Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Lucky Number Seven | Ska/Skate Punk band from Ontario Canada From their website "The original line up consisted of Ryan Lane on vocals, Chad Patch on guitar, Brent Seeley on bass and Matt Brett on drums. Matt and Chad were going to the same highschool and frequently headed back to the spot to work on new tunes during spares and such. After about two months of constant practicing Lucky Number Seven starting showcasing their new found love by having parties and playing in front of their friends. In early October of '97 the boys played their first show at the Chameleon Cafe in Ajax with friends at the time....Lame. A few short months after, Lucky Number Seven decided to try adding a sax player to the band. Chris Hill of Whitby's Out Of Hand joined and within' a couple weeks, started playing shows. In April of '98 Lucky Number Seven headed into a downtown Toronto recoding studio to record a three song demo with their new sax player. Although never released, and even though the dat tape was ruined, there are still a couple copies of this around. One of the songs, 'All Your Fault' appeared at the end of their first full length 'Wasted Times'. June 13th 1998. A date that changed Lucky Number Seven forever. That was the last show that Chad & Chris played with Lucky Number Seven. Chad left due to personal problems and differences within the band. Chris went on tour and didn't call when he got back. After cancelling two shows at the beginning of July. Lucky Number Seven acquired a new (and their current) guitarist by the name of Chuck Coles. Chuck definitely played a different style of ska than that of which Ryan, Brent and Matt were used to. But after writing their first song with Chuck; 'My Best Friend', they all agreed that this change was for the best. So they all headed back into the jam spot for a straight 3 week stretch of constant writing and learning on Chuck's part. Chuck's debut came on July 22nd at the Dungeon in Oshawa. Another show that they will always remember. That show was probably the roughest show ever played by Lucky Number Seven. Not taking this too lightly, they all agreed to head back into another 3 weeks of practice before emerging onto the stage in August of '98 as the new completely refurbished Lucky Number Seven. The first road trip followed closely to Chuck's debut. In mid August of '98 Lucky Number Seven took a weekend to explore some of the more northern regions of Ontario. Meeting up with Burlington's Gym Class Joke that weekend was a time to remember. They all met on the Friday and by Saturday were good friends! April '99 Lucky Number Seven returned to the studio to record under Simon Head, for their first full length album. In a very short two days they had finished all tracks for the new disc. While the cash flow ran low......the album was postponed until late October of the same year. When 'Wasted Times' finally did come out, it appeared that the fans had been dieing to hear it. Selling over 200 units in the first couple days without even playing a release party. The formal hometown release took place on November 12th 1999 at the Dungeon in Oshawa. With tons of new songs and nothing to sell, LNS turned to a friend to record them a new demo. Good friend Onur Altinbilek rented a pile of awesome equipment and setup in their jam spot to record 7 brand new tracks! After a couple weeks of consideration, Lucky Number Seven decided to release the new demo exclusively on their website! While only 6 of the 7 songs made it on the site, it still proved to be worth while for the fans with more than 300 people downloading the album in the first week. January of '01 LNS decided it's about time to get some merchandise made! Coming up with two new logos, they used both in the design of their new t-shirts and hoodies. For the first time, LNS fans had something to wear home from the show! Spring of 2001 proved to be a good season for writing! It seemed that every rehearsal would bring a new song. As they anticipate their next release, LNS plans to put out 16-18 songs for their second full length album! Plans to demo a few songs are in talks, and will probably be underway in July of '01. Check back for downloads of the new demo'd songs some time this summer!" My guess is the disbanded at some point in the summer of '02 Chad Patch/Guitar - 1997 - 1998 Chris Hill/Saxophone - 1997 - 1998 Matt Brett/Drums - 1997 - 2002 Ryan Lane/Vocals - 1997 - 2002 Brent Steely/Bass - 1997 - 2002 Chuck Coles/Guitar - 1998 - 2002 | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Martha Catalina | Catalina Palacios | With the Aguascalientes singer Martha Catalina we are going to listen to the songs "Black Tears", by Miguel Matamoros and "Ni por favor", by Rubén Fuentes and Alberto Cervantes. Martha Catalina was a bolerista who recorded several albums mainly in the early fifties. Unfortunately, there is little biographical data of this singer that, according to Pablo Dueñas, in his book of boleros, was much loved by the northern audiences. Apparently her first name was Catalina Palacios. Martha Catalina's style had a touch of drag in her way of performing her songs. Some say that the style of interpreting this singer included a stamp impregnated with eroticism. He began his career at the XEB radio station, La Buen Tono station, in the early 1950s; later he was an artist of the XEW, The Voice of Latin America from Mexico, in the midday programs. Most of his 78 rpm discs made them for the Columbia label. One of his greatest successes was the bolero “Vacío”, by composer José de Jesús Morales. Other boleros he recorded were "Mazatlan Nights", "Nonsense", "I lost your love", "Compassion", "Answer to sea and sky", "Partic Heart", "Black flowers", "Badly reciprocated", and others plus. Martha Catalina passed away in the mid-eighties. Also appears as Marta Catalina. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Abston | Anthony | – ENG – Based in Lausanne in Switzerland, Anthony a.k.a Abston is above all a real music lover who has his entire life dedicated to music. At a very young age, he discovered Funk and Disco music with his father who was a Disc-Jockey and a Club founder. He then developed a limitless musical curiosity and a passion for records digging. Throughout the years, he will create a massive record collection and will get a very strong and impressive musical culture. He started logically to produce his own music in 2009 and signed on labels like Monique Musique, Conceptual Record or Midnight Social Recordings. It’s in 2021 that he started his own label called Amphase Records dedicated only to Vinyl releases. His career on stage started a bit later in 2011 as a resident DJ in a Club. He then got in touch with big stages after his encounter with Franck Fricker and played festivals like Les Jeudis Electro or Rivages Electroniques. However, he was never far from Clubs, and played in Germany, in France and of course in Switzerland like at Folklor in Lausanne or at Audio Club in Geneva. All these years of great encounters, contact with the crowd, huge love for music and a perpetual and deep sound research will allow Abston to create a musical world that belongs to him. His music invites to travel, enriched by years of hard work and passion. A travel where genres, ages and cultures are mixed and sublimed. Finally, Abston with his music gives a soul to the heart, wings to the brain and rhythm to the body. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ruby Bullet | The NYC-based duo of Suzanne Sterne and Pete Vassil blends metal, prog rock, punk and pop with astounding proficiency to create their unique, bedlam-meets-beauty sound. It is controlled chaos at its finest and the reviews follow a basic form: “I've never heard anything like it. It makes me want to hear more”. Inspired by extremes, Ruby Bullet songs are intelligently rebellious. “You'll either want to make out or break something,” quips Vassil, whose bombastic, imaginative drumming heightens the complex prog-punk riffage spit out by Sterne's thrashy guitars and riotous bass lines. Add her enchanting vocal with its cryptic, hook-laden tales of passion and death and the result is an alluring marriage of misdirection and melody. The band's own turbulent dynamic allows this precarious balance to fester. “We have a very obvious love/hate relationship,” muses Sterne, who was Vassil's next door neighbor for several years before the duo met face to face in 2000. Since then the two have been nearly inseparable, “although not necessarily by choice,” she adds. Armed with their self-released 2007 debut “Nothing Left to Bleed On”, recorded with Grammy winner Jason Corsaro (Motorhead, Soundgarden), Ruby Bullet has been storming the NYC music scene. Fans know to expect an intense show with varying line-ups, sometimes with Sterne performing guitar, bass and vocals all at once. With a unique combination of talent, creativity and passion, the duo draws comparisons to music mainstays ranging from Tool and Kate Bush to Rush, Lacuna Coil and Evanescence. Would-be critics looking for a direct influence are hard pressed to find one – their juxtaposition of influences catapults them an entirely new genre. | |

After being nourished by other people's music, the desire to produce his own music sprung quite naturally along the way. The plurality of these universes offers the promises of a music which is rich, open, and free from any codes or genre. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Městský Dechový Orchestr Cheb | The Youth wind orchestra of the music school of Jindrich Jindrich in Cheb was established in the year 1958 by the conductor Václav Kucera. First the orchestra had had only 12 members but then it spread to the group of 60 - 80 members. The main merit on it had the first conductor of the orchestra Václav Kucera. The level was growing and early there was first success. The orchestra took part in many actions in the town but there were also paid many tributes to it in competitions in the whole country. In the year 1965 the orchestra took its first trip to a foreign country. Many exhibitions abroad followed then and the height was taking part in the festival in Norway in the year 1967. And just these qualities of the orchestra were the biggest reason for the origin of the festival FIJO Cheb. Václav Kucera and Jindrich Pravecek where among those who gave rise to this festival. When I have to name all countries which the orchestra have visited till this time I can not forget Austria, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, France, Switzerland USSR, Canada, Malaysia, China, etc. The orchestra achieved very big success in festival in Dijon, where it acquired the second place in the cathegory of adults, then in the festival in Haag, where it won the first prize. It recorded for Autria's televison and wireless and for the state's wireless in Norway. In competitons of the wind orchestras in Czechoslovakia it acquired the first place many times. In the year 1977 Mr. Kucera finished his activities in the orchestra and Mr. Novotný succeeded him. There were still very good results under his leading. Mr. Novotný finished his activity in the orchestra in the year 1989 and then after a 2-year-long pause when there was Mr. Eichler as the conductor, he came back and led the orchestra till 1994. In September 1994 the baton was undertaken by Mr. Smitek (graduate of the army conservatory and one of members of the orchestra in the past). Since the orchestra won a lot of competitions, the greatist was in 1999 three first place (concert, march and show contest), 2000 first place in show in Canada, in 2001 first place in Germany, in 2003 first place in Italy, silver sector in 2011 in Malaysia and gold sector in 2017 in USA. We are the only members of Czech of the World Asociation of Marching and Show Bands | |

"Foi uma aposta da Disconorte, mas a maioria das editoras não está interessada em hip hop, ainda para mais se for cantado em crioulo." Actualmente, Djoek tem um estúdio próprio, onde ajuda outros músicos a gravar as suas canções. Também tem um outro álbum preparado. "Quero ser homem de show, fazer do hip hop a minha vida." Falta-lhe uma editora que o suporte. (Revista Visão) |

| Search | Add | 2 | Texas High Life | "When you go to a Texas High Life show for the first time, be ready to become addicted. The strong sounds and powerful song writing will leave you wanting more. Texas High Life got their start two years ago, when Mitch McBain (rhythm acoustic guitar) met Blake Myers (lead Vocals - Harmonica) at a local party in Cypress, Texas. The first time they met turned into a musical event. McBain had a guitar and was strumming it when Blake sat down, introduced himself, and asked, "do you know any Texas Country”, in which McBain replied, “I know Nightmare”, and the playing was on. For the next year and a half McBain and Myers would continue to collaborate on their music and songwriting. In April 2003, The Band was offered funding after an improv performance at a private party in Houston, thanks to the band that let us jam on their stage while they were on a break). Twenty minutes after their performance, they had a producer, and the band Texas High Life was born. Members were added from long friendship while living in Wimberley, Cypress and College Station Texas. Keith Binder on Drums - his brother Kevin on bass and Cory Pendleton -a good friend from the Hill Country, on electric guitar. Ever since their start, they have been rock’n venues around the Houston area; opening for the likes of Honeybrowne and Bleu Edmondson. Their distinct sound has influence from the previous two artists, along with Cory Morrow, Reckless Kelly, Mark Davis Manders, Willie Nelsen, Waylon Jennings and other Texas greats." | |
