Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Serpicon3 | Andrea Spineda | Serpicon3, aka Andrea, is an electronic producer hailing from Rome, Italy. This talented musician started playing around and having fun with music in the far 1990 as a Dj. He even got a job in a club as a resident Dj in 1992. After harvesting the fruits of this job, he invested all the money into various music instruments : The main goal was to push his productions farther and hopefully make money in the music industry as a dance producer. Serpicon3 never reached that goal so far.. but he also never gave up with music and this is why I truly think he'll make it. Working mostly with Propellerheads Reason to make his music, Serpicon3 has got into many various electronic genre. Nevertheless, his public releases are only dance oriented tracks. Surely the music trends have a big impact on his style, but it's also important to mention that all the electronic music from the 80's are still an even bigger inspiration for him. Nowadays, Serpicon3 as an amateur Dj produces for himself, for passion, and for everyone that want to listen to his works. Bio courtesy of thebbcmusic |

Search | Add | 4 | Lennie Miles | Vocalist Lenny Miles, born in Forth Worth, Texas on December 22, 1934, is one of those One-Hit Wonders who, once you hear his Sam Cooke-quality vocals, you just know would have gone on to greater things had cancer not claimed him in 1962 at age 27. The hit was Don’t Believe Him, Donna, written by Luther Dixon who also arranged and conducted the orchestra backing, and in March 1961 it peaked at # 28 R&B and just missed the Billboard Pop Hot 100 Top 40 when it stalled at # 41 as Scepter 1212 b/w Invisible, also penned by Dixon. In fact, Luther wrote/co-wrote all 4 sides of Lenny’s two releases at Scepter, the other being In Between Tears b/w I Know Love as Scepter 1218, released in April. Strangely, the uptempo In Between Tears stalled at # 84 Hot 100 in May 1961 and made no impact at all on the R &B listings. Even so, the giant RCA Victor saw (and heard) enough to realize his potential with the right material and promotion and brought him on board in 1962, cutting at least 6 sides at his first studio session. starting with the powerful Living Dream, produced by Ray Ellis and backed by his orchestra and chorus. That was paired with Donna’s Gone as RCA Victor 47-8011 and released in March. Sadly, he lost his battle with cancer even as the song began to get some attention and in the end it did not chart nationally. RCA Victor then released the other 4 sides he had cut on their Groove subsidiary, changing the spelling of his first name to “Lennie” - starting with the pairing of Hercules b/w Stay With Me (Groove 58-0001) in July, and I Wouldn’t Be Here b/w Mind Your Own Biz (Groove 58-0010) in August (extracted from Amazon Reviewer - George O'Leary - comments section)

Search | Add | 4 | Nadrealisti | Top lista nadrealista ("The Top List of the Surrealists", sometimes "The Surrealists' Chart Toppers")—also known as TLN or Nadrealisti ("Surrealists")—is a Yugoslav sketch comedy and variety television show. Produced by TV Sarajevo, it aired on the nationwide Yugoslav Radio Television (JRT) public broadcasting system in three separate instalments between 1984 and 1991, having originated from a weekly fifteen-minute local radio comedy segment that was part of the Primus program on Radio Sarajevo's channel two from 1979 until 1985. In 1984, after establishing a core radio audience locally in the city of Sarajevo, Top lista nadrealista radio segment got spun off into a television sketch series. Two more series on television followed, in 1989 and 1991, making household names of its protagonists all over SFR Yugoslavia and helping launch and solidify successful television, film, and musical careers for some of them (most notably Nele Karajlić and Branko "Đuro" Đurić). Although eventually best known for insightful and often prophetic political humour, TLN initially relied mostly on its protagonists' youthful improvisation and ad-libbing for laughs while staying away from politics entirely. Towards the late 1980s and into the early 1990s—during the show's second and third series, respectively—a period during which some of its most memorable and enduring sketches were created, Top lista nadrealista incorporated political satire while infusing their social satire with additional surrealist and black comedy. The show's 1989-1991 popularity is reflected in some of its sketches' language and phrasing entering public vernacular (see Hrkljuš). In the late 1980s and early 1990s, a number of TLN sketches dealt with the deteriorating political situation in Yugoslavia that turned out to be a prelude to the Yugoslav Wars with some sketches proving prophetic, portraying a dystopian near-future—featuring the Yugoslav state being disintegrated, the city of Sarajevo divided between different newly-established states, a single family split into two clans warring over control of rooms in their apartment, UN peacekeeping forces adding fuel to the conflict, etc.—years before it became reality. In the context of the Yugoslav Wars that had already begun as the show's third series was being filmed, Nadrealisti held a clear pacifist posture, often using absurdity and dark hyperbole when portraying rising ethnic tensions and imminent war in SR Bosnia and Herzegovina (e.g. warning that "peace may break out and ruin Bosnian harmonious war" or giving alarming instructions on "how the public should act in case of peace").

Search | Add | 4 | Ansuman Roy | ANSUMAN ROY (1936-1990) Date of Birth – 19th August 1936, Jhargram, West Bengal, India Place of Work - Bengali Classical and Folk and Contemporary Music Family: Parents – Late Rampada Roy, Late Bibhabati Roy Spouse – Late Kamala Roy Children – Bhaskar Roy, Antar Roy, Meita Guha Roy Education – Kumud Kumari Institute, Jhargram Raj College Ansuman Roy was considered as one of the most eminent Bengali versatile singer who had enriched Bengali Music with a huge number of varieties. Though most people remember him as a Legendary folk artist but his devotional songs, Nazrulgeeti and Modern Bengali songs (Swarna-Juger Gaan, Songs of the Bengali Golden Period) were equally popular and was marked as all-time hit music. Early Life Ansuman Roy was born and brought up in Jhargram, now a district of West Bengal on 19th August 1936. As a kid, he had a huge interest in Bengali music. His music training was started by one of his uncle (father’s friend) in his locality. Though music reign in his gene, at that moment there was no one in his family who was directly associated with music. Later on, Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh trained him on Bengali Light music. In his early life, he was a Radio- Artist and was frequently audible at All India Radio (AIR India, Akashvani). During this period he was involved in various research work on Bengali folk, especially the folk music of Radh-Bengal (South West Bengal). He played the pioneering role to introduce the flavour of Jhumur-Vadu-Tusu to the urbanized world. His kin interest in instrument was also well known. The Santhali instrument Madal was a regular component of his music composition. The first music record of Ansuman Roy was recorded in 1971 from Hindusthan Record. Music Career In his Music Career he had worked with many legendary figures of Bengal, such as- Prabir Majumder, Sudhin Dasgupta, Gauri Prasanna Majumder, Aloknath Dey, Pulak Bandyopadhyay, Shibdas Bandopaddhyay, Hemanta Mukherjee, Manna De, Manabendra Mukherjee, Shyamal Mitra, Sandhya Mukherjee, Nirmala Mishra Banashree Sengupta, Arati Mukherjee and many other contemporary artists. His tonal quality, the pitch of voice, clarity in music makes him different from others and people considered him as a genius in Bengal folk music. His genre of music is highly adopted by young musicians and is used by many banners even today. But the only grievance in this pretext is that they forget to acknowledge the name of this legendary composer. One of his most remarkable work on music and also on the socio-political aspect for the War of Independence of Bangladesh (Muktiyuddha of Bangladesh) was “Shono Ekti Mujibarer Theke”. This song is considered as one of the main patriotic songs in Bangladesh and is sang after the National Anthem - “Amar Sonar Bangla Ami Tomai Valobasi”. The lyrics of this song was written by Gauri Prasanna Majumder, and Ansuman Roy composed the music and sang this song. He was felicitated with Bangabandhu Gold Medal in 1975 for this historical song. In 1978 he won the Best Male Singer Award for the film Charmurti for the song “Ghochang Fu, Khabo Toke”. Originally from Lancashire, he joined the music industry playing the organ in music halls and cinemas. By the 1960s he had moved into management and talent spotting, operating from an office suite in London's Regent Street. Easton met [a=Andrew Loog Oldham] in 1963; Oldham wanted to sign an unknown band, called the Rolling Stones, about whom he was enthusiastic. After a number of problems on an American tour, in 1965 Oldham decided to oust Easton from the partnership and bring in New York promotor Allen Klein. Oldham persuaded members of the group to support him and Easton was sacked. The band, with the exception of [a=Bill Wyman], acquiesced. Easton launched a number of lawsuits for breach of contract, and eventually settled out of court for a large sum. In 1980 he and his family emigrated to Naples, Florida, where he went into business; his son, Paul, also became a music manager and booking agent.

Search | Add | 4 | psAux | Sebastian I. Hartmann | Starting in the mid 1990s as "aGe2.1" with a musty, darker industrial-ish style and a rather minimalist sound setup, Sebastian I. Hartmann eventually began leaning towards turn of the millenium-techno in the early 2000s. The departure from the cold atmosphere of the city of Hamburg in 2009 was inevitably to be artistically reflected. After leaving northern germany, now in his newly adopted homeland of bavaria, he re-invented himself as PSAUX. Conflating old and new experimental threads, adding a pinch of acid house and a sprinkle of the good old Industrial-EBM. After a decade on his way, PSAUX has his coming out as a trippy mixture of minimalist styles in a deep mindset. |

Their debut album, which was released in 1995, is entitled "Ghetto Soldiers". It's a local classic. A must have if you like that mid-90's indie gangsta rap. South Side Posse returned in 2000 with "Anticipation Of Death". This album is dedicated to the late D-Man. It's another banger, featuring Brotha Lynch Hung & Loki from Sac-Town and E-Skool & Dun Deala from the Veteran Click. A third album, thought be called "Friends", was recorded in the early 2000's but it never came out... Of the members, only Mon-E-G pursued a noticeable solo career, releasing several albums & collaborating with Freeway on many occasions.

Search | Add | 4 | Sadavada | At the beginning, graphic expression became necessary for SV. To express without words, those feelings and emotions. After an introspective trip, they began to discover aspects of themselves that remained hidden. The idea of keeping one’s inner child forever and the magnetism towards Japanese iconography from the 90’s and the 2000s, impregnated their work. SV uses plastic media such as engraving, watercolors, Chinese ink and now, exploring new horizons in digital illustration.
