Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Stina August | Kristín Birgitta Ágústsdóttir | Stina August/Ágústsdóttir. Icelandic born singer. Stina August, also known as Stina Agustsdottir, was born and raised in Iceland, but has lived in Iceland, Denmark, England, Canada and now resides in Stockholm, Sweden. Stína studied at the Singing Academy in Reykjavik, Vocaltech in London and Concordia University in Montreal where she studied jazz for three years under the guidance of teachers like Madeleine Theriault, Jeri Brown, Dave Turner, Sheila Jordan and many more. She also toured with renowned Cirque du Soleil star, Francesca Gagnon before releasing her first solo album in 2007, a collection of jazz standards and songs recorded with some of the best jazz players in Canada. Stina's second solo album, Concrete World (2008), is a collection of songs written by Icelandic singer-songwriter Johann G Johannsson. The songs on the album were chosen by Stina out of Johann's vast catalog of originals and all the arrangements and many of the lyrics were created by Stina and producer Maury LaFoy (Barenaked Ladies, Jann Arden, k-os). She then moved on to become lead singer and songwriter of pop/rock band Nista and electronica duo AXXE (Mile-End Records, Rural Route Records), still keeping her jazz roots fresh with regular gigs and recordings. Amongst Stina's achievements in her career she has been voted as one of the top ten local jazz acts in Montreal, twice. She has performed at the Reykjavík Jazz Festival, Stockholm Jazz Festival and regularly performs in Iceland and Sweden with well known Icelandic and Swedish jazz musicians (Max Schultz, Petur Östlund, Sigurdur Flosason, Einar Scheving etc.) Stina released her third solo album in December 2016, Jazz á íslensku (Jazz in Icelandic), that is a collection of jazz standards and folk songs in jazz arrangements with lyrics in Icelandic. Currently Stina is working on her next original solo album and performing with her group 23/8 (Björkologi project with Björk songs in jazz arrangements) and various musicians in Stockholm, Sweden. |

| Search | Add | 2 | 보이스코 | Voixco was a South Korean R&B group from the early 2000s. The group consisted of B-Ya, Hang-A, Ha Jin, and Cho-A. Because they were signed to Jive Records Korea, Voixco did not get a whole lot of recognition due to Jive Records being an American based label. However, they did get more recognition in Japan. The only type of big recognition they were able to receive in Korea was for promoting the domestic release of the 20th Century Fox animated movie Ice Age (2001). The song "Ice Baby" was used for the promotion and a music video was produced as well. Due to poor management and Jive Records Korea having to file for bankruptcy, Voixco disbanded in 2002. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | DJ Confuze | Marko Purgaj | After winning various DJ competitions in Sweden and finally becoming the Swedish DMC Champion 2003, DJ Confuze`s (born Marko Purgaj) main focus has been to be one of the best club DJ´s as well. His skills have been well recognized as he earned the title "BEST DJ" two years in a row at the Swedish Hip-Hop Awards. As if that wasn´t enough, in 2003 his work with Club Blenda earned him the most prestigious title admitted to a club, the Nöjesguiden Gothenburg Prize for "BEST CLUB". With his technical, yet funky scratch, and his passion for music he manages to combine an exceptional style for both DJ competitions and dance floors. This proved to be a success and has given him shows all over Europe, opening for great big acts such as 50 Cent, The Game, John Legend, DJ A-Trak (Kanye West´s DJ), and swedish finest Looptroop and Timbuktu. He´s also played at the biggest festivals in Sweden such as Hultsfred, Göteborgskalaset and Malmöfestivalen. |

Combining elements of acoustic pop, classical music and avant-garde, they’ve created their own unique sound in which intimacy and tranquility share the leading role with melody and finely-tuned vocal harmonies. They have performed material from both their eponymous debut album Sommerhus (2013) and its successor Is There Such a Thing as Too Much Love? (2016) in clubs, theatres and living rooms from the Netherlands to Denmark to south-east Africa. Recently Sommerhus released songs created from ‘jozzonets’ by poet Joz Knoop. These songs were accompanied by a video created by artists or filmmakers. Currently Vera and Peter are working on new material. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Subact | Subact. A hybrid of styles. Weird pulsating electronics meet passionate drums. Two musicians sending waves from the heart to the soul to the feet. Subact is live. With 20 years of music making experience, Felix and Martin both started in the late 90‘s on different planets. Felix began collecting records and became a DJ just before buying his first drum computer. Addicted to the sounds, he collected more and more electronic Equipment throughout the years and started his first live projects in the underground scene of Dresden. That‘s where Martin came in in the early 2000‘s. Born in a small town near Dresden he grew up with punk and developed a deep love for Drumandbass, playing drums since the age of 5 years. He moved to Dresden and finally met Felix in a commune, where they started to make music together right then. They influenced each other with different musical styles and skills, ranging from Drum and Bass to Psychedelic Rock, Punk, Metal, Breakcore, Techno, Dub, and everything inbetween. Now all that comes together. Subact is the essence of their personal growth and musical friendship. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Alan Hinton | Alan Hinton | Alan Hinton has been involved in music since the age of 15 starting out on a Sony Playstation 1 and using Music 2000 as his software sequencer. Alan quickly got a taste for making music professionally and invested in a PC, his 1st release, with bounce nation records, run by local deejays of his home town Halifax After a few years producing bouncy house music, as [a284674], and running his own label, “[l53273]”, Alan decided it was time to try something new. He was introduced to a guy named a69746 ,aka [a26848], who he knew from the big chart topping hit “[m=91729]”. After a while James and Alan became great friends , and writing partners, with a string of hits within the bassline scene under the alias’s [a1196488], [a1184893], [a423676] and more. James and Alan continued in different genres including Dance music ([a1789357]) partnering up with Lee Butler and Kenny Hayes to release [r2238582]. Alongside this, Alan’s love for UK Hardcore birthed the name [a1156331] working with [a113916] with several tracks released. Alan still continues the [a2432986] portion of this act to this day. After a few years Alan decided it was time for a change, again. This, time old friend and Bouncy House producer Matt James aka Mjay asked Alan to do a few remixes for him, which lead onto Original work and the start of the Record Label Nine Planet Records. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Flair Ensemble | Because of the typical instrumental setting and the presence of the female singer, it is clear the Ensemble FLAIR has its roots in the Moravian folk tradition. Here in Moravia all members of Flair were born, here they live and from here they present their musical expression to the world. The musical language of FLAIR expresses a symbiosis between folk music and classical music. The fact there will be no changes in the musicians of FLAIR, will lead into a well-sounding and well-singing FLAIR. With a little of Leoš Janáček, Béla Bartók, the heritage of Carpathian folk musicians, the Gypsy music from Bucharest and Budapest and last but not least, compositions of Flair´s artistic leader, Jan Rokyta. After a succesfull start in the concert serie of Czech Radio Ostrava in November 2014, FLAIR won the prestigious 1st prize in the international EBU competition „GRAND PRIX OF SVETOZÁR STRAČINA 2015” for the arrangement and interpretation of the Moravian folk song “Ej, lásko, lásko”. Short after, FLAIR has recorded its first album „From the Springs to the Sea...” (Indies Happy Trails). Further in 2016, FLAIR took a prominent part on the profile CD of its solo-singer Klára Blažková, „In the Lap of Mountains Homeland” (Indies Happy Trails). This CD has got many positive reviews. In November 2016, Ensemble FLAIR took part on the International Music Festival MUSICA PURA in the cross-over interpretation of Moravian Folk Poetry in Songs together with the world-known Czech opera soprano Martina Janková and famous Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek (ČT art: Janková zpívá Janáčka). In 2017 and 2018 FLAIR staged a program of Lent and Easter songs, which was published in 2019 on the album "Music of Truth". In the same year, FLAIR played a key role in the profile album of the BLAženky "Prvý raz!" with folk melodies from Wallachia and Slovak folklore regions. In 2020, FLAIR participates in a Czech Television documentary about music, which was inspired by lyrics of Czech poets. It also participates in a radio recording of Moravian folk ballads and prepares for a "cross-over" program "Valašské sonety" together with the Janáček Chamber Orchestra with artistic director and violinist Jakub Černohorský. In September 2020, FLAIR´s second profile album will be released under the title "Drop to Drop". All albums in which FLAIR has participated since its inception were released by Indies Happy Trails. Ensemble FLAIR collaborates with leading Czech actors Alfred Strejček and Tomáš Jirman. | |

NOVOID has been founded in Switzerland in 2015 as a church band to bring "joy through music". After several complaints regarding noise level, the rock enthusiasts decide to become independent. | Search | Add | 2 | Korey Livy | ‘Korey Livy is a man with boundless passion, pride and bucket loads of real life experience – he is a natural storyteller in performance and song. Australian County Music audiences were first introduced to Korey when he toured with “The Brian Young Show’, ‘Tim McGraw Tribute Show’ and of course to a wider audience when he appeared as a contestant on Australian Idol in 2006. A Toyota Star Maker finalists and CMAA graduate, Korey earned his stripes sharing the stage with Australian country greats, Kasey Chambers, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar Daley, Melinda Schneider, Sara Storer and Lee Kernaghan. He cruised around the Caribbean as part of the Grand Ole Opry tour, getting up close and personal with American country greats Brad Paisley, Trace Atkins and Bill Anderson. In 2000 Korey released his debut album ‘Home to You’ with songs penned mostly by him and produced by Nash Chambers. ‘Home To You’ the single worked its way to number 6 on the Country Music Radio charts later seeing Korey nominated for rising star and awarded best new talent at the Australian independent country music awards. Fast-forward to 2007 and Korey began collaboration with Roger Corbett at The Valley Studio to produce his second album "That's The Way We Do It Round Here". This time collecting material from Australia and the US, as well co-writing with Drew McAlister and Roger Corbett. The result being a rollercoaster ride of an album jam-packed with energy and emotion. In between recording albums and touring this award winning artist has given his time and commitment to various charity organisations, helping to raise awareness and much needed funds for Bush Fire Appeals, Cancer Awareness, Camp Quality and the Australian Catholic Church in its appeal to raise funds for the children of East Timor. Korey’s ability to sing you a story and make you laugh or cry is a real testament to his amazing life experiences and skill as a singer and songwriter. In 2011 a grey cloud hung of Korey when He lost his closest friend and father Gerard Livy to a silent battle with depression, leaving him feeling lost and broken. Eventually as Korey describes it, he had to learn to live again. 2012 saw Korey once more team up with some of Australia’s finest songwriters and producers, Garth Porter, Drew McAlister and Roger Corbett, bringing the real life stories and raw emotion of his life into his new Album Route 63. Korey believes that we take a few wrong turns in life but we’re all trying to get back to Route 63, the route of faith and courage. He has faith that there is light at the end of the road and more importantly He has the courage to continue to keep looking for that brand new day. “No more fear………………… of learning to live again”!!! | |
