Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Antioco | Antioco Fadda | Antioco is an Italian producer of Sardinian origins based in the suburbs of Milan, passionate about music in all its forms, from electronic to classical music. At a young age he became struck by the sounds and emotions that came from listening to tapes of the best DJ sets in the Italian 90s club scene. Over time, these greatly influenced him and allowed his musical background and passion for analog instrumentation to grow. Together with an acute natural curiosity that distinguishes him, his passion pushed him to create a home recording studio filled with synths and drum machines, but never losing track of his main objective. Indeed, his first track entitled “Sexy Ann” - which was entirely written and produced together with his great friend Paolo "Discojuice" - was released in 2017 and included in “Discojuice EP” on the label Milano Underground Records. This first experience allowed him to gain more awareness and knowledge in the world of electronic music and resulted in his writing and producing his first release "The Night Break", a two-track EP published for the Italian label Flankup Recordings and released in the spring of 2020. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Kala Preet | Kala Preet are a punjabi bhangra band formed in the late 60's, their eponymous album Shava Shava released in the 80's remains a classic hit album. Kala Preet continue with love PA's and jamming from time to time. Kala Preet was formed in 1969 at a time when there were no other Indian bands around. At the beginning there were only a couple of band members that really knew how to play an instrument, although not to a professional level. Everyone simply decided what they were going to play and started to teach themselves - incredibly, they reached a professional level and started to play to live audiences. Many of the original band members (mostly from Southall, London) trained by Kala Preet went on to form their own bands such as Heera, Holle Holle, Shava Shava and Alaap, to name a few. The existence of the band continued throughout the 70's and '80's, gradually developing into a Punjabi/Bhangra band. In 1986, Kala Preet went on to release their first album, 'Shava Shava'. The album was produced by leading Asian producer, Deepak Khazanchi. One of Kala Preet's most popular dance floor tracks was 'Gidhey Vich Nachdi Dey'. | |

It contains some compositions based on the principle of “Rajazz”, with research in harmony and a mixture of colours that gives it a unique character, some compositions are flirting with the edges of jazz, with a range of emotions going from the most sweet and deepest and from the most crazy to the most raging.A modern trio that loves groove as well as melodies, and that strives to honour jazz, the music that is called libertarian.

It is not the new wave of music that will dominate the scene and it may not change listeners worldwide. Friction Switch is a band of five individuals making music they love for those that want to hear it. For those that want to feel thick grooves, smooth melodies matched together with loud intense aggression.. For those who want to take the music in and be a part of the emotional experience reflected in every song. That is Friction Switch. Each member of this band puts their heart and soul into the music despite the struggles of life, personal loss, and emotional highs and lows. Each one of them have musical influences that range so far apart, that when they come together it makes a sound extremely unique and enriched, that it makes no comparison to any other sound. With influences ranging from Deftones, Fear Factory, Tool, Pink Floyd, 311, Nirvana, Metallica, NOFX, Pantera, Radio Head and Lagwagon, you can see and hear how these musicians bring many different styles of music to the plate. This band starts with the foundation of rhythm matched by SiG and Shawn who make the drum and bass combination that is definitely the heart of this band. Slamming and accurate techniques are only the scratched surface of what SiG lays down with his talents. 7 string guitarists, Wayne and Ian, are constantly switching rhythm and lead duties throughout the songs, which supply the trademark guitar sound of the band. From heavy driving riffs to intricate chord progressions, this pair provide the heavy edge and melodic backdrop that makes the band breathe. Shawn’s punk influenced bass style brings a distinctive twist to the heavy sound of the band. To complete the circle, Gary’s lead vocals bleed out the pain and anger of real life experiences, with lyrics depicting his inner struggles, and observations of our dying society. Gary and Ian’s duel vocals often times build up to an explosion of violently harsh growls and blood curdling screams. When it is all put together a truly unique sound is born that can simply be described as Friction Switch.

| Search | Add | 2 | Jakub Gołąbek | Jakub Gołąbek (born 1739 in Silesia , died 30 March 1789 in Kraków) was a Polish composer and singer (tenor). In 1773, he became a singing teacher at the Jesuit music boarding house in Kraków, managed by Józef Zygmuntowski. As a musician, he was active first in the chapel of St. Mary's Church, and, from about 1774 until his death, in the cathedral chapel at Wawel, where he sang and for which he composed. In the years 1781–1787 he was a singing teacher at Wacław Sierakowski's music school; he took part in concerts organized by him. The Cantata in honour of St. Stanislaus composed by Gołąbek was performed in 1773 at the court of bishop Kajetan Sołtyk. Gołąbek's music played a significant role in shaping the Polish classical style. It is typical of early classicism, as it refers to the style of baroque music and the Viennese classics in terms of the construction of sonata form, theme structure, treatment of the bass part (basso continuo) and the use of elements of the galant style in slow parts of pieces (for example in Parthia). Gołąbek composed vocal music (for the Rorantists' band), vocal-instrumental music (for the cathedral band) and instrumental music. The latter is characterized by an unconventional approach to composition, especially in the melodic layer of the piece. His symphonies and sacred works were widely known at that time.

| Search | Add | 2 | Vinka Ellesin | Vinka Ellesin was a folk singer who sang Serbian music in the sevdalinka style. The national Serbian community referred to her as the Queen of Sevdalinka. She was born to Serbian immigrants, Djoka and Sophia (Soka) Ellesin, in Akron, Ohio around 1921. By the age of 16, she was singing on a nationally broadcast radio show on WADC. Later, she performed at the Black Whale, a well-known club in Cleveland. In 1938, the bandleader Sammy Kaye invited her to audition to be the lead vocalist in his orchestra, but she turned him down, preferring to continue singing Serbian folk music instead. During World War II, Ellesin performed at the Blue Danube and the Russian Samovar in Detroit, Mich. where she lived. Ellesin stayed in the Pittsburgh area for an extended period of time in the early 1950s while she performed nightly at the Sunrise Inn in Monroeville, Pa. During the 1930s through the 1970s, Ellesin toured throughout North America and Australia while returning to Pittsburgh many times to perform at local Serb National Federation events. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Dreamland Circus | Dreamland Circus is the inspired lovechild of long time friends and collaborators [a=Vagrant (3)], and [a=Shady Monk] (David Gravagno). Driven by their shared love and appreciation for the iconic experimental/ambient/IDM electronic duo [a=Boards of Canada] (brothers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin), the two set out on creating a full length tribute, aimed at honoring the nostalgic sounds and otherworldly vibes associated with BoC*, and after some meticulous tinkering, their first album 'Wonderphase' was complete. 'Wonderphase' was originally release on [l=Eyesix Records] in 2015, but following some unfortunate information that came to light regarding the labels director, and the subsequent disappearance of the label & it's respective platforms, the album was officially unavailable for the better part of 2 years. After some time, thought, and the apparent desire from fans of the release to see it reissued, Dreamland Circus did just that, and re-released the album via their own personal Bandcamp page on July 4th, 2017. The following is a forum post by [a=Vagrant (3)] via the twoism.org (BoC fan website) on the subject: (Tue Jul 04, 2017 8:53 pm) "After the fiasco with Eyesix, our album Wonderphase had no download available. Since then, we have decided to take it upon ourselves to set up a nice pay-what-you-want Bandcamp page for the album. I want to personally thank everyone who pushed us to get this album out again. It means a lot to see such enthusiasm for a project that took quite a long time to complete, made as a passion project and inspired both by the Sandison brothers and the wonderful community that thrives on sites like Twoism. We hope you enjoy the album." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Gargerelli | Since 1970, Gargerelli has delighted audiences with their unique blend of comedy, music, improvisation, magic and impressions at some of New Jersey and New York's most beloved venues. They have performed at The John Harms Center in Englewood, the Playhouse on the Mall, in Paramus, the Peach Grove Inn and Bodles Opera House in Chester, NY. Founded by Vin Gargiulo and Gene Focarelli, they called their act Gargerelli: "Garg" from Gargiulo and "erelli" from Focarelli. (Well, it was better than Foca-giulo!) They added several incredibly talented musicians to round out the act and a most unique comedy group was born. | |
