Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Hell Is Harmony | Hell is Harmony came to life in 2008. After writing enough material the band started gigging around Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth), always receiving good reviews and gaining a group of faithful followers. In the same year the band recorded a demo called “EAT YOUR VICTIMS” which consisted of four songs (Train, Psycho, Eat your victims, Mechanical puzzle box). The following year the next demo was recorded. It was entitled “I HAVE FIRE IN ME” and another four songs were featured (Hell is harmony, Fairytale, Better than Better, and Toxic kiss). Year 2010 started pretty well – Hell is Harmony supported Lower than Atlantis, after which gig the guys from LTA said that HiH was the best supporting band they had during that tour. 2011 With the new line-up and new energy, the band quickly gained momentum and started gigging, managing to gather quite a crowd at their shows. 2011 was also the year which saw a full album recorded. The album was entitled “Opium” A promo video was recorded for the title song as well and can be watched online. In 2012 the band had a chance to tour Scotland with a legend of Polish dark-goth-rock scene – Closterkeller. A few months later the band went to Poland and played a set at a festival supporting, among others, Decapitated. In October the band was awarded the title of ‘Tattoo Jam 2012 Band of the Year’ by winning Battle of The Bands at Tattoo Jam 2012 in Doncaster. | |

The musical influences from the 80's are mixed with a more modern metal sound inspired by bands like Arch Enemy, Rammstein, Five Finger Death Punch and Amon Amarth. Desmonias songs are typically in a slow tempo with a melodic touch of traditional nordic music combined with bombastic chorus choirs, the sound is made up of a wall of heavy guitars and the rusty leadsong of Paul Holmfrid backed up by Paul Eriksson. In the studio, Desmonia is a duo consisting of Paul Holmfrid and Paul Eriksson, for live appearances additional live musicians are added to the lineup. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ayesha Gough | Australian pianist Ayesha Gough is developing her own style grounded in strong traditional concepts with an inherent interest in the unique and engaging. A strong passion for new music, particularly that of Australian composers, has seen her premiere new works in 2016 and 2017 by Klotz and Yedid, and collaborate with Klotz for the premiere of Midnight Rain in 2018. First prize-winner at the 2015 Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, Ayesha performed with the Russian National Orchestra in December 2018, under the baton of Mikhail Pletnev, as part of a concert held in memory of Lev Vlassenko. She has also performed with the Queensland Symphony, the Queensland Conservatorium Symphony, and the Queensland Pops Orchestras under such conductors as Edvard Tchivzhel, Nicholas Braithwaite, and Daniel Carter. Her recital opportunities have taken her throughout Australia, as well as New Zealand, Italy, Japan, and China. Ayesha studied under Oleg Stepanov for 10 years, both at a pre-tertiary and tertiary level at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. It is this period of study to which she attributes the foundation of her pianistic values, both in terms of the school of piano passed on by her teacher, and the gradual encouragement by other lecturers to explore new mediums. Throughout 2018, she continued study in Italy with Boris Petrushansky at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale "Incontri col Maestro". This year she will begin a Masters degree at the Royal College of Music, London. She has been awarded the Theme and Variations Foundation Award, the Brisbane Club Award, the QCGU Postgraduate Prize, the Joyce Campbell Lloyd scholarship, the Allison/Henderson scholarship, and in early 2017 she participated in the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy. Ayesha has been supported by Variety, the Children’s Charity, of which she is an International Ambassador. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Giuseppe Casciaro | Giuseppe Casciaro (March 9, 1861 in Ortelle, Province of Lecce, Region of Apulia – October 25, 1941 in Naples) was an Italian painter, active mainly in Naples. Orphaned at the age of twelve, he was raised by a paternal uncle, a priest. He was schooled in lyceum gymansium of Maglie, where his uncle hoped he would start studies towards a career in medicine. However, there he was first instructed in art by Paolo Emilio Stasi, who aided him in enrolling in the Neapolitan Academy of Fine Arts under Morelli and Palizzi. His uncle initially thought Giuseppe was in Naples attending the university, and upon learning of his deception, ceased his support of the young man. At the Academy, Francesco Paolo Michetti, from whom he learned to paint landscapes in pastels. Much of his life was painting landscapes of the shoreline and of his native Ortelle. At the end of the century, he travelled to Paris, where he met Giuseppe De Nittis and his circle. He gained a nomination to be professor at the Institute of Fine Arts of Urbino. He often visited and tutored members of the Royal House of Savoy about pastel painting. His works were exhibited throughout Europe and Argentina. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | 樋口對山 | Higuchi Taizan | Higuchi Taizan (1856-1914) was from Nagoya, a city in between Tokyo and Kyoto, and started his shakuhachi career under Kanetomo Seien, the founder of Seien Ryu. He later studied Kinko Ryu under its Grandmaster, Araki Chikuo, and Ikkan Ryu (effectively a branch of Kinko Ryu) under Takigawa Chuka. He incorporated Seien Ryu and Kinko Ryu honkyoku learned from these teachers into his repertoire which formed its basis. He also added several other pieces to his repertoire, though exactly whom he studied them from remains unclear. When Taizan moved from Nagoya to Kyoto he started his own school, and eventually instigated the revival of the Myoan temple, Myoanji. This was the Fuke temple which had served as the Kansai region’s head Fuke temple until its destruction in the Buddhist persecution during first years of the Meiji period. The revival movement found a suitable temple for their new location and adopting the name Myoanji from the original temple. Although this was not a revival of the Fuke sect (which had been entirely abolished by the Meiji government), this new temple served as a base for honkyoku activities in the Kyoto area. He was teacher of [a8260444] and [a8260450] |

| Search | Add | 2 | Bully Hay | Jonathon Coleman | Sixth-generation Tasmanian musician and singer-songwriter Jonathon Coleman is preparing to release the debut album by his musical alter ego, Bully Hay. Set for release in 2024, Black Dogs and Songbirds features 11 original tracks written and arranged by Coleman before being produced, recorded and mixed by Jeff Martin from acclaimed Canadian rock trio The Tea Party. “What Jonno has accomplished – which is very rare – is that he can go from tender ballads in the style of Jeff Buckley, to country rock which reminds the listener of vintage Eagles, to these epic rock opuses,” – Jeff Martin A self-taught musician (guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, Irish bouzouki and harmonica), Bully Hay has been writing and performing music since he was a teenager, playing solo and amongst various bands, including a family band (The Colemans) alongside his brother Christopher Coleman, John (Father) and sister Susannah. In late 2022 Coleman was introduced to one of his musical idols – Jeff Martin, the frontman of Canadian rock band The Tea Party, who offered to produce, record and perform on Bully Hay’s debut album. “As a producer it’s an incredible experience when you’re working with a singer and don’t have to use any of those evils like Autotune because the guy has perfect pitch every single time. And harmonies he comes up with … I couldn’t even do that!” Martin says. He has toured the East Coast of Australia and performed at events including the Festival of Voices, the Taste of Tasmania and Mona Foma, and supported the likes of Monique Brumby, Dead Letter Circus, Ash Grunwald and The Wolfe Brothers. However, with a young family and business commitments, Coleman had to put music on the backburner for a while. Now he’s back, having matured as a musician and found his own true sound as Bully Hay – the name is a tribute to his great-uncle, who was one of the Rats of Tobruk in World War II. Mastered by Grammy nominated Joe Carra at Crystal Mastering (Teskey Brothers 2020 Grammy Awards – Best Engineered Album); The diverse songs on Black Dogs and Songbirds are firmly anchored in the Tasmanian landscape and sensibility, with a unifying lyrical thread that reflects Coleman’s deep love of the state’s coastal areas, particularly the south-east. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sapphire Adizes | Sapphire Adizes | Sapphire Adizes is a saxophonist, producer, and singer-songwriter who draws on his background in classical and jazz to create symphonic electronic tracks rich with experimental textures, ethereal vocals, and powerful sax and piano performances. From writing his first sonata at five to composing his first symphony at seventeen, from performing with his jazz quartet at the Lincoln Center Atrium at eighteen to joining the Chainsmokers in their studio and working with Berhana to produce and co-write an EP with nearly one hundred million streams at twenty, Adizes has proved himself to be a diverse and subversive artist worth watching. Adizes works in the genre of “present music,” a term he coined to describe the dynamic production that lives at the intersection of institutionalized and non-institutionalized music. Adizes also founded The Avocado Orchard, a recording studio and creative space dedicated to exploring the margins of pop and classical music in the small beach town of Carpinteria, California. Adizes also premiered The Wild Boar, an immersive experience with orchestra choir, electronic music, and recordings from his life at the Kotor Arts Festival in Montenegro on July 17th, 2019. |
