Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Free Advertizement | Free Advertizement was an early brainchild of Korn Wall Us aka Matthew Wallace. Originally started to create remixes and learn production techniques, Free Advertizement soon began writing new original material. Later joined by Pete Za, the song "Pizza Mafia" was written and garnered some attention through DIY marketing and minor radio play on KMYZ's Home Groan radio show. After some time of inactivity, Pete Za was removed from the project and Korn Wall Us began collaborating with JdubC and Patrick Ward on a new album titled "Music Maker". The project was officially abandoned in 2009 when work began on new musical endeavors.

Search | Add | 4 | Dominic Margiotti | Dominic Margiotti | Dominic Margiotti is a recording artist from the U.S.. In 2011 he teamed up with co-writer Marc Abram to relesea their debut album, "The Pearly Gate Parade," which received glowing reviews from the indie community and found heavy rotation on non-comm and college radio. In 2016 the duo released "Always Everything," a mid/upbeat EP of innovative pop-rock songs. Their most recent 2022 Single, "My Kobayashi Maru" is a gritty, fast-paced song with garage-rock/punk undertones. Fans of the Star Trek series will immediately recognize the track's name, which refers to a test given to its ship's captains... but in pop-culture, has since become synonymous with a "no-win scenario." Margiotti is an ASCAP member and currently writes and records music for tv, movies and video-games. |

Search | Add | 4 | Fatter Faction | Dan Spier, Steve Scott, Ben McCusker | Audio architects/musicians Dan Spier and Steve Scott spend many years in their garage studio in Staines, Middlesex, remixing, bootlegging tunes to play-out to the free-party masses. A lack of direction was rectified when past free party cohort and vocalist Ben McCusker (aka KRUDE) dropped into the studio and was blown away by the lawless, gritty tones bouncing off the studio walls. Bringing with him a peerless vocal style that flies between sardonic, sarcastic social observation to raw urban prose, the Fatter Faction were formed, proper, December 2003. Their infectious, nihilistic tunes are best described as the musical equivalent of being smashed in the face. A calamity of cross-genre, distinctly British sounding tunes that stops anyone within earshot dead in their tracks. |

Search | Add | 4 | And The Wiremen | And The Wiremen was formed around 2010 at a studio in the middle of swamp just north of New Orleans. New York-based composer Lynn Wright had gathered a group of musicians––among them his then principal collaborator Sparklehorse’s Paul Watson and bassist Tony Maimone (Pere Ubu, etc.) ––to record songs he had written for other singers. Early in the proceedings, the engineer refused to continue working unless Wright sang them himself. He agreed. Between 2010 and early 2016 And The Wiremen recording an eponymous album, the EP Send Me Low, and a single Caged Bird with a multi-generational, genre-crossing gaggle of musicians. When so inclined and their usual musical duties allowed, they would do short tours of the US and Europe, and then disappear from whence they came. In 2016 the band went on hiatus following Watson’s premature retirement from music due to worsening symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Wright went back to composing for dance and film, performing with various free-improvisation and new music ensembles, and released an album with Swan’s guitarist Norman Westberg and former Swans/Foetus bassist Algis Kizys under the moniker This Is Where. The band reconvened at the end of 2019 for series of shows in New York. With their new album Night Cracks Harbor, slated for a fall 2020 release, the on again/off again project becomes a more focused band, helmed by Wright with violinist Simon Goff serving as co-producer and arranger. The nourish jazz tendencies that were prominent on their early recordings are less obvious, and the music falls somewhere between a post-rock iteration of early Roxy Music and the fringes of PJ Harvey’s more recent work. As Always, it is really a sound of their own, no matter how familiar it may seem.

Search | Add | 4 | The Bazillions | The Bazillions are the creation of Twin Cities’ parents/educators/singer-songwriters Adam and Kristin Marshall. Literally from their first day on the job at Kenny School in Minneapolis, the couple was writing songs for and with their students. Before long, the kids knew every word to every song, and parents began asking for a CD. So, along with their indie pop band [a=The Humbugs], the Marshalls recorded and released “Rock-n-Roll Recess,” under the new alter-ego band name “The Bazillions.”

Search | Add | 4 | Dr. Albert Flipout | Mickey Pantelous is a Danish-Greek (based in Greece at the moment) unconventional Blues-Rock / Avant-garde artist born in 1973. After breaking up his band [a=The Chess-mates] in 2007 Mickey decides to go solo due to communication problems with other people. In order not to get too lonely Mickey creates a fictional character “Dr. Albert Flipout” (the tin-can Latin shaker attached to his left foot that works as a snare drum in his one man band project) and names the band after him, “Dr. Albert Flipout’s one CAN* band” . The third "member" of the band is the mysterious Jess on the cymbals. You can see a picture of them all on the back of the album's cover. * CAN: a) A Can, is a metal container in which something such as food, drink, or paint is put. b) You use CAN to indicate that someone has the ability or opportunity to do something.

From the State Opera and the circus to a television and film industry to the media. He accompanied two bands, invented a cultural festival , produced many video clips. And then, after years - purchase of an organ from the 1970's years. It was like a lightning bolt. Boom! That's been a while since. But out there! Is that the Groove?

Search | Add | 4 | Southern Kartel | Southern Kartel is a group from Pine Bluff, AR. It consists of Smoke, Black Trump, K.O. and C-Rupt. As The World Goes Round is their debut album and it was released in 2001 on Black Trump Entertainment. Production on the album is smoothly done by Trump and Ace. The beats are a perfect example of southern fried funk at its finest. They contain various melodies mixed with jamming hooks and solid bass lines. The lyrics are excellent as well. All four members unquestionably shine on the mic. Their rhymes are deeply rooted and certainly eclectic. Guest appearances are made by Hawk of the Screwed Up Click, Playa Fly, Mo-Preme of Thug Life, Ronnie Spencer and Bobby Baller. Overall the record is a representation of timeless quality music. It is highly under rated and it does not get the credit it deserves. The group later separated over creative differences and this ended up being their only album. Members Smoke, Trump and K.O. have also released some solo albums as well
