Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 14 | American Standard Band | Formed in Worcester, Massachusetts, The American Standard Band was a five man group that gained significant notice in the 1970s and early ’80s on both the local and national level. Kevin Falvey: Lead singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and co-founder. Cliff Goodwin: Lead guitarist and co-founder. Deric Dyer: Saxes, keyboards, and second lead vocalist. Howard Hersh: Bass player John Riley: Drums ASB toured extensively around New England for several years, focused on what could best be described as hip pop music. Strong on vocal harmonies, high-level musicianship and a fair share of showmanship, they carved out a successful place as a live act. They had an active following and continued to mature as a band over time. In the late mid-1970s, they connected with [l983753] and formed a relationship that led to new opportunities, including producing a number of demo recordings of their material, and obtaining an audition for ASB to become the backing band for [a124497]’s comeback effort starting in 1976. Joe liked what he heard and they were hired to become his band for the next year and a half, touring in Australia and South America, as well as playing gigs in the US. In the meantime, [l8377] had heard good things about the band and signed ASB to an independent production agreement through [l983753]. The band recorded two albums with Island, the first received very good reviews, but failed to be promoted well due to issues by Island’s marketing distribution rights through the Warner Bros. music conglomerate. With a massive recession at the start of the 1980s that damaged the music industry as a whole, the band’s second album has never been released and the option on the band’s contract was not picked up by Island. Falvey continued songwriting and producing music until his early passing in 1999. Goodwin continued to play for Cocker for most of the 1980’s and found success as a sideman for a number of notable music acts. Hersh and Dyer also continued with Cocker and each found similar success as side- and session men with a variety of known artists. | |

| Search | Add | 14 | Jay Storic | Jay Storic is a half-Scottish/half-Croatian DJ/Producer with over 15 years involvement in the industry. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Jay has strong Croatian links through his father, and regularly spends time by the sun-soaked, crystal clear Adriatic. A welcome break from the murky, rain-soaked shores of the North Sea. Jay started out DJing in 1994, becoming heavily involved in clubs Deep, Voodoo, Change and Identity. His seamless and intuitive mixing style secured him numerous residencies for years to come and gained him much respect in the Scottish club scene. After years of playing other people’s tunes, Jay felt the creative itch and turned to music production, where he quickly started churning out his own brand of Deep House. His first commercial release was ‘Another Space’ under the Spacepunks moniker. The track was signed to Whoop Recordings (his favourite label at the time). It received major support from the big guns & featured on numerous compilations. Although the highlight for Jay, was hearing Danny Tenaglia drop the track at Homelands. Jay’s 1st solo release under his real name, ‘Liquid Groove’ was played on Radio 1′s ubiquitous Essential Mix in 2001. It was around this time that Rowan Blades (Breeder) heard Jay’s track ‘Modified’ at a gig and commented: “Man! This is just what I’m looking for…for Rhythm Syndicate” The rest as they say is history. It made it onto Sander Kleinbergs Global Underground mix cd, which went on to sell in large numbers all over the globe. Further collaborations with fellow Spacepunk Martin Kay resulted in 7 releases on local label Zazoo Recordings including a remix of one of Jay’s favourite all time tunes, ‘Resonance’ by Castle Trancelot. After an extended music sabbatical, Jay stormed back onto the scene in 2011, with releases through seminal UK label, Baroque as well as tunes out on Sex on Wax and Wild Records. His next single, ‘Juicy Lucy’ is released on September 24th, to cement a successful first year return to the vanguard of electronic music. Jay is currently putting the finishing touches to his debut album. Stay tuned for news on that…. | |

| Search | Add | 14 | Jason Jollins | Jason Jollins | International DJ, Producer and record label owner Jason Jollins has been a driving force behind the underground electronic dance music movement in New York City since the late 1990's, considered throughout the industry as one of New York City's top Progressive DJ's. In a scene where producers often hold the spotlight, Jason has built a global following based primarily on his DJ sets, with his production work complementing his "DJ" career rather than defining it. Best known for his extended genre-bending DJ sets, Jason has steadily built a reputation for cutting-edge dance floor selections weaved together with precision mixing. His eclectic, diverse and emotional sets are truly a reflection of his evolution as a performer, and reflect not only years of experience but also years of innovation as well. All of this is not hard to imagine given Jason's early found passion for music and performance. From a very young age, it was clear to him that music was his mission, and already turning heads in his youth, Jason's early DJ sets in the nineties created a demand that transformed his passion into a full fledged career. Throughout the years, Jason has held residencies at some of New York City's most prestigious venues such as Crobar, Centro Fly, Filter 14 and Avalon while also holding down a former Godskitchen NY residency. From 2006 to 2010, Jason has played regularly with New York City's top electronic dance music production company Made Event at the city's biggest venues and outdoor events such as Electric Zoo, Roseland Ballroom and Nokia Theatre while also performing extended headlining sets at the world famous super club Pacha New York. Outside of New York, Jason has performed throughout the world earning a loyal following at some of the world's finest venues. He has headlined and co-headlined for the biggest clubbing franchises in the world such as Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen, Ibiza Open, Pacha, Space (to name a few) and he was the only American DJ billed for the world renowned Creamfields Central Europe 2009 festival. Throughout his career, Jason has also shared the stage with many other world renowned DJs such as Armin Van Buuren, Marcus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Carl Cox, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Lee Burridge, Jimmy Van M, Anthony Pappa, Darren Emerson, Oscar G and many others. 2002 was a big year for Jason in terms of exposure as he was featured in the United States biggest clubbing culture magazine "BPM" for taking 1st place Progressive House mix in the BPM magazine dj contest. In the same year, Jason entered two important internet based DJ competitions held on the New York Tranceaddict.com forum and the Europe based Global Underground Forum where he took 1st place in both. | Search | Add | 14 | Andels | Lukáš Puška | Ostrava born Lukáš Puška makes electronic music since his teenage years. Through an electronic music nerds community he managed to work out his skills and own style – at that time heavily influenced by drum and bass – which eventually contributed to his appearance at the Electronic Beats festival in 2008 in Prague. Next years brought further exploring of the electronic music scene and experiments with his own sound. No wonder that you can find Andels’ tracks inspired by dupstep, minimal techno as well as IDM. Later on he finally found his favourite flavours in funk, disco, jazz, house or techno which he can craftily melt together to create a perfect amalgam of hypnagogic dance music. In last years his fanbase was steadily growing thanks to regular feeding of his soundcloud profile and occasional performances, notably the one at the Colours Of Ostrava. Since 2014 he is a fellow of Brno based Kosmospiel DJs platform and the Bastl Instruments community. |

| Search | Add | 13 | Morph.Arts | MORPH.Arts/ZOOM | MORPH.Arts was founded in 1998 after leaving the Fanzine Refraktor. Refraktor made it possible to connect with artists and musicians that were interested in improving the creativity of their work. A virtue of necessity was made for Weissenfelser‘n Mission‘2, who badly needed a graphic conversion for their synthiesound. The first artworks und layouts emerged, and were then further developed. Dolor came to MORPH.Arts after seeing their work from the first job, and a collaboration was formed which prepared them for a partnership with ZOOM, with whom M.A worked until 2002. The designs got more professional, and ZOOM saw to it that deadlines were met. M.A/Z worked for :Wumpscut:, Infact and Nobdrun, which lead to a new contact with the industrial project called Ohrenschmerz from Halle/Leipzig. Many different productions for organizers and artists took place, be it for art, CDs, LPs, posters, or flyers. A meeting with the Tesco Organisation was made who needed a website. For awhile it was featured and run by M.A/Z. Again layouts for artists like Sturmovik, Operation Cleansweep were compiled, including the fantastic patch for Genocide Organ. Innumerable flyers and advertisements were made. In 2002 things quieted down for MORPH.Arts/ZOOM. Due to job-related obligations, there was not enough time for creativity. Zoom and MORPH.Arts was out of mind while time was being devoted to a „normal“ social life. The urge, however, was not lost, and so MORPH.Arts continued to work on. Since then nothing but pure artistic projects have been presented. Personally created graphics for artists, friends and acquaintances are being made. The urge for publicity is not a priority, although a request could/would receive a positive reaction. Sources of inspiration are, and were always the works of Stefan Alt [Ant-Zen]. His influence can be seen at the start of M.A/Z. Additionally inspired by the morbidity of H.R. Giger, who else? Non graphic influences also play a role, like the humor of Josef Hader‘s the Austrian formation Pungent Stench, films for example are U-Turn and Tim Burton‘s Ed Wood. As much as I like skeletons and strange humor, Glenn Danzig, the melancholy romantic from Death In June, and the power of Laibach should not be forgotten! The roots clearly run deep in the „black scene“ and Metal with their facets, but the look is not restricted to only this area. M.A/Z is and was always a mix of everything that moves us. |

| Search | Add | 13 | James Sammon | James William Sammon | James Sammon's career began in his late teens as a pirate radio DJ on Dream FM in Leeds, England. From there he went into club djing through contacts made at the radio stations where he had worked. By 1991 James had begun to press his own vinyl after being inspired by certain records heard whilst managing a record shop. At that time, the sound in the North of England was the Italo Piano sound. This was the sound James stuck with from the early 90s when he released "Whitney Tune" in 1992 through to the release of “Blurred" in 1996. “Blurred” got James his first UK top ten chart hit as Pianoman. Other aliases he has used are Bass Boyz, Piano City Productions, DJ Friendly and Technical steps. After the worldwide success of “Blurred” (which sold 380, 000 copies), problems at the record label James was signed to (London / FFRR) prompted him to start his own labels and publishing company to look after his own material. James currently owns two record labels, [l=Solo Vinyl] and [l=Salford Central Records], along with a publishing company, Blurred Music Publishing. Since 2004 James has concentrated on the genre of house music once again, particularly electro and funky styles. He also writes original songs for his own productions at the hd1 recording studio based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. |

In the late 1960s and early 1970s he played in bands like The Hidden Fifth and then his own Ted House Trio. The trio were a popular house band and played continually in clubs around Victoria, Nanaimo, Vancouver and Abbotsford and did two summers on the BC Ferries. Ted moved to Vancouver in 1974. He continued to work with rock groups and joined the group, [a1030461]. In 1976 he and they caught the interest of [a267660] (Heart's producer) who recorded am album for the fledgling Mushroom label. The record never came out, due to the label's preoccupation with its star group, [a136201]. (One early member of Songbird was [a504644], now of Heart. Howard and Dixon have remained good friends, and Howard played all the guitar parts on Dixon's later solo album Masked Madness as well as co-writing several songs.) Dixon relocated to Seattle and moved on to another record label, Infinity, releasing an album "Fighting Alone" with his group [a1789819]. To support this album they toured much of the U.S. and Canada, sometimes as headliners-sometimes as the opening act, including opening for Rick Springfield. The band were not promoted well and broke up Mentor Mike Flicker, encouraged Dixon to return to the studio in early 1981 where he recorded a solo album "Masked Madness" with some of L.A. and Vancouver's finest session players. Soon thereafter the album was picked up for American distribution by A&M, but failed to sell. Ted went down to Hollywood and did some songwriting with Randy Misner of the Eagles and appeared on the Merv Griffin show before moving back to Vancouver as well as living in Japan for some time. | |

Soon after he relocated to Tyumen, Siberian City where he spend the first 15 years of his life. Music and sports were the only activities that kept him going in the oil- rigged city. At home his father was his main influence and shaped his perception of music. Dad was deeply rooted in good old school rock, in the likes of Beatles, Nazareth, CCR, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne. Didn’t take long for Dimitry to pick up the tennis racket and rock on at the tender age of 4. In addition, his mother's friend was a piano teacher who started tutoring young Dimitry from an early age, which initially was perceived as hardworking and difficult - became easy and interesting. Sports was his little sanctuary, where the body exercised and the mind relaxed, composing a flow of ideas that later on grew more complex. The year was 2002, Dubai was the new city that would in turn add to his aural perception. In the United Arab Emirates he completed high school; in a poly-cultural environment were music, culture and technology coincide hand in hand. His younger brother formed a metal-band soon after Dimitry joined him to express their ideas, in a more sophisticated level. Rhythm guitar intrigued Dimitry and still does to this day. The band has composed over 20 original pieces over the last years, with tastes of heavy metal, brutal death, melodic and the like and now more diverse and stronger than ever. After school Dimitry set off to Prague to study business, however his journey was cut short. Within a year his passion guided him to follow another path. In 2006, back to square one, he joined an audio engineering school in Dubai. Where he successfully completing his audio engineering degree in 2007 and was honored with a bachelor’s degree in Arts. The educational experience equipped him with several valuable tools; and his perception of music grew immensely. Now being able to put each and every one of his ideas on canvas. In this educational journey, he met his co-producer artist, Costas Papa. Although Costas was heavily influenced from house, trance and techno; at some level they had similar visions. This gave birth to the Dimitry Liss & Costas Papa "coalition", formed in 2007 to serve the global community with quality electronic music. Although the project is like a new born baby, it has crawled into several leading indie labels such as Bit Records Mexico, Xela Recordings, Stranamente Records, Total Wipes, Reticent Recordings to name a few. However, Dimitry did not stop there as in early 2009 he ventured to explore the music world in his solo career by signing with few more major underground labels like Frisky Records and Balkan Connection South America Records. Currently Dimitry Liss supports electronic music, he is heavily involved with Dimitry Liss & Costas Papa duo project and his own work as a producer and a DJ, crafting brand new progressive, tech, deep, minimal house tracks for your enjoyment. |
