Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 14 | The Buzzards of Fuzz | Buzzard Custard (2014 - 2015) The Buzzards of Fuzz (Originally Uncle Van & The Buzzards of Fuzz) are a Desert Rock outfit from Atlanta, Georgia hatched in 2014 and founded by Van Bassman and Benjamin J. Davidow after the dissolution of Uncle Van’s Super Awesome Family Fun Band. The group’s name, a nod to the character' 'Buzzard from Dr. Hunter S. Thompson’s book Hell’s Angels , was meant to change every six months but the idea was scrapped as it was deemed too confusing to follow. Initially the rhythm section included Matt Irvin (Spore Lord , Order of The Owl ) on bass and Zachary Batson on drums. Irvin left the project early on to focus on Spore Lord and was replaced by Chuck Wiles prior to recording any material. In August of 2014 the band began recording at 'LedBelly Sound Studio in Dawsonville, Georgia with Matthew Washburn (Mastodon , Artemis Piledriver). These sessions produced their first EP, Buzzard Custard . The cover art for Buzzard Custard was designed by Lauren Monger (Terrible Terrible Terrible , Vice ). Dr. Thompson appears in the background of the Buzzard Custard cover along with Feather Locklear, TBOF’s bird mascot of sorts. 200 Copies of Buzzard Custard were released on Compact Disc under the name Uncle Van & The Buzzards of Fuzz March 19th 2015. The Buzzard Custard release party was held March 19th, 2018 at The Music Room in Atlanta, Georgia with an attendance of 15 people. December 15th 2017 The Buzzards of Fuzz performed at the Orange Amplifiers Holiday Party at Star Bar in Little Five Points, Atlanta, Georgia with Order of The Owl, The Dirty Magazines and Insomniac – after this performance Wiles switched from bass to drums and Batson switched from drums to bass. Hate City were released on hand numbered hand lathed vinyl at Fuzzstock June 1st 2018 at Star Bar in Little Five Points, Atlanta with Fantomen , Flashback Flash and Twin Criminal . For the remainder of this period the band would perform with guest bass players including Jonathan Lee (The Pinx ), Casey Dorriety (Flashback Flash) and Adam McIntyre (Stonerider ) or with Bassman playing bass and guitar at the same time. 100 copies of The Carrion Collection were released on compact disc August 22nd 2018. Search | Add | 14 | Cayuga's Waiters | A Capella singing group. The Waiters formed as a subset of the Cornell University Glee Club in 1949 and debuted at the Glee Club's 1950 Junior Week concert. Although dressed in standard Glee Club attire (a tuxedo), they distinguished themselves from other Glee Club members by draping towels over their arms—a visual pun on their ensemble's name. Their repertoire included such popular songs as "Mood Indigo", "Mandy", "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye", and "Lord, If I Get My Ticket". By 1951, the group had become much in demand on campus for singing engagements, and they were also enthusiastically received by audiences when on tour with the Glee Club. In 1953, the Waiters conducted their first independent tour—to Bermuda's Harbor Castle Hotel—over the winter holidays, and in the same year, they recorded and cut their first record. In 1956, the Waiters decided they could no longer split their efforts between choral and small group singing and disassociated from the Glee Club. Both organizations went on to enjoy success throughout the remainder of the 20th century. The group was suspended and then "permanently dismissed" by Cornell in 2017 as a result of hazing incidents.

Search | Add | 14 | Ed Flow | Ed Flow has defined his own brand style of Progressive House and Breakbeat inspired by his clubbing days between London, Tenerife and Ibiza. Being a mixture of British and Spanish descent, it could be said that Ed Flow has been nurtured by the best of both worlds in the Electronic music scene. Jesse Saunders wrote regarding one of Ed’s tracks; ‘Rain, is an exquisitely, beautiful production bringing sound effects, synthetics and hallowed voices to produce a soundscape unparalleled.’ Ed is currently re-launching his own label ‘Soultrade Records’, which will provide us with exquisite monthly releases starting from the month of October 2013. The first of these releases will be ‘Basic Element’ a progressive instrumental that will serve the appetites of both House and Breakbeat lovers alike. Following ‘Basic Element’, the next two releases include ‘A day In June’ as well as a re-release of Rain which will feature new remixes from the Soultrade label. All of the Soultrade Releases will be promoted via various DJ Pools as well as to a select number of EDM radio stations worldwide. Now based in Denmark, Ed Flow has been on the move between the sunny shores of the Canary Islands and Goa, India for the last four years. His experiences in his travels have further inspired him in his quest for developing his own musical expression. Ed Flow says of his music; ‘being able to express my thoughts and emotions through music has helped me in a cathartic sense to release and move forward in my life and this is reflected in my music.’

Search | Add | 14 | Jo Wandrini | Johannes Bornlöf | Like any great adventure, the music of Jo Wandrini is menacing and hopeful at the same time. The symphonic compositions grab hold of the audience and sweep them off their feet, carrying them through the crescendo and up to its peak. Jo Wandrini is pure action; the forward-motion of the fervent violins and ponderous drums all contribute to the unequivocal sound of a great battle. Behind the moniker is multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Johannes Bornlöf. His versatile back catalog stretches over an impressive number of genres including solo piano, classic orchestral, 2010s pop and future bass. Born in Uppsala, Sweden, Bornlöf started to hone his craft at an early age. He was banging a drum set before he could talk and with musical talent running through the family, his older brother started giving him piano lessons at the age of eleven. After graduating from high school, he confined himself to the parameters of his home studio - located in the scenic central Swedish community of Dala-Järna - determined to master his craft. With unwavering devotion he kept at it, buying equipment, writing songs and producing local artists, gradually building the solid foundation on which his success lay. In 2012, he joined Epidemic Sound and his unique sense of melody and quality of tone runs like a common thread through all of his projects. Listening to his extensive body of work, one is struck by the ease with which he shifts between different styles. With several of his tracks breaking the 20 million stream mark on Spotify, Johannes Bornlöf is living proof that hard work pays off. |

Search | Add | 14 | Marco Svarda | Marco van der Zwart | Marco Svarda (born 17 December, 1982, in Brunssum, Limburg, the Netherlands), is a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ, primarily focusing on Trance music. Marco started out as a DJ in 1999, and got in amateur music production around the same time, mainly using MOD-tracker programs like Fasttracker II and Sk@le Tracker at first. Making the switch to more professional music production in 2008, using his 'Mykynes' alias. Currently, Marco operates from the city of Zwolle, Overijssel, the Netherlands, and releases his music productions through his own imprint Premier League Recordings. Marco became one of the early adopters of the Choon-platform in 2018, a cryptocurrency based music platform that envisioned to pay artists a more fair share of revenue. With his releases being fairly popular there, it gave his career a new boost to produce more tracks and remixes. Unfortunately, Choon went out of business in October 2019. Building on the connections from Choon, and the trance scene in general, however, Marco already established his own recordlabel Premier League Recordings in September 2019. Nowadays, Marco releases his track through his own label, and on all common major music platforms again. The Marco Svarda sound can be described as classic influenced trance with an old-school feel, and a modern production technique. Marco Svarda is the founder of the [l=Mykynes Music] imprint, on which he releases his independent music and [l=Premier League Recordings], on which he signs releases of himself and others. |

Search | Add | 14 | Jason Jollins | Jason Jollins | International DJ, Producer and record label owner Jason Jollins has been a driving force behind the underground electronic dance music movement in New York City since the late 1990’s, considered throughout the industry as New York City's top Progressive House DJ. In a scene where producers often hold the spotlight, Jason has built a global following based primarily on his DJ sets, with his production work complementing his “DJ” career rather than defining it. Best known for his extended genre-bending DJ sets, Jason has steadily built a reputation for cutting-edge dance floor selections weaved together with precision mixing. His eclectic, diverse and emotional sets are truly a reflection of his evolution as a performer, and reflect not only years of experience but also years of innovation as well. All of this is not hard to imagine given Jason’s early found passion for music and performance. From a very young age, it was clear to him that music was his mission, and already turning heads in his youth, Jason’s early DJ sets in the nineties created a demand that transformed his passion into a full fledged career. Jason started DJ'ing during the late 1980's. Initially spinning freestyle and house music, he continued to cultivate his DJ skills through the early nineties, embracing his love and talent for the art. In 2008, Jason coined the term “Tech-Prog” to describe his unique sound; a skillful blending of progressive house with techno, tech-house and trance elements. Over the past 10 years, Jason has held residencies at some of New York City’s most prestigious venues such as Crobar, Centro Fly, Filter 14 and Avalon while also holding down a former Godskitchen NY residency. For the past 4 years, Jason has held a residency with New York City’s top electronic dance music production company Made Event at the city’s biggest venues and outdoor events such as Roseland Ballroom, Nokia Theatre and Electric Zoo. When he is not playing for Made Event, he can be found performing extended headlining sets at the world famous super club Pacha New York. Throughout his career he has shared the stage with many other renowned DJs such as Sasha, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Steve Lawler, Lee Burridge, Juan Atkins, Armin Van Buuren, Marcus Schulz, Hernan Cattaneo, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Anthony Pappa, Darren Emerson, Oscar G, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Max Graham, and many others. Outside of New York, Jason has a jam-packed international touring schedule where he has earned a loyal following at some of the world’s finest venues. He has also headlined and co-headlined for the biggest clubbing franchises in the world such as Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen, Ibiza Open, Pacha, Space, Privilege and recently he was the only American DJ billed for the world renowned Creamfields Central Europe 2009 festival. In 1998 while attending Rutgers University, Jason started an event production and event promotion company called United Underground to serve as a platform for local, national, and international talent to share their passion within their craft. Since its conception, United Underground has produced events at some of the biggest nightclubs in New York City while also helping to promote some of New York City's most prominent events. 2002 was a big year for Jason in terms of exposure as he was featured in the United States biggest clubbing culture magazine “BPM” for taking 1st place Progressive House mix in the BPM magazine dj contest. In the same year, Jason entered two important internet based DJ competitions held on the New York Tranceaddict.com forum and the Europe based Global Underground Forum where he took 1st place in both. Amidst acquiring exposure on the DJ front, Jason started his record label Acute Recordings. Launched in May of 2002, Acute releases have graced the charts and playlists of many of the world’s top talent including #1 charted releases on the prestigious balance record pool, #1 best selling tracks on beatport.com, and with releases creating buzz in several magazines and media sources. Throughout the years, Jason has appeared on radio stations throughout the world and on many of the top radio stations on the internet. Jason held a monthly radio show on Proton Radio for over 5 years being one of the first dj's to host a live Proton Radio dj show. Jason has also hosted shows on DLA Radio (Dance Latino America Radio), Stream.fm in Bulgaria, Di.Fm (Digitally Imported Radio), and the top internet radio station in Greece DanceRadio.Gr. Currently, Jason directs his music sharing focus into his popular “Jason Jollins presents Acute Sessions Podcast” on iTunes which features dj sets recorded from his live performances around the world and available for free download. Jason has appeared on television programs such as MTV and Fashion TV in several countries while his international performances have been sponsored by companies such as Red Bull, Heineken, Johnny Walker, Marlboro, Camel and Coca-Cola to name a few. These opportunities have considerably elevated Jason's status as a DJ and have given him the platform needed to form the strong following of fans that he has today. In 2010, Jason will continue to tour around the country and globally while releasing the quality tracks that fans have come to expect from Acute Recordings. Jason's diligent work and sacrifices have not gone unnoticed; his passion for music continues to inspire him while his profile continues to rise. |

Search | Add | 14 | Hernan Rivera Unzueta | Hernán Rivera Unzueta | (b. 1930 - d. 2010) Born in the beautiful region of Totora in 1930, eminent thinkers have emerged from this beautiful region. Totora is a city and municipality of Bolivia, capital of the José Carrasco province in the department of Cochabamba, is located 142 km east of the city of Cochabamba, at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level. It is characterized by its buildings with a colonial and republican architecture, with its undulating roofs, where the movie "The Day the Silence Died" was filmed in 1998, when entering it is the first thing that impacts the visitor, from there important ones have also emerged intellectuals such as the writer Dr. Augusto Guzmán Martínez, Armando Soriano Badani and so many illustrious Toreños. There, precisely, the figure of Don Hernán Rivera Unzueta arises, who from a very young age had to work helping his mother for daily bread, without a formal education took advantage of his ability first, playing the harmonium, then with the piano and finally the accordion, was a music teacher since 1947, at the La Paz and Martin Mostajo school for girls in the city of Totora, after several years of experience as a teacher he decided to travel to the city of La Paz in search of of better opportunities. The 60s' opened the "Hernán Rivera Unzueta Accordion Academy", which operated on Ingavi street between Yana-cocha and Junín in the city of La Paz, half a block from Plaza Murillo, recorded 8 discs among small and LPs of unmistakable style, he had the only accordion that had come to Bolivia, with 185 blue bass Hohner brand, dedicating his successes to his beloved Totora whom he always carried in his heart, recording songs like: “Friend”, “Red Carnations” , "Curahuara de Carangas", "Decepción", "El minero", "Los pajarillos", "Noches de Sucre", "Tus miradas" and other songs, which are classic in the accordion performance of Don Hernán Rivera. Accordion teacher, composer and pedagogue, he founded the American School which to this day is still active, with primary and secondary cycles, then opened a private University having educated several generations of young people. Thanks to his vocation to musical art, he created the “National Piano Festival”. This event has been declared by law 4113 as Cultural Heritage of Bolivia, it is held annually in the town of Totora, a Festival that bears his name as a tribute to his meritorious career. Last year 2015 the XII version was held where pianists from all over the country attended, about 160 contestants participated, Master Rivera was decorated, with distinctions for Artistic and Cultural Merit, and was also declared "Favorite Son of Totora". Don Hernán Rivera Unzueta died on February 3, 2010 at the age of 80 in the city of Cochabamba. The Accordion has had important interpreters such as: Macario Pinto in Cbba., Víctor Hugo Zegada from the "Los Planetas" Ensemble, Dulfredo Peñaranda, Pepito Fernández and Oscar Rojas Caballero from the "Los Brillantes" ensemble, Hugo Daza, Jo-sé Barba del "Oriental Trio", Julio Rodrí-guez Berrios of "Los Ases Andinos". |

Many of Hell Bovine's songs have Christian song titles, while the music itself lacks lyrics in favor of vocal noises. Current main label is Lencho Recs, while in the past has worked with awesome noise labels like Vomit Bucket Productions, SkyBurnsBlack Records, and Crippling Pain Records. Search | Add | 14 | O!Dorian | Emil Dorian Löfström | New pop sensation O!Dorian is a figure shrouded in mystery, who first surfaced in the beginning of 2023 with the single “Going to the Mecca”. The theories about his origins are numerous. Some say he is a Jewish prince who got bored of the opulent palace life and decided to pursue a career in music, or possibly a British aristocrat who wanted to exchange his tweed for sequins. Others claim him to be a notable soldier who rose through the ranks of the Army of Lovers to become a no-hit-wonder in the 1990's. Unconfirmed rumours insist that he is either the secret love child of Patsy Stone and Salvador Dali or the result of a very secretive government genetic research project to create the perfect pop star. The simple explanation might be that he is Emil Dorian Löfström, struck with a (not so) sudden case of megalomania and inspired by his artist friends such as Leila K, Army of Lovers and BWO who has decided to write a new chapter to his life's story by taking to the stage and the world of creating music in the genre of Grand Luxury Overdose. |

Search | Add | 14 | Jay Storic | Jay Storic is a half-Scottish/half-Croatian DJ/Producer with over 15 years involvement in the industry. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Jay has strong Croatian links through his father, and regularly spends time by the sun-soaked, crystal clear Adriatic. A welcome break from the murky, rain-soaked shores of the North Sea. Jay started out DJing in 1994, becoming heavily involved in clubs Deep, Voodoo, Change and Identity. His seamless and intuitive mixing style secured him numerous residencies for years to come and gained him much respect in the Scottish club scene. After years of playing other people’s tunes, Jay felt the creative itch and turned to music production, where he quickly started churning out his own brand of Deep House. His first commercial release was ‘Another Space’ under the Spacepunks moniker. The track was signed to Whoop Recordings (his favourite label at the time). It received major support from the big guns & featured on numerous compilations. Although the highlight for Jay, was hearing Danny Tenaglia drop the track at Homelands. Jay’s 1st solo release under his real name, ‘Liquid Groove’ was played on Radio 1′s ubiquitous Essential Mix in 2001. It was around this time that Rowan Blades (Breeder) heard Jay’s track ‘Modified’ at a gig and commented: “Man! This is just what I’m looking for…for Rhythm Syndicate” The rest as they say is history. It made it onto Sander Kleinbergs Global Underground mix cd, which went on to sell in large numbers all over the globe. Further collaborations with fellow Spacepunk Martin Kay resulted in 7 releases on local label Zazoo Recordings including a remix of one of Jay’s favourite all time tunes, ‘Resonance’ by Castle Trancelot. After an extended music sabbatical, Jay stormed back onto the scene in 2011, with releases through seminal UK label, Baroque as well as tunes out on Sex on Wax and Wild Records. His next single, ‘Juicy Lucy’ is released on September 24th, to cement a successful first year return to the vanguard of electronic music. Jay is currently putting the finishing touches to his debut album. Stay tuned for news on that….
