Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Ihr erstes Studioalbum veröffentlichte Jana Berwig 2016 unter dem Titel “To be where you are”. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Emmanuelle Wrightson | Growing up in a home filled with extraordinary music from the 70s, 80s and 90s, eight-year old Emmanuelle began singing and playing keyboards. From her early teens, Emmanuelle wrote ballads, gigged as a solo artist and played in bands, activities that abruptly stopped for over seven years, during which she studied fine art. It was the isolation, peace and beauty of living in a caravan in the Herefordshire countryside, that saw Emmanuelle’s musical creativity re-emerge. This sojourn resulted in a host of new material, featuring powerful vocal performances, layered harmonies and finely crafted, textured soundscapes. With a collection of unique recordings in place, and many more in development, Emmanuelle made her first release, Sweetness, in late 2024. Emmanuelle’s songwriting process is a creative interplay between words, music and production as she journeys towards locating the sonic home in which the song wants to live. A significant part of this process involves finding the emotional space created by her voice, multi-layered harmonies and often cinematic sound environments. Listeners describe Emmanuelle’s music as deep, etherial, haunting, dreamy and restorative while simultaneously challenging us to encounter bold, new soundscapes. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Братья Покрасс | Pokrass brothers (братья Покрасс) were a duo of Soviet composers Dmitry (1899–1978) and Daniel Pokrass (1905–1954), who composed various popular romances and military songs, including famous marches Red Army Is The Strongest (Красная Армия всех сильней) and Budyonny March (Марш Будённого), as well as the music for numerous feature and documentary films. They were one of the originators of the revolutionary aesthetics in Soviet music, and while critics later saw many of their works as propagandist "poster-songs" and denounced them for blatant obsequiousness to the communist regime, at the time Pokrass tunes were broadly popular all across the Soviet Union. Dmitry and Daniel praised Soviet military leaders and politicians in their songs, namely [a=Joseph Stalin], Kliment Voroshilov, and Semyon Budyonny. In the sixties, some of their songs were censored to remove any mentions of Stalin. Dmitry and Daniel were only two of the four Pokrass siblings active in music. The eldest brother Samuel Pokrass (1897–1939) immigrated to the United States in the end of the twenties and had a fairly successful career as Hollywood and Broadway composer. Sam Pokrass was poisoned in New York in 1939. Arkady Pokrass (1898–196?) was a virtuoso pianist and accompanist for various popular artists, including Natalia Tamara (Mitina-Buynitskaya) and Vadim Kozin. Unlike his more opportunistic brothers, Arkady didn't manage to adapt to the new ideological realities of the Soviet Union. After Kozin was arrested and sent to Kolyma in 1939, Arkady Pokrass abruptly ended his career and not much is known about him ever since. In Soviet musicological literature, the names of Arkady and Samuel were practically erased, so Pokrass brothers were seen as a duo of Dmitry and Daniel. | |

His career continued at least through the 1920s, frequently as an accompanist. He made a small handful of records for the [l=Victor Talking Machine Co.] and recorded numerous piano rolls for Duo-Art. [a=Nathaniel Shilkret], in his autobiography Sixty Years in the Music Business, recalled Schendel as “a fine pianist, but he was a very strange man – almost a mystic. He was emaciated and very nervous.” He and Shilkret (clarinet) were playing in an ensemble, and Schendel proclaimed that as it was Brahms’ birthday, he would only play his music. “We (the ensemble) compromised: We would change some pieces to Brahms compositions, providing he would play some pieces by another composer. Schendel shut his eyes, went into sort of a trance, and finally said, ‘The Master will allow me to play other composers, if you will play four Brahms pieces this session.’ We agreed.”

Das Nelson Konzept was the brainchild and solo project of Mikael Mildén from Norrköping (later Uppsala and Stockholm), Sweden. Songs were often composed and based on a guitar chord sequence or riff, with added home made instruments and simple syntheziser melodies. Later, the sound was more influenced by noise and drifted towards instrumental music. The music was released on German cassette labels Echtzeit, Maljugin Musik and Tonspur Tapes, as well as own released material on the label Gray Crow Cassettes. Das Nelson Konzept only made one live appearance at an appartment in Uppsala 23 April 1999, recorded and released as the cd-r Tal der Ahnungslosen.

Created a style that fused Heavy, Psychedelic, Post-Punk and Prog Rock in a very energetic way. Leadered by Guitar Player Iván Santos, released their Debut Album with special guests as [a1783593] and [a3921234] (1991). Too long after, the Band took a long break before reshaping itself into an instrumental Power-Trio focused on a Progressive Side with elaborating jams based in Space Rock and Psychedelic Formats. To maintain presence in the Independent Phonographic Medium, released their Second Album (2000), a re-edition of the First Album with new tracks (2 live performances). III (2002) show more consistently the essential sound that the band had evolved into with songs as "Volando con Mihalis" and "Luciérnagas Egocéntricas en la Oscuridad'. Unfortunately, the band has not been capable of delivering a consistent line of work because of the marginal conditions that the Peruvian Underground Scene has to endure constantly. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Zender Inc / KGB | Zender | Place of Birth: Amsterdam Country: Netherlands Profession: Freelance Graphic Designer, Illustrator, (Spray)Painter and DJ Company: Zender Industries / Zender inc / KGB Bio: At the age of thirteen I started off as a graffiti artist, getting myself involved in the visual process, but as time passed by I began developing my skills and got numerous commercial, illustration- and paint jobs. In 1999 I spray-painted the Singel Studio (37 x 11 meter) together with a friend I met in the Dutch graffiti scene (Delta). During this same period I got involved in a group exhibition called "Post Graffiti, which helped me gain a lot of public attention. By that time I had my mind set up on learning more about graphic design and at the end of the year I went to Los Angeles, were I worked as a trainee at a small design studio were i learned to work with computers and the graphic design process. Back in Amsterdam The Mazzo Nightclub commissioned me to do a mural in their club, i asked an old friend (Christiaan Dros) to help me out. The exhibition became a success, so we decided to start up our own illustration company and called it: "Zender & Chaos". During this period we produced an enormous amount of illustrations and backdrops for the nightlife scene, painted a coffee shop (the Global Chillage) and their nightclub in Spain. We did as well a lot of illustrations for an art agency called Shop Around until Chris and i went our separate ways and I started working as a freelance artist. At first I did a lot of work as a freelance Graphic designer for Boomerang (a company that produces free postcards) which made me understand how the graphic industry works here in Holland. Today i am back working as a freelance graphic designer and with two other freelance artist we began a little company called KGB (Kreativ grapic buro), working for various clients. I am also represented by Artbox a Creative Art Agency. Next to my graphic job i love to play music as a DJ and organize the Rendez-Vous events with the intention to stimulate creativity.
