Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Тут все: куча скретча, тексты про уличную жизнь, верность хип-хопу возведенная в абсолют и все это без скатывания в вызывающую рвотный рефлекс "пацанчик-райончик-планчик" стилистику. Cabot | Cabot started out as a weekend deejay for WALT when he was just 15 and still a student at Tampa, Florida's Hillsborough High School, and also put in some time with country station WYOU. He went on to establish [l1193424] and founded the [l512864] and [l66215] labels in the mid to late 60’s for recording local talent. No national hits resulted from the Paris Tower recordings made at H&H Studios in Tampa; however, Sundi came through with a huge smash in 1969, recorded at Charles Fuller Productions on MacDill Avenue. Sundi’s biggest (and only) hit is credited to Mercy, a local group from East Bay High School in Gibsonton. Their smash "Love (Can Make You Happy)" was released in two different versions – the first version, recorded and released by Cabot on Sundi Records, and a second version released on a major label, Warner Brothers, which signed the group for a full-length album (1969’s "Forever") while simultaneously releasing a re-recorded “Love (Can Make You Happy)” single. |

Well, if you're [a=Dale Crover] of (the) [a=Melvins] & [a=Bob Hannam] (director of the 2016 doc, The Colossus of Destiny- A Melvins Tale), you form the side project, Cabbage 'N Mash & do just that. Then you head over to longtime Melvins producer/engineer [a=Toshi Kasai]'s studio (who also pulls triple duty by taking over keyboards on the album), pull the pin & let the magic happen.

Search | Add | 4 | Hans Peter Neergård | Hans Peter Neergård (born 1957) grew up in Vatne, a small village on the west coast of Norway. His parents were very active in music, and they were always singing and playing in the house. Hans Peter started playing the piano as soon as he was tall enough to reach the keys, and made his own small melodies from an early age. He often tried to recreate the music he heard on radio, but also received classical piano training. He learned the foundational piano technique these years, but never enjoyed playing by scores. It was more fun to play freely, to play what you heard, or learn the music by ear. Hans Peter also picked up the saxophone, first through the local marching band, but later at several jazz seminars at Molde, a small city known for its jazz festivals. He soon understood that reading scores was important even in jazz music, it helped the musicians communicate. One of the first songs Hans Peter put down on paper was from this period: «Kaktus» from ’78. Later Hans Peter Neergård composed more music and wrote more scores. His compositions are often related to jazz, both rhythmically and harmonically, but can also be traced back to Nordic folk music. He composed for piano, saxophone quartet and orchestras, and many of the songs were performed by local bands and musicians. Six of the songs on this LP were released in the score book «My rhythmic piano», self-released by Hans Peter in 1997. In addition to releasing written scores, Neergård often dreamt about putting some of his music on a record to allow more people to hear it. He’s had his music scores on the shelves for years, but in January 2022 he gathered the courage to record 12 of his own songs in the local studio on a Steinway grand piano. Hans Peter Neergård is the father of [a3317509] and [a9449920].

The band is known for energetic and over the top live shows. The frontman has been compared with GG Allin and Hank Von Hell, amongst others, because of his uncompromising and sometimes over the top appearance. Meanwhile, the band plays tight and hard, and rock the socks off the audience. The band was formerly known as Project Herpes, but changed line-up and name after releasing the self-entitled EP called HRPS

Search | Add | 4 | Ready D | Deon T Daniels | Ready D - real name Deon - was born in District Six, Cape Town. Growing up on the desolate Cape Flats, Deon, was constantly surrounded by gangs, poverty and a lack of identity - a legacy of the forced removals from District Six. During his teens, however, Deon found refuge with the beginnings of the Hip Hop culture, and started breakdancing. At the age of 15 he joined a crew - Ballastic Rockers - which featured Ramone, Jazmo and Gogga who would later also combine to form POC. A turning point in Deon's career was a trip to Liverpool, England, sponsored by a friend. Here Deon, came into contact with some of the top DJ's plying their trade at the time. On returning to Cape Town, Deon acquired his first pair of Lenco turntables ... it was the birth of Ready D the DJ. ...In 1990 Ready D entered the South African National DJ Championship ... he has won it three times since, and remains the most skilled and versatile Hip Hop DJ in South Africa. Also known as The Black Battle Cat and DJ X-Plode. |

Search | Add | 4 | Cori Brewster | Cori Brewster was born and raised in Banff, the Rocky Mountain resort town in Alberta, where the Brewster family has resided for over 120 years. She began singing with her mom and sisters on Rocky Mountain trail rides. Like all young women do, Cori left home to experience life outside this small town, carrying with her that profound `sense of place’ wherever she went. Brewster entered Red Deer College to study Physical Education but after graduating from University of Alberta, with a Bachelor of Physical Education, the pull of music was tugging at her soul. Cori moved to Winnipeg to begin her journey, recording her first singles that began her foray into country music. Several of Cori’s singles achieved chart topping success. In 1994, Cori hit the ground running with the release of `One More Mountain’. With appearances at the Calgary Stampede, The Tommy Hunter Show, Merritt Country Festival,Whistler Roots Festival and many hours on the road, `One More Mountain’ was a hit. With a successful tour of Germany, an official showcase at SXSW and a nomination for female artist of the year by the Alberta Recording Industry recognition as a singer songwriter solidified. The response for her video’s, `Spin on a Red Brick Floor’ and `Good as Gone’ was great, both achieved high rotation on CMT and Country Beat. Cori’s commitment to the music industry was cemented. `Buffalo Street’ Cori’s 4th CD reflect her continuing commitment to the craft of songwriting and attention to detail that so effectively evokes a time, a sense of place, a character and of course a range of emotion. `Buffalo Street’ is a collection of beautiful stories inspired by the rich history of the Canadian Rockies and its people. Songs cover a diverse range of subjects and characters from the personal to the historical and from the genealogical to geographical. [excerpts from http://coribrewster.com/bio.pdf]
