Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Regenstaufer Musikanten | German brass band from Regenstauf, Bavaria. The birth of the "Regenstaufer Musikanten" was probably heralded in January 1972, when some music enthusiasts, in an animated circle at the regulars' table, decided to establish a brass band and, with this goal in mind, began to organize regular rehearsals. Bernhard Hoffmann (1972-1994) and Oswald Dutz (1994-2003) were instrumental in elevating the "Regenstaufer Musikanten" to an exceptional profile from the conductor's podium. Since 2003, a "new face" – Wolfram Fuchs – has taken the baton and contributed to the renewed motivation of the now generally younger musicians. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Painted Hearts | Australian band, formed in 2005, originally based in Canberra, ACT, relocated to Melbourne. The Painted Hearts were formed in Canberra, Australia in 2005. P.R.Davis sang, played guitar and wrote the songs, Matt Nightingale (later of The Wedded Bliss, Heath Cullen band) played electric upright bass and Kevin Nicol (Noiseworks) played drums. Owen Andrews was recruited to play bass following Nightingale's departure from the band in March 2007. By 2011 Nightingale had re-joined and drums were played by Mike Oakley. Rick Millband took over the drum chair in 2012. The Melbourne based lineup consists of Davis, John Milton (drums), Zoe Frater (bass) and Matt Dixon (guitar). Essentially a live band, improvisational and loose, the self-titled debut album The Painted Hearts was recorded somewhat characteristically in one - whatever goes down goes down - session at Infidel Studios, Queanbeyan in September, 2007 and released in 2008. The second album Volume 2 released in 2011, was recorded in pretty much the same spirit albeit with more of an acoustic sound and sensibility, again relatively quickly over two sessions - this time at Canberra's Cowperson Lounge, through just two microphones. Matt Nightingale rejoined the band on double bass for the Volume 2 sessions and Mike Oakley played drums. The third album, Volume 3, was tracked live once again at Cowperson Lounge in 2014 with basically the same approach, though with the use of a few more mics than the two used on the Volume 2 sessions. Davis and Nightingale are joined by Rick Millband on drums for these sessions. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Syntifik | Representing Vaughn, on the outskirts of Toronto, is an artist with the ability to stand head and shoulders above the ever-growing Canadian Hip Hop Community. Syntifik has all the qualities of a complete emcee; a distinctive drawly flow, strong lyrical prowess, fluid and structured song-writing ability, a deep-rooted spiritual grounding, and most importantly the ability to reach people through music. "What I speak is real, so you thirstin' to listen." Syntifik (pronounced Scientific) has experienced quite a lot in the last year. His first single, the catchy “The Arrival”, burned up T.O. radio during the 2nd quarter of 2002 and earned him a spot on Flow 93.5 “Blazin New Joints” charts one week after its commercial release. He followed that up with the 2nd single, “Trickin”. The DJ Serious produced track has made a big splash, helping to shake-off the sophomore jinx that usually comes with the follow-up single. His soon to be finished E.P., “The World I Live In”, has already received distribution with one of the hottest indies doing it right now, 'nuff Entertainment. Combine that with grants from both Factor and Videofact and you've got a pretty good rookie campaign for the young rapper. “The Arrival”, produced by Soze out of the Hustlemann crew, spending a few months in rotation on Toronto's Flow 93.5 and at its peak was one of the stations most highly requested Canadian tracks. Syntifik's flow and charisma matched perfectly with featured artist Diamond's smooth and precise vocals. That was the single that put the city on notice, Syntifik was a player in the rap game. With the distribution of his 1000 CD's on the Street promotion wrapping up in August of 2002, Tifik prepared his second single, the DJ Serious produced “Trickin”, for the fall. The catchy hook and addictive beat made the song a sure shot hit. Just ask DJ Mastermind who said, "If “Trickin” was any indication about this young MC's talents - the country needs to watch out!!!!" Heads got the message, as “Trickin'” can still be heard in primetime on major radio's hottest shows across the country. “Sparkling Diamonds”, the lead single from the EP, is the first video for Tifik. This song sees the emcee spitting some “jewels for the young brothas”, a departure from his early radio songs. “The World I Live In” finds Tifik doing that a lot. On the album he takes a very serious approach to, not only making a much focused record, but also using it as a medium to drop knowledge on the youth. Tifik's College and University campus show, “The Arrival Tour”, is back again for 2003. After closing 10 dates last year in Ontario, the tours producer, SEMS Entertainment, is looking to go countrywide this year. "I'm looking forward to going out and doing Syntifik", says the versatile emcee, "it gives me a chance to expand my fan base outside the city." Being a part of 13 Ronin, an independent hip-hop crew in the city, Syntifik knows that a strong team, and not one man, is what build greatness. "We have no weak links at all" he said, "The whole team is strong". Now the plan of attack now is to keep making music that the whole city feels. "Were just going to keep flooding the city with the hottest hip-hop out there", says Shabby, of 13 Ronin, "we're not attempting to be hard for the sake of mass appeal, were coming hard because Tifik speaks the truth and he needs to be heard, period." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | John Lalacona | At the age of three, John was singing songs for the family. At seven years of age, he began taking clarinet lessons and saxophone at 13. The synthesis of music and spirituality was familiar to him as he was singled out from his sixth grade parochial choir to sing at funerals, baptisms and special services. By his junior year in high school, he was sitting “first chair” in the Concert and Jazz Bands and had performed a solo at the New York World’s Fair. While in college, John played in jazz, rock, blues and pop groups to prepare for what was eventually to become an expression of faith and praise of God through music. After moving to Columbus, Ohio, more concerts were given at the invitation of pastors and congregations from every Christian denomination. Some of theses included Methodist, Assemblies of God, Catholic and others. In 1979, John released his first recording, “The Shepherd Calls His Sheep.” In 1986, his second recording project was completed and was entitled “Come Now, My Love” inspired by the biblical Song of Songs. In 1992, John released his third album, “Family of Friends — Just Passing Through.” | |

In 1967 the group changed it’s name to the 13th Precinct, with a core lineup of Mike Murphy, Bruce Jensen, Don Dowd and Dennis Milby. Michael Bryan Murphy left the band in 1969 to join the One-Eyed Jacks in Champaign, Illinois, and then went on to sing with REO Speedwagon on their third, fourth and fifth albums. Tom Kurtz replaced Dennis Milby on drums, and then Tim Dowd joined on guitar and vocals as the 13th Precinct continued into the 1970s. | |

He changed his professional name to ‘Marcus Keef’ to avoid any clash or confusion with the slightly older and established photographer Keith Lionel McMillan (b. 16 April 1934, d. 22 March 2012, aged 77). The younger MacMillan obviously decided that a pseudonym would avoid any potential work issues and ‘Keef’ is an obvious take on the Rolling Stones Keith ‘Keef’ Richards, whilst the ‘Marcus’ aspect is of unknown origin. He seems to have started his career around 1968, working predominantly with Vertigo, RCA (Neon) and CBS labels. |

Dedo (voce/trombone), Nicola Costa (chitarra), Adriano Lo Giudice (basso) e Puccio Panettieri (batteria). | |
