Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

After watching DJ's week in, week out, in awe of what they did and how they did it, he took the plunge and invested in a pair of inexpensive belt drive decks on which he learned the fundamentals of beat matching and mixing. As the love for trance, house and the harder side of house grew, so did the need to upgrade his setup. After purchasing a shiny new pair of Technics 1210 mk2's Stefan secured a spot at the School of Sound Recording in Manchester where he learned new skills, and gained valuable insight into promotional management. After this, he then completed a Radio Production course with Mancat College to further his knowledge of the music business and was a semi-finalist in the National Superstar DJ Competition in 2004. Soon to follow were gigs at some of the big events of that time, notably, TOAST, SIN:ERGY, PUREFILTH, AFFINITY and FUSED. Also, under the management of Logical DJ Agency, he played regular 5 hour funky house sets at Bar Ca in Manchester. After an 8 year absence from the scene due to personal reasons, the love for dance music was still there... 2020 saw Stefan return to DJ'ing, but this time using the digital format. Posting regular trance and hard house sets to his SoundCloud, his audience began to grow at a quick rate and he has since featured on Wanted Underground Sounds birthday livestream as well as on JamJam Radio alongside the likes of Lab4 and HTE, where he reached an audience of thousands. In 2021 he played his first gig for the new hard dance brand Meltdarn in Barnsley, with whom he then went on to secure a residency with. Stefan entered the System Damage DJ competition and came a very commendable 2nd place which secured him a gig at their event in Leicester. Most recently in 2022, Stefan has been playing at gigs up and down the country alongside the likes of Tom Berry, General Bounce, Amber D, and many more playing everything from Trance through to Bounce. In 2023 Stefan has been working with brands such as Sundissential where he played a pre party livestream alongside Jon Bishob and Andy Farley. Stefan has also recently been made a member of the Pulse Promotions (Birmingaham) team as an advisor and graphic designer. Stefan also had his first collab track with Bass Jumper 'Alright' signed to Hi-Five Digital and reached number 1 in the Digital Tool Box charts. Stefan Grainger, a DJ to keep your eyes on, is a multi genre artist of obvious talent whose sets of house, trance and hard house are bursting with the best of classic, upfront, and often unreleased tracks. |

By 1989 they had built a large local following by playing many shows alongside some of the more highly-regarded local acts like Andromeda, Autumn's Ruin, Sacred Heart, Real Steel, and Beyon Devon. By the end of Summer 1989 they were headlining their own shows and co-headlining several of the weekly "Original Heavy Metal Night"s at the Akron Agora with Andromeda, Autumns Ruin and others. They also received extensive coverage within Cleveland's web of Heavy Metal based local and college radio shows, with a live version of "Too Soon Forgotten" receiving significant airplay and the band appearing for interviews and having their show schedules announced. Perhaps the most important shows that that covered them were Bill Peters "Metal on Metal" and (now well-known music photographer) Joe Kleon's "Metalmorphosis", with Metalmorphosis even doing a live broadcast of an entire Lanz End/Andromeda co-headliner at the Akron Agora. Kleon began working closely with the band on several levels and in 1990 they released their debut cassette "Secrets" on Kleon's Metalmorphosis Productions. By 1990 they were playing exclusively headlining shows, usually between 14 to 17 songs each, and they began drawing national attention, including earning the interest of Metal Blade Records. In late 1991 however, they parted ways with brothers Derek Lashua and Brett Lashua (known for his precise drumming as "The Foundation"). They soon formed a Hard Rock band with ex-Montez founder Dan Montez called Fashion Police, which was active until Montez's murder in 1995. After a year-and-a-half hiatus, and recruiting new members Duane Davis (having just left (Shadowplay) and Phil Wise, Lanz End returned to the live circuit, and began playing with national acts (their live return itself was at a co-headliner with Dream Theater). During this time they began the recording of their debut full-length "Tales Untold", which (had it been finished) likely may have been released by Metal Blade). Unfortunately problems within the band caused them to split up before it ever was completed, and in 1993 they disbanded for good. The Lashua brothers currently play in an 80's Hard Rock/Heavy Metal tribute band called 1988 alongside Legion founder Dave Belanger. In the mid 90's Brett played alongside Civil Disobedience founder Tim Dralle and Breaker/Concussion (pre-Civil Disobedience) bassist Ian Shipley in the punk band Lovesick. Unreleased: - "Lanz End" - 5 Song Demo, 1992. Recorded independently in an 8-track recording studio in Cleveland. The only completed songs from the "Tales Untold" album recording sessions, which they broke up during, before any more songs could be finished and before these could be mixed or mastered. 1. The band broke up during the recording process and the album was never completed or released in any form. May have included songs that appeared in their live shows of the era such as "The Beast Within", "No Tomorrow", "Lady Prophecy", "Destiny", "Twisted Reason", "Too Soon Forgotten", "Free Tonight", "Do You Remember?", "Seasons Change", the instrumental "S.N.A.P.", or any of the songs from the unreleased 1992 demo or the 1990 "Secrets" cassette. - "Destiny" - 1 song live demo distributed to various radio stations and fans in 1989, the first recording with Jack Elliot on lead vocals. | |

His works reflect life, love, fidelity and devotion, courage and bravery. Muhammadjon Mirzayev was born on August 13, 1913, in Tashkent in a working-class family. From 1920 he studied at secondary school. In 1932, he joined the Tashkent Textile Combine, and in his spare time he learned to play the mandolin in an amateur club organized by the Railwaymen's Club. In 1936 he was employed by the Uzbek Folk Instruments Ensemble under the Uzbek Philharmonic under the direction of Tokhtasin Jalilov. Here M. Mirzayev was taught to play melodies in rubash by Yusuf Akhun in Kashgar. The young musician soon joined the ensemble, learned the secrets of musical performance and creativity, and went through a life school in this ensemble. His most famous compositions include "Bahor valsi" ("The Spring Waltz") and "Sarvinoz." "Bahor valsi" is played on Uzbek television and radio channels every spring. During his time at NEC, he completed a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Artist Diploma from the school. Bill was principal clarinetist of the Boston Lyric Opera Orchestra and the Boston Ballet Orchestra. He was a founding member of the Boston Music Viva Contemporary Music Ensemble, and performed as a soloist and chamber music player at major concert venues and festivals including Tanglewood, Marlboro, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, the Arnold Schoenberg Institute at USC, ISCM World Music Days, Jeunesses Musicales Berlin, Brucknerfest, Edinburgh, and Holland Festivals. Throughout his career, he also served as principal clarinetist with the Handel & Haydn Society, the Opera Company of Boston Orchestra, the Boston Classical Orchestra, and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. He is best known for his time in the Swedish death metal band Repugnant (1998–2004), where he served as the bass guitarist and co-founder alongside Tobias Forge and Thomas Daun. This was followed by the formation of the pop / rock group Subvision (2002–2008) with the same members, where Lindström remained until 2006, leaving to pursue his career as a studio technician. In 2008, Lindström assisted Tobias Forge with the recording of the very first 6 demos for the band Ghost. He also recorded bass for Ghost’s 2010 debut album “Opus Eponymous” and performed live with the band as the bass guitarist under his stage name “Water Ghoul”, as one of the original Nameless Ghouls, until his departure in 2011. After his departure from Ghost, Lindström continued his musical path as the vocalist of the Swedish heavy metal band Iron Lamb, alongside his longtime bandmate Thomas Daun. With Iron Lamb, he released two EPs and one full-length album. Lindström is also known for his involvement with bands such as Crashdïet (as Mace Kelly) (2000-2002) and Bombstrike (as Loggan) (2004-2005). Banda Alma Nova appeared in July 1989, with the aim of animating dancing parties. At the beginning of 1990, the first album was released by the ACIT label, with the songs "Minutos" and "Garota Linda", written by Ademir Mezacasa and Ademar Flach, both band members. These songs were very popular on mainstream radio stations in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and in the same year of release they were part of a compilation album released by the label. From then on, the band began to perform in clubs in the capital and in the main places of the countryside, conquering a large number of admirers. The next step was the recording of the album "Nossa Canção", released in 1992, with the song "Minha Lady" as its single, a Brazilian Portuguese version of "You're a Woman" by Appledat Hendrix Van Halen, which was immediately accepted by listeners.
