Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Pavees Dance | Aram Bajakian and or Norbert Buerger, guitar Alex Marcelo, keyboards, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, bass also Malcolm Mooney visual art, poetry In 2014, premieres a new collaboration, Sean Noonan Pavees Dance featuring Malcolm Mooney, original singer from CAN In Pavees Dance, Noonan describes himself as an "Irish griot", one who collects tales, legends, and life stories over the course of his journeys and transforms them into raw material, not only from drumming, but in all of his music. Together with Aram Bajakian, his alter ego, and Jamaaladeen Tacuma, mutant bassist from Ornette Coleman's Primetime, they track down Malcolm Mooney, the original Can singer (back to "Monster Movie"). The latter remains famous for having been the shooting-star voice, half Soul, half psychedelic, of one of the more influential experimental Rock bands in History. Jamaaladeen Tacuma perhaps best known for his albums as bandleader on the Gramavision label and for his work with Ornette Coleman during the 1970s and 1980s (particularly in Coleman's Prime Time band). Jamaaladeen's 1988 album Jukebox was nominated for a Grammy Award. Aram Bajakian has performed/recorded with rock legend Lou Reed, Grammy winners Diana Krall and Yusef Lateef, saxophonist John Zorn. "The drummer and composer Sean Noonan approaches postmodern jazz and world music from the same angle of self-discovery ... he manages to make his pieces speak coherently, and in a unified voice." - The New York Times [a=Malcolm Mooney], [a=Sean Noonan], [a=Aram Bajakian], [a=Jamaaladeen Tacuma], [a=Norbert Bürger], [a=Alex Marcelo] | |

In 1984 Brahms decided to capitalize on the aerobic fitness craze and with the aid of two partners, he developed the fitness concept Freedance (the marketing story of the mid-eighties and one of the most successful fitness videos of the year on the Billboard charts). Also MTI was born and became and operating division of Brahm's new company And More Entertainment Corp. In '87 And More Entertainment entered the realm of record production, manufacturing and distribution with the new Miami sound explosion releasing various hits on AME records. Through AME's consulting divisions TDI, Brahms was instrumental in taking Atlantic Records artist Debbie Gibson to the position of top five on Billboard's pop charts. In the 90's Brahms and his wife and partner Claudia, made the transition from music into the ever-changing video industry, expanding into direct acquisition of independent theatrical and direct to video product. By establishing unique distribution relationships with other independent labels under its banner, Brahms has positioned MTI Home Video and its studio partners as one of the fastest growing and uniquely diverse home entertainment companies in the industry.

The first concert, featuring Christmas Carols, was held in 1950 and was followed by others in Washington, D.C., Carnegie Holl, Madison Square Garden, many of which were broadcast by radio stations. In 1959 "Dumka" became a mixed chorus, and it is in this form that it performed extensively in Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto and Montreal. Former chorus directors were Messrs. A. Bernyk, L. Krushelnycky, (first director), O. Mykytiuk, I. Sonevychy, R. Stepaniak, I. Zadorozny, I. Zukowsky. The chorus takes its name from the Ukrainian word "dumka", which means epic folk song, a form popular in the 16th through 18th centuries. The "Dumka" chorus is presently performing under the direction of Semen Komirsky. Mr. Komirsky studied music in Lviv (Ukraine), and was graduated from Uzhorod Music College (Ukraine) as an instructor in vocal music and choral conducting.

His style was characterized by the fusion of elements of progressive rock and jazz, developing one of the musical proposals of greatest interest and originality at the time. They debuted discographically with the album Clarox (1982), after which Enrique Doffiny leaves and Carlos "Morocho" Fernández enters as a new bass player. They also enter the group Duayne Somaroo (leading voice) and the famous percussionist Orlando Poleo. With this formation they record the album Zona Peligrosa (1983), but shortly after they separate. | Search | Add | 5 | Jerry Justice | Jerry "Liberty" Justice | Born July 12, 1935 in Raytown, Missouri Jerome Lamar "Liberty" Justice wrote, played, and sang Bluegrass and Country tunes from 1971 to 1978. He was a member of "Green Side Up" Bluegrass Band who released a Vinyl LP with several of his original songs. He released a country album of his own called "Justice," for which he composed all of the tunes. Update: Jerry performed at Hobo Festivals all over the country from the 1980's until shortly before his death. Using his (and his Father's) stage name, "Liberty Justice" he wrote and recorded at least 40 songs in the hobo and hard life on the road themes assembled as 4 self produced albums of 10 songs each. This collection is now being copyrighted and released posthumously as CDs and Downloads by his widow, Brenda Justice. The collection is being remastered and designed for publication by ArchivalProductions.com. Jerry self-produced and recorded one last album on CD covering Country standards with his wonderful voice and playing called, "Blue River Blues" His other writings and works are being compiled now, including lots of unpublished inspirational songs written in the hospital as he was dying. Hundreds of people knew him as Jerry Justice, thousands loved him as Liberty Justice. A veteran of the Korean War, he served as a member of the United States Airforce. During the 1920's and early 1930's his father John David Justice had ridden the rails as a hobo, seeking work. Adopting the hobo name "Liberty," Jerry followed in his father's footsteps, logging close to 30,000 miles on the rails between 1993 and 1998. In 1996 he was voted National Hobo King at the annual Hobo Convention at Britt, Idaho. He was also dubbed the National Hobo Troubadour. A lifelong resident of Raytown, Jerry "caught the westbound" from his home on 23 Apr 2008 and rode it on in to the Promised Land. His remains were laid to rest in the National Hobo Cemetery which is within Evergreen Cemetery at Britt, Idaho. |

The band consisted of Björn Linné (vocals, guitar, mandolin, dobro), Lasse Johansson (vocals, guitar), Bosse Linné (vocals, violin), Jesper Lindberg (vocals, guitar, banjo) and Lennart Oswaldsson (vocals, bass). | Search | Add | 5 | Brainicide | Brainicide was an American thrash metal band from Akron, Ohio. It was the first of many bands Tim "Ripper" Owens (Beyond Fear, Judas Priest, Iced Earth) fronted in his music career. They recorded three demo tapes called "Brainicide", "Brutal Mentality" and "Dammage Daze". They also recorded a song exclusively for the "Heavy Artillery" compilation called "Payment In Blood". "Brainicide" and "Dammage Daze" were actually recorded under the bands original name, Dammage Inc. They formed in 1986 under this name as a cover band, but began writing original songs and playing a few of them per concert. In August 1988 they recorded their debut demo, releasing some copies as "Dammage Inc." with live bonus tracks, before officially changing names in October and releasing it under the new name, without the live tracks. The live tracks, alongside 1 other, would be remastered in 1989 and released as the "Dammage Daze" demo, a nod to the name of era of the band that the songs were recorded in and represent (Dammage Daze, as in "the Days of Dammage Inc.") Also recorded an unreleased demo of original songs in 1987 with the original Dammage Inc. lineup. This includes their first song "Insane", as well as others such as "Kings of Metal" (which received play on college radio at the time) and the instrumental "Flight of the Dammaged Bumblebee".

| Search | Add | 5 | Aloha Sluts | Aloha Sluts is an instrumental surf-trio from The Netherlands. Their music can be described as a mix between the reverb-drenched surf of Dick Dale and the fuzzy primal rock'n'roll of Link Wray. So how did the three Dutch gentlemen find each other? Unbelievable but true, they met in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA! And this little rock’n’roll fairy tale becomes even more unbelievable if you know that they met in the pool during a poolparty at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly 2014 festival, with one of the worlds best surfbands playing on the stage (Los Straitjackets). Guitarplayer Arny (Los Cheatos, The Last Post) found himself in a conversation with drummer John (Betty’s Doghouse) about, of course, music. After finding out they both play in bands and like surfmusic they decide to get together sometimes. At the same moment bassplayer Eric (Stacy Cats) swims nearby and joins the conversation! In May the band records an EP (Return of the Sluts) with producer Sven Lens (known for his work on the Snoop Dogg & Willie Nelson hit ‘Buy my Medicine’). The EP is released on vinyl by legendary rockabilly label Tombstone Records Holland (Space Cadets, Necromantix) in the beginning of 2016. The cover art of the EP is made by the well known American cartoonist Shawn Dickinson. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Smingus | Smingus | The Polish-American-British band Smingus recently released their new album BLACK DIAMONDS, on Loose Wire Records. The album premiere took place in November 2014. The Band is now preparing a European tour promoting the new album in autumn/winter 2015. The well-travelled multi-national musicians that make up Smingus all met in Krakow, Poland in the mid aughts. Smingus took its time to carve out their own space on the musical landscape by fusing their collective influences to create a unique style steeped in American and British folk as well as blues and experimental rock traditions. Smingus’ debut album LANDSLIDE (2011) garnered glowing reviews and was in heavy rotation on alternative Polish, European and American Radio stations. The band toured heavily behind the album and racked up 150 concerts and festival appearances across Poland and Europe. The pinnacle of the LANDSLIDE tour came on New Year’s Eve 2013 when Smingus played Krakow, Poland’s Market Square just after midnight to an exuberant crowd of over 40,000 people. BLACK DIAMONDS was released in November 2014 on Loose Wire Records and it is full of rich, sonically diverse songs. The album was envisioned as a cohesive sonic experience and even though the sonic pallette may vary song to song, the overall effect of the album is cohesive. Smingus’ songwriting matured a lot from LANDSLIDE and their evolved musicianship, coupled with singer and chief songwriter Dave Molus’ emotionally raw lyrics, are what makes BLACK DIAMONDS a captivating album that listeners will return to time and again. Selected excerpts from BLACK DIAMONDS reviews: "Without a doubt, BLACK DIAMONDS is one of the best Polish albums of the year." Enter The Room - www.entertheroom.pl "The album BLACK DIAMONDS is a production that stands out in many respects. Firstly, we don’t often come across such an international collaboration that includes Polish participation. Secondly, Smingus’ second outing is advanced enough musically that they can easily compete with stars of both the international Folk and Rock scenes.” AltMundi - www.altmundi.pl "Virtually every song on BLACK DIAMONDS is a unique, self-contained work that invites us (this is a bit banal but true) into an entirely new world - a fresh and surprising story. At the same time, BLACK DIAMONDS is very consistent stylistically and despite the perpetual ‘changes’ it somehow offers a cohesive ‘constant’ which allows it to stand up as a collective whole” High Fidelity - www.highfidelity.pl "The tightness of the band in conjunction with a large dose of musical imagination has allowed Smingus to record an album which encapsulates their maturity and perfectly presents their dynamic sonic development. Keep it up!" E-Splot - www .e-splot.pl “BLACK DIAMONDS is a breath of fresh air on the Polish music scene. The richness of sounds and diversity of genres presented in the album ensure that it will strike a chord with many rock enthusiasts." Small Error - www .malyerror.blogspot.com Enjoy your listen and we look forward to working with you in the near future as we book dates for the forthcoming tour. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Gaspard de La Montagne | Gaspard Gigon | Having previously experimented with various styles of music and performed in several acts, Swiss artist Gaspard de la Montagne is distilling his sound into something truly unique, as dark and tough as it is beautiful. Though the elements in his music are sometimes ice-cold, together they leave you feeling the opposite. He impressed with his debut ‘Pôle’ EP in 2013 and again with both ‘Stallion’ and 'Thot' a couple of years later, as his focus shifted from synth-led euphoria to bassy, hybrid techno. Today, his tracks bring the two directions together with seldomly-heard originality. ‘Spectres’, Gaspard’s first EP for his own label Sbire, exhibits this balance as well as any of his music so far. Dark, functional tracks shot with beams of light, where shards of sound react with one another and melody reflects from the edges. |

The band's original songs bring an authentically vintage sound to the modern LA music scene. Drawing on early folk-rock influences, Will began to hone his craft in the traditions laid by the likes of Dylan, Springsteen, Neil Young, and The Band. Gie Few has had success from licensing the use of their music for television and film. The band’s name comes from a Robert Burns poem. ‘Here’s tae us, wha’s like us, gie few and they’re a deed’. Although that initial Celtic influence is not as obvious anymore, the name lives on!
