Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 11 | Tex Fletcher | Tex Fletcher was a American singing cowboy, Broadway and movie actor, night club performer, and radio and television personality from the USA. Fletcher was born Geremino Bisceglia in 1910 in Harrison, New York to Italian immigrants. He left home in 1924 at age 15, and joined the Sells Floto Circus which traveled across the US and Canada before settling in South Dakota where he learned to handle horse and cattle while soaking up cowboy lore and campfire songs. He returned to New York in the early 1930s and took a radio job as a singing cowboy on WFAS in White Plains, New York. In 1934, he landed the role of cowboy answer man on WOR, New Jersey, at the height of the singing cowboy craze, replacing close friend and cowboy star, Tex Ritter (he remained with WOR for more than 20 years, going off the air in 1957). He appeared on stage, film and television during this time. In 1960, Tex opened a bar and restaurant in Rockerville, South Dakota and continued to perform on radio and in live performances. Fletcher penned the cowboy songs, "The Lord is In The Saddle Tonight," "Tiperary (The Great Outlaw Horse)", "My Harding County Home," as well as the closing theme to CBS television's The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok, and others. His songs were covered by Gene Autry, Ernest Tubb, Lawrence Welk, bluesman Magic Slim, blues duo Pistol Pete and Ron Hytower, and modern day cowboy–folklorist Glenn Ohrlin. He passed away in 1987. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Pedro G. Marques | Pedro G. Marques developed a deep interest in music from an early age, beginning piano lessons at the age of eight. He later studied at the Vila Real Music Academy and subsequently attended the Porto Jazz School. During his teenage years, Pedro was heavily immersed in Metal, but his musical horizons soon broadened to encompass a wide spectrum of genres, ranging from Post-Punk to Easy Listening, Electronica to Jazz, and Classical to Industrial music. Around 1989, he co-founded Huska (also known as Hüska Burra Mamô), a Goth/Punk/Alternative band from Vila Real, where he served as lead singer. The band remained active until around 1996. In 2003, Marques began developing a solo project that would become Dead by Request. Initially influenced by ambient and experimental artists such as Coil, The Legendary Pink Dots, Klaus Schulze, and Pete Namlook, the project gradually evolved towards a more synthpop and electro-rock oriented sound, drawing comparisons with artists like Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, Clan of Xymox, and Lou Champagne System. Alongside this work, he composed several soundtracks for visual and photographic installations. In 2015, Marques formed If I Die, a project that released four singles the same year before coming to an end. He currently records and releases music under the name Songs From Hidden Places. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | The "JFK" Quintet | In early 1960, Cannonball Adderley discovered five musicians in Washington, D.C.—the J.F.K. Quintet, named in honor of the newly elected John F. Kennedy and his ambition to change the status quo nationwide for blacks and the arts. In July 1961, six months after the inauguration, Adderley brought the group to New York's Plaza Sound Studios and produced their first Riverside album. The J.F.K. Quintet was comprised of Ray Codrington (tp), Andrew White (as), Harry Killgo (p), Walter Booker, Jr. (b) and Carl "Mickey' Newman (d). The result was the J.F.K. Quintet: New Jazz Frontiers From Washington. A second album was recorded in December '61 entitled Young Ideas The band dissolved in 1963, with White moving on to become a primary transcriber of John Coltrane's solos, Codrington recorded with Eddie Harris, and Booker became Adderley's bassist. White, who's still on the scene today, played alto and tenor saxophones with incredible energy, plus electric bass with the Fifth Dimension and Stevie Wonder, and classical oboe (which he holds at the top of this post). Once a year in Washington, D.C., he would book two rhythm sections and play a 12-hour jazz quartet gig at a club called the Top O' Foolery. And Harry Killgo was the father of Keith Killgo, the drummer with Donald Byrd and the Blackbyrds. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | takahiro.fks | He is a Japanese electronic music artist who began working around 2022 with a foundation in Dariacore and Hyperflip. Exploring a wide range of styles, he develops a richly diverse musical expression. His sound carries a certain sense of melancholy, at times overflowing with destructive emotion, creating a uniquely evocative atmosphere. Ranging from lyrical compositions to pieces charged with furious anger, his work is influenced by plunderphonics and sound collage, and is distinguished by refined sampling techniques. He drew major attention with the album Ten Nights' Dreams, released on Lost Frog Productions, a label well-known in the breakcore and experimental scenes. The album employs dense, chaotic sampling rooted in Dariacore and Mashcore, resulting in a work that is energetic and passionate while also infused with sentiment and bittersweetness. It played a significant role in fueling the rise of Dariacore and Hyperflip’s popularity in Japan. His music clearly reflects the influence of Dariacore artists such as Leroy, yet he digests these inspirations and elevates them into his own distinctive form of expression. In a genre where many artists tend to be short-lived, he continues to produce actively, constantly seeking new possibilities and pushing beyond the boundaries of genre. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Тибетски Сърца | Tibetan hearts are influential Bulgarian electronic music group, which according to some initiated the beginning of electronic music in Bulgaria. The musical group was established in 1991 in Sofia having five members, influenced by new wave style. Later on they elaborated their proper electronic dance music style that would become later known as Tech-Trance, characteristic mostly for the Bulgarian early electronic movement. A year later in 1992, brass-section joined the band and they started experimenting within the music style fusion. In 1993, two of the members - Peter Dundakov and Nikolay Madjarov, aka Faicheto decided to concentrate their creative efforts on electronic music but didn’t change the name of the formation – Tibetski Sartsa. They started working as sound engineers in the Gencho Stoev recording studio and shortly afterwards their first single was produced. It was called after the name of the formation, Tibetski Sartsa, and consisted of three compositions with total time 25 min: `The Age of Tea`, `Hearts of Tibet` and `Twist-a-Polka`. Very soon afterwards `Twist-a-polka` was filmed in a video. The release of the debut single was noticed by the specialized media and the duo was nominated for the Annual Music Awards of Rhythm magazine in four categories - Debut of the year, Single of the year, Video and Producer of the year. In the period 1994 -1998, Tibetski Sartsa were focused on their studio work, thus establishing themselves as one of the best studio teams in Bulgaria. Under the mark `Made by Tibetski Sartsa` appeared theatrical music, the soundtrack for the ballet show `Faust` and many others. 1997 was marked with the appearing of the name Tibetski Sartsa on the Bulgarian dance stage. They created a large number of songs for famous Bulgarian artists, such were the music for Marius' album Love War, remixes of Irina Florin's songs, the sound finish of Avenue's album Labyrinth, etc. In mid-1998, Tibetski Sartsa started working on their debut album `PsychoKinetic` which was released on May 29, 1999. The specialized media acclaimed the album with great positive reviews and Rhythm music magazine put Tibetski Sartsa on the cover of their June issue. `PsychoKinetik` was called the `Bulgarian techno sensation of the year`. It has been sold in more than 6000 copies so far. The participation of Tibetski Sartsa alongside with international techno stars like Josh Wink, Sven Vath, Takyu Ishino etc., in the Metropolis techno parties, brought them popularity abroad. Additional proof for their musical talent was a participation in a techno parade in Paris. It took place in autumn of 1999. As a consequence Tibetski Sartsa received international recognition. The duet faced up the new Millennium with compilation of compositions, they have made since 1991. `91:01` was a retrospective project of Tibetski Sartsa and showed the progress of the electronic music in Bulgaria during the decade, including experimental pieces such as their first single, the theatrical and ballet soundtracks. `91:01` was manufactured in only 500 copies with unique design - hand-made booklet, a real collector's provocation. The album was released for distributing only through the AveNew Productions' site. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Miles Hunt's Lock Down Demo Society | A collection of songs written, demoed and recorded during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic lockdown featuring material worked on by Miles Hunt, Luke Johnson and Morgan Nicholls. Miles Hunt stated "Initially I had only started to write and demo songs for a future Vent 414 record. However the band’s mighty powerhouse of a drummer, Pete Howard, is currently unable to record or program drums at his home, which led me to seek the help of Luke Johnson. Luke and I have known each other now for thirty-five years, him being the son of The Wonder Stuff’s first manager, Les Johnson. He is a truly remarkable drummer and has enjoyed an international career behind the kit with a variety of rockin’ bands. He is also something of a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. When not out on the road he is often to be found beavering away creating his own music in his home studio. As luck would have it at the time of my asking Luke to program drums for the new Vent 414 songs he was also sitting on a bunch of instrumental tracks that needed vocals adding to them. I offered my services to write lyrics, find the vocal melodies and add my nasal whine to his tracks. He accepted. So what you will find here are two separate streams of songwriting; the songs that I initiate for the future V414 record and the songs that Luke and I have worked on together for an, as yet, unspecified project." | |

| Search | Add | 11 | WETLOOK | WETLOOK is a Vienna-based band with roots in Stockholm, Sweden, blending the futuristic aesthetics of sci-fi and cyberpunk with a gritty, 90's indie rock vibe. Influenced by iconic acts like Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Hives, and Viagra Boys, WETLOOK crafted its unique Space Indie-Rock sound. Heavy, dirty guitar riffs merge with classical instruments, creating an atmospheric experience that’s equal parts dystopian and energetic. Their work is also shaped by retro-futuristic architecture and the proximity to former communist countries, reflecting a world both familiar and otherworldly. WETLOOK's mission is to inspire others to forge their own path, setting something free with each track they write. The Frame is their first Mars Alliance release, first single of the Mannequin Dance EP, coming up in 2025 | |
| Search | Add | 11 | Target Shoppers | Stoke-On-Trent noise rock trio. The music covers many genres and is really quite difficult to pigeonhole. Songs were often extremely short, one is a second long. The only instruments are guitar, bass and drums, with the three members swapping instruments on each track. A big feature is the use of absurd and grotesque lyrics, all written by Marky Loo Loo, mostly when he was a teenager. Aside from many tape cassettes and their split 7" with Melt-Banana, their only full length vinyl album was bankrolled and distributed by West Yorkshire experimental music and alcohol fanzine Just Glittering (the precursor to Idwal Fisher). After being on hold since 2001, the band came back together in 2011 and started work on a new album. | |
