Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Because their new album convinces with varied songs driven by different emotions with an unmistakable and independent signature to each song. _______________ Unperfekt, ehrlich, unangepasst: Die Alternative-Metal / Punk-Band Stroking Breeze macht mit ihrem "melo-brachialen" Sound keine Musik für die Massen. Born in 1910, he began his musical journey as a self-taught musician, with his first performance in the Pit Orchestra of the Tampa Theatre at the age of 17. In 1930, he moved to Miami, where he became an integral part of the local music scene. Over the years, he played at various iconic venues, including the Olympia Theatre (now the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts), Flagler Gardens, Biscayne Dog Track, and numerous Miami Beach hotels. After the band's breakup in 1960, he continued to perform, collaborating with prominent bandleaders like Ted Lewis, Dick Stabile (for the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis Television Show), and Skitch Henderson (on Steve Allen's Tonight Show). In 1968, Goodson embarked on a fruitful musical partnership with trumpeter Don Goldie. They played together at jazz festivals across the country, recorded eight albums, and their collaboration lasted until 1992. Ernie Goodson's music was not just about skill; he had a unique way of connecting with people. Described as "witty and charming" by his daughter Teresa Matthews, his warm and engaging personality left a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of meeting him. Beyond his musical prowess, Goodson had a way of making people feel good and radiated positivity. Throughout his life, Ernie Goodson left an indelible mark on the world of Dixieland jazz, enriching the genre with his talent, versatility, and a knack for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere through his music and personality.

He was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Campolindo High School ('04) and Berklee College of Music ('08). He lived in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and Oakland. A polymath and synesthete who spoke the language of many instruments and accompanied them with his incredible vocals, Evan composed, performed, and produced seven albums: The Space Cadet Shipwreck and Tree Party (under the name Ansel), followed by The Sweeps (an EP under the name Shabby-Genteel) and then The Splits, Wantless, Mope's Catacomb, and Everything Ephemeral (all under the name Evan Clayburn). He completed his final album just two months before he passed. The haunting tracks "Serene" and "Sweep" from that album speak to the isolation of cancer and the loveliness of life. He was a beautiful soul who lived for art. His sister, parents, and the many people who loved him will always remember his harmonies. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dee Dee Sea | Travis Sehorn | Dee Dee Sea crept from the bedroom to the underground scene of Montana as a youth quickly gaining a devoted following. Soon Dee Dee was opening gigs for folks like Magnolia Electric Co., Bill Callahan, Califone, C.J. Boyd, LAKE, Karl Blau, Your Heart Breaks, Jason Webley, Typhoon, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down and many others. After many years of touring with the Missoula Oblongata, a punk theater group and years abroad as an artistic international party boy, Dee Dee sunk into the swamp of New Orleans. No one heard anything for awhile... Now Dee Dee Sea has been tracked down in the woods of Maine in a homemade timber framed studio completely off the grid. The new album, I Saw the Awful Light In the Shadows of Joy is the first offering from the outsider multi-instrumentalist. Recorded entirely with sun power, all alone, this album reeks of slowness, of sand in the sheets, of lusty hangovers, of release and of looking back through the bottom of the wine bottle drank on the beaches of the world. The desperate pleasures told within weave in and out of consciousness and somehow drift up river to the mountains peak and sink deep into the earth... |

| Search | Add | 3 | Werbeniuk | Werbeniuk are a band from Teesside in the North-East of England. Not easily pigeon-holed, their "Teesside World Music" combines percussion, electronics and catchy vocals with a political conscience and a strong sense of fun. Formed in March 2010, as a three-piece comprising [a1457477], [a1471096] and [a3876883], the line-up soon expanded when [a1471095] and [a3876884] joined. Gigging regularly since June 2011, the band released their first CD [r=5802778] in December 2012. Simon left the band to pursue other interests in the summer of 2013, so Martin Cass stepped in, and they carried on regardless. Martin quit in April 2016, and Tim Oxnard joined in the following October. The band are a well-established part of the Teesside music scene. Their instrument-swapping and the general on-stage chaos has arguably made them the region's premier Health & Safety risk, but certainly one of the best and most original live acts around. Michael, Tim, Gary, Jimmy and Andy (in no particular order) all sing and play (in no particular order): guitar, bass guitar, melodica, percussion, sampler, synthesizer, walkingstick bass, linen-basket drums, electronic drums. Simon and Martin used to do the same. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | (((Pruttipal))) | Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester | (((Pruttipal))) is a current primary alias of Danish/Faroese experimental artist Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester, which he's been using since early 2017. Before that, Vester was mainly active as [a=Goodiepal]. One of the first mentions of Vester's new moniker was in January 2017, when he received Viggo Jarl's Sculpture Legacy grant of DKK 50,000 (around $6,500) from the Danish artistic association Den Frie Udstilling; the press release referred to the artist as "Goodiepal, who has now changed his name to (((pruttipal)))." In February 2017, (((Pruttipal))) started a podcast series Den Stille Bløde Vej ("The Quiet Soft Road") on Danish online radio The Lake, hosting a five-part interview with a renowned Danish rock journalist and photographer [a411268]. In April 2017, a Danish online magazine Passive/Aggressive published Goodiepal's cassette [r=12369831], which had one of the tracks titled "Embowel The (((Pruttipal)))" and featured Kristian Vester's photo with [a5140] captioned "Never forget Bjørn S. — he has meant a lot to me... says (((Pruttipal)))." In 2018, a Finnish label [l=Fonal Records] released [r=11857057] 3xLP with music from [a253437]'s eponymous documentary biopic, listing [l2538214] for © & ℗ copyright notices. In November 2019, (((Pruttipal)))'s first official release came out, a limited edition 7" lathe cut [r=23195333] from NYC-based [l102685], a "micro-label" subdivision of [l114907]. The single was named after Patchblocks, a now-defunct Northern Irish startup that was buiding programmable, open-source, stackable mini-synths between December 2013 and September 2018. The project launched with a successful and highly-publicized Kickstarter campaign, supported by prominent British artists, including [a369489], [a1373973], [a1998654], [a752836] from [a=DMX Krew], and [a1011016], and praised for developing their technology in a transparent, sustainable and community-driven manner. On his release, (((Pruttipal))) criticized modern Eurorack/modular synth manufacturers for financing anti-immigrant lobbies through their "hyper-capitalist" supply chains, thus using the revenues from artistic endeavours to oppress and induce suffering on thousands of refugees across the EU. In August 2020, (((Pruttipal))) returned to The Lake radio with a 3-hour long "DJ Audio $var #79" show that's available on all major podcasting platforms. As of July 2022, Pruttipal occasionally teaches composition at [l1747662]. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ravaged Cannibalistic Baby Cornea | Ravaged Cannibalistic Baby Cornea was formed in Cleveland, Ohio in May 2021. Founding members were Frank Henderson on vocals, Jack Soff and Bob Anti-Woke on guitar, Bob Kindertanson on drums and Greg Norton on bass. They all donned pseudonyms though Bob Anti-Woke's real name is unknown but he was known as Bob Indoctrination later after turning liberal and leaving the band. Frank had his name legally changed to Adolf Killface rather than just using at a stage name because he was confused when the other members said they should get new names. The group met each other in a strip club known as Mixer's Gentleman’s Club after they all ordered the same gyro. The band met at Bob K's home for their first practice where Jack and Adolf unveiled some songs they had written. This included the classic track Daily Routine which was the first they sat down to work on. They looked around for gigs and found an opening with another newish band Suicidal Infants who were looking for an opener at the Grog Shop. Suicidal Infants were a little desperate so didn’t look too into them. The show is featured on their EP "Dead But Live" and was recorded off of one of the S.I members' phone. Bob A.W found a person in the crowd known now as George Gay who opened his eyes to left wing politics and Bob quit the band not too long after from disagreements, though he did technically supply the guitar on the black metal closer for their first album, Funeral for the Deceased. The band didn’t really do anything much but meet up a few times as they were mostly too lazy to ever actually have all members show up. They eventually did get together and record their first eponymous album, mixed by Greg Norton. The album was put out on Bandcamp on April 13th, and on streaming like a few weeks later because Routenote is buns but free. The band has released one, more grindcore inspired single since then "Deserved Death" which came out on May 29th. After that they locked in and dropped "Piles of Dead Babies" in July, an album of Grindcore songs and a sequel to Daily Routine known as Nightly Routinex The album also featured a parody of Straight Edge by Minor Threat titled Slanted Edge that was cut on streaming services because they were brokies not trying to pay 80 bucks to release a 40 second song. The band chilled for a while before releasing a beautiful ballad called "A Love Song" inspired by Adolf's new girlfriend whom he met at her high school graduation. The album "Aftermath" later came out on September 11th 2025 and was their longest yet. The album was 40 minutes and featured 23 tracks. The band also figured out they could tune to tunings other than E Standard and so experimented with some other tunings. The album also featured a doom metal song entitled "I Like Drugs" as the closer to the album, it was a song they had started recording during the first album but they lost the song so had to redo it. The album also includes a cover of "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park", the most metal song ever. This song being so bad is thought to have been the cause of Tom Lehrer's death. | |

Member of [a=The Balloons (3)], Sky Harbor Band, The Bandits, Tykes, [a=Larry Lynne Group], his son's group, the Brandon James Band, Rebecca and the Grey Notes, Brennan Totten Band, Smooth Blues, and The Andy Gelles Trio. Tyler began playing guitar at age 11, by the time he was 14 he had his first real guitar and amp. It was a 1965 Telecaster and 65 Deluxe Reverb. His oldest brother Tom, who was in the Air Force at the time, sent the money home for it. But, he really got serious when he was practicing with a drummer. The drummer’s father came home from work and said “Pack up the gear”. He took them us to his favorite bar, they played about two hours and made about $40 in tips. He was hooked! His first band was the Tykes which morphed into The Larry Lynne Group. Brandon who is his son had recorded some of the songs Tyler had written. RCA Nashville heard them, became interested and flew them both down to Nashville. The Brandon James Band continued for about 7-8 years and got away from country and more into southern and classic rock. Tyler performs regularly with daughter Rebecca Famularo of Rebecca and the Grey Notes
