Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Ustad Umrao Bundoo Khan | Ustad Umrao Bundu Khan | Notes sourced from CD album 'Timeless Music from Pakistan (Ustad Umrao Bundu Khan)': "One of the most outstanding exponents of Delhi Gharana in undivided India, Umrao Bundu Khan Saheb's birth date is not clear but he is believed to have been born around 1915. He was the son and disciple of Sarangi Nawaz Ustad Bundu Khan. He received training in vocal music from his maternal uncle and legend of Delhi Gharana Ustad Chand Khan Sahib but was adept at both vocal music and Sarangi. In fact, he was one of the few musicians who was equally skilled both as a vocalist and an instrumentalist. His rendition on the sarangi reflected the nuances of Ustad Bundu Khan Saheb and his vocal performances were highly influenced by Ustad Chand Khan's style. Umrao Bundu Khan Saheb migrated to Pakistan in 1947. He was a regular performer at Akashwani in undivided India as vocalist and after moving to Pakistan was appointed the music director at Radio Pakistan. He was later invited from Karachi for the Akhil Bharatiya Khadi Pradarshini in 1954, where he gave one of his most memorable performances. He was an extremely versatile singer and was adept at khayal. thumri dadra, tarana, Qaul, kalbana. He performed in various countries and for numerous albums even in Pakistan. The glorious journey of this legend came to an end in 1970 with his demise in Karachi. His music remains immortal not just through him but the various disciples who carry his legacy forward including his sons Mazhar Umrao and Athar Umrao." |

| Search | Add | 4 | Valeria Vlazinskaya | Валерия Игоревна Влазинская | Valeria Vlazinskaya (1922-2018) is an American translator, singer, and literary critic of Russian origin. Valeria Vlazinskaya Mjolsness was a musician, writer, and singer. She was born on July 14, 1922, in Harbin, northern China. Valeria moved with her parents to Mukden, China in 1939 when Valeria was 17. The family weathered World War II and Japanese occupation of China, enduring tough conditions and meager supplies. In due course, the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation (UNRRA) office opened, bringing post-war assistance and medical personnel (and a husband-to-be) to western China. In June, 1947, Valeria, who was working as a secretary in the UNRRA office, met Norwegian/Canadian Verdine Mjolsness, who had been a conscientious objector working in China during the war, and who was now working for UNRRA as a Superintendent of Agricultural Machinery. Verdine and Valeria were engaged just four months later, and married in Shanghai on February 8, 1948. A year later, Valeria and her parents moved with Verdine to Vancouver, Canada. Valeria grew up singing with her parents at home, and was encouraged by teachers at school. In her teens, she took her first private singing lessons. In Vancouver, she studied voice with an influential teacher and launched her professional career in music. Over the course of eight years in Vancouver and 38 years in Los Angeles, Valeria built a reputation as a song recitalist, voice coach, translator, and recording artist. A specialist in Russian repertoire, Valeria appeared in numerous solo recitals, instrumental ensembles and radio broadcasts. In addition to being an accomplished artist, Valeria wrote many translations of songs, arias and operas, and classical album liner annotation for [l654] In 1996, Valeria and Verdine moved to Bellingham, Washington to be closer to extended family. She died on January 25, 2018. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Buried Faith | BURIED FAITH is an American thrash metal band based out of Boise, Idaho. The band was formed in the spring of 2023. Once formed the band chemistry came easy and the focus was put on writing and recording music. The band notes musical influences from artists such as Sodom, Kreator, Venom, Slayer and Nifelheim. Listeners can feel the power of those influences on the studio recordings and live performances. The band champions the sound of thrash metal from the 1980's. HANSI HILMER fronts the band with wicked vocals that torches souls. He is a huge staple of the 80's German and U.S. metal scene and is a founding member of the Destroyer 1985 Heavy Metal Club. AARON CRANDALL is a wizard on the fretboard. He also shines as a songwriter. His leads are lightning fast and on point. DONNY MARTINEZ is a pure thrash drummer and a monster keeping the beat. A heavy-handed killer. JASON EMRY holds duties on the bass. A true old school punk/metal power unit. BURIED FAITH self-produced debut album "Blackened Skies, Open Graves" will be available on streaming platforms February 28th, 2025. CDs will also be available on that date. | |

No national hits resulted from the Paris Tower recordings made at H&H Studios in Tampa; however, Sundi came through with a huge smash in 1969, recorded at Charles Fuller Productions on MacDill Avenue. Sundi’s biggest (and only) hit is credited to Mercy, a local group from East Bay High School in Gibsonton. Their smash "Love (Can Make You Happy)" was released in two different versions – the first version, recorded and released by Cabot on Sundi Records, and a second version released on a major label, Warner Brothers, which signed the group for a full-length album (1969’s "Forever") while simultaneously releasing a re-recorded “Love (Can Make You Happy)” single. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Badge 212 | Badge 212 | Badge 212 consists of Adam Kowalski and Sean Rowader. Their music is often referred to as 'Scrum Rock', which blends the heartbreak of the blues, the angst of punk, and the tour de force of grunge. The guitar/drum outfit features a carousel-like process in which Adam and Sean switch off playing drums and guitar. Their beginnings date back to heisting power from an outlet in the back of, superstore giant, Meijer (Rolling Meadows, Illinois). This specific geographic location allowed anonymity thanks to the adjacent highway (Interstate 90) and the apathy of the nightshift. This spot remains a regular practice space for the band through all seasons of the year. Badge 212 opened for The Sturdy Beggars at Hong Manner in Champaign, Illinois in commemoration of New Year's Eve 2013/2014. Their setlist featured released and unreleased original songs. As of March 2014, the band has been recording their Double Debut Albums to be released in conjunction, Revenge of the Style, and BYC. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Lyr-x-ist | In 2003 Kalo/Are-tistik returned to Saskatoon to form the group Lyr-x-st with Atrium and Aposle. It happened on David Knight Cresent, outside of Atriums house, near his cucumber fields. Lyr-x-ist released it first cd entitled Lyriks Exist in November 2003, creating a buzz around the city for its unique sound. Lyr-x-ist headlined various events and venues around Saskatoon such as the Odeon Events Centre and the Jazz Basement. Lyr-x-ist first public performance was headlining a fashion show. In August 2004, Lyr-x-ist released its first professionally pressed sophomore album entitled The Krossing. Lyr-x-ist released the album to a capacity crowd at the Odeon Events Centre in March 2005. Opening for Lyr-X-ist was ‘Dro’ of Canadian rap group ‘Rezofficial’. To date this show remains one of the largest local talent hiphop shows in Saskatchewan history, and made the Odeon a respectable hiphop venue. In the summer of 2005, Are-tis-tik, Atrium and Aposle, moved to Calgary to record their third studio album. Within 30 days they had recorded 32 songs. In August 2005, they released half of these songs on Chapter one: Riders of the North. This album received critical acclaim and international recognition in German magazines, being compared to fellow Canadian recording artists Swollen Members. Lyr-x-ist performed several shows in Saskatoon to promote the album at the Odeon Events Centre and Jazz Basement. Chapter 2 was released digitally. The Final Chapter is completed and we hope to release it sometime. | |

LaBell, William Sessions, Freddie Jordon and Marvin Jordon. Their producer and manager was Earl Marable. "I'll Live On" was the original A side and "Someone Tell Her" was the B side, though Northern Soul fans later chose to reverse those choices. The songs were recorded twice. The first, with piano, was only an archival song originally and was added as a bonus track to the Jamie CD, The Northern Side of Philly Soul. The single came from their October 10, 1967 session, which also included four gospel songs. The sessions were held at 919 Studios, at 919 North Road Street in Philadelphia. | Search | Add | 4 | Jacob's Room | Jacob's Room were a south London indie guitar group based in Hither Green between 1985 and 1986. They played a small number of local gigs as a three-piece before disbanding. An eight-song demo was recorded on a Fostex four-track mainly to attract new members, no copies appear to have survived. Jacob’s Room were notable at the time for their melancholy baritone vocals, treated guitars, and texture-rich multi-keyboards that preceded the broader genres of Shoegaze and Dream Pop. During the autumn of 2022, Dave Fennessy rekindled his musical partnership with Gary Parker, suggesting that even though it had been 37 years, they should rerecord the eight original songs from memory to see how they would have sounded, using equipment of the time that they couldn't then afford. During this process, Gary presented several new and recent songs to add to the 21-track album project, Then & Now. This was released during July 2023. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Prolonged Version | James Shearman & Charlie Wheatley | The duo known as Prolonged Version have been making and performing sonic explorations from late 2013. Originally, the two came together to record material for Shearman's projects "Echoes ... Leytonstone" and "Camera Fiend" on Wheatley's Akai reel-to-reel tape recording device. The two ended up recording collaborative material as well and the duo was borne out of this coming together. In the "early demo" situated on bandcamp, the two typically blend the two sounds from Shearman's "Echoes ... Leytonstone" project of ambient guitar drones and Wheatley's solo project "Ti Seed" (as well as variation, "Nodal Incline") of synthetic organ compositions and improvisation. Within the space between January and March 2014 the two had drastically altered their sound - Shearman's solo noise project "A Raja's Mesh Men" brought down to bear on the sound, and Wheatley's solo musique concrete experiments as "Phonic Rotations" did as well - as the two switched influences for much noisier and industrial sources this was reflected in their full-length, "All Watched Over By Machines With Neurotic Disorders" - which was picked up for release to CDr by the Leeds-based poetry zine and sub-label "The Junkyard Procession" due to it's subtle incorporation of spoken word elements from Shearman (something that had remained from the sonic environment of the early demo). The two have since continued to record and perform and are currently working on their next release which will be a self-released double-cassette album consisting of a C20 and a C30 in a dual-case. Their live performing in 2014 has extended the trend of drastically altering the sound palette for the two collaborators, and often sequentially involves the two performing on entirely new set-ups that can be impromptu on the night or slightly practised yet still improvised within. |
