Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Chuck Camp | Charles Richard Camp | (20 Mar 1926 • Peyton, Colorado -- 13 Aug 2003 • Tucson, Arizona) Posthumously inducted into the Tucson Musicians Museum in 2017 along with his widow, Mae Camp. Not your typical cowboy, Chuck Camp held a B.A. in Physics and an M.A. in Education and was a college science teacher. He also served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War, earning the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. A resident of Colorado Springs in the 1950's, Chuck was one of the earlier recruits to the Flying W Wranglers group which provided musical entertainment for Russ Wolfe's Flying W Ranch outfit. In 1969 he left the Flying W group and headed to Tucson, AZ where he founded his own outfit, the Triple C Ranch Chuckwagon and its entertainers, the Triple C Wranglers. He returned to his alma mater on the weekend of Oct 3-4, 1975 when Russ threw a two-day shindig in Colorado Springs to celebrate the nation's bicentennial. Chuck and his wife retired from performing in 1990 and their son Bill took over running the Triple C Ranch operation until the facility closed in 2003. |

Search | Add | 2 | Plastik Kettle | Alessandro Pintus & Corrado Caocci | Alessandro Pintus and Corrado Caocci first met each other in Cagliari (Sardinia) respectively at the age of 17 and 15, at a private party as deejays. They immediately began an ever-intensifying collaboration, oriented towards the experimenting with sounds and melodies in exclusively electronic contexts, up until the creation of the project PLaSTiK KeTTLe, inspired by the universe of robots and the passion for the synth. Within this "plastic-kettle" electro-rhythms are mixed to ambient- textures, vocoders and glitch sounds which, heated by the oscillators of the synths, produce those landscaped images which can exist only in a harmonic world of music and individuals. |

They eventually multiplied and evolved into giant winged creatures, sometimes resembling gargoyles, sometimes angels. Never willing to conform or compromise, they survived on their sole primal instinct of sleep, occasionally dreaming. Sadly, Dreklings met their demise in 2003 at the height of their evolution, having just grown tentacles and the developed the ability to emit a fear toxin from the slits in their wrists.

Search | Add | 2 | Bozon | Bozon | From the CD packaging: The band heard on this CD was Bozon in its final incarnation. Bozon began in the late seventies forging a unique form of jazz-rock in a rehearsal studio (”the space”) behind the Dharma Submarine Shop near the nexus of Market and Van Ness streets in San Francisco. Countless long days and late nights were spent working on complex original compositions that often featured an anarchic sense of humor and “odd” time signatures (with no regard, indeed a disdain for the monotony of the four-four disco beat so prevalent at the time). The diversity of the players’ backgrounds brought a large palette of influences into the mix. Sometimes, this created an overly complicated gumbo of confusion (both for the players and listeners). However, when things did go right, the results could be surprising and sublime. Bozon played a modest succession of rather eccentric parties and gigs, but it was hard to duplicate their sound out of the space. As disco gave way to punk, the handwriting was easy enough to read. The group disbanded in late 1980/early 1981. The bulk of this CD was originally recorded in 1980 in the space on a couple of Teac 40-4 tape decks and the sound quality was pretty dismal. Almost three decades later this material was transferred into the digital realm (none too soon, as the tape was disintegrating) and, in a laborious process, cleaned up. Two of the pieces were originally recorded in 16 and 24 track analog studios and were also moved into Pro Tools for editing. The goal wasn’t to “re-do” the music, but to improve the sonic quality and present some lost work from an unknown band. |

Search | Add | 2 | Stranger The Horse | Stranger The Horse is a rock/indie band from Copenhagen, Denmark consisting of Julian Falck, Anders Christensen, Simon Dyhr, Lasse Storgaard and Jens Stoklund. Julian and Anders met for the first time in 2010 when Julian sat in for the drummer in a band that Anders was playing in. After further collaborating on an album by Karoline Munknæs (Julian as producer, Anders as guitarist), and both of them playing in Pernille Gunvad’s touring band, The Marines, the two guys decided to form a band. While playing loads of concerts at local Copenhagen venues like Rust, Klub Geyser, Operaen and Blaagaards Apotek, they recorded and released a number of songs that all were met with critical acclaim from radcircle.com as well as having one song included on the iTunes release Absolute Danish Artists. The band play homegrown roots music inspired by Ry Cooder, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and The Flaming Lips, as well as countrymusic, punk and various mexican bands. Stranger The Horse combines hauntingly beautiful songs with rock’n’roll energy, the borderless sounds of world music and tight vocal-harmonies. Especially when the band is playing live you can expect a rhythmic and alluring, strange but yet familiar universe. Julian Falck, the main songwriter in Stranger The Horse is no stranger to mixing various music styles and genres. Starting out as a drummer in his father’s band, only 11-years old at the time and playing live almost every weekend until his early 20s, Julian learned to navigate between country, bluegrass, blues and rock on any given night. He was further educated in music as a producer, as well as writing his own music, some of which has been used in Danish television productions such as ”Borgen”, ”Forbrydelsen” and ”Broen”.

Search | Add | 2 | Lives Like Skyscrapers | Our musical influences are vast. The lyrical style speaks to everyday issues with complete honesty in an abstract manner. The instrumentation hits somewhere between Folk, Americana and Indie Rock delivering undertones of hope and optimism. Elements of our collective influences are heard at times, but the style that Lives Like Skyscrapers has created remains constant.

In my projects I combine tradition, authentic singing and improvisation, use some archaic tools – jew’s-harp, didgeridoo, percussion, hooter. In Kyzyl during conversation with shaman Mongushem Kenin-Lopsanom, the founder of shamanistic centre "Dungur", he has revealed my healing abilities and I was directed to work at the "Tos-Deer" shamanistic centre («Nine heavens»)." |
