Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026

Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His sound alchemy can be described as "Cosmic, Relaxing, Fun, Tribal, Spiritual, Unifying and Mystic", fitting perfectly for clubs & festivals, as well as listening gatherings, exhibitions, relaxational sessions or meditation. A milestone in Saphileaum's career came in 2022, when a snippet of his composition, "Cosmic Lake Transparency," via the project "Stihia Beyond", was transmitted as a radio signal to the exoplanet K2-18B from the Goonhilly Earth Station in England, marking a historic moment as the second Georgian artist to have their music journey into deep space. This remarkable achievement highlights Saphileaum's innovative approach to music, which has also seen him contribute to prestigious projects such as creating music for Porsche's new 911 model presentation in Tbilisi, Maison Margiela's yet unseen backstage photo exhibition by Jonathan Hallam under the Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in Tbilisi and music for a few Georgian films. Over the years, Saphileaum has released a diverse array of Albums and EPs on International labels, including "Transpersonal Experience" & "Intrapersonal Experience" on Good Morning Tapes, "Ornaments" on Oslated, "The Traveler" on Silent Season, "Exploring Together" on Mule Musiq and "Banana Leaf Paradise" on Slow Life, to name a few, each reflecting his unique blend of cosmic expansiveness, tribalism and meditative storytelling. Beyond Saphileaum, Andro has explored other artistic avenues under different monikers, such as Marquess Evergreen for meditative music and writing fairy tales, and Farewell Warm Fields for nostalgic explorations of breakbeat and downtempo sounds, evoking poignant narratives of human connection and longing. In addition to music, Andro's creative spirit finds expression through writing poetry, fashion, collage art and philosophical inquiry, enriching the cultural landscape with his diverse contributions and leaving an enduring mark on the world of art and expression. ✤ Booking: kuba@khidi.ge ✤ Contact: saphileaum@yahoo.com

Search Add 9 Godfrey Kerr US songwriter, producer, label owner ([l=Gee Kay Records], [l=Kay Gee Records], [l=Cal Omen]), as well as the owner of reissue labels [l=Blast Back Records] and [l=Flashback Records (10)]. Godfrey Kerr (born September 10, 1942 in Dublin ) an Irish-American radio presenter who made outstanding contributions to the Chicano rock from Los Angeles in the 1960s . Godfrey Kerr enjoyed traditional American pop as sung by Theresa Brewer and Guy Mitchell while growing up in Ireland . After emigrating to Culver City , California with his family in 1954 , he expanded his musical taste to include rhythm and blues . As a temporary worker in a record shop, he also began to be interested in jazz . After high school, Kerr started working full-time in the music business: he managed several smaller record labels, opened a mail order business for oldie records and organised dance and show events as a promoter and MC . For this he regularly booked leading bands of Chicano Rock between 1964 and 1968, including Thee Midniters who had a home game in the event halls of Barrio , East Side of Los Angeles. In addition, there were also interpreters of R&B such as Johnny Guitar Watson or Brenda Holloway . But Kerr was best known as a radio host and DJ under his first name Godfrey. Since 1964 he has often represented Dick “Huggyboy” Hugg on the broadcasters KRLA and KALI, the most important DJ for Chicano Rock alongside Art Laboe , thus inheriting the particularly loyal audience of the Mexican population of the metropolis. Godfrey soon moved to KTYM, where he hosted a weekday show playing Chicano rock and R&B ballads. In the mid-1960s, the simple sound of garage rock and surf rock were popular in California . Godfrey therefore tried his hand at being a musician knowing his limited singing talent. With Thee Midniters, he released a single on Whittier Records entitled Down Whittier Blvd. sang a central cruising stretch of the Barrios and which is a successor to the song Whittier Blvd. from the Midniters. His second single, The Trip, was a cover piece by Kim Fowley , which is an unequivocal tribute to the use of LSDand was therefore rewritten to a summer hit after public protest by the defused version Let's Take a Trip . Both versions were released on John Marascalco's small label Cee-Jam Records . Marascalco also granted Godfrey co-author credits for his own pieces like Something Like Mr. C by the Young Lions or named him as supervisor on Frankie Olvera's version of Huggie's Bunnies in the hope that Godfrey would thereby promote the tracks more on the radio. Godfrey also brought out four compilation LPs on which he put together obscure performers and their songs and presented them in the Godfrey Presents ... series. Godfrey stayed with KTYM until 1968, when the solid core of the Chicano movement at that time began to disintegrate, thus dwindling his audience and the number of visitors to his dance events. After a brief return to radio in the 1970s, Kerr started working in record distribution.

Na sequência, lançaram “Spirit”, cover da banda Dead Can Dance, interpretada por [a=Alexandre Vavallo] ([a=Back Long Arch] / [a=Cum Mortuis] / Aura Spell). Formação: 🎸 [a=Cleiton Cavalcante] – Vozes / Guitarra 🎹 [a=Rafael S. Souza] – Synth / Programação 🖋️ [a=Wandrey Queiróz] – Letras / Produção

Search Add 9 Pervis Lee Pervis Lee was a popular singer and performer from Charlotte, North Carolina. Lee got his start in the early 60s playing country clubs and private parties, eventually recording two albums, the self-released Himself in 1970 and Leeway some time later (exact release date is unknown) for the Snyder Album Co. out of Winston Salem, NC. Both albums are showcases for the wide range of musical styles Lee performed (folk, rock, R&B, gospel, standards, and even calypso) and his choice of material gives a strong sense that Lee was as much an entertainer as he was a recording artist. Pervis Lee continued to perform around Charlotte in the decades that followed. He retired from his day job as a chauffeur in 1994 and performed live music as late as 2001. He passed away on July 4th 2015 at the age of 81.

Search Add 9 EN2ORPHINE Gaetan Nelias French Electronic artist born in 1982. A&R of RED REC & Team Label CDT. EN2ORPHINE: Curious insatiable and eternally passionate, En2orphine never does things like everyone else. First attached body and soul to the Bordeaux rock scene, he later falls in love with electronic music at the dawn of the 2000s at parties organized by the atypical club Space Opera. It was these two love at first sight that motivated her determination and her endless involvement in music. He started with the production, which led him to present live acts with 69db, Lenny D, McOutis, DJ Volta, Hilight Tribe and DJamency, and gradually became part of the mix universe. At the same time, he ventured into rock-fusion with his group "Churchill" and engaged in electro-jazz and world music collaborations, wherever his characteristic open-mindedness could lead him. His meeting with young WestSound Brestois marks a turning point for him. After a year of exchanges, they offer him the opportunity to mix alongside Dax J. It is then that the hyperactive he is decided to crack on Rennes thus participating in the creation of REDEMPTION. More than just a collective responsible for organizing parties, he is at the origin of a series of podcasts called REDCAST and a label called RED REC in which En2orphine plays a very active role. More recently, he joined the staff of the "La Chinerie" community as an administrator for his techno CDT branch. Preferring shade and mystery, he strives to discover as much pearls as possible in order to study them and then assemble them to form auditory frescoes. Moreover, his selections are more to be seen as mosaics or patchworks as the focus is on diversity and polychrome. Various atmospheres mix and even create original bridges between musical genres in order to question certain boundaries between them and to surprise the listener. Whether the atmosphere is cold and distressing or warm and reassuring, En2orphine finds itself there, adapts and mixes like a chameleon, its eclectic foolproof constituting its greatest strength.
