Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Johnny Aladdin | John B. Alagna | Johnny Aladdin b. Nov. 27, 1914, Monessen, PA, d. Jan. 14, 1987, Hilton Head Island, SC. Johnny started playing the piano at age five. About 1930, at age 16, Johnny auditioned in Pittsburgh for the Chicago based Husk O'Hare band. He toured with them for four years as the featured pianist and arranger. He also composed many of the band's songs. He attended school on the road, returning home just long enough to finish high school. Later, he also made time to attend Chicago's American Conservatory of Music. After the O'Hare band broke up, he went to work with the Larry Funk Orchestra, out of Cleveland, OH, for three and a half years. There, he worked with music newcomers Vaughn Monroe and Helen O'Connell. Over the years he also worked with the such Bands as The Al Trace Band, about 1946-47 (where Al gave him the "Aladdin" moniker), The Gray Gordon Orchestra, and 'The Eric Langer Orchestra', about 1948-1950. While the piano was his primary instrument, he was also accomplished at: Trumpet, Trombone and Baritone horn. He studied with concert pianist, Professor Leo Ornstein of Philadelphia and he earned a music teaching degree under Ornstein's tutelage. During World War 2, he was a Master Sergeant attached to the 94th Army Ground Forces, then stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. There he organized (as the pianist) a six piece band that toured for three years, with Dick Powell as the movie-star singer, entertaining the troops. This little Army band, called "The Cracker Dust Six", won top honors in a nationwide contest being judged by none other than Benny Goodman. After the war, he formed his own New York based 17 piece Big Band known as the "Johnny Aladdin's Society Band". Among the well known clubs and hotels of the East Coast area they played were the Drake Hotel, the Aquarium, The Mt. Washington, Coney Island, and Umbriago's. When the band went on tour, it often included Chicago hotels such as the Blackstone, the La Salle, and the Ambassador. The band played a 32 week return engagement at the Bismarck Hotel. Starting in the late 1950's, with the ending of the Big Band era, he switched his focus from Big Band and Swing music to smaller trios of Piano, Upright Bass, and Drums playing dinner and dancing music (with a strong leaning toward Broadway Show tunes), at the big hotels in Nassau, Bahamas and all over South Florida. Johnny cut two L.P. records and two 45's during his career. While mainly recalled today as a band leader, he was also a fine song composer. Later, he also wrote commercial Jingles. He was a true gentlemen in every respect, and a musician who was second-to-none. Johnny was 73 when he died. He's buried at the Veterans National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Ugly Bluz | Swiss rock-jazz group. Established in 1984 as a blues duo by vocalist and blues harp player [a=Sleepy Dan] with the Czech guitarist [a=Lukáš Machata]. Initially performed mostly blues cover versions as “The Ugly Blues Connection” with guest players. Merged with the parallel jazz-rock project “Rat Tomago” in Autumn 1985, becoming “Ugly Bluz Connected” and resulting in a gradual style shift to free funk and ‘punk-jazz’. Adopted an unusual group naming scheme in early 1986: the attribute “…ected” was changed for every individual live performance or release, often being a commentary of the respective event. Among these names were: Ugly Bluz Injected, Erected, Intellected, Selected, Suspected, Infected, and many more (see ANVs). Disbanded in October 1988. Members: Daniel “Sleepy Dan” Boemle (vocals, blues harp, trombone), Lukáš Machata (guitar, vocals), Joel Kaiser (bass guitar), Roman Gondolán (drums, 1984–1985), Martin Pensa (keyboards, 1985), Christian Wolfarth (drums, 1985), Gitta Kahle (tenor saxophone, 1985–1986), Therese Allemann (alto & soprano saxophone, 1986), Andi Hug (drums, 1986–1988), Christian Brantschen (keyboards, 1986–1988), Tinu Schneider (trumpet, 1986–1988), Christian Germann (tenor saxophone, 1986–1988). | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Iliktronik Kremenel | Fathi Saleh | Getting his name from one of his greatest influences the Smooth Criminal himself, Michael Jackson, Fathi Saleh A.K.A. ILIKTRONIK KREMENEL (Pronounced: Electronic Criminal), has been classically trained in Violin & Piano ever since he was a young child. Growing up in Egypt he wasn't into mainstream music, mainly listening to House & Trance. At a very young age he started DJing at one his father’s nightclub, & at friends’ parties, school socials, & anywhere he could spread the joy of music to the rest of his peers & public. After loving David Guetta's music at a very young age, he always wanted to know how all the artists produced music, but it wasn’t until one of his favorite artists, Swedish House Mafia, posted a video of them in the studio creating one of their most recognizable & iconic tracks, (& a masterpiece of music), "One”, that he learned that the software they used was Logic Pro, that’s when he became ILIKTRONIK KREMENEL. Moving back to the place he was born, Los Angeles California, with the love of Above & Beyond's label, Anjunabeats, & the help of Jason Ross, when he first started taking his masterclass to learn the basics of creating progressive trance music, did he really start to develop his sound to what you hear today. |

| Search | Add | 4 | No:Id. | Economic constraints drove this duet to seize the philosophy of austerity; “big things surprise by their simplicity” and “manage to make things with less than you have” were two of the mottoes that Gustavo Madrid and Omar Scavone embraced at the time of bringing this new project to life. They wanted to create songs that could be easily sung, they wanted to create a music that was independent from a particular moment, from a time; they wanted to create a music that could carry on living, that could last. The group was stigmatized as being “different”, snob and only suitable for the huge minority; rated of being intoxicating but serene, of having swing and style. The lyrics in English enjoyed a warm reception and someone suggested that if you had a French friend, he will surely like this band´s music. Their sound can´t deny the influence of Tindersticks, Nick Cave, Lou Reed or Tom Waits; but true to their blueprint, NO:ID. introduces a musical scheme that´s based on the subversion of pop music, where they put together an infinite series of tones and sounds that go beyond the usual resources of this musical style. NO:ID. makes part of an innovative musical world where new technologies, traditional instruments and everyday objects are combined to create a sound palette where every tone will be appreciated for its originality. The revamp of styles and the non-conventional instruments they used to generate sound invigorates a proposal in which the duet looks for an original and innovative music. NO:ID. tries to broaden the boundaries to give more room to imagination, creativity, innovation and musical experimentation. | |

After a long hiatus, a discussion with Iconz label head, Fentz, reveals the companys plans to set the streets on fire in 2006. With great confidence, Fentz proclaims; We have discovered a hit artist. The streets cannot be lied to, says Fentz, in this game, if the streets dont feel you, theres no winning. Our new artist, SUTHUN BOY is a natural star and hes soon to be the darling of the industry and the streets. In one meeting, it becomes clear why SUTHUN BOY is the designated flagship talent of Iconz Artist & Music. He is a man of few but powerful words. With his intriguing demeanor and humble spirit, Suthun Boy is no average rapper. He comes across like a philosopher, readily expounding upon life and its many facets. A devoted husband and father, Suthun Boy speaks candidly of his love and plans for his family. He wears the hallmark of a prophet unashamedly sharing his faith like an activist ready to stand up for what he believes in regardless of the personal cost. While hes no stranger to serving beat downs and hustles on the street, Suthun Boy demonstrates a great deal of spirituality, always attributing his successes to God. When asked about his feelings towards representing a brand that some consider tainted, Suthun Boy states; I thank the Lord for blessing me with the confidence to represent myself before a label. Thats where artists go wrong. They hide behind their labels. A company cant connect you with the streets. A label can open some doors, but the way the streets feel about you is in our own hands and in Gods hands. As the name suggests, Suthun Boys debut album, GHETTO MUSIC is inspired by and created for the ghetto. In his words; this album is for my ghetto people; people raised in the projects by their grand-mama daddies not around; people that get harassed and abused by crooked cops but live just long enough to watch those cops get promoted to higher ranks and get higher pay; all those hurt but blessed people. I see myself leading a flock into a revolution thats going to heal and change every ghetto with my gifts. Many rap artists transition from music to films. Like the late Tupac Shakur, Suthun Boy is launching his acting career simultaneously with his music career. Noted for his chilling portrayal of Koke, the loyal henchman of a powerful drug lord, in the Falcon Films/Twentieth Century Fox movie entitled BLOODLINE, Suthun Boy is already a double-edged sword

| Search | Add | 4 | Bent Roads Tavern | Bent Roads Tavern | Bent Roads Tavern (BRT) is a Canadian Indie Folk collective based in Calgary, Alberta. We started as a folk-roots jam band in the early 2000s. The 1938 film, “The Adventures of Robin Hood” inspired our name. The usurped King of England returns from overseas and takes shelter at “Kent Road Tavern”. There, he learns of Robin Hood’s support of his return to the throne. The Olde English writing on the sign looks (to us) like “Bent Roads Tavern”. We like the connection of Robin Hood with social justice and equality. We think of our music as the atmosphere in a refuge on a mountain pass – safe and warm from the howling winds along life’s endlessly bending road. Drawing inspiration from Robin Hood’s theme of fairness and equality, our music offers a bold commentary on modern life. A&R Factory says, "if you could imagine how Lou Barlow's (Dinosaur Jr.) vocals would resonate over a mesmerizing contemporary folk melody, you'll get an idea of the stinging evocative potency which will permeate when you hit play,” Recording technology has changed a lot over the 18 years since we started recording. We wanted to re-record our songs for you using the latest in sound quality. Check out our re-released music "The Legend of Bent Roads Tavern.” We’re recording new music now and look forward to sharing it with you in 2021. We believe the cornerstone of Bent Roads Tavern is an enduring togetherness amongst our fans and minstrels. The music fosters sharing stories around the metaphorical fire. Step into the Tavern day or night, rain, snow, or shine. |

Derek Sea was introduced to the magical world of music by his father and began playing drums at the age of 8. It was two years before Derek began banging on the piano, and at the age of 12 was playing jazz standards with a local jazz band lead by his father. Derek has opened up and toured with some of the hottest groups in the recording industry, like Roger Troutman and Zapp, H-Town, 69 Boyz, and B-Rock and The Bizz. Because Derek Sea blends so many different kinds of music together so well- southern R&B, with a touch of Jazzy blues and hip-hop, definitely sets this artist performance apart from the others.
