Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Thildo Gama | Thildo dos Santos Gama | Thildo Gama (Salvador, June 5, 1945 - Salvador, December 8, 2011) was a Brazilian musician, artist, teacher and auditor. He was the first guitarist of [a=Raul Seixas] and one of the pioneers of the Bahian rock. In addition to being a musician, he was also a fiscal auditor of the Bahia State Treasury Department, a university professor and, more recently, became a clown, creating the characters "Zig Zig Zaa" and "Tô de Boa". Thildo began playing with his friend Raul in his teens and were two of the first rockers of Salvador, still in the 1950s. In 1962, they formed the group Relâmpagos Do Rock, along with Enelmar Chagas. The band quickly became popular in Salvador. Shortly thereafter, Chagas leaves the group and is replaced by Thildo's brother, Délcio Gama. Still in 1962, Os Relâmpagos Do Rock appear on TV Itapoan. The recording of this presentation is in the album O Baú Do Raul (1992). According to the magazine A Bahia, the band Os Relâmpagos Do Rock was the best set of rock of all the state. With the success, the group grew and was renamed The Panthers, now counting with [a=Mariano Lanat], [a=Carleba] and Carlô (neighbor of Raul, who stayed in the band until 1964), besides Raul Seixas and Thildo. Thildo left the group in 1967, not being present in Raul Seixas' first album, "Raulzito E Os Panteras", in 1967. He also participated in other bands such as Thildo E Seu Bossas E Os Jovens, and released the compact Thildo Gama E Os Terríveis by the Astor, in 1967. This compact had on side A, the song 'Bonequinha', version of Waldir Serrão for 'Pretty Woman', of [a=Roy Orbison]; On the B side there was 'Você É Inspiração' (Jeff Cezar and Thildo Gama), both songs came with the name surf, considered the first recording of a Bahian artist to designate his production within the subgenre surf music. In the 80's Thildo also participated in a group folkloric group from Bahia, making presentations in Italy and Chile. Thildo was always present in the musical scene of Salvador: he played in bands, performed several shows and recorded independent albums. In 2002, together with the auditor also fiscal Francisco Benjamin, formed the pair Beja & Gama that touched in dancing shows. In 2009, Gama performed at the Virada Cultural de São Paulo with Os Panteras, at which time they played the first Seixas album in its entirety. He died of a brain cancer, is buried in the Bosque da Paz cemetery in Salvador. |

Felicidades Banda Internacional Wiracocha. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Ill Crew Universal | Ill Crew Universal | Ill Crew Universal is a Worldwide Hip-Hop organization and entertainment company dedicated to the preservation, activism, empowerment, balance and unity of Hip-Hop culture expressed in all of its elements. ICU is a service to the Hip-Hop community, whose goal is to educate and network artists, activists, musicians and thinkers so as to enrich the Hip-Hop community by promoting positivity, humility, understanding, resourcefulness, interdependence, consciousness and progressive change in society. Ill Crew Universal (ICU) was the largest Hip-Hop organization in the world, with more than 50,000 members worldwide. ICU gained the respect of the Hip-Hop nation and had both the attention of the mainstream media (MTV, Billboard, Rap Sheet, The Source, Vibe, etc) and many recognized Hip-Hop artists of the time, including Xzibit, Gang Starr, X-Clan, The Alkaholiks, Living Legends, Jurassic 5, Black Eyed Peas, A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, UMC's, Paris, Hieroglyphics, The Coup, to name a few. ICU began its journey in the Hip-Hop world in 1995. By the summer of 1996, ICU had the leading Hip-Hop website on the Internet and gained worldwide notoriety. In fact, ICU helped to create the emergence of Hip-Hop on the Internet through its members. By the year 1999, ICU had over 50,000 members and had released 7 compilations of ICU artist's material. The growth of ICU exceeded the expectations of ICU leadership. By the forth quarter of 1999, ICU closed its doors to new members. Due to excessively rapid growth and success of ICU, we felt it was in the best interest of the organization, and the public at large, to go on an indefinite hiatus until we could bring forth our vision when the time called for it. That time is now! ICU is announcing our return to the Hip-Hop world. ICU leadership spent the past several years focusing on independent projects, while keeping a low profile in regards to the organization. We have reorganized our effort, added exceptional talent to ICU leadership, and are prepared to take on the Hip-Hop world once again! |

Eventually it became known as "Banda Papá", because multiple other bands sprung from its original lineups. The group originated in the small settlement of Sunicancha, which has just over 800 inhabitants, but more than 9 different brass bands. The group's style is considered a fusion of the style of the Yauya district and the typical saxophone led arrangements of the Mantaro Valley. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Art Telepaths | George Scarlatos was the bass player and –mainly– the composer of nearly every song by Magic De Spell during the ’80s. During the summer of 2011, when listening to an old cassette of Magic De Spell supporting “The Fall” at their 1982 concert in Sporting stadium, searching for the track “Crime” for Geheimnis Records’ 2nd release (Magic De Spell – Nightmare / 30th anniversary edition), he found 4 songs on the back side, rough recordings with an acoustic guitar. One of them was “Chains Of Love”, which was later included on “Kiss The Mirror” LP. The rest (Drag You Down, Lies, Tue Ma Cervelle) remained forgotten in a drawer. These 3 songs along with one more (not recorded, but always kept alive on George’s mind, titled “Heaven Up There”) were dropped, because they were written during a difficult period for Magic De Spell, their transition from punk to dark electronic/new wave sound. Two of these were composed in March 1982, when the old era was fading away, the other two after two months. But, for different reasons other songs were selected, during the preparation of Magic De Spell’s first full length album “A Body In A Snare”. During the summer and autumn of 2012, George Scarlatos materializing the Art Telepaths project, accomplished a great endeavor: he managed to gather some friends and colleagues from the 80’s new wave era to record these 4 songs, people who worked with Magic De Spell at the band's first steps and others who had shared the same rehearsal studios, dreams and hopes at the time. Thanasis Scarlatos (Magic De Spell / keyboards, synths) and Theodore Vlahakis (Magic De Spell / drums), Yannis Drenoyannis (Magic De Spell, Anti-Troppau Council, Yeah! / guitars), Pan Thistle (Takis) (Partenogenesis, Forward Music Quintet / vocals) and Vassilis Salapatas (Not 2 Without 3 / vocals) and, last but not least, Costas Mastoris (Metro Decay / synths). The sound engineer was the most experienced one with the sound of the '80s, Chris ‘Snake’ Manolitsis. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | The Stragglyrs | Established 2001. Original songs and live performances featuring harmony vocals and rootsy, guitar-driven folk-rock and country rock have been the hallmark of the Stragglyrs since the South Bay band formed in late 2000. Members are Larry Ingenthron of Fremont on 6- and 12-string acoustic rhythm and lead guitar and vocals; Bill Mishler of San Jose on drums, harmonica and vocals; Chris Purdum of Sunnyvale on bass, rhythm guitar, flute and vocals; and Autumn Rose of Milpitas on banjo and vocals. The band has an ensemble approach with all members writing and singing in two-to-four-part harmony. The Stragglyrs have released seven albums (including the critically acclaimed "Country Project" in 2011) featuring 101 original songs. They have sold thousands of CDs and have played hundreds of live shows. | |
| Search | Add | 6 | Dél-Alföldi Saxophone Ensemble | The ensemble was formed by three young sax-players in 1992, all born and, by and large, still living in the Southern and South-Eastern end of the Great Hungarian Plains. In fact they derive their name from the region of their birth. ("Dél-alföldi" means "of the Southern Plains"). Their common ground is not just a matter of geography, although geography matters too because the corner of Hungary they come from practically borders on the Balkans and that is also something that you can hear in their music. The present personnel crystallized in 1997. Their repertoire includes folk arrangements, traditional pieces, and jazzy, almost danceable compositions with their roots in the rhythmic world of Hungarian and Eastern European folk music and jazz. Their musical choices are illustrated by their instruments too: the bag pipe, the hit gardon (a percussion instrument resembling the shape of a cello), traditional recorders, and the "körtemuzsika" (a special Hungarian flute) are in their arsenal just as well as a unique vocal effect called tuva singing. In the singular compositional concepts of the three saxophonists just as in the free parts one can point out highly individual ideas. However, the influence of Mihály Dresch’s and György Szabados’ music on their approach is undeniable. Members of the band: Béla Ágoston - vocal/saxophone/clarinet Róbert Benkő - double bass Béla Pöcök Burány - saxophon Tamás Geröly - drums Balázs Dongó Szokolay - saxophon/flute/clarinet Discography: 1997. Dél-alföldi Szaxofonegyüttes: Esthajnal 1999. Dél-alföldi Szaxofonegyüttes: Kalamona 2004. Dél-alföldi Szaxofonegyüttes: Tótágas | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Фиолетовый Холст | Hard Rock Band from Samara, Russia. | |

Whether it's events, clubs or radio shows, Sal V is known for flawless mixing and eclectic music styles, always at the top of his game knowing what to play and when to play it. Originally from Oxnard, California, his love for music began as a child, watching and learning from local 805 DJs. It wasn't long before he bought his first pair of Technics 1200's, built a record library and went straight to work under the moniker DJ Maclon. Working with numerous promoters, he toured for years sharing the stage with superstar DJ's and guest mixing on several radio stations throughout California. Not satisfied with just spinning other people's tracks, he took the next step venturing into production under the new stage name Sal V. His first productions were picked up by local labels Hardstep Records and Fussion Groove, then licensed on several DJ mixed compilation CD's. In the following years he continued producing and remixing, releasing tracks under his own label Full Effect Recordings. In 2006, Sal V joined KRAJ 100.9 The HEAT FM as Mixshow Coordinator, DJ and Producer of several shows including his own project: The Launch Mixshow. Sponsored by Native Instruments' Traktor Scratch, the show featured the best in Electronic Dance Music with Sal V as Host, DJ and Producer along with special guest DJs from around the globe. This recent surge in House Music has Sal V hard at work in the studio along with co-producer Jay Wes on new productions and back out on stage for clubs and events. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Deerborn | Deerborn is a new project on the danish music scene exploring the lines between folk rock and alt. country. The band consists of members from Odense and Copenhagen. With a background in bands like Rock Hard Power Spray and Ave, it is clear that we deal with musicians who have something on their minds and they know what it takes to get it through to the audience. Their sound leans towards old favourites like Neil Young, Pearl Jam and My Morning Jacket. With great melody pieces from both guitar, moog and violin they embrace a playful and very exciting universe all wrapped up a very distinct sound. The energy that shines through the band’s live concerts is rather unique and has a certain way of drawing in the listeners and taking them on a journey through the whole spectre of emotions. The debut album will be released February 19th, 2016. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Gavin Watson | Gavin Watson was born in London in 1965 and grew up on a council estate in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. He bought a Hanimex camera from Woolworths in his early teens and began to take photographs. Upon leaving school at the age of sixteen, Watson moved back to London and became a darkroom assistant at Camera Press. He continued to photograph his younger brother [a=Neville Watson] and their group of skinhead friends in High Wycombe. The ‘Wycombe Skins’ were part of the working-class skinhead subculture brought together by a love of ska music and fashion. Although skinhead style had become associated with the right-wing extremism of political groups like the National Front in the 1970s, Watson’s photographs document a time and place where the subculture was racially mixed and inclusive. His photographs were published in the books Skins (1994) and Skins and Punks (2008), and the director Shane Meadows cited them as an inspiration for his film This is England (2006). In 2011 and 2012 Watson photographed campaigns for Dr Martens and began a project with the singer Plan B. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Group Of Individuals | Group of Individuals was an innovative Chicago punk band from 1984 to approximately 1994. The band was well recognized by contemporaries for their tuneful songcraft, unapologetic social and humanitarian stances, and bludgeoning (but highly musical) delivery. Although their live exposure was purely regional, their material was passed liberally around a burgeoning global indie scene. An unsanctioned internet reference refers to them as "melodic anarcho '77 punk rock with a real good singer." Hurricane Party Instead Of A Magazine: All Music Intrendent International Limited Potential Save The Dead Spontaneous Combustion / Immense Decay The Anatomy Of A Revolution The Blind Armadillo War Between The States We Can Change The World We Did It Ourselves Yet Another Compilation History: Group Of Individuals was spearheaded and formed in 1984 by Mike Lazuka with bandmates Mark McClean and Andy Eringis. Lazuka, who had honed his skills bashing out various rock covers in years prior, crafted the new group as a vehicle for his eclectic musical tastes, unrelenting sociopolitical passions, and his ever-evolving original pop-punk canon. Having quickly recorded his first two songs under the new moniker, he spent his high school prom night traveling throughout Chicagoland distributing and promoting the now-infamous debut single "Destroyer Of Fun / The $ellout" to every indie-friendly radio station that would open their door. The brilliant WNUR was among Lazuka's targets that exciting evening. Lazuka was a vehement evangelist of the D-I-Y movement, often generously donating material to anyone supportive enough that would also benefit from a fattened catalog. As the first single picked up steam within his distribution channel, Lazuka began to finalize the first working live band to support his efforts. Although Lazuka performed all the drumming on all studio recordings, Ubaldo Ayala manned the buckets for live shows. Eringis had moved on to other commitments, and so the versatile Joe Garcia joined as permanent bassist. Using brand-spanking new recordings "Being Bored" and "Fashion Fools", the band was selected to appear on the 1985 Certain Death-led compilation Dial-a-Trance. A performance at the compilation's release party cemented a reputation as well as helpful association with pals in the genre. Regional live work began in earnest, as did progress on new songs and new studio demos. Mike's standard stage uniform, consisting of baggy camo and a Buckwheat-adorned t-shirt, was always a highlight. To mark the centennial anniversary of the 1886 Chicago Haymarket Riot, Lazuka wrote, recorded, and released the commemorative 1986 single "World Civil War / Police Beat" on his newly-branded Universal Satirical Association label. During this same period, Eringis temporarily returned on bass to sub for the absent Garcia, and Brian St. Clair (Rights of the Accused, Triple Fast Action, Local H) took over the drum stool for the unavailable Ayala. The related demonstrations and shows were memorable for their sense of community and great music vibe. Toward the late 1980's, the band had amassed enough road-tested original material and studio recordings to begin planning a full-length release. But with factions of the hardcore punk scene quieting somewhat, and faux-metallic AquaNet-drenched shemales sprawled across most music charts, Lazuka blasted his next generational wake-up call to herald the end of the "me" decade with the tuneful "Children Are The Future" (coupled with the spastic "Being Bored") 7" release through Underdog Records. The band's roster continued to evolve; Eringis had subbed for McClean on guitar, John Potwora came aboard as drummer, and Mike Grist took over for Joe Garcia as bassist. From 1987-1990, the Group printed a newsletter and free ad paper, also called Universal Satirical Association, for the independent music scene. There was no charge for either the issues or the ads themselves. The issues were released sporadically and ranged from 10-20 pages each. Distribution was largely through those running ads and at indie-friendly stores and venues. Around this same time, the band formed a relationship with Dan Lavorini's Chicago Music Coalition, whose early Sunday morning WLS-FM radio broadcast showcased Chicagoland indie talent. Through it, Group of Individuals was presented with two important promotional opportunities: a "public" recording session presided over by panelists & indie intelligentsia, and a professionally-shot series of music videos. The music videos were aired on local TV, with "Police Beat" being deemed "offensive" and banned by the television station. At the outset, Lavorini's vision for a more commercially accessible Group of Individuals wasn't shared by Lazuka, nor did it ever truly play out. Indie cred intact, they stuck to their proverbial guns. During the early 1990's, Lazuka finally assembled, tweaked, and mastered all previous Group of Individuals recordings to issue the full-length CD "Peace Off!". By then, most of the band's activity had ceased due to garden-variety adult logistics and lifestyles. And while never having officially "broken up", members have amicably all gone their separate ways. | |

Born in Bhavnagar on 27th December 1916, he had his early training in music from the Late Pt. Shankarrao Vyas, Pt. Narayan Moreshwar Khare and Late Pandit Omkarnath Thakur of Gwalior Gharana. Later, being attracted by the Kirana style of Khansaheb Abdul Karim Khan, he became a devout disciple of Pandit Balkrishnabua Kapileshwari, a direct disciple of the Late Khansaheb Abdul Karim Khan. Possessing a rich sonorous voice with tremendous depth of feeling and understanding of the Ragas, his devotion and dedication and his purity of style in the development of the Raga, he participated in many a concerts and attained fame all over India. Unfortunately, he died at the young age of 47 years on 3rd January 1964, leaving a void in the music world. Some of his famous disciples are Pandit Vinayak Vora (Vocal and Taar-Shehnai), Arun Sewak and Dakshesh Dhruv. Padma Vibhushan Pandit Ravi Shankar, the world- renowned exponent of Indian Classical Music, has honoured Yeshwantrai by describing him as a great Sadhak.” |
