Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Alessandro Magini | Alessandro Magini | Alessandro Magini was born in 1955 in Vernio (in theTuscan Apennines, near Florence). He studied piano and organ in Florence under the guidance of Robert Pichini and attended the masterclasses of Paul von Schilhawsky (Director Emeritus of the Salzburg Mozarteum) on piano performance practice in the lieder repertoire. Alessandro Magini graduated with honors in Musical Dramaturgy from the University of Bologna under the direction of Lorenzo Bianconi and Thomas Walker and in composition from the Conservatory of Bologna with Alessandro Solbiati. Subsequently he graduated with honors the Advanced Course in Composition of the International Music Academy of Novara. He also attended master classes and seminars with F. Donatoni, A. Clementi, G. Petrassi, N. Castiglioni, G. Manzoni, G. Ligeti, L. Berio. He has given a great number of concerts as a piano accompanist as well as an organist. As a composer and researcher Alessandro Magini focuses on the relationship between music and experimental theater. In 1999 he obtained the chair of Musical Dramaturgy and Musicology at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Rome (where he has been teaching since then) and intensified his activities in music composition for theater (collaborating with directors such as Josè Sanchez Sinisterra, Piotr Fomenko, Marcello Bartoli as weel as with the Teatro Metastasio Stabile of Tuscany, Laboratory Riuniti, Rome). In 2000 he was appointed to the executive council of the “National Committee for the Celebration of the Fourth Centenary of the Birth of the Opera” set up by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, in collaboration with the Teatro Comunale of Florence, Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Florence, the Teatro La Pergola . In 2003 he was appointed artistic coordinator of the Centre Magnolfinuovo Prato (training and production in the field of contemporary musical drama). He also is director of the Centro Bardi, dedicated to studies on experimental music in the Florentine Renaissance (Camerata dei Bardi). The interest in the “sound of the word” connotes some of his studies, published in journals. Many of his compositions have been performed in particulary significant places for the humanism, such as the National Central Library of Florence, Florence Marucelliana Library, Accademia della Crusca (Academy of Bran), Library Casanatense Rome, National Library of Vienna, Opera di Santa Croce in Florence. Alessandro Magini has composed several melologues for Chamber Theatre. Recently he collaborated with the philosopher Sergio Givone for a musical version (cello, guitar and narrator) of the novel “In nome di un Dio barbaro” (Ed. Einaudi). In the last years he has been dedicating a series of compositions to the accordion, solo and in duo with various instruments (cello, organ, guitar, flute, piano, oboe, mandolin, collaborating with I. Battiston, F. Gesualdi, D. Bellugi, F. Dillon, M. Barrera, L. Attademo, S. Malferrari, A. Avital, L. Bagnoli). The accordion is also present in his last two works: “Le storie di San SIlvestro. Una sacra rappresentazione” (mezzo-soprano, narrator, accordion duo) for the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence and” Naviglio-fantasma” (baritone, accordion, oboe) for the exhibition “Futurism in Calabrian music” at the University of Calabria. He is member of the Italian Academy of Cinema for the David di Donatello Awards. His works are published by Edizioni Musicali Berben and, in digital, by EMA Vinci records |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lauren Hooker | Lauren is from Teaneck, NJ. In her bio it is written that Lauren "was born into music ... as early as in the womb (kicking to the beat - my mother tells me)... hearing my dad jam with his fellow musicians in the basement ... starting piano lessons at age four ... meeting Bill Evans at the Vanguard whom my father recorded with in college ... being exposed to and singing most of the major classical oratorios with full orchestra ...shaking hands with Duke Ellington and Dave Brubeck ...reaching for Sarah Vaughan's range, Ella's scat, Miles Davis' tone and Coltrane's intention. Lauren's talents were recognized and encouraged early in life and allowed her to develop her skills. Her critically acclaimed debut CD produced by Rufus Reid and Allen Farnham entitled: "Right Where I Belong" was released in May of 2007, with Rufus Reid on the bass, Allen Farnham on piano and Tim Horner on drums and percussion. In 2010, Lauren released "Life of the Music", which was described as both "ambitious and eclectic" with "American Songbook" standards, and several of her original songs. Lauren has been featured and can be heard in many major venues in the New York metropolitan area. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | En Busca Del Tiempo Perdido | Chilean rock & pop band. Formed 1971 in Santiago, they split 1973, and some of their members went to form the short life band [a=Los Monstruos (2)]. They planted 1973 to release a rock opera, called "El Señor Ninguno Cualquiera”, incluiding allong their already published singles (Ya Es Tiempo / Ya Es Tiempo; Amanecer / Escuchame) other songs, as the coup d´etat in their country came, cutting all their plans out, what would later guide to the dissolution of the band itself. Sadly, all the tapes of this future album (what they began to record 1972, and was actually thought to be their first LP) went gone, as the state label [l=IRT (2)] was take over, and destroyed most of the master tapes of the artist under this label. Members were: - [a=Soledad Domínguez]: vocals (1971 – 1973). - Alejandro Valenzuela: bass and vocals (1971 – 1973). - Jorge Arcaya: guitar (1971 – 1973). - Alfredo Bravo: drums (1971 – 1973). | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Graeme Williamson | The late Canadian/Scottish singer, songwriter, published poet and author Graeme Williamson, was the voice and writer of the eclectic, whimsical and socio-political Pukka Orchestra, one of Canada's alternative indie darlings of the 1980's/90's 'Queen Street Scene'. In 1984 the Pukkas released their self-titled, critically acclaimed debut which included their national radio hit "Listen To The Radio" and fan favourites "Cherry Beach Express" and "Might As Well Be On Mars" - later covered by British group The Strawbs, both cowritten by Graeme. The Pukkas won the 1985 U-Know/CASBY Award as "Most Promising Group". Shortly after, while on holiday in Scotland, Graeme was diagnosed with kidney disease, underwent a transplant there but returned to Toronto so the Pukkas could record 1987's indie release Palace of Memory. In 1992 they released their final album Dear Harry. Graeme, facing more health issues, subsequently left for Scotland permanently in the early 1990s. Up until his death in June 2020, Graeme continued writing/recording new songs, many featured on this his posthumous 2022 solo album "Because You Were There". Neil Chapman (Buffy Ste. Marie/Leonard Cohen), the co-founder of the Pukka Orchestra with Graeme, took over the producer reins and spent 2020 and 2021 finishing the album. | |

Was known for a short time as The Glade Vanvidd (The Happy Frenzy) before they changed the name. Band consisted by Ronald Martin Grønås (Guitar/vocals), Kjell Nilsen (Bass), Halvard Bech (Keyboard) and Roger Lauritzen(Drums). This was the original lineup, of which managed to record one album and a single before they broke up. There where 3 additional drummers that was part of the band. -Sava Balic (Who only recorded on the single release) -Rune Akselsen (died in 2007) -Tor Arnold Johansen The band was never properly established, and after 1985, there was a constant changing lineup and the band never had any direction and faded off into history. But the band (or at least the name) survived and still exist to this day with ever-changing line-ups and doing some one-off shows locally now and then, even though none of the original members are with the band anymore. Grønås died in a fire in 1991. Akselsen went on to record with [a=Unit Five] and passed away in 2007. Tor Arnold Johansen also passed away. | |
