Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | The Killing Floors | Voted one of Music Connection Magazine's Top 100 Live Performers, The Killing Floors are a Los Angeles five-piece Rock’n'Roll ensemble formed over a shared love of 1960's music and Punk Rock. Since their inception, The Killing Floors have been cranking out infectious 60's-style bangers that fit perfectly next to the unearthed 60’s Garage Rock and Psych compilations. The music leaves no stone unturned, as the band switches from English to Spanish language and instrumental to lyrical songs, showcasing the diversity that is found not only in their musical compositions, but also in their talents. The Killing Floors' live events are phenomenally electrifying, as they are able to capture the audience within their net of pure and intense sonic ferocity. The music, the clothes, the hair, the attitude, the harmonies – all bleed genuineness– and are just but a few of the ingredients that form the very essence of what makes The Killing Floors such a powerhouse; each musician in the group being an integral cog to what is clearly a well-oiled brain-melting Rock’n'Roll machine.

Arriving in a Slovakian commune in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the age of 6, he worked hard to perfect his command of the English language. He began his radio career as a baritone singer, recording "Tancuj, Tancuj," a well-known Slovak folk song, in 1921. Two years later, he performed at Carnegie Hall with noted Australian composer Percy Grainger. He joined NBC in the year of its formation, 1926, as a baritone soloist and announcer. As a radio announcer, Havrilla was heard on NBC's "The Palmolive Hour" from 1927 to 1931, as well as on several other radio programs, including "The Jack Benny Program", CBS's "Strange As It Seems", and Paul Whiteman's radio program. In 1935, he received an award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters naming him “the best radio announcer from the standpoint of pronunciation, articulation, tonal quality, accent, and general cultural effect.” The prestigious Medal for Good Diction was also awarded to Havrilla. Between 1928 and 1946, he narrated Pathe newsreels and travelogues for Universal, Paramount Pictorial, and RKO movie producers. Havrilla joined radio station WPAT in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1946, and transferred to Newark’s WNJR in 1949, his employer at the time of his death on December 7, 1952.

Search | Add | 3 | Sweet Claudette | Claudette Harrell | Blues singer based in Detroit, Michigan, USA area. Born May 5 1942 in Heflin Alabama Died January 6 2020 in Royal Oak Michigan “Sweet Claudette” Harrell-Manning lived life to the fullest. In total, she had seven careers, all of which she started at the bottom and worked her way up with only a high school education. As a young woman, she was a single mother of four children while working full time. A difficult task being an African-American female, pre-civil rights. Born in 1942 in Heflin, Alabama, 1 of 5 children; John, Hank, Claudette, Annie and Eudell. The family lived there until she was 5 years old, when they moved to Chicago. The stayed there only a year before settling in the Detroit area. After graduating from Ferndale High School in 1961(?), Claudette’s first job was a Recruiter for the military during the Vietnam War (although not enlisted). Then she became a nurse at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Next, she worked for Consumers Power, reading meters at first, advancing to Administrative Assistant. I. B. M. hired her into warehouse parts distribution, but she quickly advanced to Employment Recruiter. After several years, she retired to open her own graphic design business. This grew into several other shops/stores of various ceramic creations. It was around this time (age 50) that she caught “The Blues Bug” and began singing in local clubs. Having roots in Alabama, she easily connected to blues artists there as well. With her “sweet” attitude and “spontaneous comedy” performing style, success came quickly. Having already written a book of poetry, songwriting was the next natural step in her evolution. She went on to eventually write, record and release 44 songs on 6 CD’s. Her final “day job” was Administrative Management at Michigan Department of Natural Resources (D.N.R.). It was during this time that she met and eventually married drummer Greg Manning. Together, they have assembled various teams of skilled musicians, performing around the Detroit Metro Area, Canada, and the South. |

Search | Add | 3 | Zangers Van Sint Frans, Venray | Zangers van St. Frans | It was in 1959 that an originally Hague teacher (Mr. Wim Buys) was approached by a also Hague priest. The priest had recently come to Venray (NL) and soon discovered that the Paterskerk had no choir. Wim Buys was asked to settle in Venray to set up a boys' choir. He did not hesitate for a moment; the Singers of St. Frans, named after the Venrayse Franciscan Fathers, was born. The Paterskerk would become their home base. In the past sixties, the choir has seen many highlights: concert tours through Europe (including Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Moscow and Barcelona) and the U.S. The choir joined the international federation Pueri Cantores, where mr. Wim Buys has been international president for quite some time. From a boys 'choir that celebrated Mass in the Paterskerk, the choir grew into a successful men's and boys' choir (for some years even a mixed choir) that received concert invitations from inside and outside Europe. Moreover, the choir has been the start of a musical career and / or study at the conservatory for a number of singers. At the moment the choir consists of about 40 members, varying in age from 7 to 38 years. Unfortunately, Wim Buys will no longer be celebrating the 60th anniversary. After his death, co-conductor Vincent Las from Oss took over the baton and the gavel was handed over to Jos Valks. At present (2020) the choir consists of about 30 members, ranging in age from 8 to 44 years old. The musical direction is in the hands of conductor Geert Verhallen. All members also receive vocal training every Tuesday from vocal teacher Janine Heuts. |

Search | Add | 3 | Socially Ill | In March of 2023, after creating an elaborate concept EP the month prior, Brinley Woodall, the musician behind the project, Socially Ill, was hit with an ounce of inspiration after hearing "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure. Within two months, a concept spawned out of seven tracks, guitars, drums, MIDI instruments, and synthesizers swell creating cohesive musicianship. The three songs featured on all streaming platforms are an introduction to this idea. The album's concept explores depths into the human psyche of an obsessed lover; who disassociates from reality; then reality hits with depression knowing her crush will reject her. Inspired by one EP and three albums from bands that were not known by the mainstream (The Influents, Summer Fazed, Ultra Q, and ZigZag Hearts) both hailing from Oakland, California, The Cure’s alluring tales of love, Oasis’s iconic brit-pop tone, nihilistic philosophy, and Edgar Alan Poe's cynical and dreary poetry. Later in the process, Bob Dylan’s acoustic ballads, lyrical, and vocal ability intrigued her, and then Beck’s track “I Think I’m Falling in Love” was a lyrical inspiration as well. The band Neutral Milk Hotel’s 1998 release, In an Airplane Over the Sea, was also a foundation for surreal lyrics and storytelling. Sage of the Fire Dragon The album opens with the track "Sage of the Fire Dragon" as a synthesizer opens following a flood of sound with swelling guitar, and drums. The lyrical content is the narrator being introduced to her crush, questioning if the crush cares about the relationship the two supposedly have. Later, alcoholism and coping mechanisms are addressed, and the person has to deal with day-to-day life with constant anxiety and paranoia. Love Letter of Self-Deprivation An alluring, haunting, and nostalgic reminiscing of the riff, "In Circles" by Sunny Day Real Estate and The Cure opens this ballad epic. The track demonstrates the narrator's obsessed tendencies towards the crush, learning more about his self-destructive coping mechanisms as the song progresses. The track's chorus is "Influents" inspired by the words "some people care what you say, others want to ruin your day, others have no reason, but you crave a love letter of self-deprivation." The song also references Shakespeare's comedy, Midsummer's Dream. Summer Phase Summer Phase is the third single and final single for the album. This track reminisces on the pop punk music from the 1970s to the present day. It has inspiration ranging from power-pop legends: Cheap Trick, Television and alternative artists: Pixies, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Deftones, Alice In Chains, and Summer Fazed (hence the title). In the story of the album, it is about the lover believing they lost the person they are fascinated with believing they have a chance together. Information about Socially Ill Socially Ill was a solo project formed in Perkinston, Mississippi by Brinley Woodall; during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the pandemic's social distancing measures and the artist's socially anxious nature, they started the solo project. Inspired by the 90s grunge rock movement and the past to present Southern California indie and punk scenes, their influences range from bands like Green Day, Nirvana, Metallica, Ultra Q, and Grumpster. Socially Ill's first EP, Mental Prisoners of the Mental Prison was initially released on February 17, 2022. Their second EP, The Chronicles of Problems with Internal Consciousness, was released on Bandcamp on February 12, 2023. Their second EP was released on other streaming platforms on April 24, 2023, through the distribution service, RouteNote. The ZigZag Hearts, The Influents, Summer Fazed, Oasis, Bob Dylan, and The Cure are Socially Ill's current influences. Their debut album, Love Letter of Self-Deprivation, was released on October 10, 2023. "Special thanks to Greg Schneider (of the bands: The Influents, Summer Fazed, & ZigZag Hearts; photographer; cinematographer) for giving me encouragement for making this happen!" -Socially Ill, The Chronicles of Problems with Internal Consciousness; Bandcamp
