Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | Д.А.М.А.Т.

Search | Add | 6 | GeroMetal | GeroMetaL | GeroMetal was a Serbian heavy metal band from Novi Sad.The band was formed by a former Griva member Josip Sabo (guitar) and a well-known comic book artist Bane Kerac (drums). The band started their activity in 1992, when Sabo and Kerac were joined by a former Albatorosi member Predrag "Peđa" Moldvaji (bass guitar). Initially, the band performed covers by Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Free, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and others, but with humorous Serbian language lyrics. These songs were released in 1993 on the album Der Rauch Am Wasser (German for "Smoke on the Water"). In 1996, the band was joined by vocalist Dušan Uvalić "Francuz", a former vocalist for the bands Annathema and Crash. This lineup recorded new songs, released during the same year on the album Cat Claw, named after the comic book superhero of the same name created by Kerac. In 1998, after a number of concerts across Vojvodina, Uvalić left GeroMetal to join the reformed Annathema, and two members of the band Kraj, Viktor Moldvaji (Predrag Moldvaji's son, guitar) and Nenad Petković (the bass guitarist in Kraj, on keyboards in GeroMetal), joined the band. Until the end of their career the band performed occasionally only, performing mostly in Novi Sad. In 2000, the band disbanded. |

Search | Add | 6 | Draaiorgel de Vijfbeelden | Draaiorgel De Vijf Beelden | Dutch barrel organ (street organ) "De Vijf Beelden" (The Five Figures). Originally build before 1910 in Paris by the Gasparini company and named after the five figures at its front, one conductor, two calling ladies and two rigid (not moving) ladies in dance posture. In 1926, when it belonged to Louis Holvoet, completely remodeled by the Carl Frei company in Breda, which removed the figures in the front and added two side panels with fashionably dressed ladies. After it was acquired by Henk Möhlmann from Amsterdam, the organ's front received three new figures, in addition to the side panels, so that it again deserved its original name, "De Vijf Beelden." |

Search | Add | 6 | Syncretism | Syncretism, NOUN : the amalgamation of different religions, cultures or schools of thought. Dave Scotland and Peter Koppes first met in a different time as musical partner guitarists in a Glam Rock band called Baby Grande. Achieving some notoriety and success, the band ran its fiery course but ultimately fell apart. Peter soon after became one of the founding members of The Church which has become one of the enduring Australian acts able to achieve world wide success. Meanwhile, Dave kept away from the spotlight after an unproductive solo recording career with Wizard Records, at the time a part of EMI. But he kept songwriting and recording because the flame wouldn't go out. Recently, an opportunity arose for Peter and Dave to revive their musical co-writing and performing friendship. The music flowed from this and suddenly a first album was born with all instruments played by Peter and Dave. Peter wrote wonderful story-telling lyrics that allowed Dave to record vocals on the songs. The resulting record is very much a collaborative effort. This is and we are Syncretism.

Search | Add | 6 | Strip The Threads | Strip The Thread’s short existence in 2001, which only lasted for a year, left a memorable impact upon the Dutch Straight Edge hardcore scene. At the time, there were very few European bands who played straight forward clean-cut hardcore, inspired by the ones from a recent past such as Chain of Strenght, Hands Tied, Mouthpiece and Over The Line. On top of that: Strip The Threads consisted of members who were committed to the Straight Edge, (formerly) being part of bands like Reaching Forward, Know Your Enemy, Abusive Action, Product X and One Day Closer. With a budget of no more than just a couple of euros, the band released a limited edition 6 song demo-tape that was recorded in someone’s basement within a day. It sold out immediately and has never been re-released ever since, not until the songs were re-recorded and released as the "Won't hold back" EP by NOT JUST WORDS records not until 2010, but including two new songs. A year after their last show Strip The Threads made a guest appearance at the final show of fellow band Reaching Forward in 2002, the last time that all of the original members got together to play for a completely packed Goudvishal (Arnhem/Holland). A demo, some shirts, a handfull of shows and an amazing EP is what's left of Strip The Thread's legacy. Strip The Threads was: Johan - vocals Arthur - guitar Harm / Arold - bass Daan - drums Strip The Threads on the EP-recording: Johan - vocals / guitar Ries - drums Arthur - guitar / bass

Manager of the Marquee club from 1968 1970, John Gee is one of key figures of the club who turned the focus of the club to new music styles. Often described as a Frank Sinatra freak who had no appreciation for new styles of music, John Gee was in fact a man completely committed to the development of jazz music in the UK and was the one who bid for it's fusion with new forms of music. Under the banner of "New Paths", Gee gave an opportunity to bands like Jethro Tull , Circus and King Crimson on the Sunday nights of 1969. The figure of John Gee is also associated with the birth of the rhythm and blues days in London. Gee became secretary of the club in 1968 and a year later, under his influence, the club had extended it's offer from Thursdays to a three night schedule (Monday, Thursday and Sunday).

Search | Add | 6 | Deep Water Reunion | The Deep Water Reunion | Members circa 1966 - 1970: Barbara Raney Bob Hayes Jerry Miller Brent Webster Brad Kamp Keith Skue History: C.f. "The Rivermen" formed in Little Rock, Arkansas in the early-to-mid 1960s: [a3576197] The Rivermen recorded and released a couple of singles within their local, Little Rock market before disbanding. A couple of years later, The Deep Water Reunion emerged on the scene in New Orleans when former "Rivermen" Jerry Miller, Barbara Raney, and Bob Hayes reunited there. The band played locally and even appeared on Bourbon Street before beginning a more extensive, two year tour. The tour eventually brought them to the upper midwest. In early 1968 they traveled to Nashville to record a single for RCA Records: "Ruby Foo." While the band had developed something of a regional following, it was during their tour through the upper midwest that they recorded the bulk of their material. They recorded two live albums in St. Paul, Minnesota over a couple of nights in the late spring / early summer of 1968. They returned to the area the following year to record their only studio album, "DWR", in Minneapolis. While some have come to think of them as "a Minnesota band" in the years since they disbanded, they were truly an Arkansas band with a Minnesota connection that only emerged later in their career. The Deep Water Reunion's unique renderings of some of the most popular songs of the late 1960s had kept them in demand for several years, and they have retained a sort of cult following to this day. But by the early 1970s the members again went their separate ways. Subsequently, members Hayes and Miller played as solo artists and in other bands throughout the midwest (and beyond), while Barbara Raney continued as a solo artist, and had a regional country rock hit in 1983. Singles / 7" releases: "Ruby Foo / I Wanna Know" RCA Victor – 47-9609 (1968) [r4688909] "It's All Over Now Baby Blue / Break My Mind" (Self released / Jerral, 1970) LPs: 1968: "Deep Water" -- Recorded "live at The Showboat." 1968: "Deepwater (161)" -- Recorded "live at The Showboat." Note: As both of these live albums were recorded at the same venue and share the same center labels, they are sometimes misunderstood as a single album with a re-issue. What differentiates each are different setlists, different matrix numbers, and different album jacket artwork. 1969: "DWR" - Studio album recorded at Sound 80 in Minneapolis, and released on the band's own "Jerral Records" imprint. Radio Play: "Cindy's Crying" Following the 1969 release of "DWR", this cover of a Tom Paxton song became a signature tune on Clyde Clifford's cutting-edge "Beaker Street" program on KAAY 1090 out of Little Rock. While KAAY's 'clear channel' status helped the band's rendition reach a very dedicated audience, the song was never released as a single. Today their rendition is both true to the underground status of the band and the nature of the Beaker Street program, itself. In other words it has become truly iconic. Name Variations: The Deep Water Reunion is rendered as "Deep Water" (live album / labels), "Deepwater" (cover, live album / 161), and "Deep Water Reunion" ("DWR", cover - Jerral.) |

Search | Add | 6 | SpiderSimpson | SpiderSimpson are a Rock/Alternative band consisting of members Adam Zindani (vocals/guitar), Sam Yapp (drums), Jo Crofts (guitar), Neil Irving (bass), and Dean Deavall (keyboards). The band was originally formed as 'Casino' in 2003 and changed name following their signing to Polydor in 2006. The band played their first home gig at 'The Railway' music bar in Birmingham during September 2003. Soon after, they were approached to submit five songs for a film company - which were later to become the basis of the soundtrack for the Ultimate Pictures film - 'Global Heresy' starring Alicia Silverstone & Martin Clunes, ironically depicting the trials and tribulations of an up and coming rock'n'roll band. Over the next year, the band went on to build a loyal fan base from the roots up by gigging extensively around the U.K, including supports slots with the Stereophonics, which culminated in being invited to open the Stereophonics 2005 UK tour. During 2005 a self-produced demo caught the attention of the newly formed midlands based rock-radio station - Kerrang, who decided to playlist the band's song 'Lose Myself' during prime time listening hours. The subsequent increase in popularity saw the band continuing to play small local venues and supporting The Suffrajets on their UK tour. 'Lose myself' and 'Heavy metal machine' were both heavily featured for the Gumball 2006 TV show. The band were signed to Polydor in Spring 2006 and recorded their debut album at studio 606 in LA with producer Nick Raskulinecz. The band has seen constant support from Kerrang Radio and local and national fans and have also seen radio support from both Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics. They recently completed the Kerrang Radio Breakthrough Tour with other newley signed bands. But 2007 was a quiet year for the band as Adam became heavily involved with touring with Stereophonics as their live guitarist. Appearing on Radio One's Big Weekend, Later... With Jools Holland, The Friday Night Project, Q Awards and many other shows. He was also hugely involved in the promotion for Stereophonics sixth studio album Pull The Pin. He looks set to continue touring across Europe with the band this year [2008].

Search | Add | 6 | Teldja | Saadia Bakhouch | Saadia Bakhouch known as Teldja ثلجة is an Algerian singer born in Aïn Beïda on June 12, 1953. The main merit of this great singer is in contributing to renew and divulge a musical style known as Chaoui belonging to the culture of the Berber people with the same name. The Chaouis (Amazigh: Icawiyen) are an ethnic group inhabiting the Aurès (Amazigh: ⴰⵡⵔⴰⵙ / Awras), a region located in the north east of Algeria, characterized by a rich history and by the mountain that gives the name to the region. Teldja proposes a revision of the musical heritage of this region, sometimes reinterpreting it using a classically Arabic orchestration, which still arouses various criticisms by various members of the Algerian Berber community who have always considered arabization as absolute evil. Very little is known about the biography of this artist whose art has been gradually forgotten. It seems she have begun to sing at parties and weddings in the early '70s. In 1976 she performed in the city of Ouenza in the company of the folkloric band, generating great appreciation and starting a brilliant but brief career. She has never left her region of origin and has lived between the cities of Annaba and Tebessa, recording several songs among which the best known are: "Ya Salah", "Talaa netsawar" and "Tiri tiri ya teyyara ". During her career she has collaborated with some of the best Algerian composers including: Rabah Driassa and Mohamed Boulifa. In 1984 she was invited for an official performance in the city of Constantine, since then the news about her disappears. |
