Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Quickly improved production skills and came out with his first release on [a=Destruct]`s - Rebel Minded album (USA-2008) and [m936059] (HUN-2009). Search | Add | 6 | Ment Plus | M. Vladimir | MentPlus' passion for music is rooted in his upbringing in Brooklyn. In his early days in BK, which he called a war zone, he discovered his love for music listening to the genre-swapping radio stations at his grandma's home. He was also introduced to turntables through his older brother's friend, a local DJ with a penchant for the Golden Era classics, and needed a place to store his equipment, where Ment would soon learn to navigate his way around a pair of 1200s. He and his friends used dusty samplers and tape decks to craft beats, first from Ultimate Breaks and Beats compilations and soon after from their own crate-dug collections. A true Hip-Hop head, he tagged every so often and used the letters "M E N T," hence his deejay/producer moniker. He now added Plus to give himself the strength to focus on his work amid the industry BS. |

Search | Add | 6 | DVJ Kaa | Laurent Jreijiri | Kaa is a pioneer of the Middle East electronic scene, celebrating his tenth year of Dj’ing in 2008, with over a hundred performances worldwide. Born in 1979, and after growing up during the Lebanese civil war, he is expatriated to France in 1989 where he’ll accomplish his education. A musician since his young, he plays the piano, the guitar, oriental percussions and experiments on all kind of hybrid instruments. In 1998 Kaa decides to take his career seriously as a self-accomplished Dj. 1999 was the year where he and his Lebanese friends founded the Beirut Underground (Bug System) project, developing the electronic scene through unique events in the Middle East. After graduating from a French Graphic design school, he decides in 2001 to launch his Vj project, the Visual Suspects; because according to his philosophy the visuals could not exist without the music, they are two elements intimately linked. These two musical and graphic projects will thus be merged together, giving us: The Kaa. Being among the first to initialize a new and single performance of a DJ and a VJ together, creating the term of DVJ - an audiovisual concept completely synchronized. After joining Tribal Vision records, Kaa releases his first compilation called “Cabaret” in June 2008, a concept of the electronic modern ball, featuring highly respected artists from the progressive scene such as Dousk, Luke Porter, Duca, Brisker & Magitman, Tegma and more. His first track “Red Led” co-produced with Motion, also appears on this compilation. In 2008 he became the artistic director and resident dj for the “Progressiv’ nights” parties organized by Gaia Concept at the Nix Nox – in the center of Paris. In charge of making the line -ups, he would be booking some of the most talented artists such as Vibrasphere, Side-A, Solead, Jaia, D-sens, Dj Pena, Dj Ondrej, Dj Mc Gregor just to name a few. Following the steps of his ancestors the Phoenicians, Kaa has performed in many countries such as Mexico, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, India, and all around Europe! He has also played in prestigious venues such as The Mass and the University Of London in the U.K, the Trabendo & the Batofar in Paris, at B018 in Beirut, and more recently in Asia’s biggest club based in New Delhi: The Elevate. He has also been invited to perform at large scale events such as the Techno Parade in Paris and the Street Parade in Bologna. He was in charge of the visual projections during various showcases at the Champs-Elysées’ Fnac. His musical knowledge has made him play with many icons of the electronic scene such as Plasticman aka Richie Hawtin, Jerome Isma-Ae, D-Nox & Beckers, Francesco Farfa, Tall Paul, Antix, Tegma, Atmos, Dj Kristian, Dj Slater, and many more. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and credits his Caribbean roots as his first musical influence, an amalgamation of Latin music and jazz based rhythms. In his formative years, he moved to the U.S. where he grew up listening to and influenced by a wide variety of musical genres, with a particular affinity for British popular music in the 1980's. In the early 90's, he began exploring dance music in nightclubs and illegal raves throughout Florida and Colorado, which eventually led him to DJing and finally producing his own music in the late 90's. Following his move to Barcelona in 2010, he released his first unofficial singles "Letting Go" and "Your Smile" in January 2011. Although he carries a deep love for many genres of electronic music, he considers himself a passionate junglist and drum & bass producer. |

Search | Add | 6 | Oliver Petersen | Olli Petersen | Olli Petersen (alias Oliver Petersen), another pseudonym "Olli Zischt" as a policeman in the Swabian rock theater group "Odeng", born in Stuttgart in 1966, is a German guitarist, singer, actor and entrepreneur. He was the guitarist of the New Age Electro Rock formation "Ricochet" from 1983 to 1984. Then guitarist and singer in "Scarlet Heels", a rock band from Stuttgart, who mixed their own songs with covers and in 1987 published a homage to the first victories of tennis legend Steffi Graf (Steffi's Rap). In 1989 he was a founding member of "Gonzo - Schwabenrock from Stuttgart". With this band he released 5 albums and a DVD from the 20th anniversary of the band's 23-year history. First attention came through TV appearances with Gonzo on the SWR show "Mundart & Musik" with Christina Reichert and Uwe Hübner at the beginning of the 90s and the SWR-Landesschau, which was broadcast nationwide. Later through joint appearances with the Swabian rock legends Alexander Köberlein and Wolle Kriwanek (IGA Stuttgart 1993, live broadcast on Radio 7 with around 100,000 listeners on the radio and around 2,500 viewers live on the Killesberg open-air stage). Last but not least, as a band member of Gonzo, he was part of the exhibition and the accompanying volume "Swabian Pictures - For the Construction of a Regional Character" of the Ludwig Uhland Institute for Empirical Cultural Studies at the University of Tübingen. After leaving Gonzo, he founded the Swabian rock theater formation "Odeng" with other colleagues from the local music scene in the greater Stuttgart area. Here, own songs in Swabian dialect were combined with a criminalistic stage play in dialect, in which traditional Swabian dishes combined with a dialect rock theater were presented as a "full Swabian event" for the first time. In 2014 he took first place in the audience voting at the TROLLINGER SONG CONTEST of the wine cooperative in the Stuttgart area with ODENG and the song "Trollinger, guader Wei für guade Leut" ("Trollinger, good wine for good people"). In addition to his work as a musician and independent management consultant (M&A consultant), he appeared from time to time in supporting roles in various TV formats from 2011 onwards. Most recently in 2019 as a gardener in the ZDF series SOKO-Stuttgart in german television. Petersen is married and lives in Stuttgart. |

It was this group that recorded their first record, a 12” EP entitled “The Immortalisation of Tick Tick” in 1980. Shortly after this the line-up was expanded by the addition of Ste Weatherall and Paul Fowler and went on to record the "My Swelling Heart" EP- finally released by Linear Obsessional in 2013. This group played some high-profile concerts in the North East, including gigs supporting The Fall and [a=Pink Military]. Further line-ups followed, including a stint under the name "The Maid’s Neck" before finally calling it a day in 1982. | |
