Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Rebekah Crochett | Rebekah Crochett is the newest member of the Remnant Music family and falls in perfectly with the Billboard charting artists on the label. Bringing a fresh and soulful sound with her, Rebekah specializes in ushering in the spirit through praise and worship. In fact, the first release from her self-titled freshman album is “My Praise is My Weapon.” Born from her own life’s struggles, this track is more than a nice tune encouraging listeners to join her in lifting the names of our Heavenly Father and His beloved Son, but is the battle cry of every war-weary soldier standing for Christ in the face of adversity. Having been taught the importance of praising the Most High throughout trials by her mother, Rebekah was able to exercise that faith firsthand when, at the young age of 28, she suffered a stroke as a result of a hole in her heart. While dealing with the aftermath of that, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). During all of the testing and treatments to manage this chronic disease of the central nervous system, she lost sight in her right eye. Although many people would have slipped into a deep depression or would have begun asking why they were being afflicted with just one of these issues, but rather than succumb to self-pity and doubt, Rebekah turned to the Father and began giving Him her highest praise. Armed with the mighty weapon of praise, she began her road to recovery. Fortunately for her, praise and worship were already deeply rooted in her soul. Having began singing at the age of four, her strong alto voice and dedication to music as a ministry led her to becoming a leader for praise and worship groups. In addition to staying active in this role, she is also the choir director for a Dallas-based church. In addition to her working in the music ministry with Rob, her husband of 12 years and bass guitarist, Rebekah is also a busy stay-at-home wife with a beautiful son whom they adopted. Rebekah is definitely someone to keep an eye on in the gospel music arena. | |

His father, Jimmy Barecky, was a realtor, but also played guitar, wrote songs, and had hosted a "Western music" radio show at one time. In 1969, he was involved in negotiations with music and film producer Albert C. Gannaway of Little Rock, Arkansas, who was planning to open a new television film operation. Barecky persuaded the man to "audition" his teenaged son Norman. According to an article in the Corpus Christi Caller (14 May 1969), Gannaway advised 17-year-old Barecky not to sign any recording contracts until he had first secured copyrights for his original music. It's not clear what sorts of offers Barecky might have received from record companies, but a few years after this meeting he and his father put out a single on their own private label, with music written by Jimmy Barecky and performed by his son Norman. |

Since then we have played plenty of shows and recorded about two handfull of songs. Values we value are a DIY philosophy, having fun with what we are doing and making diverse music without trying to sound like what may be trendy at the time given. This reflects in our first album, 'The Sunny Salt of the Earth', which was out in September 2012. It is a collection of 10 to 11 songs (depending on the type of release) covering the sound range between an accoustic instrumentalization with piano and subtle electronics, and full-on punk rock inspired pop songs. There is also a video out for one of the songs, Rubber Bands." (Text von HP) | |

REVIEWS: "A self-proclaimed music prodigy, Prophis clearly knows that hes one talented cat. His beats can be best described as breakbeats in that they have an electronica/hip-hop duality going on, but clearly there is much more going on here than just that. Prophis music is evolved and a notch above the status quo in such a way that other artists may soon be wondering if they will still be considered original after people have heard this guy. I dont know what they put in the Vermont water where Prophis lives, but whatever it is, it must be good. Prophis is 100% self-taught and ready to make his mark on the music world. Watch for it." - spacecadetz.com.com "This album has been quite an experience of what Hip Hop mixed with many genre's would sound like. Every song from beginning to end is an adventure of what must have been going through the mind of Prophis, an artist that I had the pleasant discovery of through my research of New England Hip Hop. If your the type into being open minded with your musical taste, well this would be, a not to be missed chance to listen and download some amazing works of art. Each song is well written, produced and arranged to perfect "Harmony in Chaos", of course. From the opening "Bang Bang" with it's trip hop feel...through to "Clear the Haze" which has such a catchy sound to it...to the amazing masterpiece of "Dreams Made of You", your not even halfway through the material when your thinking, how incredible this sounds already and realizing you haven't skipped past any songs yet. Other amazing notable stand outs..."Sunshine" .. "Love Is Now", featuring the ab - soul - lutely beautiful Angie Richardson (who should also be checked out, for her seductive sounding productions) .. "My Life Is Wind", which has a bit of a Kanye feel, but what a great song it is .. and please don't miss the amazingly great collaboration of Prophis and the immense talent of Imani Coppola on "Low Gravity", I'm sure these two will have more music together in the future. All throughout, a great well rounded LP for any true music lover to appreciate fully, even the two bonus tracks are very worth peeking in on. I'd give this a very strong 4.5, he most def pulled a Prince on this project, pretty much handling everything. Talent wise he's got it...and I'm sure you'll be seeing and hearing more from this Vermont born artist in the near future. For now sit back, enjoy and appreciate a near masterpiece...I know I have been." - DScribez, "U Are Now Sub-Scribed" Blog On iTunes: "Wow. Simply cannot put this album down. This is the minneapolis Album of the year in my opinion! Buy this album, you will not regret it!" - Pollie Walnuts "Prophis i a very talented producer and artist. His music is a unique mixture of Hip Hop and Electronic styles. I recommend every song on the album, although Sunshine and Dreams made of You are my top 2 favorite. Represent MN and midwest music!" - Tater4 "I haven't heard anything like this EVER. IF you guys like Tricky and Gorillaz you'll love Prophis. Amazing" - Djdeetc Prophis is simply one thing...the sound of the future! Mixing his experience in hip hop with his love for electronic music as well as unique soundscapes, Prophis has the ability to capture the imagination on a plain that is not of the world! ...universal if you will! I believe that this is the artist that our music industry has been waiting for! Definately a must have record! Two thumbs way up! - Blisslybeautiful "Very impressed for this being a Debut album.
