Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Jer Hog | Rock band from Germany. Jeremiah Joseph Hogan collected records and started DJ-ing when he was 15, bought his first guitar in Dublin in 1977 and immediatly began writing songs. From playing countless gigs on the local scene enough money was earned to go into the studio to record the first demo. From this point on, studio and live performance became equally important for Jeremiah. The murdering mixture of Catholicism, prudeness and suburbia in Ireland drove him out into the rest of the world. In 1985 he visited musician friends in Hamburg. It turned out to be a deciding change in his life. Jeremiah played in numerous bands, bought an 8 track and mixer, recorded demos and eventually produced and released his first single "Black" in 1992. This was the beginning of JER HOG. The band played gigs up and down the country and invested in modernizing their recording equipment. Jeremiah composed, recorded and produced the first CD "King's Birthday", which was released on his own label in 1996; Piggy Bank Records. The philosophy was simple; "Don't expect anyone to be more committed to your product than you are. Do it yourself!". With this CD JER HOG went out again on tour, doing advertising and distribution themselves. In all, 800 copies were sold during the following 2 years. Mostly after shows, where the band had convinced it's audience. While headlining the "Kalilingrad In Rock Festival" in Russia for the second year in a row (15000 visitors), Jeremiah met the Hamburg band "Das Weeth Experience". Shortly after he was co-writing new material, playing bass on their next album and heading to the States on tour. 1999 also saw the birth of another musical project with a video maker friend; "V.S.B." combining industrial pop-rock with dancefloor rhythms. Despite being very tied up with these new commitments, Jeremiah continued to write and record new songs for the second JER HOG album "Dirty", whenever he got the chance. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | I Hail Taxis | Stephen Hill | Stephen Hill began recording cassettes of his own songs under the name I Hail Taxis from about 1994. He recorded about a dozen of these, many of them sadly lost, before I joined him on his "Purple Trousers" tape in 1997. By the end of 1998 we had released 3 more tapes, an EP, had grown to a 5-piece band, performed one shambolic gig, appeared on TV (on Channel 4's Under the Moon performing "Tartan Army", IHT's alternative song for Scotland's World Cup team), changed the name to "The Sluice Room Review" and split up. Steve had no musical influences and wrote songs purely for his own amusement. His audience was me and a few other friends to whom he'd hand out his self-dubbed tapes on his own Bring! Records. Later tapes were released on cassette-only labels Bacchanalian Revel and Low Voltage, and the "Subscribe!" EP on the even more obscure Umbababayee. But I don't believe they sold well, even by cassette label standards. Unencumbered by ambition, musical training or an audience, Steve was free to sing whatever was on his mind. And going by the songs, what was on his mind was: day time television, science fiction, UFOs (this was an era when crop circles were seriously debated), archaeology, the OJ Simpson trial, Scotland, surreal humour (how else to categorise "Rod Stewart and Emu"?) and, of course, girls. Steve was never very comfortable when the band started to grow or we talked of gigging or self-promotion. He was happiest scribbling his silly songs in his notebook and recording them in one take in his living room. Towards the end of '98 he disappeared and the band was no more. I heard a rumour that he'd moved abroad but I never got confirmation of this, and neither I nor any of our mutual friends have heard from him since. Wherever he is, at least we still have his music. The world of I Hail Taxis is one many will recognise; that of a twice-daily Neighbours watcher and dreamer who refuses to grow up. So put on your purple trousers, get the Etch-a-Sketch from the car, and get ready to do the freezing cold jig whilst listening to the World of I Hail Taxis! From the website. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Cool Bananas | From "Albert Archives" liner notes [silently corrected]: "Musical Salesmen. Arch-lunatic Rory O'Donoghue has a bizarre background in rock music. His teenage groups The Pogs and Oakapple Day were kings of the north shore socialite party set and Cool Bananas, a pop-jazz outfit, enjoyed similar posh popularity. Rory's original concept was for a utility group of ace musos who could back him on his many TV/Radio commercials as well as perform/record as a regular group. As the two purposes merged, Cool Bananas found themselves performing alongside films and slides at launchings of such products as kitchen furniture and overseas travel. Although they never had any aspirations to become the new Sherbet, the group did have a nifty little turn laid on in their honour at Chequers, at which guests were treated to garbage bins full of frozen babanas. Members were (mostly) Rory, Don Reid, Wayne Findlay, Stein Boddington, and drummer Robbie Dearlove, who was replaced by Russell Dunlop on this single and a few gigs for GTK. Cool Bananas backed Kevin Johnson on his first album and then split, with Don Reid resurfacing in Crossfire and Rory O"Donoghue becoming a member of the Aunty Jack TV team and subsequently singer of the national number one hit "Farewell Aunty Jack"." | |

His music sends a thank you note both to the folk and country tradition of the seventies and to the undistorted jangle-pop genre from the eighties, hence the title of the forthcoming album "Oslo Jangle". The full album «Oslo Jangle» is due on Christmas eve, and while we are waiting, lend your ear to this stripped down single «Together», a quiet masterpiece of melancholy and a nod to Paul Simon and Paul McCartney-esque ballads. The debut single also includes a B- side track "Broken" A gem of a folk-tune also featuring acclaimed Norwegian country/folk artist Unnveig Aas. All songs has been produced and recorded at Studio 1915 in Andy Avens birth town Holmestrand, Norway and was mastered in Abbey Road Studios, London |

But now he’s doings things differently. Returning to his training as a hydrogeologist, he’s a skilled gold miner by day and passionate musician by night – an empowering shift that’s allowed Cahill to work with top-tier pros to realize the sounds in his head, while staying true to his fiercely independent ethos.

| Search | Add | 3 | Victor Marinov | Victor Marinov | Victor Marinov is a Bulgarian musician, DJ and live performer. His professional journey in the electronic music started in early 90’s with the formation “Dve Kupeta” (experimental dark ambient), moving through the “Band of Mad Women” (electroacoustic band), “Vataff Project” (downtempo, ambient, IDM) and “Victor’s Mob.” (tech house, minimal, techno).Victor is also a cofounder of the label “Port One”. With his collection of analog synthesizers, effect processors and various software Victor has established his own recording studio. Within the years he has developed a specific musical taste, perfectly represented by his vinyl DJ sets. The magical music he creates falls undoubtedly into the categories of the intelligent techno, tech-house and ambient. Unless in the music and visions for his performances, Victor was also involved in composing of theatre and film music. One of his most prominent projects was in 2002 when he was invited in Berlin with “Vataff” by the advertisement company “Triggerhapptproductions”. He has been working there under a project with the director Zoran Bichach and the camera man Robbi Mueller (who used to work closely with Wim Wenders on many of his movies). Victor has been participating in different international musical events and appeared on many stages worldwide as a DJ & live act. Victor has various projects in creating and experimenting with the electronic musical sound and therefore, any attempt to describe or explain the essence of his music would be rather incomplete without listening to and directly experiencing it. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dimitri Diatchenko | At 6'2", Diatchenko is a powerful presence both on screen and off. Equally adept at comedy or drama, leading man or "heavy," Diatchenko also possesses an unmatched talent for dialects. Add to that his well-earned reputation as a masterful classical guitarist and one has a broad over-view of the many layers of Dimitri Diatchenko. His most recent work displays his vast range as an actor. From the scary, intimidating, dead-serious Russian mafioso role in Sons of Anarchy to the more cerebral, yet still intimidating role he played in Eric McCormmack's new show, Perception on TNT, to the straight up goofy PIMP he plays in How I Met Your Mother, to the friendly, hip role he plays in Oren Peli's (Paranormal Acivity) newest horror film, Chernobyl Diaries. Dimitri is able to bring his characters to life with effortless depth, subtle layers, meticulous dialect and magnetic personality. Whether a good guy or a bad guy.......you just have to like him. Prior to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Get Smart, Diatchenko's comedy skills were on tap in the irreverent comedy, Remarkable Power, starring Tom Arnold and Kevin Nealon, which finds Diatchenko delivering an hilarious performance as the outrageous Czech porno director, Ivan. In the World War II film Miriam, Diatchenko sensitively portrayed the leading role of KGB agent Alexi Mironov who falls in love with a Jewish woman in war-torn Europe. With a flawless Russian accent, Diatchenko has been quite popular on television, appearing on such hit series as General Hospital, CSI Miami, Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, Burn Notice,The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Alias, and Walker Texas Ranger. Diatchenko has done his share of voiceovers as well, including The Family Guy and The Wild Thornberrys. His most recent VO work can be experienced in the blockbuster video games, Ghost Recon(2012) and Uncharted 3. Other major credits include Aliens, Iron Man 1 and 2, Uncharted 1 and 2, Navy SoCom, Call of Duty: World at War, Red Alert 3: Command and Conquer and Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions, where he plays the role of Sandman. A native of San Francisco, Dimitri Diatchenko attended Newton North High School in Newton, Massachusetts. After high school, he attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida where he was a scholarship music student, majoring in classical guitar. After completing the Bachelors program, he matriculated to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where he continued with his acting and music studies in the Masters program. His first acting experience was as the lead in the play, Foxfire, by Hume Cronin, where he played the country music star, Dillard Nations. Diatchenko continued to develop his acting skills both on stage and on camera in Florida-based projects from 1990 - 1996, while studying with Ken Stilson and George Judy. Some of these projects include the award-winning short films, Third on a Match, Used Cars and Goiter Boy. In April of 1996, as Dimitri was graduating with his Masters degree from Florida State University, he landed a small role as a Navy Seal in Ridley Scott's Demi Moore starrer G.I. Jane. After that break, Diatchenko moved out to Los Angeles and officially started his professional acting career. In addition to his acting, Diatchenko continues to perform as a master classical guitarist. As a soloist, he has four solo guitar CDs in release. His original composition, entitled, "Tango en Paraiso" is featured on the soundtrack of his film, Remarkable Power. Mel Bay Publications has published this piece in "Master Anthology of New Classic Guitar Solos, Vol. 1," which is available worldwide. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Sweaty Squeeze | Sweaty Squeeze is a full-blooded live band whose music pulses with great emotion and raw energy. For over thirty years, this Kokemäki-based group has been igniting Finnish rock stages with their uncompromising sound. In music circles, Sweaty Squeeze is known for its unstoppable blues and rock force — especially a true juggernaut who barrels forward with raw power and refuses to yield. Every gig, no matter how intimate, is played with the intensity of Madison Square Garden. After just a few songs, the sweat is flying, and the goal is always the same: to reach a euphoric flow where both the band and the audience ride the same sonic wave. The band writes original music that channels the soul of 70s rock, with blues running strong through its veins. Their sound is nostalgic yet fresh, gritty yet heartfelt — a timeless blend that hits hard and stays with you. | |

They draw on their street punk, thrash, and American rock n roll roots to create a sonic signature that is entirely their own. A spastically crafted wall of fuzz, shotgun vocals, with an absolute lack of subtlety or nuance. Inspired by equal parts science fiction, whiskey, and horror, their songs use the imagery of fiction to express an uncompromising rage at both conservatism and pop-culture. There’s comedy here too, but don’t discount them for having a laugh: these songs are heartfelt and they come across as anthems. 42 Ford Prefect consists of Keith (guitar/vox), Jesse (drums/vox), and Patrick (guitar/vox)
