Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors of Dub started life in 1991 as an 11-piece collective, based in London, UK, with a shared interest in reggae, jazz & world sounds. Over a period of 6 - 7 years, before personnel began to move on and the band shrunk and mutated into a more studio-based unit called Species, the band toured extensively in the UK giving rave-received live performances at festivals, clubs and arts centres from Penzance to Cupar. Whilst the band was principally a live unit the recorded material was interesting and innovative along broadly dub-reggae lines. Only a handful of DoD recordings exist - a 12" ep 'Themanawar' and 6-track k7 - featuring tracks produced by Jonny 'Milty' Milton (Aswad, Maxi Priest etc) - and the CD ep 'Tartarsaurus'. The band also recorded a session in 1995 for Andy Kershaw's Radio 1 programme. If you take the Soundcloud link below you can hear or download (for free!) all of these tracks plus some recently unearthed live recordings from a gig in St.Austell, Cornwall. A video of Doctors of Dub featuring the bands trademark strange stage attire and some of the characters who used to people the stage - not least the legendary Tartarsaurus - has topped 10,000 viewings on YouTube. The re-mix of one of the bands most popular live tracks around which the video is based (see link below) was performed by Andy Montgomery, a stalwart of the trendsetting On-U Sound crew, and, I hope you'll agree, there are some awesome dub moments. The other two tracks on the ep were re-mixed by Tom 'Another Fine Day' Green and Manchester's hard-hitting Yam-Yam team. In concert DoD eschewed rock-star pyrotechnics (too expensive), opting instead for low-key ultra-violet lighting and face/body painting coupled with vibrant day-glo stage gear. Audiences loved this approach, although various lighting engineers across the country have been known to throw a sulk at the band. The band enjoyed touring and this came across on stage - audiences can sense it and are always happy to join the party. Doctors of Dub personnel (original line-up): Bass guitar: Vernon Munday Rhythm & lead guitar, vocal: John Warner Rhythm guitar: Dom Williams Keyboards & violin: 'Trouser' Dave Thompson Lead vocals: Oli Johnson Alto sax, flute, visuals, backing vox: Chrissy Quayle Trumpet, percussion: Ian Wright Alto & soprano sax: Paul Micah Percussion/visuals: Russell Roberts Drums: Dave Atkin Sound man was Ricky Dear. |

The group formed in Summer of 2004 as a four piece (minus Adkins) and recorded their debut album A Little Rock N' Roll. The group returned to the studio in 2008 for a follow-up album to be called Touch Me There, but the sessions were shelved upon their hiatus in 2009. Joseph moved to Norway and played in the Norwegian glam metal bands SEKS and HART before beginning a solo career as Vitne in 2013. The remaining four members continued performing together in South Carolina under the name Savage Tongues. 2015 saw Gölden Palace's reunion with a remastered release of A Little Rock N' Roll as well as their previously unreleased mini-album Touch Me There. In 2017 the group released their third album, the self-titled Gölden Palace.

Search | Add | 3 | Dan Grain | Danny de Graan | Although Danny de Graan (AKA Dan Grain) worked and still works in the contemporary art music scene as a composer, his career started in the early 90's in the dance scene. As one of the producers of the group Cyberlab, he released several EP's and performed in the Netherlands and Germany, sharing the stage with artists like Yves de Ruiter, Sven Vath and Paul van Dyk e.a.. Music studies at the University of Amsterdam and Portsmouth England and later at the Rotterdam Conservatory, kept him from pursuing a career in the dance scene. Yet, he retained a strong feeling of connection to the music, especially to groovy, atmospheric, dark and melodic techno and house. Working as a contemporary art music composer he has written many compositions for all kinds of settings ranging from small and large ensembles, vocalists, (microtonal) organ, harpsichord, pan flute and much more. Recent work consists of a mini opera about Facebook and a composition for feedback only controlled by 4 players and a computer. In 2003, Danny de Graan remixed the classic "O Superman" by Lauri Anderson for the infamous record label Staalplaat. That was the impulse that reignited his interest in dance music. In 2008, he made a demo which received great responses from Dave Clark, among others, and motivated him to start producing again. Danny draws his inspiration from many genres, ranging from Dance, Jazz, Folk, Rock, Pop and Classical music. His solo debut was on Eevonext records with his track The Run. His first EP Happy Accidents will be released beginning 2012. Since 2011 Dan Grain started the producers duo DAN9ER together with Gerard Snippe (AKA 9ER). Their debut is on aDepth Audio with the sampler Emerging Elements (limited edition coloured vinyl) |

Search | Add | 3 | Tu Hormona | Tu Hermana | The real name of the band is "Tu Hermana" (Your Sister). By copyright issues it ended up correcting each copy by hand so that it appeared as "Tu Hormona" (Your Hormone). A note from 1998: https://www.pagina12.com.ar/1999/suple/no/99-02/99-02-11/199.htm Now it's called Tu Hormona another travaladna “Essentially it's rock, but in the middle there are broken songs, quiet, chacareras, joda... There is no coherence of style. We try to do what we like”, says Gustavo Jove, drummer of Las Pelotas. But his definition does not respond to Sokol and Daffunchio's band but to Tu Hormona, the quartet that has just released a well-treated first rock and blues album. It's called Where are the keys? and the distribution for now is underground. “It's what happens to us all the time”, they say to explain the origin of the prosaic question that gives the CD its name. Whoever roams the underground probably knows the group as Tu Hermana, their first name before a patent issue forced them to rename themselves. A couple of changed vowels, and the insolent Tu Hermana became the curious Tu Hormona. The line-up is completed by Mariano Mahía on guitar, Juan Pablo Pagano on bass and singer Claudia Canga, alias Köla, much closer to Patti Smith than Natalie Imbruglia, to get an idea. “It started as a project of Köla and mine”, Gustavo recalls. “We wanted to make music without any preconceptions. We're pretty brainless in that sense." They recorded the album in the Los Angeles studios (owned by Las Pelotas), in the middle of the calm mountains of Nono, Córdoba. But the fact of being related to a consecrated band does not make things any easier for them. At least that is deduced from the lyrics of the second song on the album, “What are you working on?”: “A thousand years rehearsing / to be able to play / in some dark pub / that they won't even pay me”, sounds in the chorus. The hard life of the Argentine rocker? "It's that if after spending all week carrying newsletters everywhere, carrying equipment, rehearsing, pasting up posters at night with paste, an asshole comes along and says 'ah, yes, but that's not work...'", Jove reprimands with his head and concludes, tense: "Go wash your ass!". https://elsiestero.com.ar/efemerides/gustavo-jove/ "...Parallel to his work in the group then led by Alejandro Sokol, Jove founded Tu Hormona together with his wife and singer Claudia "Köla" Canga (who would later also participate as a backup singer in the classic "Será" and "Abejas" by Las Pelotas ) and ventures again into the world of the underground until the dissolution of the band..." |

Later that year, Aida Dražić (baritone saxophone) joined in and URAR stepped into 2017 in full force. It was a year marked by lots of hard work, creation and affirmation of the band’s sound identity and the resulting live performances. After a great many rehearsals, the band recorded their first album and played several gigs in and around Pula, Koper, Ljubljana, Nova Gorica and Zagreb. This trio distinguished by some quite dissimilar personalities, diverse musical preferences and influences grew into a unique collective which secures an avant-garde musical expression of joyfully depressive colours through a fusion of numerous music genres, charisma and simplicity.

Search | Add | 3 | Lodis C | Always evolving, never fading, their music is two faces: compassion and malevolence. Lodis C brings forth music that spawns from the unlikely bond of unremitting love and devoted disgust. Creativity is influenced by countless sources yet always builds its foundation from dedication and cooperation. With the release of their EP, “Wait These Days,” understanding is strongly evident in their approach. Within a single song, the band can show you both beauty and hatred. Expect the truth not blinded by the hands of a guilty, lesser society that is based on greed, insults, and lies. This time around, the feelings are real. Sounds of the wounded are sounds of the adored. Experience plays a significant role in their creativity. Each member knows that where beauty can be found, shadows are gravely haunting. When it seems that all is lost, progress can still be made when victim to malicious tactics. From ruins of defeat, the strength to carry on churns from enemies of the past. An indefinite fate will not slow the band in their onward advances. Being familiar with conflict has readied them for the decisions that are ahead. Boundless horizons and an equally abundant driving force guides Lodis C to an echelon above all.

Initially motivated by a well respected lunch room battle rapper, Hans set out to get the attention of the lunchtime crowd. Armed with his amateur rhymes and a world of confidence, he amazed the lunch crowd and soon became ,one half of, a superstar duo that performed in the cafeteria daily. By the end of his senior year Hans acquired the stage name “Flawless” (given to him because of his incessant desire to pen perfect rhymes) and went on to cause such a lyrical upset at the school’s talent show, that the principal banned rap from any future shows.
