Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 11 | Classic The Fist | CLASSIC THE FIST is the acoustic punch against the professional indifference and for more ecstatic nonsense. So, while the techno scene is drowning behind their computer screens in the middle of 50 decibel and shitty 80/30 deals, CLASSIC THE FIST pushes the cat out of the bag with a big bash. TAKE CONTROL AGAIN. Go back to the things that really matter. Don’t take everything too seriously. Full focus on music. Take risks. No more moaning. Do it yourself. Take a stand. Yes or no? Improvisation rules! Perfection wastes action. Show your balls. Smoke, drink, everything. What do you really want? No risk, no fist! So take off your earplugs and get into the dual fistmania because those two techno grenades are taking back control. For many years they have been smashing their tracks into the clubs. Dirty, wild and misted by sweat. Yet meanwhile, the music around them became quieter, the light got brighter and the sweat dried. Promotional pictures got sharper, record sleeves sustainable, social media strategies more strategic. And the music? So so… … but wait, are you sure that is the right thing to say? Before you mention something like that you should take a close look at both sides and enter a dialog. It’s probably a good idea to reconsider altogether with a yogi chai so that nobody feels discriminated and we all stay socially equal. Absolutely everyone’s opinion should be taken into consideration….Fuck TV! Fuck radio! Fuck Yogis! Fuck everything! Buy the record! The design is a disaster. The Facebook page is a catastrophe. But who cares because the sound is hammering away everything. All the strength is put into the tracks, not into exercising disco muscles. Euphoria is sounding through the grooves and energy is smashing through the bass. The sweat is starting to drip again. Get rid of the paralysis, the madness starts now! Let’s go anal! Nice to meet you! Legal Note: CLASSIC THE FIST is uncompromisingly against vegan cat feeding and insistently for women who smile without a reason

Search | Add | 11 | Marco Latrach | Marco was born in Santiago de Chile. With the age of 13 he started to play music. His work was always appreciated by the audience because of his simply and innate fascination for the sound. PLAYING British music, Funk and Rock’n Roll of the 70ies in 2006 he decides to keep these vinyl's in store to dive into the music of the future. In 2008 he made a significant creative change in the way that he started to produce his own music. He published his first EP‘s with the Chilean labels DNW Records, Agua & Sed and Real Music de Italia. In 2010 he made the first big step in his career as a music producer by signing an agreement with the Spanish label Formula Recs of Factomania. The record called «Chile» was released on 13th December 2010 and became a top seller. For this record he received a lot of support and gained recognition of several artists like Paco Osuna, Brothers Vibes, Marco Nastic, Paul Oakenfold and many others. His productions are strongly based in Techno and House, but were often influenced by elements of Rock’n Roll, Funk and Jazz. He also worked with experimental and organic sounds. In any case the groove of his creations stimulates an atmosphere of happiness and peace on the floor. Thanks to his excellent technique in playing music and his capacity of interacting with the audience, he generates exceptional moments on the floor. Listening his music invites you on a magical voyage full of intimacy, love and enthusiasm. Currently, he keeps himself busy with his own music productions and he works as a DJ for the best Chilean clubs, such as Club la Feria and Club the Sol, in May 2012 moved to Berlin Germany. In May 2012 he won the DJ & producer contest "Patagonica" (organized by “Parties 4 Peace") and traveled to Tokio for a 10-day-tour in June 2012. In August 2012 was invited to perform at the party of the friends of Luciano at Ushuaia Ibiza, sharing a cabin with his friend Alfonso León. Today he plays in Chile on the best Underground Curcuit for the chilean music lovers.

Search | Add | 11 | Michael R R Wilson | Michael R. Wilson | The smooth yet uniquely quirky sound that is: michael ЯR wilson Music has always been a part of Michael’s life in one form or another – from singing Blue Skies when cooking Yorkshire puddings in the kitchen, to breakdancing to one of the many 80’s hit musical creations, all the while embracing a diverse library of music and song writing through experience and expression. The results being rewarding and simultaneously addictive. Michael’s musical influences are vast and include Tom Petty, Prince, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Blue Rodeo, Supertramp and the less likely genres of classical music and old time country which ground his soul! Michael’s music style is reflective of his passion for music, life, love, and the freedom to create. Michael finds music to be an inspiration as he continues on the road of self-discovery and exploration with his guitar in hand. As an established Chef de cuisine who enjoys creating culinary delights, Michael began to dabble into the creative aspects of music. With a successful career and happy home life, Michael was looking for a new avenue to express himself. It started by picking up a guitar and signing casually with friends, learning new chords along the way! Fast forward a few years, and following his return to his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, music took a new hold of his soul. Developing his singer/songwriter skills, Michael grew as a musician and learnt to play drums, bass and piano. This lead to his interest in the recording and mixing aspects of producing songs, and he embraced the challenge of a home recording studio. Along the way, the want turned to need to progress, and so was born Supry Sound Productions. Since, more singles have been written, recorded, produced and mixed in this same space, many more instruments have joined the first guitar, and collaborations with other artists are on the horizon. |

Search | Add | 11 | Dallas Cosmas | “I come from a musical family where the piano was central in the home and at gatherings. I was immersed by classical, theatrical, radio-pop before I could string a sentence together. Music found me and took me away really.” - Dallas Cosmas Dallas has been an active musician of Melbourne’s thriving music scene for three decades writing, performing and recording, also touring nationally and holding down a variety of multi-instrumental work. He has performed and produced in all styles for groups, solo and cinematic work. This work includes local and international recording releases, including Aria-charting work. His musical family exposure prompted his pursuits and development. He studied composition; he worked as a session musician and through that became involved in recording which has become his primary musical activity. It has led him on the path of pop, rock, jazz, world-music, soul and gospel. For Dallas, these represent different colours from a wide palette for which he thanks his family. He approaches music without recognising any borders. (Extracts from Neos Kosmos published article by Con Pagonis, 2020)

Search | Add | 11 | Jennifer McCray | Jennifer McCray is a singer / songwriter. Growing up as a part of a musical family, Jennifer's father being a successful recording artist landing a number 1 hit in the 70's with the song "Rock your baby" had given her the opportunity to experience music at a very young age. Jennifer started writing poetry at the young age of 6 years old and has been given singing lessons as well as singing in the church choir . Born in Miami Beach Florida, Jennifer moved to Canada (where her mother is from) and at 17 ventured off to Europe for the first time where her father was living. During a recording session in a studio in Belgium, Jennifer met her future manager Ronny Flas who exclusively signed her as an artist of TSP Records. From then on Jennifer decided to pursue a career in music by experimenting with different styles and writing all her own songs. She got the chance to work in Metropolis studios in London with her first single "Do Anything" a song written by Hawk Wolinski. After a lot of work in songwriting for herself and for other artists as Silvano for which she composed the song "Encore" that reached N°3 in the charts, Jennifer is really concentrating on her debut album. The first single released out of this album was "Connected". It reached N°2 in the charts. After the singles "Connected", "In Your Head" and "Letting Me Go" Jennifer will soon release her first album.

Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Indie-Rock, Alternative Country

In the 1960s, in accordance with President Sukarno's suggestion regarding the Indonesianization of names, Jack changed his name to Jack Lesmana. It was from his parents that Jack inherited his musical talent. In 1942 he founded a jazz group called Dixieland in Jember, East Java. At the age of 15, he joined the Berger Quartet as a guitarist, consisting of Berger (piano), Putirai (drums), and Jumono (bass). Then in 1962 Lesmana's combo played for president Sukarno who liked them though they were not required to play jazz but Indonesian traditional and folk music. They remained the "palace band" until the the coup against Sukarno in 1966. The Jack Lesmana Quintet often performed at jazz events at RRI Surabaya. He had also joined the Navy Music Unit, also in Surabaya. He also founded the Gema Irama Band in Jakarta and made several jazz recording albums with the Irama label. It was then, Indra tried to take the entrance exam at the New South Wales Conservatory School of Music in Sydney and was accepted. In 1979 his son Indra Jack and his family moved to Australia for five years.
