Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Little Gnome | ”All things in the world are two. In our minds we are two, good and evil. With our eyes we see two things, things that are fair and things that are ugly. We have the right hand that strikes and makes for evil, and we have the left hand full of kindness, near the heart. One foot may lead us to an evil way, the other foot may lead us to a good. So are all things two, all two.” – Chief Gray Eagle (Letakos-Lesa) Pawnee (1794). Little Gnome and Blackhill are two sides, two perspectives, two parts of one person. Little Gnome as the bright side, Blackhill as the dark one.

Search | Add | 2 | N.Y.C.K. | Nick Acquroff, Dominique Garrard | Acquroff & Garrard live close by in Rye, an hour down the south coast from Melbourne, Australia. They write songs together most weeks and record them on the floor boards that crack on an upright piano, two synthesisers and a recording device that Nick bought one summer during a failed undertaking in journalism. Some nights they make home-made pizza instead. In 2016, after break out single Decision gave them a national audience, the pair toured Australia with Amy Shark, Felix Reibl, and played major Metropolitan shows with Emma Louise, Dope Lemon, Mansionaire and others. They released their debut EP, Alive, in the same year (Through Mushroom Music) and played festivals around Australia, including Big Sound, New Years Eve on the Hill and Peninsula Picnic. In 2018 the band recorded their debut album and return in 2019 with debut single Wild Streak, premiering in 2019. |

Search | Add | 2 | The Skipton Brass Band | Skipton Brass form Yorkshire, UK, started from humble beginnings in the 1870’s as Jack Guy’s Skipton Mission Band, as a temperance organisation, and is now thought to be Skipton’s oldest secular musical organisation. Re-formed after World War I as Skipton Prize Band, the band enjoyed much contest success at Crystal Palace in the 1920’s and 1930’s under the direction of its most famous conductor, Fred Metcalfe. After difficulties in intervening years, the band forged close links with local schools in the 1970’s, producing a vigorous and thriving Senior and Youth Band which laid the foundations for its rise from Fourth Section, to Champion Section status between 1977 and 1989. Along the way, the band has been privileged to contest at many National Finals in such places as the Royal Albert Hall, the Cardiff International Arena and the Birmingham Symphony Hall and has also undertaken numerous broadcasts on television and radio. The band remains amateur despite its considerable success. Playing members receive no remuneration. The band’s success has been due to the hard work and commitment of its players and supporters as well as the continuing support of Skiptonians and local businesses.

As conductor of the choir and orchestra ensembles toured with the school in South Africa, Italy, Romania, Czech Republic and China. Over the years, Ilse Maria Reich has prepared and made possible the collaboration between the school choir "Chorgemeinschaft der Musikschule Städtischen" and the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra in several vocal-symphonic concerts. As organist, she has a wide repertory, from Baroque to contemporary music, playing in several chamber ensembles ans as a soloist. She recorded many discs for labels from Romania and Germany (among them three LPs an one CD were recorded at the Sf. Margret church in Mediaş). Every year she gives organ concerts in Evangelical churches in Transylvania: Sibiu, Mediaş, Braşov, Sighişoara, Râşnov, etc.

These were the days when Simon, Kostas and Manolis were creating music and songs on Simon’s home studio (actually it was a pc, a mixer and a microphone!). Since then, the band has endured few changes in its line up and despite the difficulties and harsh conditions that a Greek-speaking pop-rock band has to face in Greece, it managed to record its first cd under the label of the independent record company "Melissa Music" (which is the offspring of the renowned producer George Pentzikis). In June 2014 the band released its second album, "kokkino" (red in english), named after its red front and back cover. The album was released by Final Touch and distributed by Cobalt. On November 2015 the band self-released its new single and video "portokali". You can watch it on the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtHG-RDtkeY chroma is Konstantinos Sidiropoulos - Vocals, Acoustic Guitar / Harmonica Manolis Petsanakis - Guitar/Vocals Fanis Ploumis - Guitars / Vocals Christos Kiriakopoulos - Bass / Vocals Simon Georgiou - Drums/synths and samplers/vocals ------------ Οι ΧΡΩΜΑ είναι ένα μουσικό σχήμα που δημιουργήθηκε το Φεβρουάριο του 2005.
