Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 9 | Jazzlib | Taking it back to that real hip hop you gotta touch and feel. The pure essence of droppin' science. Jazzlib, tribe of the Sun. "Jazzlib embodies the values of nature, creativity, one-ness, funk, soul, expression, spontaneity and all-happening. Experiencing the worldly expressions as beautiful flowers that resemble sea urchin barb. It was a mistake that would rule them all because it was the only one that tried." ~Charlie Wellington Cumbersworth the 3rd The Jazzlib is about having fun and reuniting the elements of hip hop that aren't as well integrated these days: MCing, DJing, BBoying and Graff Writting. In the eyes of the Jazzlibs, what's lacking will not be found by changing the music and replicating the golden age, instead it will be found by changing the culture. When the culture supports, promotes and internalizes the values of what Hip-Hop really is (peace, love, unity, respect, having fun) The community attains a level of collective Be-Ness (the ability to be) and the second wave of the golden age will begin. These values constitute a communal environment of infinite creative potential where anything is possible beyond your wildest dreams. The Jazzlib call this place Slumberland and indulge deep into its mystery on their incredibly produced hit track "Jazzlibs In Slumberland" off of their What It Shall Be EP. With this love and acceptance woven into the threading of our culture, mistakes are allowed and become encouraged. The Jazzlib movement states "The greatest threat to creativity in any circumstance is the fear of "making a mistake" and that couldn't be any more true. Its a silly thing to think that something is wrong just because we don't have the means to understand it yet at that moment. This is where the next Jazzlib value enters the spotlight. "Nonsense". Our intellectual understanding of reality is born from symbols/words. Our intellectual understanding of reality is not prescriptive, it is descriptive just as language is. Just as language comes into creation and evolves to describe the infinite so does our culture evolve in the same way. Creation originates as nothing more than an awareness that no words are able to describe, a realization unrecognizable by the mind. A mystery that hides itself in the non-sensory realm because that's where it prefers to be. When nonsense is practiced new methods of understanding are developed and mistakes then become the greatest of creations. | |

Hawk and John continued to write songs together and were subsequently discovered and signed by Private Music/BMG, a small new age LA record label venturing into the world of pop music by signing artists like Jennifer Warnes, Taj Mahal and Ringo Starr. Their debut album was released worldwide in 1992 by Private Music/BMG. Mainly recorded in Seattle and LA, their self-titled record includes heavy focus on harmony vocals produced by Grammy Award-winning Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) and Michael Omartian with help from Glen Ballard. The album yielded a Billboard-charting single in “Throw It All Away” and a significant radio hit with “Wasting My Time”, selling over a quarter-million copies and featured on multiple “Gold” collections released by BMG in 1994 and Island Records in 1995. Contributing musicians on the album include Michael Thompson, Greg Leisz, Steve Berlin, Andy Kravitz and Tim Lerch. In 2023, bounce the ocean returned with a collection of never-before-released mixes of favorite bounce the ocean songs including “It Just Gets Better” and “Wasting My Time” as well as unheard demos featuring legendary Andrew Gold (“Thank You for Being a Friend”) and a never before heard track, “First I’ll Take You” – a snappy danceable powerpop song featuring world-renowned drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Cougar Mellencamp), Neil Stubenhaus on bass, Randy Waldman’s blistering grand piano solo and Jerry Hey’s classic horn section, produced by Grammy Award-winning musician and songwriter, Clif Magness.

A selection of strong influences: Watching Westbam live remixing a Madonna tune using three turntables at the same time stuck to his mind. The use of real life samples and turn it into music by Depeche Mode and The Art Of Nose. | Search | Add | 9 | Gosia Bartosik | Gosia Bartosik | Gosia Bartosik (b. 1986) is an artist working in the medium of drawing, painting, installation, linocut and tattooing. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Printmaking at the University of Arts in Poznań in 2012, and she is currently a doctoral student at the same school. Her works are featured in solo and group exhibitions, print publications, street art and other activities going “outside galleries”. Bartosik’s works are a critical commentary to human sensitivity and insensitivity. The artist ask questions about the human condition and points to the way of treating the world, animals and other people. She conveys her observations usually in misshapen forms, “not entirely human, not entirely animal, biologically broken”. Bartosik is one of the foremost promoters of contemporary drawing in Poland. As the artist emphasizes herself, drawing is a separate language and delight. It provides opportunity to exist between several realities. |

Hanseatische) Nr. 162 in 1902. He played clarinet and bassoon, in addition to piano and violin. Later, he served with other regiments in Schneidemühl and Spandau. In 1910, he was sent to the Royal Academy for Music in Berlin-Charlottenburg, graduating in 1913. That same year, he was promoted to Musikmeister (band master) and transferred to the Pionier-Bataillon Nr. 28 in Küstrin, with which he served in World War I. In 1916, however, he transferred once more, to Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 35. For his efforts during the war, he was awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class. After the war, Tumforde managed to stay on with the new Reichswehr for a while. At the same time, he founded the marching bands of the Wuppertal police and the Düsseldorf police (1919); in addition, he directed police bands in Hamm and Stettin. Between 1925 and 1934, he led a civilian brass band in Stettin, Pomerania. On July 3, 1934, Tumforde was not only reactivated, but promoted Obermusikmeister, leading the band of the I. Battalion of the 9th (Prussian) Infantry Regiment in Potsdam. With this band, he played at the 1934 NSDAP party congress (Reichsparteitag) in Nuremberg. In 1936, Tumforde became the head of the [a=Musikkorps Des Infanterie-Lehr-Regiments] (band of the infantry training regiment), which was stationed in the Olympic Village in Berlin and played for foreign athletes during the Olympic Games. As a result, Tumforde, promoted to Stabsmusikmeister on November 1, 1938, became popular and made a number of recordings with his band for [l=Gloria], [l=Grammophon], and [l=Polydor] between 1936 and 1941. In 1942, when parts of his Lehr-Regiment joined the Infantry Division "Großdeutschland", Tumforde briefly took over the band of Infantry Regiment 178. When he reached age 60, he retired on Juli 1, 1942 and settled in Rathenow near Berlin. After the war, he moved back to Düsseldorf.

Zet). |
