Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Far From Grace | FFG was an American hardcore band with metallic influences and a heavier edge. They were from Pittsfield, Massachusetts and were active roughly between 1997 and 1998 with a brief regrouping in 2000. Beginning under the names Steadfast and Grievance, they settled on Far From Grace and put out their first demo in 1998. The band changed their name to In Spite Of (using the name of Wil and Mike's old metal band from Florida). They built their reputation as In Spite Of before drifting apart in 1998 with Jerry and George going on to All Kill All and True Blood and Wil and Mike going on to Dropfaith and On Deaf Ears. The band reformed briefly in 2000 as Far From Grace and recorded a second demo before disappearing for good. The band recorded a pair of demo's before changing their name and performing as In Spite Of. In Spite Of re-released the songs from the first demo on cassette tape with new artwork as [r15730119]. In September of 2022, A single was released off the first demo by [l1532540] to promote an announced / upcoming reunion show. Featured future founding members of [a7797857] and Jerry Colvin, founder and operator of Patient Zero Records. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Soberanía Personal | Hardcore punk band from Buenos Aires, Argentina Soberanía Personal ("Personal Sovereignty") got not only their name from a line in a classic La Polla Records song but also continued the musical direction of the Spanish band, as it can be seen in their own compositions and in the two covers of their mentors' tunes which appeared in their only release. The band formed in Buenos Aires in 1987 from the ashes of less known punk bands such as Licor de Semen with the line up of Johanna (vocals), Jóse Luis (guitar), Oscar (bass) and Mariano (drums). In 1988 they released the Benditos sean muñecos que pegan cassette in a limited edition of 200 copies but seemed to split up and disappear soon afterwards. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Ill Crew Universal | Ill Crew Universal | Ill Crew Universal is a Worldwide Hip-Hop organization and entertainment company dedicated to the preservation, activism, empowerment, balance and unity of Hip-Hop culture expressed in all of its elements. ICU is a service to the Hip-Hop community, whose goal is to educate and network artists, activists, musicians and thinkers so as to enrich the Hip-Hop community by promoting positivity, humility, understanding, resourcefulness, interdependence, consciousness and progressive change in society. Ill Crew Universal (ICU) was the largest Hip-Hop organization in the world, with more than 50,000 members worldwide. ICU gained the respect of the Hip-Hop nation and had both the attention of the mainstream media (MTV, Billboard, Rap Sheet, The Source, Vibe, etc) and many recognized Hip-Hop artists of the time, including Xzibit, Gang Starr, X-Clan, The Alkaholiks, Living Legends, Jurassic 5, Black Eyed Peas, A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, UMC's, Paris, Hieroglyphics, The Coup, to name a few. ICU began its journey in the Hip-Hop world in 1995. By the summer of 1996, ICU had the leading Hip-Hop website on the Internet and gained worldwide notoriety. In fact, ICU helped to create the emergence of Hip-Hop on the Internet through its members. By the year 1999, ICU had over 50,000 members and had released 7 compilations of ICU artist's material. The growth of ICU exceeded the expectations of ICU leadership. By the forth quarter of 1999, ICU closed its doors to new members. Due to excessively rapid growth and success of ICU, we felt it was in the best interest of the organization, and the public at large, to go on an indefinite hiatus until we could bring forth our vision when the time called for it. That time is now! ICU is announcing our return to the Hip-Hop world. ICU leadership spent the past several years focusing on independent projects, while keeping a low profile in regards to the organization. We have reorganized our effort, added exceptional talent to ICU leadership, and are prepared to take on the Hip-Hop world once again! |

Then guitarist and singer in "Scarlet Heels", a rock band from Stuttgart, who mixed their own songs with covers and in 1987 published a homage to the first victories of tennis legend Steffi Graf (Steffi's Rap). In 1989 he was a founding member of "Gonzo - Schwabenrock from Stuttgart". With this band he released 5 albums and a DVD from the 20th anniversary of the band's 23-year history. First attention came through TV appearances with Gonzo on the SWR show "Mundart & Musik" with Christina Reichert and Uwe Hübner at the beginning of the 90s and the SWR-Landesschau, which was broadcast nationwide. Later through joint appearances with the Swabian rock legends Alexander Köberlein and Wolle Kriwanek (IGA Stuttgart 1993, live broadcast on Radio 7 with around 100,000 listeners on the radio and around 2,500 viewers live on the Killesberg open-air stage). Last but not least, as a band member of Gonzo, he was part of the exhibition and the accompanying volume "Swabian Pictures - For the Construction of a Regional Character" of the Ludwig Uhland Institute for Empirical Cultural Studies at the University of Tübingen. After leaving Gonzo, he founded the Swabian rock theater formation "Odeng" with other colleagues from the local music scene in the greater Stuttgart area. Here, own songs in Swabian dialect were combined with a criminalistic stage play in dialect, in which traditional Swabian dishes combined with a dialect rock theater were presented as a "full Swabian event" for the first time. In 2014 he took first place in the audience voting at the TROLLINGER SONG CONTEST of the wine cooperative in the Stuttgart area with ODENG and the song "Trollinger, guader Wei für guade Leut" ("Trollinger, good wine for good people"). In addition to his work as a musician and independent management consultant (M&A consultant), he appeared from time to time in supporting roles in various TV formats from 2011 onwards. Most recently in 2019 as a gardener in the ZDF series SOKO-Stuttgart in german television. Petersen is married and lives in Stuttgart. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Art Telepaths | George Scarlatos was the bass player and –mainly– the composer of nearly every song by Magic De Spell during the ’80s. During the summer of 2011, when listening to an old cassette of Magic De Spell supporting “The Fall” at their 1982 concert in Sporting stadium, searching for the track “Crime” for Geheimnis Records’ 2nd release (Magic De Spell – Nightmare / 30th anniversary edition), he found 4 songs on the back side, rough recordings with an acoustic guitar. One of them was “Chains Of Love”, which was later included on “Kiss The Mirror” LP. The rest (Drag You Down, Lies, Tue Ma Cervelle) remained forgotten in a drawer. These 3 songs along with one more (not recorded, but always kept alive on George’s mind, titled “Heaven Up There”) were dropped, because they were written during a difficult period for Magic De Spell, their transition from punk to dark electronic/new wave sound. Two of these were composed in March 1982, when the old era was fading away, the other two after two months. But, for different reasons other songs were selected, during the preparation of Magic De Spell’s first full length album “A Body In A Snare”. During the summer and autumn of 2012, George Scarlatos materializing the Art Telepaths project, accomplished a great endeavor: he managed to gather some friends and colleagues from the 80’s new wave era to record these 4 songs, people who worked with Magic De Spell at the band's first steps and others who had shared the same rehearsal studios, dreams and hopes at the time. Thanasis Scarlatos (Magic De Spell / keyboards, synths) and Theodore Vlahakis (Magic De Spell / drums), Yannis Drenoyannis (Magic De Spell, Anti-Troppau Council, Yeah! / guitars), Pan Thistle (Takis) (Partenogenesis, Forward Music Quintet / vocals) and Vassilis Salapatas (Not 2 Without 3 / vocals) and, last but not least, Costas Mastoris (Metro Decay / synths). The sound engineer was the most experienced one with the sound of the '80s, Chris ‘Snake’ Manolitsis. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Tina Poli-Randaccio | (b nr Ferrara, 13 April 1879; d Milan, 1 Feb 1956). Italian soprano. She studied in Pesaro and made her début in 1902 at Bergamo in Un ballo in maschera. She travelled widely in Italy, Spain, Hungary and South America, mostly in lyric-dramatic and verismo roles. Admiring her Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana, Pietro Mascagni engaged her in 1908 to sing the heroine of his Amica in an Italian tour. In 1910, as Brünnhilde in Siegfried, she made her début at La Scala, where she also appeared in the theatre's first presentation of La fanciulla del West. Other notable roles were Aida, La Gioconda and the heroine of Pietro Mascagni's Parisina. In her only season at Covent Garden (1920) she sang Tosca, a performance praised for emotional force but criticized for unevenness. Her career lasted until 1934 with an appearance as Turandot at Bologna. Recordings show a powerful voice, capable of delicacy but inclined to shrillness at the top and having the fast vibrato characteristic of Italian sopranos of the period. She was clearly an imaginative artist, sensitive to nuance and warm in feeling. From The Grove Book of Opera Singers in Oxford Reference. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Grand Western | Adam and Simon met at a Tortoise gig at the end of the 90's and formed the band Geyser (with Andy Prestige from Cortizone and Al Murray sharing the drum stool). In 1999 Kirsten France started to guest on vocals for recording (Simon and Kirsten grew up together in Southport). The demos featuring Kirsten secured a publishing deal with Chrysalis and by the end of the year she was lead vocalist for the band. With the name now changed to Grand Western, Rob Havis (from Jetboy) joined on drums. At the start of 2000 the band released their first limited edition single, Just Whistle, becoming Mark and Lard's single of the week on Radio One. Meanwhile, Xfm added the B-side, Drive Your Car, to their A-list. Writing and recording a new album's worth of material the band also found time during 2000 to recruit a new manager, Steve Lowes from Retaliate First (who also manages Ian Brown), and a keyboard player, Jane Watkins. Jane's first gig was at the Reading Festival in August, playing to nearly 1,000 festival-goers. The band also played at the Carling festival in Leeds and the Mersea Island festival (with Dodgy) in late summer. In 2000, Grand Western also wrote and performed the music for Al Murray's TV vehicle Time, Gentlemen, Please. They were voted a Top 10 act by NME at In The City in Manchester in late September (reviewed as the 'band most likely to have a massive hit'). Firm favourites of the Barfly Club, Grand Western ended the year with their first live webcast for Channel Fly, filmed upstairs at the Monarch. During 2001 they toured extensively throughout England and finished recording two singles, Radio Caroline and Complicated, intended for release in the summer of 2001. | |

Felicidades Banda Internacional Wiracocha. | |

Later, he sang in Breslau and Hamburg. Goritz then received a contract with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, where he performed in 25 operas (mostly German, 1 Italian) between 1903 and 1917, including the leading Wagnerian baritone roles. His greatest success was as Beckmesser in Wagner's "Meistersinger." When the United States joined World War I, the opera stopped performing its German repertory. Goritz was forced to resign, not least because of a rumor that he had sung a parodic song on the sinking of the RMS "Lusitania" at a private party on New Year's Eve 1916. He remained, however, in the United States. In 1919, after the war had ended, Goritz founded the Star Opera Company. The company tried to perform at the Lexington Opera House in German, but a riot on opening night and protests by the American Legion forced it to disband. In 1920 Goritz returned to Hamburg, where he continued to sing at the State Opera House. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Peruquois | Peruquois is a composer and lyricist expressing the passionate journey of being fully human, longing for the source of love, for total awakening Originally jazz trained, later integrating native american, indian classical, middle eastern and electronic flavors to her ‘ear watering’ blend. Being constantly branded as «Vocal Goddess» Peruquois’ expresses the very feminine soul of sound. Touring the globe since 1997 she is a light shining the way home. Peruquois is the creator of such deep practices as «Vocal Yoga» and «Vocal Tantra» that became a foundation for her potent workshops. Australian born from a musical family, Peruquois originally trained in Jazz at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. After being deeply involved with the jazz scene in Sydney in the early 90 'she left jazz to explore cultural music traditions that carried the knowledge of healing with the voice . She went through an 11 year apprenticeship to Native American Elder John Twobirds in New Mexico. In more recent years she has trained with Hindustani classical vocalist Sunanda Sharma and Ritesh Mishra in Delhi India. | |
