Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Prins Bernhard | Bernhard Leopold Frederik Everhard Julius Coert Karel Godfried Pieter | Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld (29 June 1911 – 1 December 2004), later Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, was prince consort of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. During World War II the German-born prince was part of the London based Allied war planning councils and an active RAF wing commander flying both fighter and bomber planes into combat. He was a Dutch general and supreme commander of the Dutch Armed forces, involved in negotiating the terms of surrender of the German army in the Netherlands. For proven bravery, leadership and loyalty during his wartime efforts he was awarded the rank of knight commander in the chivalric Military William Order, the oldest and highest honour in the Netherlands. After the War he was also made honorary Air Marshal of the RAF by Queen Elizabeth II. In 1969, Bernhard was awarded the Grand Cross, Special Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1954, he was a co-founder of the international Bilderberg Group, which has met annually since then to discuss corporate globalization and other issues concerning Europe and North America. He was forced to step down from both groups after being involved in the Lockheed Bribery Scandal. |

Search | Add | 3 | 'Sisterly Wanking | Founded as a duo by Shird Leopart and Ella Excèntrica in October 2009, 'Sisterly Wanking hurts the lines between the Prog, Leftfield and Musique Concrète genres. The pair has kept the project into an ameurist practice to avoid the obvious "cult-like following" program. Citing Stockhausen, Dome, The Residents & Throbbing Gristle as influences, 'Sisterly Wanking injects a dadaist mind into pieces otherwise doomed to loneliness, creating an interesting mix of post and proto but bright all inside. The music initially appears rather unbalanced, but finally reveals fully bashed-out tracks that are genuinely untouchable.

Check out the pic!! John Regan cyrusfilms@eircom.net Johnny Regan and The Tumbleweeds was a top English modern country band in the sixties based in London. We worked on American bases throughout Europe. Some of the great country Artists we worked with in those days were. Tammy Wynett, Melba Montgomery, Hank Snow, Hank Locklin, Slim Whitman, Charlie Pride and my great old mate Willie Nelson. Plus many more. Some of my Tumbleweed band members over that period included. Roger Dean (ex John Mayall) Albert Lee (ex Hogan’s heroes, Emmy Lou Harris, and an Emmy winner in his own right) Jerry West (a regular with Slim Whitman on Steel guitar) Johnny Boniface on Drums and (recently with Georgie Fame) Dave Peacock on bass. (Dave is the other half of Chas and Dave a super star act in London. A appearance on the “Life of Riley” TV show in 1969. was watched by Dance hall entrepreneur Con Hynes from @Portumna, Co. Galway He approached me and asked if I would come to Ireland, and form a Show Band. The money and conditions of the contract were great so over I came. I collected a great bunch of musicians JJ Lombard,(Bass) Shay Spain (Drums and driver extraordinaire), Tony Kirby (Fiddle and vocals) Johnny Rush (Keyboards) Senan Drury (Keyboards) John O’Brian (Guitar)Myself on Rhythm guitar, We also had a Steel player who’s name I can’t recollect but often supplemented by that top picker Basil Henriques At the time I was already signed to the Decca record label and had made an album titled “The Tumbleweeds live at the Hitching post” ( Leixlip). However I signed up with Con’s own label “Quality records” and made a number of singles. “ If the world turned into Ashes” “Stand beside me” “Four strong winds” etc. Life in Portumna was a wonderful experience I always knew I would end my days living in Ireland. However my fiancée had other plans and at the death knell of the show band scene we married and took off for Australia. We enjoyed Australia for thirty years, raised two fine boys. I developed a career as a Musician, Actor, and Video Film Maker. Oh how the years fly. So now, here I am back these last three years, living in Barna Galway. I have been working in a three piece pub band called “Top Form” Ronnie Mangan ex Indians on drums and Noel Keane (Sean’s brother on Bass) I had to leave Top form after a heart operation. However now I’m fully recovered, and as fit as a Mally Bull (Aussie _expression) and am the producer/Director of my own Video production Company “Cyrus Films International” I still love to sing and play guitar and tenor sax. I am on the lookout for another band to join... If you have any contacts with any of the musicians I have mentioned here I would love to catch up with them again and chat over old times. |Perhaps somebody out there knows some of them. Search | Add | 3 | Mascara Quartet | Mascara Quartet | Polona Udovič (voice, violin), Timi Krajnc (guitar), Vojko Vešligaj (guitar) Mitja Režman (bass guitar) About Mascara Quartet Polona Udovič (voice, violin), Timi Krajnc (guitar), Vojko Vešligaj (guitar) and Mitja Režman (bass guitar) are classically trained musicians, acclaimed at home and abroad. The Quartet is a reflection of their valuable musical experiences and their deep understanding of music, their artistic careers and their intensive work with numerous artists, chamber groups, orchestras, ensembles, in concert halls and at festivals around the world. The storm of passion and the peace of the ocean, which rests somewhere amid the Iberian Peninsula, South America and their rich folklore, is the musical muse that connects Polona, Timi, Vojko and Mitja. Mascara explores the space inside and outside of the field of classical music; cautiously, respectfully, it colors over the line with a brush of tense strings and the warmth of human voice. Their music expresses so powerfully, so directly and so concisely that poignant longing captured on the streets of Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Lisbon... halfway between bordellos and milongas... joy and a sad melancholy feeling...amongst merchants, sailors and African immigrants...it's the music played at night when all kinds of masks are allowed (mascara - Spanish word for mask), the music which comes with moonshine and dies down at daybreak... Musicians are brought together by a historical crossroads and it is here that they meet every night - those who are still around and those who have long since passed away...On a street corner there is still Mascara Cafe...If you get closer, you will here the music of Mariza, Dulce Pontes, Astor Piazzolla and of many others... of those who have escaped salon parquet floors and cliches. |
