Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

After college and a stint as a US Navy bandsman, John became a college professor, first as assistant director of bands at the University of Texas and later at LSU in Baton Rouge, while arranging and composing for those schools’ bands. Among his most noted works are “Britannia” and “March of the Longhorns,” the latter composed originally for President Lyndon Johnson’s inaugural ceremony in 1965. Over the years John’s music has been published by such companies as Carl Fischer, Big 3, Warner Bros., Southern Music, and most recently by Alfred Music. Search | Add | 11 | Markove | David Markov | Washington D.C American Hardstyle Producer and DJ Markove focuses on producing and mixing hardstyle using a unique blend of raw and euphoric. Whether with an uplifting melody or a punchy bassline, David “Markove” Markov is determined to establish a rare breed of creativity. Hardstyle represents an entire world for David to explore; one full of the melodies trance taught him to love and the powerful, more defined bass he has been yearning for. Hardstyle became a day and night passion following David’s discovery of the genre in high school. Being a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area has presented many obstacles for a genre newcomer. Hardstyle hasn’t reached the shores of the United States en masse yet, but David welcomes the challenge of helping hardstyle to spread amongst his fellow Americans. Markove is a play on the wording of David’s last name. Many people pronounce the name wrong, which led to Markove – a “proper” pronunciation of his last name. |

His work was always appreciated by the audience because of his simply and innate fascination for the sound. PLAYING British music, Funk and Rock’n Roll of the 70ies in 2006 he decides to keep these vinyl's in store to dive into the music of the future. In 2008 he made a significant creative change in the way that he started to produce his own music. He published his first EP‘s with the Chilean labels DNW Records, Agua & Sed and Real Music de Italia. In 2010 he made the first big step in his career as a music producer by signing an agreement with the Spanish label Formula Recs of Factomania. The record called «Chile» was released on 13th December 2010 and became a top seller. For this record he received a lot of support and gained recognition of several artists like Paco Osuna, Brothers Vibes, Marco Nastic, Paul Oakenfold and many others. Search | Add | 11 | Scuba Death | Ricardo Donoso | Ricardo Donoso is a composer, percussionist and electronic musician from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who currently resides in Boston. After having studied composition at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory he has participated in a slew of projects over the years, most notably playing drums for avant-death metal unit Ehnahre and being one half of the ever morphing experimental electronic duo Perispirit. Ricardo's musical vocabulary draws as much from contemporary composition, drone, to techno and noise. Whether on his multifaceted albums or in live performance Donoso's main interest lies in building and manipulating an immersive sound world that blurs the line between light & dark, hope & despair and the past & future – creating a truly timeless & transcendent experience. He has released music on esteemed labels such as Digitalis, Further Records and Hospital Productions and has toured throughout North America, Europe & Asia. His first three albums – Progress Chance (2011), Assimilating The Shadow (2012) and As Iron Sharpens Iron, One Verse Sharpens Another (2013) – were widely celebrated by specialized vehicles such as FACT, Clash and Resident Advisor. His music has been described as a sort of "anti-techno" where polyrhythmic structures and meticulous textures blur any semblance of a bar line, instead collapsing in on itself for moments of striking isolation. His moniker Scuba Death refers to his experience of nearly drowning in the Atlantic ocean when he was young. It's based on themes of fear and death-anxiety and the music he makes under the name is a more somber, with a focus on analogue sound, percussion, sampling and location recordings. |

Search | Add | 11 | Guido Durante | Guido Durante | Guido Durante was born in Italy, near Venice, in 1982. Always passionate about music, he developed a strong interest for electronic sounds thanks to the productions of the mid-nineties he discovered listening to radio stations and through the mixtapes of the most popular clubs in the area, borrowed from older friends. In the same years he started to take piano lessons and practising with decks and records and it was only a matter of time before he discovered some basic audio software, so the natural next step was learning how to produce his own records. After a lot of home experiments, it was in 2006 that he began to work properly in a professional structure, starting to release a flow of productions and remixes, including until now remixes and tracks for labels such Ocean Dark, Reisei, Tanzbar Digital, Progrezo, Soulman, Kina, and his own Keep On Records and Klever Records. At the moment is one of the resident of Soul Club in Conegliano(TV) playing regularly his house selection, and sharing the decks with likeminded artists. |

The project is notable for having developed bomzh-grind ("hobo grindcore") term, which can be generally characterized as an acoustic form of noisecore, either with or without occasional instrumentation, and involving poor recording quality (cellphone AMR recorder quality as an instance). Search | Add | 11 | Dallas Cosmas | “I come from a musical family where the piano was central in the home and at gatherings. I was immersed by classical, theatrical, radio-pop before I could string a sentence together. Music found me and took me away really.” - Dallas Cosmas Dallas has been an active musician of Melbourne’s thriving music scene for three decades writing, performing and recording, also touring nationally and holding down a variety of multi-instrumental work. He has performed and produced in all styles for groups, solo and cinematic work. This work includes local and international recording releases, including Aria-charting work. His musical family exposure prompted his pursuits and development. He studied composition; he worked as a session musician and through that became involved in recording which has become his primary musical activity. It has led him on the path of pop, rock, jazz, world-music, soul and gospel. For Dallas, these represent different colours from a wide palette for which he thanks his family. He approaches music without recognising any borders. (Extracts from Neos Kosmos published article by Con Pagonis, 2020) | |

From the ages of seven to fifteen he sang on radio, television, stage, and in small night clubs. At the age of fifteen, in a city-wide crusade in Asheville, North Carolina, he was saved and immediately felt God’s call to preach. After working to pay his own way through seven years at Bob Jones Academy and University, Ron graduated and immediately entered full-time evangelism. He has continued in this ministry since 1961, having preached in forty-seven states and many foreign countries. The total number of crusades which Dr. Comfort has held is well over 1,400. Evangelist Comfort was honored in 1973 by Maranatha Baptist Bible College with the degree Doctor of Divinity. That same year he was honored by the Bob Jones University Alumni Association for “Outstanding Work in the Field of Evangelism.” Dr. and Mrs. Comfort have been married since 1963. God has blessed their home with three daughters and seven grandchildren to date. Mrs. Comfort serves in the team’s music ministry playing piano and vibra harp. She also works in the children’s meetings and serves as team secretary. In 1989, God used Dr. Comfort to establish Ambassador Baptist College, an old-fashioned, preacher-training college in Shelby, North Carolina. He served as its president for twenty years and continues to serve as the Chancellor. Through the years, Ambassador has put more than seven hundred graduates and former students in ministries around the world. |

He then gradually widened his skills to music producer and composer for Sound Vision - production music library, whose catalogue is distributed all around the world for the audiovisual market. Like a natural evolution, he started working as a passionate producer for ImageSonika, whose most recent project really flourished his skills in contemporary classical and crossover music for film soundtracks, fusing the photography and video production of his business partner Michele Zangrossi.
