Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 12 | Dagashi Kashi | 駄菓子菓子 | The band was formed in Tokyo in 1997, as a new wave duo first called "Squash" (ぐにゃり). The members where Mera-Dono on vocals / bass and E.Shima Terushige on guitar / synth. The next year, they start to doing some hard rock music and rennamed themselves "Dagashi Kashi" (駄菓子菓子), with in bonus new members. As long as the year was going, they lose all the new members. They only found a new drummer in 1999, but it's in 2000 that the bassist Sakaidesan discover the band (and became part of it) and also introduce Dagashi Kashi to his label: "Hormone Tank Record". They also released their first album "Botai Nai Sekai" (母胎内世界). Even if the line-up staid unstable, they could release their second reccord, "Jingaikyou No Heya" (人外境の部屋) in 2002. In the same year, they been asked to be part of the compilation "Ugou no Shuu" (烏合の衆), with several other japanese punk-rock bands. In 2003, they even tour into the USA. The two former members decided to create an alter-ego to the band with their new-wave concept. The duo was called "Katakata 16 Fun" (カタカタ16分). They also released their third record "Kokoro Mushi" (こころむし). In 2004, the label "Satsugai Enka Vinyl" (that made the "Ugou no Shuu" (烏合の衆) compilation) decided to made a remix album of a couple of songs from the band. It was called "Dagui" (駄喰). In 2006, E.Shima Terushige, one of the founder of the band quit, leaving the band in mourning. They finally released another album in 2007, called "Amida Kudi" (阿弥陀くぢ), with the same spirit than their first album, even if we thought his spirit has died with the years: their old school side is stronger than the time ! Then, the shows were rares and they didn't release anything since 2010, when Mera-Dono released her first solo single. The sells of the album give back the taste to the band to come up with a fifth album: "Bonnou Go Dan Katsuyou" (煩悩五段活用). They made a hommage show to "新宿LOFT", a guitarist of session of the band that died. Then, the line-up changed a lot with the time, so the band had decided to record nothing since they will be stabilized. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Cristiano Campos | Bassy, Deep and Futuristic, this is Cristiano Campos music style. The 25 years old DJ and Music Producer is also Fundii Recordings label's director. Brazilian; living in Sao Paulo, Brazil but born in Sao Luiz (capital city of Maranhao state). Inspired by the sound of international acts like M.A.N.D.Y.; Booka Shade; Sasha; Renato Ratier; Gui Boratto and many more. That’s sort of how he got interested and started his venture in the electronic music scene back in 2005. With a bit over a decade of experience as a DJ and about over five years in the scene as a Music Producer, while he releases his music under his own record label Fundii Recordings, Cristiano Campos is also currently signed and releasing on third-party record labels such as Kitchen Smoke Records, Run On Recordings, and producing remixes for Cold Fiction Music. The artist throughout the years have rediscovered and reinvented himself and his sound, as well as refining his own skills. Cristiano Campos is actually Resident DJ for seven years now at a female fashion store (Gebrinn) located on the east-side of capital Sao Paulo, Brazil every Saturday afternoon. The artist has played already at clubs like Mary Pop (Deeping); Kitsch Club (Monde); and others…as well as a variety of private and public events, specially related to fashion brands or Fashion catalog releases due to his personal kind of experience and artistic sonority. His music genre is often described by his fans as being Deep House, though his sets may sometimes contain variations ranging from Dub-Techno to House Music itself. Always trying to keep his presentations evolving and with a futuristic approach. On his Record Label though, Fundii Recordings, the producer promotes national and international underground acts with conceptual and experimentalist works as well as modern and introspective sounds in which He believes. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams | Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams | Incorporated in 1932 as an act of the then Madras Presidency, The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams was formed as a religious organization meant to administer the rituals, day to day administration, and supervisory responsibilities of the Vaishnava Temples in Tirumala, Tirupati, and Tiruchanur to start with. Later on in 1967, the Temple in Srinivasamangapuram, Narayanavanam, Nagalapuram were added. In 1980s, The temples in Karvetinagaram, and Appalayagunta were added as the organization's revenues also grew. Today, the TTD (as it is affectionately called) is a Behemoth organization managing more than 17 temples spread across India, more than 20 educational institutions, 3 major hospitals with specialty services, 3 Universities of which one each is engineering and medicine, and more than 1000 real estate assets spread across the entire breadth of the Indian subcontinent. They also help propagate the glory of Sri Venkateswara - the presiding deity of the Temple at Tirumala, and Goddess Sri Padmavathi at Tiruchanur through their wholly owned broadcast channel SVBC in multiple languages. They also manage a full-fledged dairy farm, and gardens spread over 50 acres at various places on the top of the Tirumala Hills at elevations of over 3000 feet above Sea level, hundreds of dorms for devotees who come visit The temple, including huge kitchens for feeding hundreds of thousands of devotees every single day. It is not exaggerating when we say the TTD is like a government on its own and never sleeps, literally. They have their own security and vigilance departments, and also handle millions of rupees in cash every single day that come as offerings from devotees. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Michael Rougier | Born in England on June 16, 1925, Michael Rougier began his career as a photographer for the Montreal Standard newspaper. His big break came when he was assigned to photograph cattle being shipped to Argentina from Canada. While in Argentina, he made photos of the then-camera shy Eva Perón, eventually smuggling the pictures out of the country and back north. Those images ran in both the Standard and in LIFE, where he was hired as a staff photographer in November 1947, remaining with the magazine for more than two decades. (He eventually left at the end of 1971, a year before LIFE ceased publishing as a weekly.) During his 24 years with the magazine, Rougier displayed the sort of versatility for which so many of LIFE’s photographers were known. He covered the Korean War with his greatest work focusing on children orphaned by that conflict. He covered the Hungarian revolution of 1956, weddings in North Dakota, Boy Scouts, horse racing, drug-addled Japanese teens and countless other stories, in countless other locations. He exemplified the ideal of the staff photographer, for whom no assignment was too small (or too big). Early in his career at LIFE, he accepted a handful of assignments that illuminated his compassion for the powerless. The first was a story about a blind poodle named Midget. The story goes that he almost passed out in the operation room while Midget was being operated on to restore her sight. He also photographed a story in Texas in 1948 about a cat that got around via wheelchair. He even adopted a goat after covering a “goat round-up” in Virginia in 1950. The one story that most perfectly captures Rougier’s remarkable empathy for his subjects, however, involved a Korean orphan named Kang (see slide #4 in this gallery). In 1951, he was sent to southeast Asia to cover the Korean War (replacing his LIFE colleague, John Dominis). While there, Rougier came across the Taegu orphanage and met Kang, a boy who would eventually be introduced to the LIFE’s readers as “the boy who wouldn’t smile.” At one point, Rougier sent a remarkable open letter to his colleagues back at Time Inc. in New York asking—in fact, almost begging—for assistance to help Kang and the orphanage. (“You might be a helluva long way from war in a bar in New York but these kids can’t remember anything but war few of them remember anything of their life before their mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters were killed right before their eyes. Get the contacts of my first take and look at them look at Kang and then please send some stuff.”) The letter got results. The orphanage received money, books, vitamins, clothing. Kang did, eventually, smile and was adopted by an American family. From the first, Rougier was recognized as a stellar photojournalist by his peers, and won Magazine Photographer of the Year honors from the National Press Photographers Association in 1954. In 1964, meanwhile, on assignment in Antarctica, Rougier almost met his death when he was seriously injured after tumbling more than 600 feet down a mountainside while covering scientists who were working at the bottom of the world studying glaciers. Today, the peak is called “Rougier Hill,” in honor of the intrepid photographer who nearly died on its slopes. Michael Rougier, who was an accomplished sculptor in addition to being a masterful photojournalist, died in Canada on January 5, 2012. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Tierra Cero | 'Tierra Cero' is a Mexican Boy-band that originated from the Mexican Telenovela called 'Mi Querida Isabel' (1996 to 1997), where the young actors appeared as waiters who sung and danced at a bar. In the soap opera there were around 7 actors in the band, including Paulo Quevedo (Real Name: Paulo César Quevedo de la Vega) and Christian Carabias, with other lesser known actors. Later, a contest was launched by the Mexican Celebrity Magazine 'TvyNovelas' to give the band a name, and the name that won was 'Tierra Cero'. In 1997, their first single 'Te Amaré' was included in the 'Mi Querida Isabel' Soundtrack CD and released to radio as a promotional single. The original line-up during this time was Paulo Quevedo, Christian Carabias, Rafael León (Real Name: Rafael León De Los Cobos) and Sebastián. Paulo Quevedo was the lead vocal during this time. Later that same year of 1997, their debut album was launched with Jorge Da Silva (Real Name: Jorge De Silva Murray) in replacement of Sebastián, alongside Paulo, Christian and Rafael. Their first single of their debut album was 'Porque Te Amo', while the 'Mi Querida Isabel' track 'Te Amaré' was also included in this album. For their second and third albums (1998-2000) the lineup was changed with Erick Elías and Luigi Balestra (Cousin of Daniel Merlo who is a group member of the famous latin boy-band 'Mercurio') taking the place that Jorge Da Silva (he went on to pursue acting) and Paulo Quevedo (he went to latin boy-band 'Kairo') left. Luigi Balestra was the lead vocal during this time. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Tex Withers | Tex was born in Texas and abandoned as a baby because of his many deformities and arrived in England when he was seven. His rise in British country music showed remarkable resilience: he was four feet tall and a hunchback with a painful history of severe spinal problems and tuberculosis. Withers wore western dress throughout the day as he longed to be an American Indian - his wife, known as White Fawn, dressed as his squaw and smoked a clay pipe. A good-natured man who laughed at his handicaps, Withers was the long-standing compère at West London’s Nashville Room and won several awards as the Top UK country singer, his show-stoppers being ‘These Hands’ and a narration about a Red Indian’s difficulties in coming to terms with society, ‘The Ballad Of Ira Hayes’. Tex Withers Sings Country Style sold 135, 000 copies, while his 1973 album, The Grand Ole Opry’s Newest Star was recorded mainly in Nashville, Tennessee. He was championed by Hank Snow, but his professional career was cut short by throat illness. Withers became bankrupt and his illiteracy made work difficult. His last years were spent as a cleaner at Gatwick Airport and Haywards Heath railway station. He found his happy hunting ground on 29 December 1986, probably aged 53, and merited an obituary in The Times. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Shannon Two Feathers | SHANNON TWO FEATHERS (Also worked as "Shannon twofeathers") Born: September 16, 1936 - Sandy Bay, Manitoba, CANADA Shannon Two Feathers was a Canadian Aboriginal (Anishnabe) singer/songwriter who achieved national recognition through his 1978 album "Dreams That Feed A Gypsy", released on the Edmonton, Alberta-based WSM Records label. Prior to the release of the album, Shannon Two Feathers' songs and vocal stylings were heard through a series of single releases, with his debut disc coming in 1972 on the Kanata label with the songs "The Only Way To Keep It" b/w "And She Travels" (KAN-1014). A follow-up came in 1973 on the IMI label with the single "Separation Blue" b/w "The Prisoner". An obscure and highly collectable album on the IMI label entitled "Separation Blue" was also reportedly issued in 1973. "The Prisoner" song, written by Shannon Two Feathers, was such a popular radio hit that RCA Canada picked up the recording and re-issued it as a single (KPBO-0005) b/w "Sweet Gypsy Hair", and it became Shannon Two Feathers' only nationally charted single, peaking at #20 on the RPM Charts in 1973 Shannon Two Feathers' next release came in 1975 on the Maple Haze Records label with the tunes "One Step Outside" b/w "Smile" (MH-7505). The 1978 release of his "Dreams That Feed A Gypsy" album on the WSM label also brought several single releases with the title track tune b/w "Smile" (WSM 45-507) and the follow-up "Maria" b/w "Daddy Doesn't Live There Anymore". The album, featuring all original songs written by Shannon Two Feathers, was co-produced by Shannon Two Feathers with Wes Dakus at Edmonton's Sundown Studios and was critically acclaimed, but unfortunately not well promoted by the independent label and not aggressively supported by Canadian country radio. Aside from his own recordings, Shannon Two Feathers also had his songs recorded by fellow Aboriginal artist Don Stonechild, with his 1978 WSM single "Child Of Stone" b/w "New Orleans". In addition to his talents as a singer and songwriter Shannon Two Feathers also appeared in the National Film Board movie "The Red Dress", and he wrote songs and music for the 1988 movie "Poundmaker's Lounge - A Healing Place". He was also an artist, with his Illustrations prominently featured in the book "People Of The Buffalo", authored by his multi-award winning wife, Maria Campbell. Shannon Two Feathers was inducted into the Manitoba Aboriginal Music Hall Of Fame in 2008. He has since been deceased, although date of death has not yet been confirmed by this writer. Also unconfirmed at this time is a surname, which may be "Roulette" or " Freddy Shannon" | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Norman Barratt | British guitarist and songwriter, born in Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire, England on 5th February 1949. Norman Barratt, who died on 31 July 2011, guitarist, singer and frontman, Norman was a regular performer at Greenbelt in the 70s and 80s, and a hugely popular figure at the festival. Norman came to prominence in the progressive rock band Gravy Train, who recorded four studio albums during the early 70s. Subsequently, his emotive, soulful guitar-playing skills were in high demand as a session player, sideman and band member. He joined the Alwyn Wall Band in 1976, recording the classic The Prize, before going on to front the Barratt Band, who produced two studio releases, Playing in the City and The Voice. He then toured and recorded with innumerable acts, including Jessy Dixon, Sheila Walsh, Phil Keaggy, Steve Taylor, Cliff Richard and Barry McGuire. After becoming disillusioned with the Christian music industry, he went on to concentrate on session work, local church activity and recording in his own studio. Norman will be remembered as a sweet, kind and humble man, and as an incendiary guitarist. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Billy Shaddox | Lyons, Colorado I live and make music in Lyons, Colorado. A few years back I set up a studio at my home and started recording my songs and making them into albums. My vision is to create hand crafted albums, personalized, rich with intention and care, limited in quantity and whenever possible imperfect. Along the way I built a skateboarding halfpipe and started hosting concerts from it, I call it the Rampitheater. I love guitars, skateboarding, painting and drawing, fly fishing, quiet time on the land, being with my wife and kids, a good fire in the wood stove, and taking in the stars at night. Hope you enjoy my musical offerings. Drop me a line or come see me in person. Sincerely, Billy Bio Billy Shaddox is blessed with the ability to blend the western dualities of coastal dreamer and high mountain drifter into his deep, easy flowing songs. This is modern American folk music with pop sensibilities. Rooted in stories of love and fortune lost, perspective and enlightenment gained, Shaddox captures the mystique of the West with indelible lyrical imagery and sharply original musicality: the displaced modern man weary of coping with vanishing ideals, the present-minded realist, the uncontrollable jealousy of the downtrodden miner, and the bright-eyed morning traveler setting out to make his mark on the world. The characters who inhabit Shaddox’ tales have a depth of personality and situational believability that leaves the listener feeling affected by their being long after their songs have woven their course. Shaddox is fresh out of the studio where he recorded a new album with producer Sam Kassirer at Great North Sound Society in Maine. Sam has producered Josh Ritter, Lake Street Dive, David Wax Museum, and Langhorn Slim to name a few, and his collaboration with Billy has resulted in a dynamic album that highlights Shaddox’ song writing and musicianship. Shaddox is a routine traveler, he is a musician, a camper, a skateboarder, and is always taking in what his surroundings are delivering. Keep an eye out for #folkwise, #billyshaddox, and #skateparksacrossamerica, when Billy Shaddox comes to your town you will want to be there! | |

Abel served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army and was based at Fort Leonard Wood. During his time in the U.S. Army, Abel played trombone and baritone horn in the 315th Army Band. When it came time for his Army discharge, Abel moved to Kansas City, where he met pianist and vocalist [a=Bettye Miller]. Miller and Abel began their twenty-plus-year musical romance when they met in 1953. The duo played faithfully at local Kansas City venues such as the Horseshoe Lounge, the Plaza III Restaurant, Putsch’s 210 and the Strawberry Patch as well as national venues such as the Ember’s in New York, Mr. Kelly’s in Chicago and the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. During their years together they also released several recordings. On February 28, 1977, Bettye Miller died of cancer at age 49. After the passing of his first wife, Abel continued his musical career as a bassist in Kansas City. He played with several groups in the city such as the Kansas City Jazz Quintet, the Frank Smith Trio, the Pete Eye Trio, as well as engagements with Bettye’s daughter, [a=Betty Jo Miller]. In 1986, Abel formed the Milt Abel Trio, performing at such Kansas City establishments as the Alameda Plaza Rooftop Lounge, Westin Crown Center Signboard Bar, and the Allis Plaza Hotel 12th Street Room. In 1980, Milt Abel married Linda Erwin. They had two children, son Milton II in 1983 and daughter Chloe-Grant in 1988. Abel and his son were playing gigs together by the time Milton II was six years old. Some of Abel’s greatest achievements include his induction both as an Elderstatesman of Kansas City Jazz and into the KC Jazz Commission’s KC Jazz Hall of Fame, both in 1989; a lifetime Gold Card Membership in Local 34-627 in 1993; and in 2005 was a recipient of the Coda Jazz Fund Lifetime Achievement Award. Milt Abel died on February 3, 2006, at age 77. |

Led by group of 5-time platinum music producer and collaborating artists with 200+ productions / remix projects, Monday Listening Club brings together a group of diverse artists in Vancouver, Hong Kong, New York, London & Los Angeles. Their first art-project release - Lost but found This project captures the energy and optimism of artists, groups, songwriters, producers, and musicians whose stories were buried in the obscurity of the record label machine, for one reason or another. A track that was never explored, an album that collected dust, a track that was a blip in the timeline of musical consumption. Rights that were sold and merged and sold again. Masters missing, diminished quality, liner notes and credits all deleted, buried in the landfills. Magic lost to the dusty shelf of time. Our project is an outsider’s view of these stories, a journey to rediscover what was lost. To breathe fresh air through musical interpolation. A modern day collaboration samples lost vinyl with fresh tracks from around the world to create a connected, personal sound of memories past. All in the blaring sunshine of a Californian Sunday, a residual of the best weekend among friends. Monday Listening Club breathes fresh life into tracks for the “you may also like” generation, fusing together and reworking the dozens of compositions that inspired our project, all woven into something new. Inhale the smell of old dusty vinyl. Walk the overgrown path created by songwriters with stories to tell. Stories lost and found some 50 years later. Patched, sampled, reworked into something new.

| Search | Add | 12 | Ivan Bullock | Ivan Bullock | Ivan was born in the mid 70s and enrolled in Piano and Violin training at a young age in his home town, Canberra. By the teens, he had focused exclusively on Violin, enjoying a point of difference by not just having the only white instrument case in town, but also playing an instrument lovingly crafted by his (now deceased) Father (a part time instrument maker), from a striking African hard wood “Zebrano”. By the age of 18 however, neck injury sustained from prolonged use of the instrument put an end to music creation. Over the next few years Ivan experimented with the digital arts and set about listening to a broad range of music from progressive and metal, through to industrial, ambient, and of course classical. The late 1990′s saw a large personal adjustment and long-term move to Tokyo, which became a catalyst for creativity and learning. The intensity, stress and isolation of central Tokyo living also birthed Mystral Tide, leading to years of experimentation with break-beats, piano and synthesis. Sean Cooper of Zeitgeist Records (Brisbane) produced and funded the first official CD release “Whirlpool of Souls”, which led to performance opportunities in Europe and Japan. Over the next few years two more full albums were released, “Geometry of Loss” a 3 CD set recorded in Tokyo and completed in Melbourne, and “Isle of Narrows” a sorrowful and dark classical journey released in 2009. After returning to Australia and settling in Melbourne, Ivan began investing time and finances into the general support of underground musicians. For over a decade Dawn Industry (formerly Demus), fought against the commercialised and mundane profit-driven music “industry” through a series of Australian events called Enzyme, providing underground artists a release-platform and regular live performance opportunities. |

Frank played banjo (an instrument used by jazz bands) and Ed played chromatic accordion and guitar. Arko used his Slovenian house-name Hojer; the Simončič brothers Anglicized their name to Simms. Calling themselves the [a6964156], they became very popular as they travelled throughout the Midwest playing polka music. They were affiliated with [a8405151] and were recommended to the [l61808] label by him. Their first recordings were made acoustically at the November 1924 session in Cleveland. From 1924 until 1929 they made recordings for all three of the major labels—[l1866], Victor, and [l62753]. In addition to their own, they accompanied Chicago’s [a6936342] on some of their recordings. In all, they released 100 selections. By 1930, the musician’s union was beginning to show its influence in the recording industry. Unwilling to join, Hoyer made no more recordings. Nevertheless, he continued to perform, with different sidemen, into the 1950’s. Besides being musicians, the Simms brothers were professional boxers and Eddie was an actor as well. He had small parts in several motion pictures, usually portraying a boxer or gangster.

| Search | Add | 12 | Jennifer McCray | Jennifer McCray is a singer / songwriter. Growing up as a part of a musical family, Jennifer's father being a successful recording artist landing a number 1 hit in the 70's with the song "Rock your baby" had given her the opportunity to experience music at a very young age. Jennifer started writing poetry at the young age of 6 years old and has been given singing lessons as well as singing in the church choir . Born in Miami Beach Florida, Jennifer moved to Canada (where her mother is from) and at 17 ventured off to Europe for the first time where her father was living. During a recording session in a studio in Belgium, Jennifer met her future manager Ronny Flas who exclusively signed her as an artist of TSP Records. From then on Jennifer decided to pursue a career in music by experimenting with different styles and writing all her own songs. She got the chance to work in Metropolis studios in London with her first single "Do Anything" a song written by Hawk Wolinski. After a lot of work in songwriting for herself and for other artists as Silvano for which she composed the song "Encore" that reached N°3 in the charts, Jennifer is really concentrating on her debut album. The first single released out of this album was "Connected". It reached N°2 in the charts. After the singles "Connected", "In Your Head" and "Letting Me Go" Jennifer will soon release her first album. | |
