do, is proof that timing is indeed everything. Both Matt and David would be the first to say, that the cool of how and what you do, has always been about the delivery of the music, the stylistic approach, the touch and feel, and your understanding of what works and how it needs to be done - that creates a great song. MAKING MUSIC: Whether it is Jazz, Rock & Roll, Funk, R&B, Blues, or Soul, what lead the childhood friends Matt and David to one day become their musical heroes? They had an early start in the 1970’s working as multi-instrumentalists behind the music of 70’s James Bond film actress Brenda Arnou and Richard Street of The Temptations, and then making music alongside actor Chevy Chase for NBC’s Hit variety series The Midnight Special. They were the first call for American Smooth Jazz saxophonist Ronnie Laws; the 80’s R&B of Loose Ends; and then provided the groove to the blues, for the great ‘Sista Monica’ Parker. Matt Bragg and David E. Jackson are the foundation of the Los Angeles based music group “L.A. Big Daddy’s.” They have a friendship and history that provides insight to the musical roadmap of their first full-length, 12 track, studio recording titled “Rock Your Blues Away.” With good writing comes great songs, about cultural themes that are interwoven throughout our communities. A musical vision written and performed, as a good reminder of shared appreciation for great things and good music!! With Guest Performers: Kee Eso Pitchford, Gregg Wright, Ernie Johnson, and Dwayne “Holyghost Guitar” Watkins. Norman Williams, Adrian Meyers. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Luis Groove | Luis Díaz Ferrero | With some renowned tracks and remixes on labels like his very own Lowpitch and Overall Music, and with a career that dates back to the 90’s in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Luis Groove surely is one of the rising artists in the spanish underground music scene. Whether it's because of his role as Label Manager on his own digital imprint Lowpitch for the last 4 years, where important artists of the new electronic music spanish wave like Hanfry Martinez, Javier Carballo or Julian Perez had their very first releases on the market. Or because of his U Wanna Escape? party hosted in clubs like Sankeys Ibiza with guests of the like of Sonja Moonear, Maayan Nidam, Alex Picone or Binh. He has shared the booth with every top artist on the scene and his sets have been heard from all around Europe at clubs and festivals like Altavoz Festival, Tag Club (Venice), Chalet, MFG Club (Berlin), Cirque Paradis (Paris), The Ditch (London), La Ruche (Laussane), Goa @ Fabrik, Weekend, Charada (Madrid), Velvet, Heaven (Gran Canaria), Miniclub, Friends, Foc in Festival (Valencia), Sonar Off, Life Parade (Barcelona) and now based in Ibiza at the most of the clubs and events around the island like Ushuaia Beach Club, Space, Pacha, Destino, Booom or Privilege. All this, leaving behind important residences last years like Sankeys, Plan Be, El Ayoun in Ibiza or Club 7 Madrid. And in Tenerife being part of the most biggest events like Eolica Festival, Magma Meeting or Sunblast Festival playing almost at every edition and warming up the dancefloor for people like Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola or Luciano. His very first residence was with just 18 years old at the Club-Afterhours BB+ Tenerife, where he left a deep mark in the whole scene, after ten years (1999-2009) in front of the saturday night and sunday morning sessions. With an experience and a musical background that only years can give, his sets guarantee quality, class and know-how. The energy and charisma he transmits to the dancefloor in every set is reinforced by his style, always versatile and chameleonic, oscilating between raw deep house, tech funk or dub techno, with a high doses of breaks and filtered disco. Passionate and romantic about the good old analog sound, vinyl records and everything old school related, Luis holds the groove in a perfect balance between modern and classic, effective and sofisticated. Something that he want to show in a new project with his partner in crime Fran Cabello for this upcoming new year 2014 landing a new “only vinyl” record label. With future releases of Luis Groove as a new alias “Ferrero” and colaborations of artists like Alex Picone or Julian Perez. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Marcel Grantello | Anthony Bellante Jr. | Died August 19, 2021. Marcel Grantello aka Anthony "Little Anthony" Bellante, Jr. was a Dallas, Texas based entertainer in the Northern Soul and hard rock genres. Of Italian heritage, he came to prominence as the first white entertainer to be hired to Charles Taylor's Cotton Club Revue, which he later headlined. His longtime manager was Ray Brondo, a Dallas-based talent manager who was close friends with club owner and Lee Harvey Oswald assassin Jack Ruby. He recorded several regional singles under the Little Anthony and Marcel Grantello monikers, and worked with the UK label Smudge Records in the 1980s. Grantello aka Little Anthony was a lifelong James Brown devotee, and in fact was dubbed "The Second Hardest Working Man In Show Business" due to his convincing impersonation of James Brown. Starting in 1991, he sponsored numerous talent shows under names such as Little Anthony's Star Search and Little Anthony's Talent Revue. He passed away on August 19, 2021 due to complications related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). |
