Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | The Bampots | [a=The Bampots] were a sister teenage powerpop / new wave group from Wichita, Kansas. They released an album in 1982 of songs written by several other musicians from the Wichita area, including [a=Conrad Stolze] of the band [a=Dogs?]. Their Joan Jett-look and Kim Fowley cover songs no doubt trying to follow the success of The Runaways. The album never did anything, but they did play some clubs in Los Angeles.

Search | Add | 2 | Mr. Voice | Kurt Haid | Mr. Voice - alias Kurt Haid - makes the stage shake with his music and the audience sweats: He was the first rock musician ever to make a guest appearance at the completely sold-out Graz Opera and over 50,000 spectators followed his unique voice to Vienna's Danube Island. But no matter how big or small the stage is, Mr. Voice always lets the sow out and inspires his audience with a top performance - simply the best live at the moment! Sweat breakout and goose bumps guaranteed. |

Knud Hegermann-Lindencrone and his assistant, engineer [a1359104], made sound recordings from the Copenhagen theater scenes from the years 1948-1988. In total, 1,700 hours of performances from The Royal Danish Theatre ([l370487]) and 1,000 hours of performances from the private theaters in Copenhagen have been preserved, spread over 3,300 reel-to-reel tapes. In 1990, the tape collection was handed over to The Royal Danish Theatre and placed at The Royal Library ([l1785820]). All the tapes have been digitised. Several recordings have previously been released on LP. From 1998 CDs are released first on [l8030] and then on [l139322]. Knud Hegermann-Lindencrone lived an aristocratic existence without bourgeois occupation. His uncle was Cai Hegermann-Lindencrone, who in the early 1940s was director of The Royal Danish Theatre. Furthermore, as one of Chamberlain Berling's descendants, Knud Hegermann-Lindencrone represented the family on the board of the newspaper Berlingske Tidende.

Search | Add | 2 | The Music Buddies | Erik: bass guitar TJ: guitar, vocals Derek: drums Taken from their release page: "Nobody can remember the exact origin but we think the band name came from a relative of Erik’s, who said it as a quaint diminutive as he left for practice with a previous band—“Oh, are you off to practice with your music buddies?” The three of us (Erik, TJ, and I) were living in a group house in Kalamazoo, between bands and dutifully enrolled at the local college, when he shared that anecdote. Guffaws were had. When we learned that TJ had a notebook full of lyrics devoted to how various scenesters had done him right and/or very wrong, it seemed a bygone conclusion: we had a name, we had a unified purpose, we had instruments and a basement and post-adolescent malaise and thus, we had a band. The Music Buddies was born. We were around from late fall of 1996 into the spring of 1997. We practiced a handful of times, usually late evening affairs that felt a lot like I’d imagine my dad’s Thursday night bowling league felt. We maybe played two shows—one a vegan potluck, the other at the legendary Comet Cafe. Somehow we were the subject of an intense, one-sided label bidding war that cooled only because we wouldn’t cede to Charles’ demands that we change our name to “Bacne.” We also recorded a demo with Ian, which he kindly helped us to mix in preparation for the either digital or lathe cut version you might be listening to right now."

Search | Add | 2 | The Insane Slave | The Insane Slave is a rock band from Oporto city (Portugal) formed in 2008. Characterized by an original sound and a “rockipolar” personality, they’re inspired by an entire musical universe and settle their vital pillars on the “rock n'rollesque” philosophy. After hitting the road in 2010 setting foot on several stages and winning a considerable number of garage band contests, in 2011 they released their first record, "The Night Rider EP", which earned them appreciable reviews by the national and international press, as well as a tour from North to South of the country, and the first incursion beyond borders, in the cities of London and Northampton in England. February 2018 marks the return of The Insane Slave with the release of their first "Long Play". The homonymous album recorded in the studios of Raising Legends and produced by André Matos, was conceived with a conceptual theme, where along the 10 tracks that compose the album the story of Jack (the insane slave) uncurls as if it were a book. The Insane Slave are: Freddie on Drums, André on Bass, Alex on Guitar and César on Guitar and Voice.

Search | Add | 2 | Chelsea O'Donnell | O'Donnell began playing around Western New York in 2013, initially calling herself Wolf and eventually forming a band. After releasing one EP, the group went through a few different line-ups and, in time, changed their name to Stress Dolls. In the Spring of 2016 the band recorded a self-titled EP at GCR Audio and released the recording later that same year. Over the next several months they performed in Buffalo as well as neighboring cities and towns, and opened shows for touring acts such as Shonen Knife, We Are Scientists, and USS. Due to differing pursuits the band split in early 2017, but O'Donnell decided to keep playing under the name Stress Dolls. She made a move to Nashville, TN but wasn't even there a year before chronic health issues she had been struggling with - Crohn's disease and gastroparesis- sent her to the hospital to undergo a feeding tube procedure. Following the surgery she moved back to Buffalo, and after a period of recovery, began writing, performing, and recording again. Largely due to the tentative nature of her health, O'Donnell established Stress Dolls as a solo act in order to decrease stress and go at her own pace. From 2019 to 2021 O'Donnell independently recorded and released new music with a few different collaborators, including Charles Dusel (Lonestar Sailing), Jay Milton (The Demos), and Marc Hunt. In early 2022 she was invited to work with producer Jim Wirt (Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate, Incubus) at Superior Sound Studios in Cleveland, OH. After recording several songs together, including her upcoming single, "Body," she was offered a record deal with Sun Pedal Recordings. Currently, Stress Dolls takes on several forms live: solo with O'Donnell and her acoustic guitar; as a duo when joined by longtime collaborator Sally Schaefer on violin; or as a band when combined with members TJ Luckman (bass), Jordan Smith (lead guitar), and Josh English (drums). The project's sound has drawn such comparisons as "Joni Mitchell meets Nirvana," "Avril Lavigne and Foo Fighters in a blender," and "Kathleen Hanna fronting Modest Mouse."

Search | Add | 2 | The Last Day Of Winter | The Last Day Of Winter are a Portuguese post-rock band from Ovar, it consists of [a7874909] on guitar, [a7874930] on bass and [a7874929] on drums. Born and developed by elements of many distinct and distant musical, social and artistic movements, but always with the common goal to fight and defeat inertia and musical conservatism of their own environment, and after a long period of rehearsals and failed formations, The Last Day of Winter managed to find their own identity and, finally, move on to the studio and record all of what they had absorbed. Endowed with a melancholic density and dissonant gestures, a distorted and introspective approach, we are invited to take a stroll through the universe of some of the most influential band of experimentalism and post-rock of our days, showing us that sometimes the vocal melody can be a purely figurative element in musical composition.

Beginning as an instrumental duo in 2010, the band has evolved with each release adding infectious vocal hooks, shredding drum syncopation, intriguing bass lines, and hilariously morbid skits. If you want a simple band with no substance singing about new shoes and lost love, this is not the band for you. If you want help to transcend the illusion of daily life on your imminent path to touch tips with the universal beings, follow The Prophet Nathan into the light. Search | Add | 2 | Vernon Building Society Poynton Brass Band | The original Poynton Band first started in the early 1800's in the coal mining village of Poynton. The exact year is not known, but records show that it was thriving by 1824 and that Lady Vernon, who was involved with charity work for miners families, provided the Band with new uniforms in 1832. Before World War II, and in the previous century, the band played at Civic events, including the May Sunday Parade and "Walking Day" (Whitsun) in June, the Poynton Show in August, Armistice Sunday and Christmas Carolling and various Church services. Notable parades since World War II have included the Queen's Coronation in 1953 and her Jubilee in 1977.
