Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | Peruquois | Peruquois is a composer and lyricist expressing the passionate journey of being fully human, longing for the source of love, for total awakening Originally jazz trained, later integrating native american, indian classical, middle eastern and electronic flavors to her ‘ear watering’ blend. Being constantly branded as «Vocal Goddess» Peruquois’ expresses the very feminine soul of sound. Touring the globe since 1997 she is a light shining the way home. Peruquois is the creator of such deep practices as «Vocal Yoga» and «Vocal Tantra» that became a foundation for her potent workshops. Australian born from a musical family, Peruquois originally trained in Jazz at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. After being deeply involved with the jazz scene in Sydney in the early 90 'she left jazz to explore cultural music traditions that carried the knowledge of healing with the voice . She went through an 11 year apprenticeship to Native American Elder John Twobirds in New Mexico. In more recent years she has trained with Hindustani classical vocalist Sunanda Sharma and Ritesh Mishra in Delhi India.

A masterly studio animal, a skilled and experienced DJ always ready to put out some music whether is through his energized Dj Sets, Live Jams or releases in his own but not only, Nebulaee Feeds organicity to the machines, and the machines respond. They respond in a roving and rebellious manner, an innocuous and peculiar register that is easily spotted in the first bars of each song he composes and each record he chooses. DJ since 2001, he imprints his petulance, charisma, and avant-garde taste into his musical selection, which extends to the vast records he produces, on labels of his authorship FLMB vinyl only, Souled black digital and in releases on labels such as Purism from Italian Deep house maestro Enrico Mantini, La Vie En Rose from Terrence :Terry:, home/made, among others, recently made a live act with the Bulgarian Techno Legend KiNK. Search | Add | 6 | Christian Woodyatt | Christian Woodyatt | [a=Christian Woodyatt]'s induction into clubland began in Nottingham way back in the late eighties as early US house consumed the British scene. Having spent many a sweat night on the dancefloor at Nottingham’s Garage Club, educated by the soundtrack of the ubiquitous Graeme Park, he was caught by the bug and slowly began nurturing his own style and skills. By 1991, Christian had appeared at several local underground soirées, which brought him to the attention of one James Baillie, the then head honcho of the now legendary “Venus” club. Soon after, his he was invited to take the helm as the resident for its infamous Saturday nights. What started out as simply a regular slot for playing his slick mix of US house and Balearic gems, rapidly developed into one of the Midlands’ seminal nights out. He often found himself playing alongside some of the International figureheads of the scene at that time; rubbing shoulders with the cream of the world’s DJs. Christian’s talents didn’t go unnoticed; in addition to the growing demand for guest appearances, he was receiving good press from various lifestyle bibles of the time – named as ‘one to watch’ by Mixmag and listed on the ‘hot or not barometer’ of The Face magazine “..You may not have heard of him yet but you will, a Balearic DJ who can mix…” During 1993 Christian’s career soared and, following a ‘DJ of the month’ article in i-D magazine, he was invited to appear on the magazine’s World Tour playing alongside Tony Humphries, a long time hero of his – this denoted a significant rise in his profile and secured his credentials. Over the ensuing years he could be found playing at pretty much every major club and event throughout the UK and overseas – a personal highlight being regular appearances at the world renowned Southport Weekender. What followed was an offer that, in retrospect, truly established him as a key player in the UK house and garage scene; a monthly residency at the Ministry of Sound. During this period, Christian was lucky enough to play alongside such luminaries as CJ Macintosh, Dave Lee, David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and, his early inspiration, Graeme Park. In the mid nineties Christian made the inevitable move into production teaming up with [a=Chris Scott] of [a=Happy Clappers] fame to release the [r=555901]. Once again, he caught the bug and continued to pursue his production aspirations, a few years later landing a deal with Virgin Records – releasing [r=125233] under the guise of [a=Nu Soulboy]. Various remix projects followed, most notably the Nu Soulboy Mix of [r=171355] on Todd Terry’s [l=Sound Design] imprint label and Cindy Mizelle’s "Shine on Me", through A&R Records. This brings us to the present day – although Christian still makes infrequent forays into the DJing arena, his main area of focus is production. More recently he used his own small independent label [l=Gorgeous Brown] as a vehicle for releasing his own work. However, the unexpected demise of the distribution company saw this come to a premature end. Having taken a step back from the scene to focus on his personal goals, Christian has now returned; stronger than ever and determined to bring his music once more to the fore. His new digital label imprint ‘Sensoul Records’ is due to launch Summer ’09. |

Search | Add | 6 | Stud Count | Counting such influences as Wipers, Garbage, and Husker Dü, Stud Count is a new, fashion-forward alternative punk band based in Philadelphia. The lineup features familiar faces - the fresh endeavor is composed of current/former members of Drill Sergeant, The Dividing Line, Academy Order, Fluoride, Leashes, and Fixation. Combining an abrasive post-punk edge with a melodic undercurrent beneath it all, Stud Count features drummer Bret Hart, bassist Jake Beaver, vocalist Norelle Green, Max D’ambra and Matthew Green on guitars. The group found its beginnings at the tail end of 2019, hanging out in a West Philly apartment. Founding member Matthew Green wrote a demo’s-worth of ‘77 style punk songs, seeking to combine the trademark hook-laden proto-punk sound of bands like Buzzcocks and The Undertones with the edge of modern hardcore.
