Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Gaststätte zum heissen Hirten | David Heiss, Otto Hirte | David Heiss and Otto Hirte founded the freshest ensemble in the BigBand universe in 2010. Sometimes soloistic, sometimes symphonic. Pictures of Siamese twin lapdos next to a woman at the bar. Sometimes jazz, sometimes 12-tone compositions, sometimes hip hop. Sounds of a small band accompanied by a big band. Effervescent and bittersweet at the same time. The restaurant zum Heißen Hirten cannot be pressed into a style grid. It is a big band without piano and guitar, but with 13 selected individualists, who bathe here and there in their predilection for the grotesque. Expects no tradition, but above all grandiose music, played by the biggest and hottest BoyBand worldwide. |

| Search | Add | 2 | SWRM | Alec K. Redfearn and Matt McLaren continue their decades-long musical journey with their new duo project SWRM. This project represents both a departure from, and a deepening of, their previous work with Alec K. Redfearn & The Eyesores. While song-structured, there is an improvisational foundation to the sound. The music is darkly futuristic. It draws on the raw early electronic rumblings of Silver Apples and Tubeway Army, but stays rooted in dark folk blues, Balkan music, psych-rock, free jazz/free improvisation, Krautrock and the post-hardcore explorations of the SST records roster of the 80’s. A large part of the impact of SWRM is the contrast between the electronic sounds and the traditional drum kit. In this sense the sound moves both forward and backward in time. Distorted analog synthesizers and acoustic drums rumble in dynamic waves under AKR's alternately whispered and belted vocals. The duo has worked together since the late 80’s and there is a natural synergy that comes from countless projects, gigs, jams and rehearsals. The music breathes, growls and swells like a living beast. The lyrics continue in the apocalyptic vein of much of The Eyesores material. Themes of love and loss, paranoia and dissolution, aging and obsolescence and attempts to make sense of a world we no longer recognize as our own. Redfearn’s weird wordplay and imagery over narrative continue to evolve. Unlike Redfearn’s recent work with modular synthesizers in projects like D.U.M.E. and Reversible Light there is no reliance on clocks, sequencers or arpeggiators in SWRM. Everything is hands-on and tempos have a natural fluidity which suits the emotional landscape of the long-form song structures. | |

This research delves into the fundamental electromagnetic layers of the universe, connecting these signals to visible spectrum coordinates through their unique "krig parameter" formula. | |
