Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Peter Sando | Peter A. Sando Jr. | Singer/Songwriter, Peter Sando emerged in the late 60's from the band Gandalf, formerly the Rahgoos prior to the LP release, appearing at various New York clubs such as "The Phone Booth", Scott Muni's "Rolling Stone", "The Electric Circus", Murray the K's "World", and the legendary "Night Owl Cafe" in Greenwich Village. It was there that he met songwriters Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon ("Happy Together", "She'd Rather Be With Me") who brought the band to the attention of record producers Koppelman & Rubin. K&R signed the band and immediately started work on the GANDALF album which was released on the Capitol label in 1969, with two songs penned by Peter. "Can You Travel in the Dark Alone" was a favorite of the late Allison Steele, "The Nightbird", on WNEW-FM New York, who would introduce it with a lengthy dose of her inimitable psychedelic poetry. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 1968 before the original LP was released. At that time Peter again teamed up with Bonner and Gordon to sing lead on two singles including their "Dance at St. Francis" as the Barracuda on RCA which charted briefly in 1968. Recent solo albums include Creatures Of Habit (1999), Afraid Of The Dark (2014), and Let There Be Love (2015). |

Having cut his teeth in the heavy metal realm with ‘Point Blank,’ Muller’s transition to industrial rock marked a pivotal moment in his artistic journey. In 2013, he took the plunge and founded 22HERTZ, unleashing their debut album, Detonate, upon the world. The reception was electrifying, with fans and critics alike lauding their unique blend of robust rhythms and infectious melodies. But for Muller and his bandmates, Detonate was just the beginning. Their latest offering, Adrenochrome, represents a quantum leap forward in their sonic evolution. Here, Muller’s mastery shines through as he deftly weaves together diverse musical influences, creating a tapestry of sound that is both mesmerizing and boundary-pushing. It’s more than just an album — it’s a statement of intent, a declaration that 22HERTZ is not content to rest on their laurels but is committed to pushing the envelope and exploring new sonic territories. What sets Adrenochrome apart is not just its musicality but its conceptual depth. Each track is a journey unto itself, inviting listeners to explore uncharted emotional landscapes and challenge preconceived notions of what rock music can be. It’s a testament to Muller’s vision for 22HERTZ — a vision that is unbound by convention and fueled by a relentless drive to innovate and inspire. Central to 22HERTZ’s meteoric rise has been its embrace of the digital age. Through the power of the internet, they’ve been able to connect with fans across the globe, transcending geographical boundaries and spreading their message of musical revolution far and wide. This is a testament to the universal appeal of their sound and the transformative power of their music—a power that shows no signs of waning. But 22HERTZ is more than just a band; they’re a movement, a force for change in an industry often resistant to innovation. Their electrifying live performances are legendary, leaving audiences spellbound and hungry for more. It’s a testament to their dedication to their craft and their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in rock music. As they continue their journey, 22HERTZ remains committed to their core values of innovation, creativity, and authenticity. They invite listeners to join them on this journey, to become part of a movement reshaping the landscape of industrial rock and inspiring a new generation of musicians to dream big and defy expectations. So, whether you’re a seasoned rock aficionado or a curious newcomer, I urge you to experience the magic of 22HERTZ for yourself. Dive into the sonic world they’ve created and let yourself be swept away by the power of their music. In the hands of Ralf Muller and his bandmates, rock music isn’t just a genre—it’s a revolution waiting to happen.

| Search | Add | 4 | Tjuva | Sweden EDM act, formed by Emmy Altemyr and Jasmina Mujcinovic. Meet the newest female duo that’s turning heads in dance music: Tjuva. Although freshly established on Facebook and Soundcloud, these girls have been working hard together since Tjuva’s inception nearly two years ago. Both members, Emmy Altemyr and Jasmina Mujcinovic, were on the solo DJ career path when they first met. Attending a production course in Ibiza back in 2012, Emmy and Jasmina connected instantly after meeting; and soon the girls decided to join forces and fulfill their dreams of producing their own dance music. Now back in Sweden, the collective work of Tjuva is alive and the duo is ready to release their first original track, entitled Euphony, on October 8th. Check out the preview video to Euphony below! On top of putting in the major studio time, these two are keeping their momentum alive by playing gigs all over Sweden including the upcoming Life In Color in Umea. The lineup holds a spot for Tjuva alongside big names including Adrian Lux, Sebjak, Rebecca & Fiona and more. Their debut track Euphony is set to release on Link Music, a branch of Sony, setting these girls up for success – so long as they stay true to their vision and continue to develop their unique style. Keep your eyes on these two; with the rarity and increasing demand of solid females behind the decks, Tjuva could potentially be the next female mainstay in electronic dance music. They soon met Bryan Clark (vocals), a Richmond-born vocalist whom they met through Meredith's sister. The band recorded and mixed their first L.P. entitled "Funk Shui", that was comprised of raw demo songs compiled on one disk which they released on June 29th, 2004. Blending rock, funk, reggae, jazz, hip hop, and folk in an eclectic ensemble of riffs, melodies, and grooves. With rhythms from the Caribbean, to Southern rock break downs, Downbeat Switch became known for their quick changes, tight rhythmic melodies, scat-like vocal harmonies, and high-energy live shows around Virginia. In 2005, Doug DeForge (keyboard, turntables), another Mathews, VA native joined the band and the band recorded a follow-up album entitled: "Seconds", which they released on July 6th of 2005. Downbeat Switch continued to tour around Virginia and North Carolina for the following three years until Doug left the band in the Fall of 2008. Tommy Vinson (keyboard), another Richmond-born musician and friend of Meredith's joined the group in the Winter of 2008. They began writing and recording in their new studio they had built in the West End of Richmond at Wayne and Meredith's house. Downbeat Switch released their third self-produced album entitled: "Run from the Sun" on June 5th, 2009. During the recording sessions of "Run from the Sun", the band brought in a talented female guest vocalist named Jenna Bayly, to add backup vocals to a few tracks on the album. She worked out beautifully in the songs she was on, and the band asked her to start performing shows with the group full time. In the Winter of 2010, Bryan left the group after 7 years as the frontman, and Jenna stepped up to become the lead vocalist with Meredith and Tommy singing backup. She brought a whole new sound and image to the band, and inspired the group to embark on a different level of musicianship. Jenna strived to diversify the sound and lyrics on new songs, while also staying true to the rich harmonies with Meredith that the band had always been known for. On October 1st, 2010, the band released an EP entitled: "The Red Door Sessions" that featured Jenna on lead vocals on 8 previously recorded and released songs from "Run from the Sun", as well as minor mixing and mastering adjustments were done. The EP was released for free at live shows and as a free download on several of the band's websites. "The Red Door Sessions" was very well received and the group was able to distribute hundreds of physical copies just within a few months. In the Winter of 2011, after 9 years as the co-founder and drummer for the group, Michael parted ways with DbS to pursue his career in marketing and embarked on an extensive U.S. tour with a promotion company. But with his recommendation and wholehearted support, the band asked their long-time friend and supporter, Rob Reardon to pick up the drumsticks. With Rob's diverse drum styles and seasoned skills, he was the perfect fit for Downbeat Switch. Shortly after Rob joined the group, Tommy stepped down as the keyboardist and was replaced by Sean Reese. A local Richmond musician who was eager to add his own flavor to the groups already diverse sound. Since then, the band continues to write, record, and perform their music for their fans all over. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Triple s Aruba | Triple S | Triple “S” which stands for Super Solid Sound was founded in 1981, with their first public performance on Tuesday, June 9, 1981, at the Watapana Festival. The goal of the band from the beginning is: TO PROMOTE THE CULTURE OF ARUBA THROUGH MUSIC. The great support Triple “S” received from the start gave them the push to begin recording their compositions on disc. That same year Triple “S” recorded their first 45 with the successful song “TUMA TUR”, followed by “SIGI ASINA”. The rhythm of both compositions is “ARUDANS”, a style created by Triple “S”. In 1982 Triple “S” was awarded on various occasions as best band of the year. The band won, among others, the “GOLD ARUBA AWARD”, “FRIENDSHIP AWARD”, and also the “BASHUL AWARD”. During Carnival ’83 they were again awarded as the best band of the year. As a token of appreciation, the band Triple “S” dedicated their first Long Play to the people of Aruba, introducing with it the rhythm “ARUDANS”, which is a very good rhythm for Carnival parades. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Richie Mayer | Richie Mayer | Coming out of the trend-setting 1980 Chicago PowerPop / New Wave scene that included Pezband, Cheap Trick & Shoes, Richie’s group Loose Lips released their EP “Hung Up On Pop” with Grammy award-winning producer Michael Freeman. Loose Lips created its own scene for the next two years with an enthusiastic fan base, memorable shows, frequent radio play, and a number of cable and TV performances that included an AM Chicago Rate-A-Record appearance hosted by Dick Clark. Slipping into another musical skin, in 1986 Mayer formed the Dark Pop group PushPush and soon recorded the album “World On Fire.” A reaction to the music industry’s slide into big hair, loud clothes and tepid songwriting, Mayer plumbed the moodier side of pop while still penning catchy melodies graced with wry observations on the human condition. A new direction again presented itself in the early ’90’s when Mayer became a songwriter and producer for BMG Music Publishing in Toronto, Canada. In collaboration with BMG A&R head David Bendeth, the group Love And Sas won Juno Awards (Canadian Grammys) in 1991 and 1992 for R & B Song of the Year with Mayer and Bendeth’s songs and production. In early 2000 the creative muse beckoned again, this time luring Mayer in a different direction; architecture. Designing and building modern, ecologically sound homes became a passion and Mayer found that composing simple, flowing spaces was much like writing and arranging songs; “If you strip away artifice” Mayer offered, “the truth reveals itself.” A development deal with Epic Records led to a songwriting, production and publishing deal for Mayer with BMG Music in Toronto, Canada. Many songs, recordings and productions now brings us to 2021 and the release of his first solo album, The Inn of Temporary Happiness. |

His passion for poetry and debating, with the assistance of his uncles who listened to Rap music ignited his love for the art-form. That’s when SeezNation came to be! He used to watch other battle rappers doing ciphers at school, and that assisted him in perfecting his freestyle. A “battle call out” with a school mate who was considered the “illest MC” (Prodigy) at the time made SeezNation take writing seriously. The would later form a group known as “FBI” performing in school shows and hosting their own ciphers. They shared the same passion and started writing songs using ”Beats” from Rappers like Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Bishop Lamont amongst others. SeezNation started creating his own beats and got better as time went on. He would also book studio time to record his music. He relocated to Soweto in 2014 (White City Jabavu) to stay with his great grandmother, which affected the group (FBI) due to distance, during this time SeezNation would meet and collaborate with other artists/producers and later decided to release his music under his own record label Indygo Entertainment. His debut EP: My Moment features producer “39Thirty” and rapper “O2“. The EP was released on 1st September 2019, with more to follow. |
