Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Audioleptique | Bertrand Berrié, Mathieu Bordeleau, Hugues Diaz | Close-knit under the name Audioleptique, those three French DJ’s / Producers are native of Toulouse in the south of France. Music enthusiast, they’ve managed to gather all their influences together to create their own touch: a subtle combination of warm rhythms and minimal melodies, sometimes deep, sometimes percussive, but always groovy. They touched their first vinyl in 2002 and began to play in different clubs in Toulouse. Captivated by the minimal movement in 2006, they’ve chosen to play lively and atypical sets shaped for the dancefloor. In 2007, they created their own concept with other DJ’s, the Lost in Sound parties, which have met a great success. In 2004, they started to produce music as self-taught. Four years later, they’ve improved their technique and their first tracks have been released. |

Search | Add | 4 | Analogue Sea Otter | Boris Otterdam, Jericho Von Ebineezer, Basil F. Starbuck , Horror Fox | This project was started by Boris Otterdam and Jericho Von Ebineezer in Perth, Western Australia in March 1998 after the two met in art school at Carine TAFE. Later members included Basil F. Starbuck and Horror Fox. They performed one show at The Hyde Park Hotel in June 2000, supporting the goth/industrial band "Conditions Apply" The band were all known associates to Perth's punk rock scene in the late 90s and early 2000s. At the time the scene was welcoming to noise, experimental music, techno punks, fashionistas, goths and art idealists. This association lead to the collaboration with then close friends and former Bunbury/Perth punk band Trash Ivory in 1999 as noise punk supergroup "Trash Seaotter". All of the recordings made by them though, were lost in the Cheriton St. fire of 1999. A handful of Analogue Sea Otter recordings were reworked, remastered, and released posthumously by Boris Otterdam on Night Terror Recordings and ENDE Records in 2010 and 2019. Talk of a reunion was made in Melbourne in 2008 but is highly unlikely with the four members now living busy lives with scheduling conflicts and geographical distance too great. |

They also did it on television. From that moment on the appearances of the [a=Quinteto 32] multiplied, achieving remarkable success. This, together with [a=Los Caliope] (with María Elvira as singer [a=Elvira (13)]) were the pioneers in València in terms of student amateur youth music. In the first stage the group consisted of: [a=Juan Roberto González], piano; [a=Francisco Almarche] (Paco), as drums and vibraphone; [a=José Luis Berenguer], as clarinet and sax; [a=Cesar Penadés Camps], as lead guitar and vocals; [a=Salvador Prades] (Soro), as violin and double bass. In 1963 they were signed by the [l=Zafiro] label, which released their first album at the end of the same year with versions of hits such as 'L'Ecole Est Finie' by the French [a=Sheila (5)] or 'Let's Dance' by [a=Chris Montez]. A series of performances and interventions on different stations took them until the beginning of 1965, the date on which they released their second and last EP, also distributed in the form of two singles, a format that was already being imposed on a massive scale by then. Four songs under the recent rhythm called 'surf' and with titles like 'Drink Surf' or 'The Best Remedy'. After a while they became known as "Quinteto 8 Menos Quarto". Once again and as usual, the fulfillment of the military service ruined the continuity of the group. Grupo formado en los años 60 en València y valencianos todos sus componentes. Search | Add | 4 | Planetary Overdrive | Band Members Dan Sturdevant - Guitars / Vocals Natalie Sturdevant - Bass / Vocals Russ Wallace - Keys / Vocals Jarrett Nash - Drums Hometown Louisville, Kentucky Biography Planetary Overdrive formed in March 2016 when husband and wife duo Dan and Natalie Sturdevant wanted to start a Southern Rock band to play the songs Dan had been writing for a few years. They quickly found a drummer (Cam Thomas) and started playing the Louisville club scene. The self titled EP was recorded in fall and winter of ‘16/’17 and released March 2017. It was met with positive reviews by local critics, with John King of 37 Flood remarking, ”The album plays as if Randy Bachman (from Bachman turner Overdrive) recorded an album with Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top) backed by The Donnas. Which is to say, it is a straight up party record. The first track, Party Weekend, is a testament to Planetary Overdrive's skill at rocking the party.” Shortly after the release of the EP long time friend and collaborator of the band Russ Wallace joined in with his talents on keys and vocals, rounding out the three part harmonies. In June 2018 Planetary Overdrive released their self produced album Boneyard. This album widened PO’s sound, featuring Eli Hall on pedal steel guitar, Travis Stanton on saxophone, and a number of friends lending their voices with background vocals. Boneyard received more favourable reviews, with Scott Recker of LEO saying, “The songs on Boneyard are singular, explosive moments, aimed at slicing into a time and place that is easily relatable, and capable of unlocking memories.” Jake Hellman of the Never Nervous blog declared, “Southern rock is not dead. With their latest release Boneyard, Planetary Overdrive are doing their part to carry on the top down, beer chugging, guitar fueled rock of some of the great classic rock acts like Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd. No need to reinvent the wheel here, just pick up your guitar and shred.” Another line up shift occurred shortly after the release of Boneyard with the departure of Cam Thomas on drums and the arrival of the vastly accomplished and adept Jarrett Nash, picking up the sticks. Planetary Overdrive is currently in their studio working on their next album. The band plans on rocking the party for some time to come! | |

The North Delta-area foursome had a following on the Vancouver music scene in the mid- to late-1990s, but things fell apart before an album was properly recorded and released.
