Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 14 | Mark Corrin | Mark Corrin | The solo project of Mark Corrin, Liverpool born, Manchester based writer, producer & radio broadcaster. Formerly know as Shirokuma, and as a member of Octobuse and Poppycock. Currently presents a weekly radio show for Salford City Radio 94.4FM. Also plays bass for Rose & The Diamond Hand. Has also previously collaborated with the likes of Can's Damo Suzuki, The Fall / Blue Orchid's Una Baines, Max Tundra and Andy Votel and assists with the running of Manchester's Valentine Records. The songs presented here are generally downtempo, melodic and experimental with surrealist lyrics, catchy melodies and short song lengths. The playful and varied musical backings are woven from electronic and organic sound sources and are influenced by psychedelia, world music, cinema and folk. For a bit of history…Mark Corrin's early demo CDRs as Shirokuma made him a regular favourite on John Peel’s BBC Radio 1 Show for the final five years of its broadcast (1999 – 2004). Rob Da Bank and FloMotion’s Nick Luscombe continue to be radio supporters, whilst Shirokuma was made single of the week by both Steve Lamacq and Phil Jupitus during their time at BBC 6 Music. A debut album “Secret Moves At The Midnight Chess Club” was released via Manchester label Faith & Hope records in 2005, which yielded a joint NME single of the week, “Moonlight In The Afternoon”. The track, which the paper curiously confessed “makes us want to have sex in dressing-up clothes”, was also remixed by Max Tundra (Domino Records) and Andy Votel (Twisted Nerve \ B-Music \ Finders Keepers). An EP on Twisted Nerve records came next, before Shirokuma began working with the Manchester electronic & future rock label Valentine Records. Mark Corrin is also very active on the Manchester underground live music scene. |

Search | Add | 14 | Ed Flow | Ed Flow has defined his own brand style of Progressive House and Breakbeat inspired by his clubbing days between London, Tenerife and Ibiza. Being a mixture of British and Spanish descent, it could be said that Ed Flow has been nurtured by the best of both worlds in the Electronic music scene. Jesse Saunders wrote regarding one of Ed’s tracks; ‘Rain, is an exquisitely, beautiful production bringing sound effects, synthetics and hallowed voices to produce a soundscape unparalleled.’ Ed is currently re-launching his own label ‘Soultrade Records’, which will provide us with exquisite monthly releases starting from the month of October 2013. The first of these releases will be ‘Basic Element’ a progressive instrumental that will serve the appetites of both House and Breakbeat lovers alike. Following ‘Basic Element’, the next two releases include ‘A day In June’ as well as a re-release of Rain which will feature new remixes from the Soultrade label. All of the Soultrade Releases will be promoted via various DJ Pools as well as to a select number of EDM radio stations worldwide. Now based in Denmark, Ed Flow has been on the move between the sunny shores of the Canary Islands and Goa, India for the last four years. His experiences in his travels have further inspired him in his quest for developing his own musical expression. Ed Flow says of his music; ‘being able to express my thoughts and emotions through music has helped me in a cathartic sense to release and move forward in my life and this is reflected in my music.’

Search | Add | 14 | Hoigen Ekwalla | Ekwalla Mpouli Eugėne | Hoigen Ekwalla (June 15, 1959 - October 23, 2008), was a Cameroonian singer and composer born in Douala. He recorded his first album "Ndol'am" in 1982. More records followed and in 1988 he received a "Disque d'Or" for his album "Chat Botté". In 1994 he became Artist of the Year in Cameroon with the album "Mon amie". His latest album "Tendresse" was released in 2000. In 2003 Ekwalla became more and more frustrated by the lack of protection against music piracy in Cameroon and then decided to put aside his music career to become a business man. But since music was his real passion, he never truely gave it up. In 2008 he was still working on a new album when health problems forced to him to stop and eventually led to his passing later that same year. |

Search | Add | 14 | Denny Bellens | Denny Bellens | Denny Bellens aka Black Buddha or dBell, was born in the summer of 1980 in Bangkok, Thailand. He arrived in Belgium when he was 12 and continues to reside here, the place he is proud to call home. Music has been his passion since he was a child, he was attracted by two styles of music, The first one being, punk and the other, simply House. Already the young Buddha was talking enthusiastically about the desire to combine these two giants of music into one glorious mix. Just as an experiment, or maybe, just out of pure curiosity, it was to prove a turning point for the young Denny. However, To become member of the popular school groups, you had to have listened to one style of music only? This of course wasn't the written law, but the way he saw it he didn't have a choice. Denny would befriend all the musicians he could, in order to find the inspiration he so desperately needed, he would need to play by these rules. Pressure from his peers and the inability to make this choice meant that Denny was totally alone in this almost unheard of musical change, but he knew that it could change, and he would one day be the one to change the face of what we know as popular music and also to create diversity into what had become a segregated music policy. For him it was ok to be attracted by so many different styles of music and create some kind of crossover. This was the message he needed to share. However this would not prove to be easy and Denny would spend the next few years alone trying these new and radical ideas out in the privacy of his own small studio. It was after this, that he would become fascinated with Dance, soul, and mainstream pop, he started to hear the sound that he was searching for. When he was 15, he joined his brother and other friends as they went out to clubs. This atmosphere drew him even deeper toward House and Dance songs. From that moment, he decided to become DJ. A few years later, when he was 23, he bought a turntable from a friend. This was his real first step toward finally bringing his unique style of music to the masses. After a while, he got the break he needed an opportunity to become a DJ in Club Dodge. Denny enjoyed his small following of kids, who believed in what he was trying to do. His collection of vinyl's expanded very fast. At this time another club in the area 'Club Boccaccio' had organized a DJ Contest, Denny would not did only participate, but won this DJ Contest, practically sweeping all the dull and mundane competition away!! After winning this special event, he was contacted by Club Illusion and he became Resident DJ at Club DeLite. In 2008 he participated the Bonzai Reworx Contest. He didn't win this one, but his remix was officially released on Bonzai Reworx. One year later, his first EP was released on Decibel NYC. Denny was starting to realize his dream, and his following were growing even stronger, this was the start of his revolution! When Club DeLite finally closed there doors, due to whatever reason, he had more time to work on his own productions. Releasing his music this way was much harder, but he still continued. Not long ago, he contacted more active people in the industry and some interesting projects are in progress. His only goal is to release music he loves and spread his music, his style. |

Chaisson got the boys a contract with ABC records who put Felton Jarvis from Nashville in charge of their work. He decided to cut them at Fame, making the Aubrys amongst the first visitors to Muscle Shoals. In time they moved over to the West Coast, part of a large migration of New Orleans musical talent that took that route in the 60s, and hooked up again with Dr John and Harold Battiste in LA.

Search | Add | 14 | Mateusz Morawski | Mateusz Morawski is a Polish musician, composer, producer, guitarist and graphical designer. His music is a mixture of electronic, metal, progressive and breakbeat. He is also designer of all music related artwork, promo materials and videos. * Early career (1996 – 2009) Influenced by PC/Amiga demoscene he started to record first sample-based compositions on his Amstrad 286 PC computer on 4-channel music tracker software. After a few years of experience with multichannel trackers, around 2002 he started to play the electric guitar and made his initial demo guitar recordings on PC multitrack audio software. For the next 7 years he learned music production techniques and developed musical production approach and equipment. * Music releases (2010 – present) Mateusz started to release first tracks independently in 2010 on myspace, later on last.fm and soundcloud under Creative Commons license. Among several published compositions in electronic and metal genres, he considers “Type1a” from 2011 as his first single. It was a classical chillout tune inspired by Tschaikovsky and Mussorgsky symphonies, but produced with electronic instruments. In 2012 he released 2 tracks. “Pursuit Milestone One” explored more breakbeat areas as inspired by The Prodigy and Noisia, while “Doggerland” turned into progressive metal with electronic flavor by including influences from Tool prog metal band. On July 2013 “Doggerland” track was featured as a soundtrack to youtube video “5 Of The Most Gruesome Medieval Torture Devices” on BuzzFeed channel with half million views. In March 2014 Mateusz released a new progressive electronic track titled “Dogger Plant”. According to reviews it sounded like a combination of electronic and film music with similarities to Juno Reactor music for The Matrix Reloaded movie. December 2014 brought a release of a “Hards” hardcore techno single and video. It was a first finished song composed in early tracker times in 1996. It was re-mastered and released eventually after 18 years. His latest single “Higgs Boson Army” is a further development of style introduced on "Dogger Plant". Besides of psychedelic and symphonic structures it also consists of influences from Chemical Brothers and Vangelis works.

Kris moved to New York in 1990 and was in the original Broadway cast of Miss Saigon. He also appeared in a few other Broadway musicals and plays between 1990 and 1995, but none of them was particularly successful. In 1995, he joined Andrew Lloyd Webber's touring company, costarring Sarah Brightman, in Webber's The Music of Night concert. The concert started in New York's Radio City Music Hall and then toured 43 cities in the US. The same concert was moved to Beijing in September 2001, with Elaine Paige replacing Brightman. It was the first time Broadway musical being introduced to mainland China. Kris Phillips also made a big comeback as a recording artist in Asia in 2000. He made two records in 2000 and 2002. He still is one of the highest paid stars in Asia today. Although he works extensively in Asia, Kris keeps an apartment in New York and considers himself a New Yorker. |

Search | Add | 13 | Ceasar K | Cesar Kahwagi | Ceasar K is a DJ, Producer, Label owner, turntablist and record collector from Beirut City. The pioneer of the Breakbeat genre in both Lebanon and the Middle East since the late 90s, Ceasar is today an in-demand remixer and producer with numerous releases on reputable record labels worldwide as well as on his own,‘Vibe Lebanon Records’. Vibe Lebanon is an indepedant EDM entity based in Beirut which is home for an internet radio, a record label as well as an online dance music shop. Winner of the 2004 Heineken Found at Thirst DJ Competition and later on a Jury member in that same competition, he has performed throughout Lebanon, the Middle East, Europe and the USA either as a DJ, a live act or a turntablist. His sets stand out as being highly original and technical with a touch of old school that also reflects in his music, which often carries subtle influences from both the 80s and the 90s. His love for the old school and true DJing culture has also led him to open alongside some of his friends sharing the same passion, the first bar in the middle east dedicated to playing strictly vinyl records--Flipside is the place to be for all record collectors, vinyl DJs and everyone that is passionate about the best music format of all times. Ceasar is also behind another unique concept venue in Beirut ‘The Silver Fatcory’ which is a real operating silverware factory in which he hosts underground events on a regular basis—back to the basics—a purely industrial venue with just an earth shattering sound system and a bar. |

As well as recording solo material under the moniker [a=Wormwood], he teamed with [a=David Khan] and [a=Peter Wright] as part of the industrial rock group leonard Nimoy. During his time with leonard Nimoy, Goodwin introduced many sonic elements and techniques that would eventually be adopted by Khan and Wright in their solo work, including combining metal percussion with electronic rhythms, using amplified bows on electric guitar, and the building of noise-generating electronic devices. Following the demise of leonard Nimoy in 1997, Goodwin worked with Khan and Wright in the gallery-based improv projects Noumenon & Death In A Nasty Accident, but his most significant collaboration was Flinch, where he and Wright created electric guitar chaos which was combined with percussion and vocals from Justine Sharp. In 2001, the next major collaborative kRkRkRk band saw Goodwin join Khan, Ed Wilson and J-mz Robinson in the industrially-flavoured pop band [a=MiG-21]. A more recent collaboration features Goodwin, Khan, and Rustle Covini under the moniker of zer0.
