Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Born to a Venezuelan mother and Curaçaoan father, I$KI discovered hip-hop through his older brother who was a DJ at the time. Having played Cuatro, a Venezuelan instrument as a child, I$KI first took to deejaying, focusing mainly on Dub and Reggae/Reggaeton, he first made a name for himself spinning Bubbling, a form of speed-up dancehall popular in Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles, before taking on rapping at age 17. He formed a rap group called "Camouflage Dalinkwentz", whose songs got some local airplay, and joined a DJ crew called "Spike Sound" with long time friend MENA$A. Together they released a Bubbling track by the name of "Lancer", which gained noteriety among the local youth in 1999. That same year [a=Menasa], Golsa, Nok Blok and Iski formed the group IMMO, short for IMMORALES, performing hip-hop songs in their native language Papiamento, gaining popularity across the ABC Islands (Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire). In 2003 I$ki relocated to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, having released several mix-tapes and albums, individually as well as with his group Immorales on his own independent Ganja-Inc Productions imprint. | |

| Search | Add | 9 | DC Fontana | British alternative band formed by songwriter Mark Mortimer in the mid 1990s who only rose to prominence with their critically-acclaimed debut album 'Six Against Eight' on the DCTone Records in 2010. The group hails from central England and is known for having a continuously evolving line up while featuring a number of different vocalists. 'Six Against Eight' had followed hot on the heels of a limited edition 7" vinyl featuring the group's off-kilter Hammond organ instrumental 'The Contessa' which was paired by 'Snake Charmer,' the latter written by Donald Ross Skinner and Paul Kennedy. Skinner, the long-time producer and guitarist with Julian Cope, has produced all the group's releases and occasionally appears with the group on stage. Since 2013 Skinner has taken a more active role within the band. Kennedy was once with the alternative rock band Salad. The debut album was recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, England at the suggestion of Echo & The Bunnymen guitarist Will Sergeant who then supported the band by acting as a DJ at a record release party on Merseyside. 'Six Against Eight' featured compositions by Mortimer and keys player Scott Riley who had previously performed with Spectrum, the occasional solo project by Pete Kember of Spacemen 3. Original DC Fontana guitarist Neil Jones contributed two songs on the 14-tracks strong album which prominently featured horns and Hammond organ together with more experimental material including a collaboration with the internationally renowned Indian sarangi maestro Surinder Sandhu. German classical composer Christian Badzura of Deutsche Gramophon scored the strings which were played by members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Lead vocal duties were shared by Karla Milton and Riley. The record was accompanied by an ambitious short film shot at the Italianate village of Portmeirion in North Wales by London boutique film company Anotherschmuck. Another limited edition single followed in the shape of 'Meshkalina,' a cover of the Peruvian psychedelic rock classic by Traffic Sound and also featuring remixes of 'The Contessa' by Lack of Afro and of the title track by G. Corp. Also featured on the release was another Skinner/Kennedy composition, 'It Don't Worry Me.' Released in 2011, DC Fontana's next release was 'La Contessa' which was sung mostly in French and Italian by acclaimed jazz singer Kicca Ancdriollo. The CD and digital release came out on DCTone with a 12" vinyl edition from Teen Beat Records in Rome, Italy. Some of the songs were alternative versions of songs which first appeared on 'Six Against Eight' with the addition of new material and two cover versions ('Se Telefonando' written by Ennio Morricone, Maurizio Costanzo and Ghigo De Chiara plus Eddie Harris' 'Listen Here'). The group toured incessantly and returned to the studio to produce 'The Pentagram Man EP' in 2013 with a guest appearance by 60s & 70s star Don Fardon (ex The Sorrows) who also joined the band live on stage in front of a huge audience outdoors in León, northern Spain during August of that year. The EP was supported by another short film and came out on DCTone (CD & digital) and Heavy Soul (7"). As well as two version of the Mortimer-penned 'Pentagram Man' (one sung by Fardon, the other by Louise Turner), the record featured another Mortimer composition, 'DevilAngel' together with Riley's 'Satisfied (Part One)', the folky 'What Would It take?' written by guitarist Tony Russell and a trippy collaboration between Mortimer and Skinner called 'Sighed D.C.' After the release of 'Pentagram Man' Mortimer was asked to join the reformed Sorrows by Fardon and featured on their 2014 release 'Gonna Find A Cave' on Rise Above Records. Since 'Pentagram Man,' DC Fontana took an enforced sabbatical due to the ill health of Mortimer but began recording again 2015. Mortimer and Skinner have been working hard in London on a large number of tunes towards what will be the group's next release . | |

Growing up in a family steeped in Georgian musical tradition and art, as the grandchild of the famous national singer and actor Temur Tsiklauri and son of famous poet & novelist David Dephy, Andro's artistic journey was profoundly influenced by his heritage, spurring a passion for creative expression. Inspired by Georgian myths and legends, esotericism, mysticism, earth, unity, truth and the secrets of the universe, Saphileaum's music & DJ sets blend various musical genres and elements including: Ambient, Downtempo, Tribal, House, Techno, Balearic, Half-Beat and New Age, taking the listener to expeditions as above, so below. His sound alchemy can be described as "Cosmic, Relaxing, Fun, Tribal, Spiritual, Unifying and Mystic", fitting perfectly for clubs & festivals, as well as listening gatherings, exhibitions, relaxational sessions or meditation. A milestone in Saphileaum's career came in 2022, when a snippet of his composition, "Cosmic Lake Transparency," via the project "Stihia Beyond", was transmitted as a radio signal to the exoplanet K2-18B from the Goonhilly Earth Station in England, marking a historic moment as the second Georgian artist to have their music journey into deep space. This remarkable achievement highlights Saphileaum's innovative approach to music, which has also seen him contribute to prestigious projects such as creating music for Porsche's new 911 model presentation in Tbilisi, Maison Margiela's yet unseen backstage photo exhibition by Jonathan Hallam under the Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in Tbilisi and music for a few Georgian films. Over the years, Saphileaum has released a diverse array of Albums and EPs on International labels, including "Transpersonal Experience" & "Intrapersonal Experience" on Good Morning Tapes, "Ornaments" on Oslated, "The Traveler" on Silent Season, "Exploring Together" on Mule Musiq and "Banana Leaf Paradise" on Slow Life, to name a few, each reflecting his unique blend of cosmic expansiveness, tribalism and meditative storytelling. Beyond Saphileaum, Andro has explored other artistic avenues under different monikers, such as Marquess Evergreen for meditative music and writing fairy tales, and Farewell Warm Fields for nostalgic explorations of breakbeat and downtempo sounds, evoking poignant narratives of human connection and longing. In addition to music, Andro's creative spirit finds expression through writing poetry, fashion, collage art and philosophical inquiry, enriching the cultural landscape with his diverse contributions and leaving an enduring mark on the world of art and expression. ✤ Booking: kuba@khidi.ge ✤ Contact: saphileaum@yahoo.com |
