Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 9 | Beth De Jong | A musician, artist, promoter, and budding producer from Hamilton, Ontario. Beth started playing guitar and singing as a teenager. Started playing in bands in 2014. After her first band [a=Sensei] was fizzling out in 2015 (disbanded in 2016), she picked up the bass for [a=The Pucumber Sasssquash Family Band] while their bass player Annie was away. After Annie returned, she then joined a local choir called [a=Earth, Wind & Choir]. After seeing the local band [a=Pool People], she joined a no-wave band in 2017 with most of its members called [a=Poorage]. After the drummer left in 2018, they changed their name to [a=Human Nun] with Randy Gagne aka [a=Man Made Hill] on percussion and vocals. Later that year, Beth and [a=Graham Bucci] started the darkwave band [a=Concavity]. When [a=Human Nun] couldn't play a couple of gigs, Banananananana was spawned - a 2 piece synth-punk band consisting of Beth and bandmate [a=Drew Taylor (3)]. When the pandemic hit, Human Nun was put on hold. A new project called FO-X.O. with Drew and Dan Hill on bass was formed in 2021 and will be releasing their material later in the year. During her time playing in bands, she also performed noise music with additional instruments such as autoharp, record player scratching, and other sound makers. Noise bands included [a=Impure Haha], Barbaric Slaptonne, [a=Hamilton Noise Orchestra], Gazorpazorp, Blarthtarp, Caccus, and other people in the scene. Beth has recently started using the name Babette laFlail, and still resides and performs in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Members: Francisco D'Uva Gerónimo Godas Rodrigo Godas

The lyrics are pro-black, conscious, and somewhat militant, stylistically indebted to similar but better-known groups like [a=X-Clan], [a=Paris (2)], or [a=Public Enemy]. Founding group member [a=Zulu King Paris] (A.K.A. [a=Paris Lewis]) went on to change his name to [a=Malik Shabazz], and later became Chairman of the New Black Panther Party. The sleeve for the 12" of "Rise! Black Man Rise!" mentions the forthcoming album "One God, One Aim, One Destiny", which was apparently never released. Interestingly, the cassette single of the same song calls the forthcoming album "40 Acres and We Rule". Members: [a=Zulu King Paris], [a=Mercurator T.P.S.] (A.K.A. [a=R. Search | Add | 9 | Holy Tire Iron | Holy Tire Iron was a 90s audio zine project by Reverend Raye, from West Somerville, Massachusetts. One would call the phone number and listen to the stories that others had left on the machine. It was not a 900 service, so if you were outside of the Boston area you had to pay for long distance phone charges. There was no advertising, the 'message changed every day,' and was made up of what callers called in. It was active for a number of years in the early-mid 1990s. The motto was "Inspiration is only a phone call away" and Raye called it free public media and added "Would you like fries with your art?"

Search | Add | 9 | Blueset | Blueset was a Swedish 1970s heavy blues rock power trio from Södertälje, just south of Stockholm. The group was formed in the late 1960s by guitarist/singer Kenth Loong and bassist Ingemar Linder. In 1970, Blueset issued two singles on [l133432]. The music was still strongly influenced by standardised, British blues. In 1972, [a975523] joined the band without recording or releasing anything. Various line-up changes followed in 1973, and the band settled with Kenth Loong (vocals, guitars), Mikael Olofsson (bass) and Claes Jansson (drums). Blueset recorded and released the album [i]Rock Machine[/i] in 1974. Now, the sound was typical heavy blues rock with light psychedelic hints (and some [a=Jimi Hendrix]...), but the album also included old folk music and [a=Ludwig van Beethoven]. After some gigs they split. Kenth Loong died in Södertälje in 1987 after a long battle with diabetes, while Mikael Olofsson died in the winter of 2005.

He served in Serbian army during the First World War first as a drummer and later as a zither player in the military orchestra. The Serbian army retreated to the South through Albania and the troops have been stationed on the Greek island Corfu. In 1916 Đorđe Marinković composed a nostalgic and Serb nationalistic song "Tamo daleko" that became very popular not only amongst Serb but also among other soldiers on the Thessaloniki front and was rendered into many languages, English title is "Far away over there", French "Au loin, au loin sur Corfu", Czech and Slovak "Tam v dali". The song became an unofficial hymn of Serbs and it is a common believe that it is a traditional one. After the WWI Marinković got the scholarship from the King Peter I personally and moved to France in 1920. In Paris 1922 he copyrighted the composition and lyrics for the song "Tamo daleko" worldwide, the fact officially acknowledged not untill 2008. Đorđe Marinković has got some recordings under the alias Georges Mariel. He died 1977 in Paris. |

Thanks in large part to the the Dons of the UK Hip Hop mixtape game, Disorda, MK, Yoda, Greenpeace, Louis Slipperz & The Nextmen et al, he was fortunate to discover music on vinyl before he discovered stamps... same collector’s infliction, but a slightly cooler manifestation that resulted in him preferring puma hi-tops to anoraks and Blak Twang to Penny Blacks! Search | Add | 9 | The Sherwoods Of Cornell | The Sherwoods (1956–1973) The Cornell University Glee Club is the oldest student organization at Cornell University, having been organized shortly after the first students arrived on campus in 1868. Over the years, The Glee Club has spawned several spinoff a capella subsets. The club currently has only one official a cappella subset, The Hangovers, but two other spinoff groups, Cayuga's Waiters and The Sherwoods. The Sherwoods were formed in 1958 by renegade choristers who left the Glee Club to form their spin off group. First appearing at the Glee Club's 1956 fall concert, The Sherwoods of Cornell gained prominence quickly among collegiate musical groups. They embarked on their first international tour in the summer of 1957 with an itinerary including Hawaii and the Far East. By 1958, they were a successful act ,in there own right, and were in great demand both on and off campus. This enormous success came at a price, however, and led to conflicts with the Glee Club, which had remained The Sherwoods' parent organization during these formative years. In the fall of 1958, the two organizations split officially. The Sherwoods toured extensively, traveling to Hawaii, the Far East, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, and Jamaica and on two extensive tours for the USO, entertaining troops in the Philippines, and throughout Germany . They commonly wore dark (Sherwood) green jackets and ties for performances. Rather than sing stock arrangements, The Sherwoods wrote their own. They were known for rich 6-8 part harmony music unique among other a cappella groups of their time. The popularity of a cappella singing faded for a period in the early 1970s and The Sherwoods stopped auditioning new members in 1973. It also marked the final year in which the Sherwoods were featured in The Cornellian, Cornell University's annual year book. In 1985 The Class of '65 invited the 'Younger' Sherwoods back to Cornell to entertain them at their 20th reunion. It was the first time in twenty years The Youngers had met to re-learn their songs and practice their entertaining introductions. The 'Younger' Sherwoods have been returning to Cornell's Ithaca campus to perform at reunions every year since 1985, celebrating their 26th annual shows in 2010, once again entertaining the Class of '65, this time at the class's 45th reunion. The 'Founders' Sherwoods gather at various times during the year, continuing to practice and perform the repertoire they sang during their era at Cornell. Between the two Sherwoods groups there are about 45 active Sherwood singers performing today. Noted hit singer/songwriter [a320273] sang with the Sherwoods for several years, writing two songs performed by the group, 'Let me Down Easy' and 'Winter Song'. As an undergraduate, Chapin was preoccupied with his own songwriting, and he eventually dropped out of Cornell University to focus on his early career as a successful singer-songwriter. In 1971 Fred Kewley, Sherwood musical director, became Chapin's Manager through the best years of his career, landing the recording contract with Elektra through his hits Taxi, WOLD, and Cats In The Cradle, etc., and the hundreds of concerts around the USA and Europe.

Search | Add | 9 | Dixie Gunworks | Founded in 1989 as a five piece band featuring Peter Wahle (vocals), Kai Wiener (guitar), Matthias Kaufmann (bass), Sven Wiener (drums) and Kai Schrader (guitar). Matthias Kaufmann left the band in 1993 and was replaced with Ralf Schumann (bass). Peter Wahle left in early 1994 and the lead vocals were split between Ralf Schumann, Kai Wiener and Kai Schrader. The band named it's style "Rockin' Cowpunk", which was a mixture of Cowpunk, Rockabilly, Country Rock, Bluegrass, Bluesrock, Southern Rock and Stray-Cats-Rock'n'Roll. The live shows were powerful and the songs were played often faster than on the records. A story of the band can be read in "Southern & Rocking Music", issue 4, Nov/Dec 1994. The band split in 2002. Kai Wiener died in 2008 by a car accident.

Search | Add | 9 | Mirza Hodža Minno | Mirza Hodža | Born in Tuzla In mid-1998 Minno was imprisoned for 8 years. The reason for this was an escalated argument with his girlfriend at the time, because she cheated on him during his concert in Rijeka . Minno became violent during the argument and inflicted several stab wounds on her. After taking her to a local clinic in Tuzla , he turned himself in to the police in Munich , despite the fact that there was no charge or warrant for his arrest. The song Ne troši suze na mene , which turned out to be one of his most successful songs along with Na dan il' dva , was recorded again in 2000 by his producer Halid Muslimović.To date, Minno's version, despite its originality, has almost fallen into oblivion, and the interpretation, by the more popular Halid Muslimovic, has become much more widespread and popular. The album Ti si me izdala was released by its producer Halid Muslimovic in 2000 while Minno was in prison. The album was recorded and completed before his arrest. |
