Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 14 | The Aubry Twins | Tyrone and Jerome Aubry (or “Aubrey” as their name is sometimes spelt) were just about 12 years old when they made their first 45 for Stanley Chaisson's Chase label. They were very popular locally of course playing all the clubs and bars not just in Louisiana but across the state line into Mississippi as well. Chaisson got the boys a contract with ABC records who put Felton Jarvis from Nashville in charge of their work. He decided to cut them at Fame, making the Aubrys amongst the first visitors to Muscle Shoals. In time they moved over to the West Coast, part of a large migration of New Orleans musical talent that took that route in the 60s, and hooked up again with Dr John and Harold Battiste in LA. | |

Baconsson | Keys, Synthesizers, Voice Otto Løfgren | Synthesizers, Voice, Programming WE ARE DIAMOND FUCKIN’ KOBRA Back in 1984 Elin & Emeli-Sofi Lundin from Sweden started a band they named Diamond Kobra. As they had no recording equipment, they tried to figure out a way to get their music on tape. One night they had the chance to get into the Nightingale Studios for small money after the session of another group. They jammed the whole night and recorded a demo tape. Unfortunately a week later the studio was destroyed by a winter storm. It was rebuilt the same year by a new owner and the demo went into a provisional archive with the other remaining material from the studio. In 2017, 34 years later, Rögnvaldr Nyström bought the studio and found the Diamond Kobra demotracks. He remembered the last name on the tape: Lundin and asked his friend Otto Løfgren, who had married a woman from the Lundin family. It turned out his wife Ida was the aunt of the girls. Løfgren is a talented programmer and tech nerd and his friend Bjørn Bors Baconsson has a studio with a tape machine. As they heard the Diamond Kobra tape they knew they had to make an album out of it. It sounded like pure joy from the ’80s. They teamed up with their friends and fellow musicians to bring the music back to life and make an album out of it. The sound from the 1984 recordings was great electronical music that had its own beautiful sound. It was time to add more vicious synthesizers and ripping guitars to blend it all into what Diamond Kobra does best: High-Voltage Darksynth Baconsson, who comes from a film scoring background, wrote a story for the album. A vision about a far future in which each song is one chapter of a novel. The characters and their story came together in the concept album which also contains soundtrack elements. The project began in early 2018 when recordings started in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and USA. Løfgren and Baconsson were extremely happy when outstanding musicians like [a288132] of [a262577], [a3895091] of [a291496], K.D. Johansen of Supercharger and the famous Amott Brothers: [a309929] & [a579681] joined for the album production. The cover artwork was done by well-known movie poster artist Tom Hodge of The Dude Designs. | |

| Search | Add | 14 | Mateusz Morawski | Mateusz Morawski is a Polish musician, composer, producer, guitarist and graphical designer. His music is a mixture of electronic, metal, progressive and breakbeat. He is also designer of all music related artwork, promo materials and videos. * Early career (1996 – 2009) Influenced by PC/Amiga demoscene he started to record first sample-based compositions on his Amstrad 286 PC computer on 4-channel music tracker software. After a few years of experience with multichannel trackers, around 2002 he started to play the electric guitar and made his initial demo guitar recordings on PC multitrack audio software. For the next 7 years he learned music production techniques and developed musical production approach and equipment. * Music releases (2010 – present) Mateusz started to release first tracks independently in 2010 on myspace, later on last.fm and soundcloud under Creative Commons license. Among several published compositions in electronic and metal genres, he considers “Type1a” from 2011 as his first single. It was a classical chillout tune inspired by Tschaikovsky and Mussorgsky symphonies, but produced with electronic instruments. In 2012 he released 2 tracks. “Pursuit Milestone One” explored more breakbeat areas as inspired by The Prodigy and Noisia, while “Doggerland” turned into progressive metal with electronic flavor by including influences from Tool prog metal band. On July 2013 “Doggerland” track was featured as a soundtrack to youtube video “5 Of The Most Gruesome Medieval Torture Devices” on BuzzFeed channel with half million views. In March 2014 Mateusz released a new progressive electronic track titled “Dogger Plant”. According to reviews it sounded like a combination of electronic and film music with similarities to Juno Reactor music for The Matrix Reloaded movie. December 2014 brought a release of a “Hards” hardcore techno single and video. It was a first finished song composed in early tracker times in 1996. It was re-mastered and released eventually after 18 years. His latest single “Higgs Boson Army” is a further development of style introduced on "Dogger Plant". Besides of psychedelic and symphonic structures it also consists of influences from Chemical Brothers and Vangelis works. | |

| Search | Add | 14 | Raymond Family | The Raymond Family | Indo-Trinidadian family band, initially active in Trinidad and Tobago in the early 1960's and 1970s, then migrated to Toronto, Canada. The group consisted of mother Chan, father Cyril, sons Dick, Richard and Ren, and daughters Joan, Carol, Marlene and Cinda. They played a wide variety of Caribbean and International genres in several languages, and also had a stage show involving various feats, including at one time the world record for lowest limbo performance, by Marlene.Their shows and concerts also included, Indian, Hawaiian, French African, and other types of dances, also the rare form of dancing on broken glass barefooted, by Carol. The band evolved and older members branched off to pursue their individual dreams. It was August 31,1973, when The Raymond Family was granted landed immigration status to live in Canada, followed by gaining the privilege and honour of receiving their Canadian Citizenships. The family went on to perform in most of Toronto's Public Schools as part of the Inner City Angels Organization, where performances included workshops to teach how the steelpan was made, singing and dancing contests, and a question period. As part of the wide range of places where The Raymonds played music, some included regular Sunday church services, daily gigs at The Canadian National Exhibition, many summer resorts in surrounding areas of Ontario, Center Island for the Chin Picnic, The Royal Yacht Club, Ontario Place, Science Centre, Caribana Parade, The London Fair, Woodstock/Ont., Weddings, Parties, and other special celebrations, from Rockefeller Center to dignataries in the Government of Canada, and many Charitable events. The Raymond Family performed for the Premiere of the movie, The Sound Of Music, at the Opening Gala Event in Trinidad. Their touring journey included, Venezuela, Martinique, Guadelope, Guyana, Surinam, New York, Buffalo, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Edmonton Alberta, Orillia, Peterborough, Kitchener, small towns or big cities, the band was well received, recognized and honoured for their talents and vast range of music from around the world, which included countries; Poland, Israel, Portugal, Africa, Pakistan, Italy, China, Spain, Britain, South America, India, North America, France and more. In the later years, the group again transformed into a Tassa Group with about 4 to 5 members, including son-in-law Dave Ramlogan, and from time to time, some of Richard's, Carol's and Cinda's children, also played with the Tassa Group. playing mostly for Indian weddings, and also for multicultural festivals and special workshops teaching about Tassa Drum making. Notable events were for: His Honourable Dr. Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Mysuru, India, Diwali Parade Downtown Toronto and many Temple events. Father and leader of the group, made steelpans for the band and also for schools in Toronto, where he taught steelpan to thousands of children. Cyril also made his Tassa drums, and is known to be the person who designed the synthetic skin tassa drum, an invention to accomodate winter weather in Canada, where no heating would be necessary, as it would have typically been done had goat skin been used. When the great hockey match, now referred to as Summit 72, happened, The Raymond Family was watching the game, and that same weekend, on short notice, a news reporter and crew went to their small humble abode, and filmed the family playing a composition Cyril came up with after Canada won the series, it was aired on a tv news station within days. That footage from 53 years ago was added to a film Series made in 2022. entitled, Summit72 Documentary Series, by CBC television. Both parents of The Raymond Family passed, Chan Mary Raymond, in May 1997, and Cyril Raymond, in January 2005. The band ended many years ago, a few members went on to play with other artists, and their music will continue to be their most memorible times they all shared together as atrists. |

In the beginning of the Seventies, like many of teenagers of his generation, this guitarist of western classical formation (he entered the " Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris " in 1965) calls in question the values of the Western culture and started to hit the road of the trip. His voyages took him to California, to Morocco, then to the Antilles; that opened his cultural horizons and was given the name Julien by a young Venezuellian woman, Isabelle Sotto, daugther of the founder of kinetic art. When return to France in 1974, he composed several plays for the traditional guitar, and took part in a creation of the Tunisian director Sharif Allaoui. In 1976 in Paris, during a reception at the future minister of the Egyptian culture, Farouk Hosni, the listening to a disc of the Iraqi musician Mounir Bachir, large main of Oud (Oriental lute captivated him so much so that he gave up the traditional guitar and the jazz harmonies to launch out body and soul in the study of the Arab lute and the refined laws governing the Oriental micro tonal music. But very quickly, the limits of the instrument frustrated him and when he discovered the richnesses offered by the Oriental zither " the qanûn " the search of Julien Weiss took all its dimensions. Consequently he crossed the Orient, from Tunis to Beirut, Baghdad to Cairo, Istanbul to Damas, he followed the teaching of great Masters. Thus he became the disciple then the friend of Mounir Bachir in the honor of whom later he composed a " Bagdadian Suite " interpreted at the time of the Festival of Babylon in Iraq. |

After graduating from Hawaiian Mission Academy, he attended Walla Walla College where, although he enrolled as a pre-medical student, he prepared for the ministry. Following graduation in 1948, Liu served as a minister in the Upper Columbia Conference in the Pacific Northwest beginning in 1949 and was ordained to the ministry in 1954. Three years later he accepted a position in the New York Conference, where he worked for eight years before returning in 1965 to the Pacific Northwest. He was pastor of the Lents SDA church in Portland, Oregon, when died at age 63, following a lengthy illness. In his lifetime, he was a featured soloist at youth congresses, General Conference Sessions, and camp meetings. He gave countless concerts in the Northwest, Hawaiian Islands, and Canada, many being presented as benefit programs to help church projects, and included a song in every sermon he preached. He was also involved in radio ministry and recorded several Chapel Records. Liu and his wife, Bernice Lee, had two sons, Charles Martin and Edward. |

| Search | Add | 13 | Hair Peace Salon | Hair Peace Salon is considered one of the most celebrated indie-rock & power-pop bands in Belarus. The band was formed in 1998. They are a former stage of Bristeil, having over 15 years on the scene path with mostly English language songs. In 2012 the band released the first full LP 'Gentleman', which received positive feedback from music fans and experts. The band members have no hurry to making music. The guys are still young and still having fun: self progress + satisfaction. :) Since 2007 the band has won several awards of rock-n-roll contests, their songs are constantly on-air. The band has taken part in many TV and live radio-shows and hooked a lot of festivals in Belarus and abroad. In mass media their music is described like entwined desperate energy with romantic notes of melancholy and sadness filled deep lyrics with soul uneasiness and plaintive hope for happiness. The music is intense, but melodic and lyrics are a kind of anthem to nobility, firmness and generosity with a bit of self irony and eccentricity. Hair Peace Salon music is imbued with absolutely perceptible emotions, a hook will be hardly to make a jump off from. :) | |

| Search | Add | 13 | Nona Yotova | Нона Йотова | Nona Yotova is an actress, singer, poetess, composer of music and a TV presenter. She is among the first to start composing and performing ethno music, which is now already very modern. Her first album with arrangements by Ivan Lechev was produced in 1993 and ever since it has outlined her original, distinctive and unique style, the roots of which lie in the history and mythology of the Bulgarian land. Unlike those, who are satisfied only with using folklore motives and are considered to be ethno performers only because they are singing folk songs with a new arrangement, Nona has penetrated a lot deeper in the so called ethno mystic and it is from there that she derives the motives and the inspiration to write her music. This is also due to the fact that she has inherited her talent from several generations of musicians. It is not mere chance that the archaeological TV show she is the presenter of on Channel 1 of the Bulgarian National Television is called "Terra Incognita". When the musicologist Rose Mary Statelova plays Nona's songs to her students, one of them says that most probably this is the way the wood-nymphs sing. The a cappella version of the song "I'll be begging you", which has been in the Bulgarian National Radio's fund since 1993 is even considered by some people to be a folk song, which is in itself the greatest recognition for a composer and performer. Nona's song "Macedonian Flamenco" has been included in the music textbooks since 2006. Some of the best Bulgarian musicians like Ivan Lechev, Dani Milev, Mihail Shishkov, Kalin Velyov, Mihail Yosifov, Valchan Valchanov and from time to time Teodosy Spasov as a special guest perform in "Nona Band". And finally what is Nona's style? It could be called ethno jazz, New Age Wave and probably the easiest way to name it is World Music. |

| Search | Add | 13 | Electric Looking Glass | Electric Looking Glass is a baroque pop group from Los Angeles, California. Expect flash melodies in full harmony, with jangly guitars, whirling Hammond, delicate Mellotron and a fab thumping back beat. Sounds of yesterday and visions of tomorrow; a new reflection in pop. Resplendent in their best Carnaby gear this could easily be mistaken for some vintage footage that turned up in a dusty tin at a California auction house. These guys could have been there when The Byrds took The Beatles on a trip in the valley. The realest deal. ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS could only be more perfect if, in reality, it’s still 1967 and we really shouldn’t have had the brown acid. What a trip! The last 63 years has just been our subconscious bending our minds, Sgt Pepper is still teaching the band to play, peace and love reign supreme and the future is bright. To Dream A Dream indeed! Fresh off of their recent debut single on Hypnotic Bridge Records, here comes the second single from ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS via the tastemakers at 13 O’Clock Records. The Los Angeles quartet serve up a double A-sider with a couple of dandy gems loaded with 60’s-style baroque psychedelic flashes and smothered with sugar coated pop-psych goodness! ‘Daffodil Tea Shoppe’ and ‘Dream A Dream’ are both jangly pop songs delivered with all the trimmings, from Mellotron and piano punctuations on to well-crafted vocal harmonies. A confectionery two-sider sure to appease your sweet tooth cravings! Our very own Jon ‘Mojo’ Mills described ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS as “a wholesome quartet that absolutely nails the baroque and psychedelic pop sounds prevalent on both East and West Coasts during the heady days of 1967-68. Recalls the Left Banke, Curt Boettcher, the Peanut Butter Conspiracy et-al and truly captures the sound” //Shindig Mag | |
