Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 14 | Imaginatic | Cristiano Zatta | Born in 1968, Cristiano Zatta has always covered polyhedric roles in the audio and music field. For more than 30 years of his life he has worked behind the scenes as a producer, sound engineer and composer. He then gradually widened his skills to music producer and composer for Sound Vision - production music library, whose catalogue is distributed all around the world for the audiovisual market. Baconsson | Keys, Synthesizers, Voice Otto Løfgren | Synthesizers, Voice, Programming [b]WE ARE DIAMOND FUCKIN’ KOBRA[/b] Back in 1984 Elin & Emeli-Sofi Lundin from Sweden started a band they named Diamond Kobra. As they had no recording equipment, they tried to figure out a way to get their music on tape. One night they had the chance to get into the Nightingale Studios for small money after the session of another group. They jammed the whole night and recorded a demo tape. Unfortunately a week later the studio was destroyed by a winter storm. It was rebuilt the same year by a new owner and the demo went into a provisional archive with the other remaining material from the studio. In 2017, 34 years later, Rögnvaldr Nyström bought the studio and found the Diamond Kobra demotracks. He remembered the last name on the tape: Lundin and asked his friend Otto Løfgren, who had married a woman from the Lundin family. It turned out his wife Ida was the aunt of the girls. Løfgren is a talented programmer and tech nerd and his friend Bjørn Bors Baconsson has a studio with a tape machine. As they heard the Diamond Kobra tape they knew they had to make an album out of it. It sounded like pure joy from the ’80s. They teamed up with their friends and fellow musicians to bring the music back to life and make an album out of it. The sound from the 1984 recordings was great electronical music that had its own beautiful sound. It was time to add more vicious synthesizers and ripping guitars to blend it all into what Diamond Kobra does best: [b]High-Voltage Darksynth[/b] Baconsson, who comes from a film scoring background, wrote a story for the album. A vision about a far future in which each song is one chapter of a novel. The characters and their story came together in the concept album which also contains soundtrack elements. The project began in early 2018 when recordings started in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and USA. Løfgren and Baconsson were extremely happy when outstanding musicians like [a288132] of [a262577], [a3895091] of [a291496], K.D. Johansen of Supercharger and the famous Amott Brothers: [a309929] & [a579681] joined for the album production. The cover artwork was done by well-known movie poster artist Tom Hodge of The Dude Designs. | |

The following year brought the release of a five-song EP entitled GO FOR YOUR GUNS, which gained airplay on radio outside the New York metro area. By 1988, Grimm Jack shifted into full throttle; original vocalist Robin DesForges departed and was replaced by singer Billy Kohout. | |

| Search | Add | 14 | Raymond Family | The Raymond Family | Indo-Trinidadian family band, initially active in Trinidad and Tobago in the early 1960's and 1970s, then migrated to Toronto, Canada. The group consisted of mother Chan, father Cyril, sons Dick, Richard and Ren, and daughters Joan, Carol, Marlene and Cinda. They played a wide variety of Caribbean and International genres in several languages, and also had a stage show involving various feats, including at one time the world record for lowest limbo performance, by Marlene.Their shows and concerts also included, Indian, Hawaiian, French African, and other types of dances, also the rare form of dancing on broken glass barefooted, by Carol. The band evolved and older members branched off to pursue their individual dreams. It was August 31,1973, when The Raymond Family was granted landed immigration status to live in Canada, followed by gaining the privilege and honour of receiving their Canadian Citizenships. The family went on to perform in most of Toronto's Public Schools as part of the Inner City Angels Organization, where performances included workshops to teach how the steelpan was made, singing and dancing contests, and a question period. As part of the wide range of places where The Raymonds played music, some included regular Sunday church services, daily gigs at The Canadian National Exhibition, many summer resorts in surrounding areas of Ontario, Center Island for the Chin Picnic, The Royal Yacht Club, Ontario Place, Science Centre, Caribana Parade, The London Fair, Woodstock/Ont., Weddings, Parties, and other special celebrations, from Rockefeller Center to dignataries in the Government of Canada, and many Charitable events. The Raymond Family performed for the Premiere of the movie, The Sound Of Music, at the Opening Gala Event in Trinidad. Their touring journey included, Venezuela, Martinique, Guadelope, Guyana, Surinam, New York, Buffalo, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Edmonton Alberta, Orillia, Peterborough, Kitchener, small towns or big cities, the band was well received, recognized and honoured for their talents and vast range of music from around the world, which included countries; Poland, Israel, Portugal, Africa, Pakistan, Italy, China, Spain, Britain, South America, India, North America, France and more. In the later years, the group again transformed into a Tassa Group with about 4 to 5 members, including son-in-law Dave Ramlogan, and from time to time, some of Richard's, Carol's and Cinda's children, also played with the Tassa Group. playing mostly for Indian weddings, and also for multicultural festivals and special workshops teaching about Tassa Drum making. Notable events were for: His Honourable Dr. Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Mysuru, India, Diwali Parade Downtown Toronto and many Temple events. Father and leader of the group, made steelpans for the band and also for schools in Toronto, where he taught steelpan to thousands of children. Cyril also made his Tassa drums, and is known to be the person who designed the synthetic skin tassa drum, an invention to accomodate winter weather in Canada, where no heating would be necessary, as it would have typically been done had goat skin been used. When the great hockey match, now referred to as Summit 72, happened, The Raymond Family was watching the game, and that same weekend, on short notice, a news reporter and crew went to their small humble abode, and filmed the family playing a composition Cyril came up with after Canada won the series, it was aired on a tv news station within days. That footage from 53 years ago was added to a film Series made in 2022. entitled, Summit72 Documentary Series, by CBC television. Both parents of The Raymond Family passed, Chan Mary Raymond, in May 1997, and Cyril Raymond, in January 2005. The band ended many years ago, a few members went on to play with other artists, and their music will continue to be their most memorible times they all shared together as atrists. |

| Search | Add | 13 | Electric Looking Glass | Electric Looking Glass is a baroque pop group from Los Angeles, California. Expect flash melodies in full harmony, with jangly guitars, whirling Hammond, delicate Mellotron and a fab thumping back beat. Sounds of yesterday and visions of tomorrow; a new reflection in pop. Resplendent in their best Carnaby gear this could easily be mistaken for some vintage footage that turned up in a dusty tin at a California auction house. These guys could have been there when The Byrds took The Beatles on a trip in the valley. The realest deal. ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS could only be more perfect if, in reality, it’s still 1967 and we really shouldn’t have had the brown acid. What a trip! The last 63 years has just been our subconscious bending our minds, Sgt Pepper is still teaching the band to play, peace and love reign supreme and the future is bright. To Dream A Dream indeed! Fresh off of their recent debut single on Hypnotic Bridge Records, here comes the second single from ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS via the tastemakers at 13 O’Clock Records. The Los Angeles quartet serve up a double A-sider with a couple of dandy gems loaded with 60’s-style baroque psychedelic flashes and smothered with sugar coated pop-psych goodness! ‘Daffodil Tea Shoppe’ and ‘Dream A Dream’ are both jangly pop songs delivered with all the trimmings, from Mellotron and piano punctuations on to well-crafted vocal harmonies. A confectionery two-sider sure to appease your sweet tooth cravings! Our very own Jon ‘Mojo’ Mills described ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS as “a wholesome quartet that absolutely nails the baroque and psychedelic pop sounds prevalent on both East and West Coasts during the heady days of 1967-68. Recalls the Left Banke, Curt Boettcher, the Peanut Butter Conspiracy et-al and truly captures the sound” //Shindig Mag | |

He became the youngest recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1967, given by the Sahitya Akademi (India's National Academy of Letters), for his epic verse play based on the ancient legend of Puran Bhagat, Loona (1965), now considered a masterpiece in modern Punjabi literature,[4] and which also created a new genre, of modern Punjabi kissa. | Search | Add | 13 | Nona Yotova | Нона Йотова | Nona Yotova is an actress, singer, poetess, composer of music and a TV presenter. She is among the first to start composing and performing ethno music, which is now already very modern. Her first album with arrangements by Ivan Lechev was produced in 1993 and ever since it has outlined her original, distinctive and unique style, the roots of which lie in the history and mythology of the Bulgarian land. Unlike those, who are satisfied only with using folklore motives and are considered to be ethno performers only because they are singing folk songs with a new arrangement, Nona has penetrated a lot deeper in the so called ethno mystic and it is from there that she derives the motives and the inspiration to write her music. This is also due to the fact that she has inherited her talent from several generations of musicians. It is not mere chance that the archaeological TV show she is the presenter of on Channel 1 of the Bulgarian National Television is called "Terra Incognita". When the musicologist Rose Mary Statelova plays Nona's songs to her students, one of them says that most probably this is the way the wood-nymphs sing. The a cappella version of the song "I'll be begging you", which has been in the Bulgarian National Radio's fund since 1993 is even considered by some people to be a folk song, which is in itself the greatest recognition for a composer and performer. Nona's song "Macedonian Flamenco" has been included in the music textbooks since 2006. Some of the best Bulgarian musicians like Ivan Lechev, Dani Milev, Mihail Shishkov, Kalin Velyov, Mihail Yosifov, Valchan Valchanov and from time to time Teodosy Spasov as a special guest perform in "Nona Band". And finally what is Nona's style? It could be called ethno jazz, New Age Wave and probably the easiest way to name it is World Music. |
