Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 9 | Han Epskamp | Han Epskamp | Life-work is a musical project founded by Dutch songwriter Han Epskamp, the name coming from songwriting being his life's work and also stating that the topics of the songs deal with life in general. When producer Tim Ellis asked him late 2009 if he could use some help on the production of his songs it resulted in the first recording, the ballad 'Wonder where you are' with soprano Karen Orchin. Han liked her voice so much that she recorded a second song: 'My heart', which was remixed by Pete Hammond and got to number 4 in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 club chart in October 2010. Afterwards 'Wonder where you are' was also remixed by Pete Hammond in a dance version and got to number 2 in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 club chart in February 2011. 'You won't see my tears' then was especially written for Karen's voice, reaching Music Week's Commercial Pop Club Chart at 25 in September 2011. The fourth single 'Lost in Time' followed and now the fifth production is ready: 'Woman of Secrets'. The Club Junkies Club Mix already entered the 21st position in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 club chart even before it's release. Last year the reggae track 'Dolce Far Niente'was released. Currently Life-work is preparing an album. |

He started handing out mix-tapes to local clubs and promoters in 2009 but had a difficult time grabbing anyone’s attention. Search | Add | 9 | María Alejandra Matos | María Alejandra Matos | Perhaps the hottest young, female merengue artist today is Maria Alejandra, from Puerto Rico. Interested in singing from a very young age, Alejandra started studying music and voice when she was 15 years old, inspired by merengue greats Juan Luis Guerra and Olga Tañón. Within a year she was recording advertising jingles for television, and singing many different musical genres in hotels. Alejandra released her debut album, Que Lloren Las Mujeres Tontas on the Rodven label. The album received wide critical acclaim. It included hit songs such as the title track and gave great impretus to a promising career. Alejandra’s second album, Locuras brought her international recognition. Also on the Rodven label, the album helped solidify her status as up-and-coming merengue star. The album showed Alejandra’s energy as well as talent with a mixture of ballads and very danceable songs such as “Como Pez En El Agua” and “Mar De Emociones”. Produced by Tony “Tun Tun” Castro, who also worked with Elvis Crespo and Grupo Manía, Alejandra has released her third album, the self-titled Maria Alejandra and possibly her best effort to date. The recording appears on the Universal label with great songs such as “Me Equivoque” . The album also included Si Tú Te Vas, which appears on two tracks: once as a ballad, her first, and again in merengue form. Both tracks are excellent examples of Alejandra’s talent. |

The three met a few years before while on tour in Montana. They traveled well together and gained mutual respect for each other as songwriters. As the number of tours grew, so did the act. While on the road, they established themselves as each other's backing band, switching between guitars, drums and bass. The result has been an authentic blend of energy and momentum that is The Bus Driver Tour. Currently, the band calls Livingston, MT and Knoxville, TN home as they have deep admiration and musical roots in both States.

Search | Add | 9 | Trrmà | Trrmà is an Italian experimental duo based in Bari, Italy, and founded in July 2015 by Giovanni Todisco (percussion) and Giuseppe Candiano (modular synthesizers). TRRMÀ incorporates several distinct motives in their unconventional sound, such as traditional afrikaans tribal polyrhythms, elements of Mediterranean and classical percussion. The artists also often use stochastic system of composition—a mathematical approach invented by a Greek composer [a32202] in the early 1950s. The band's first two albums were both eponymous: a limited-edition [r=8462007] LP, self-released in May 2016, and [r=11939094] CD which came out in June 2018 on an Italian independent label Auand Records. This second release, mastered by [a=Rashad Becker] at D+M Berlin, featured slightly more refined production and polished sound. In February of 2019, to coincide with their first Japan tour, TRRMÀ released a third album, [r=14904740]. Limited edition CD came in a handmade silkscreened cover with Japanese liner notes. The band also collaborated with a renowned American avant-garde composer and pianist [a=Charlemagne Palestine]. In November 2018, he performed at the 33rd edition of Times Zones Festival in Bari. Times Zones is one of the oldest Italian music festivals, held in Trrmà's hometown annually since 1986. Giovanni and Giuseppe, both Palestine admirers, asked organizers to put them in touch with the eccentric composer. Eventually, they recorded two sessions, fusing together TRRMÀ's stochastic compositions and Palestine's "bombastic" piano and electronics. The limited-edition [r=14339206] LP was released in Oct 2019 on a French label [l=Be Coq]. In May 2020, a Brooklyn-based [l=577 Records] released TRRMÀ's latest album, recorded back in October 2019 at [l1035914] in Terlizzi, and again mastered by Becker at D&M.

In 2012-2013, Adrian creates his own soundcloud where he upload some mixes but start to learn how to produce with FruityLoops 11, learning as a self-taught person praising how the early Hardcore Producers did it back in the day, with those analogic systems, old computers and synthesizers. Special thanks to his friend and influencer Bennasar who plays his first tunes on the biggest Hardcore party in Tenerife, the Dj Jonay's Anniversary and later in the 2017 rocking again with more tracks where the crew comes crazy, during those years, he continues releasing more elaborated tunes on FL12 and FL20 till 2018... Search | Add | 9 | Olivier Schreuder | Olivier Schreuder | Composer, performer, DJ, label CEO Olivier Schreuder composes & produces electronic and acoustic music. His work ranges from experimental electroacoustic compositions and improvisations, orchestral works, and generative modular synthesizer ecosystems to turntablism and dub-infused electronic music. As a performer he often uses a mix of turntables, digital and analog (modular) synthesis techniques and signal processing. Furthermore he performs with custom made electroacoustic instruments, to explore new textures and expressive possibilities. He is especially interested in how traditional cultures and new technologies meet, and often works together with musicians from these cultures to make new music together. Under his alias Lucid Voyages he composes electroacoustic ecosystems with his modular synthesizer, field recordings and DSP. In these ecosystems he explores the fluidity of sound: the extent to which a sound can morph between different physical characteristics. In his organized chaotic systems he improvises with generative elements, feedback and interaction between acoustic and electronic sounds. Travelling in Southeast Asia and studying the musics, cultures and languages of Vietnam, Thailand, Laos & Cambodia has a strong influence on his work. Olivier Schreuder studied Music technology at the HKU (University of the Arts Utrecht) in the Netherlands where he graduated with a MA with honors in 2013. His graduation project was nominated for the HKU Award 2013 as most innovative and enterprising sound design project, and got selected for the Hot 100 as one of the most talented graduates of 2013 in e-culture. During his time at the HKU he studied composition with Rob Zuidam, Jorrit Tamminga, Marcel Wierckx, David Dramm, Ned McGowan and Katerina Pejoska. He studied traditional Vietnamese music & Đàn Bầu with Lê Uyển in Saigon, folkmusic from Northeast Thailand & the kaen with Pongsapon Upani in Khon Kaen, and the traditional music of the animistic Tampuen tribe with Ven Cherk of the Yeak Lom Arts Group in Ratanakiri, Cambodia. In the Netherlands he is a regular guest-player in the gamelan ensembles Wiludyeng & Manyar Sewu. As a lecturer he has been teaching composition at the HKU, and Southeast Asian music at Codarts (Rotterdam University of the Arts) & the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. His compositions have been performed on the Gaudeamus Muziekweek (Utrecht, NL), ICMC, TodaysArt Festival (The Hague, NL), the Đương Đại Contemporary Music Festival (Saigon, Vietnam), Lasalle University of the Arts & School of the Arts in Singapore, the Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen and the Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai (Thailand) amongst others. Together with Yme de Jong he started the game audio company SoundBoySound in 2016, specializing in music & sound design for games and interactive art. As DJ Phaze he has played in many clubs and festivals in and around the Netherlands. His mixtape-series Present Revival of Futuristic Classics featured local rap heroes like Def P & Oscar X. With MC Oscar X and producer Werner Urban he made an EP called Hollands Licht and performed live around the Netherlands with a classic DJ-MC live show. Starting out as a turntablist and organizer with firm roots in hip hop culture, he also organized many events in and around the Netherlands like the legendary Hiphopcafe 4 Elementz in Amsterdam, and a tribute to John Coltrane for the Kindred Spirits record label. As a composer, sound designer and performer he is part of several (live) music projects. Currently these include The Magic Number, a live film soundtrack project with composer Robin Koek & DJ Jeroen van Aalst, Kow Mai with Thai classical musician Angkanang Pimwankum, and a gamelan and electronics project with Dutch musician Michiel Niemantsverdriet. In 2015 his studies in Thailand lead to the recording of new compositions for highly talented molam local traditional folk musicians. Under the name of Apichat Pakwan they start a live act in which they blend Lao folk music, dub, electronics & hiphop, and tour in Southeast Asia & Europe, with highlights playing shows at the Amsterdam Roots Festival, Fusion Festival (Germany), World Experience Festival (Romania), Na Fir Bolg Festival (Belgium), Thailand Grand Festival in The Hague (NL), Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen, the Jim Thompson's Molam Bus Stage at the Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai (Thailand). Love for vinyl, infectious grooves from around the world and turntablism-culture lay the foundation for his own record label Animist Records he started in 2016. The first release is a 10" vinyl record of Apichat Pakwan called Angkanang. In 2017 and 2018 three more records of Apichat Pakwan are released, and a breakthrough in Thailand comes with more successful shows and a much viewed feature on Thai national television. Apichat Pakwan's debut album Esantronics is released in October 2019 to critical international acclaim. |

Search | Add | 9 | Skanbino Mob | One of hip-hop's grimmest examples of truly living the thug life, Flint, MI's Skanbino Mob released two hardcore and bleak albums that made a considerable regional impact before the duo was murdered in two separate incidents, only three days apart. Skanbino members Bone Skanless (born Deion J.L. Smith) and Young Kee (born Marcus Mosley) first came on the scene in 1999 with Playin' for Real on the independent label Hitman. Their second album, "Playin fa Keeps", appeared on the much higher-profile Tommy Boy in 2000, but failed to lift the duo above cult status. A year later, Young Kee would receive a year probation after being caught with a concealed weapon during a drug bust. In 2002, Bone Skanless would be in front of a judge on murder and weapons charges related to the 2001 death of a Flint man, but he was eventually acquitted. On July 28, 2006, Bone Skanless was gunned down in front of his mother's home. Three days later, Young Kee was shot in the head and dropped off in front of his aunt's house.
