Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | All Quiet On The Western Front | All Quiet On The Western Front was a band from Villach (Carinthia), Austria and was active between 1988 and 1992. The trio played a crossover from Jazz/Rock/Improv/Electronic and also expanded into other fields such as audio-visual and media art. They used slide and video projections in their live concerts and used a tape recorder on stage for the drum and electronic sections of their pieces, all of which was pretty unusual for their time.

Search | Add | 2 | Sunnybrook Road | Sunnybrook Road is a duo side project of half-brothers [a=Shady Monk] & [a=Eric Jon], started under the project title 'OPTIFLUX' some time in 2011, when Eric would visit home from school. Under this title, the brothers started creating the material that would wind up becoming their first duo album, 'Taking Shape'. A few years passed before the two moved in together, where they created more material for the project. After working through creative differences and other relevant issues that caused delays, the duo settled on the group name 'Sunnybrook Rd', the name of the street on which they first began working on material together, and self-released 'Taking Shape' on their groups bandcamp page, along with a non-album single, 'Are We There Yet', the first track the duo ever successfully completed together.

He was also Director of News & Public Affairs at WBLS-FM, New York City and awarded radio newsman of the year 1972, aswell recording a spoken-word LP in 1979 for Booman Records/Springboard Int. This was followed a few years later by a 12-inch single for [l108162] entitled "I Ran Iran" which told the story of the taking of the American embassy in Tehran from the viewpoint of the Ayotallah Khomeini and President Carter. Actually the song debuted in a series of WBLS newscasts before the happening and it was a signal from WBLS initial stance on rap music. A.H.

While relying on synthetic instruments, [a5578795] creates an organic sound, as human as possible, without the desperate need for striking or blunt sounds. Tracks by [a5578795] feature large, open spaces, put into contrast with almost intimate atmospheres, always carrying the groove on to dance the night away. This philosophy is mirrored by [a5578795]s DJ sets which he proved in major clubs like Tresor.

Tyra | Thomas Norman Tyrakowski | Thomas Tyra (born Thomas Norman Tyrakowski) (April 17, 1933 - July 7, 1995) was an American composer, arranger, bandmaster, and music educator. Tyra joined the Louisiana State University faculty in the Fall of 1958, serving as an assistant to the Director of Bands L. Bruce Jones. In 1959, LSU elevated Tyra to the position of 14th Bandmaster of the Tiger Marching Band, making him - at age 26 - the nation's youngest director of a major university marching band.[2] That same year, Tyra created the LSU Ballet Corps Dance Line, launching what would become the LSU Golden Girls in 1965. |

Paulsen, a well known insurance and investment representative, popular singer and speaker, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. He packed a lot into his 98 years of life. Harold joined the Army in 1941. Two years later, he was accepted to Officer Candidate School and received his commission as an Air Force Statistical Officer from Harvard School of Business Administration. He served with the 8th Air Force in England for 28 months and was discharged in December 1945 with the rank of Captain. Harold was devoted to his Lord and church. As a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where he was confirmed, he led the building of the new church as the building committee chair. There he served as Sunday School Superintendent for five years, provided his musical talent and “filled” the church pulpits on several occasions in the pastor’s absence. Those who have attended the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast since it started in the early 1960’s were treated to Harold’s speaking and singing. Harold did a lot for a lot of people, but will remembered most for his terrific singing. He also sang for most of the Montana Governors during his lifetime, commencing with Governor John E. Erickson. One of his most memorable highlights was as a soloist for the 8th Air Force Glee Club in the Nuremberg Opera House in Germany at the end of WWII. He once shared the stage with the late Norman Vincent Peale." from helenafuneralhome.com

Educated, eloquent and with a distinctive style of speaking, Zahn soon became a fixture at the station of the Allied military government, which continued to exist from September 30, 1945 as NWDR (Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk) and was converted into an independent broadcaster from January 1, 1948. When the NWDR was split into NDR and WDR in 1956, from then on, Zahn stood for continuity and quality at the northern German broadcaster. In 1951 he took the plunge across the pond and became a pioneer in foreign reporting in the United States. His 15-minute radio show "From the New World" explains the German society and politics of the occupying power. From 1955 onwards, the same format led to success on television. Von Zahn left NDR in 1961 and founded his own production company, Windrose Film- und Fernsehproduktions-GmbH. His reports were shown in WDR, among others, which developed the "Weltspiegel" („mirror of the world“) series from the format.
