Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Star Thompson | Starlight Jayden Thompson | Star J. Thompson (formerly [a14204422]) is a Rochester-based record producer who usually works with [l3648191]. Thompson has been working with the label since as early as February 2024. In April 2024, they (along with the label itself) would make a proper debut with the EP "April's Day", under the name [a14390594]. This name wouldn't be used until February 2025 when Thompson used it for the song [r=33504644]. This was originally meant to be a one-off, but the reception was so positive that they decided to continue making music under this name, with [r=33362894], their first single after recruiting [a15839834] and [a15839831], releasing in March of that year. Since then, the three have been working on their debut album "You're Doing So Well", slated to release later this year. |
| Search | Add | 2 | MoonFace the Mage | Rhodri Welsh | MoonFace the Mage is the bardic alias of indie-folk solo artist Rhodri Welsh. It's been 20 years since the inception of the MoonFace moniker. Following an indefinite hiatus of his first band, Rhod opted to perform under the pseudonym to complement the finger-picking style, broken-hearted strum, and folk-fantasy confessions of his new solo acoustic project. In 2005, Rhod joined forces with producer James Morgan to record and release a DIY EP titled 'Beyond All Recognition.' And at the same time as working full time in a Cardiff tailor shop, MoonFace continued to be a presence on the South Wales music scene with live shows and festival appearances before a UK tour sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Devendra Banhart, Seth Lakeman, Maria Taylor, and Hayseed Dixie. And in 2008, seamlessly evolving into a 4-piece band called 'MoonFace and the Familiar Shapes.' Now, after a decade of creating a compendium of tales that traverse the realms of godless things and mountain kings in thematic existentialism, Rhodri Welsh and James Morgan join forces once again to record 'Astoria, to the Sea' the first full length LP from MoonFace the Mage to be released later this year. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Blackout Express | Blackout Express was a Sleaze band from Sweden. 5 dudes from all over Sweden. 4 of us have played together for about 2 years under the name Bad Medicine. With our up-incoming release we had to change our name since Bad Medicine wasn’t unique. The name we chose to go for was Blackout Express and here we are. New name, same style, more attitude and better songs. Around this time we also realized that we wanted to add another guitar player to the crew. After a few people coming and going on the other guitar spot our singer came in contact with Chris Young. He came up to Sundsvall for his first rehersal with us and joined the band. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Kristin Forbes | Kristin Forbes was born to be a musician. A distant relative of the composer Tchaikovsky, she has been playing music since she was three, when she heard a song on the radio, went to the family piano, and figured out how to play it. She started playing guitar in high school and in college, upon playing in her first band, realized that pursuing music was the life she had to live. She recorded and toured as a solo artist for years in Boston before moving to Washington, DC to play keys with The Travis Morrison Hellfighters (frontman of The Dismemberment Plan). It was in DC in 2005 that she met Olivia Mancini and picked up bass to play in her band, Olivia Mancini & The Mates, which she performed in faithfully for 15 years. She also went on to play bass in The Andalusians, who have a 7" on DC's seminal punk label, Dischord Records. Kristin now lives in Baltimore and has rediscovered her love for playing Jamaican music. Dubbed Lady Hatchet by her peers, Kristin is the fearless leader of The Scotch Bonnets, her punky reggae band that also serves as an outlet for her song-writing. Since their start in 2009, the Bonnets have released two full length albums (Live Ya Life, self-released in 2013 and Come On Over, released on Jump Up Records in 2019), an EP (Quest, released on Morphius Records in 2014), a 7" single (The District, released on Jump Up Records in 2017), and have tracks on numerous compilations. The band backed and recorded with HR, singer from Bad Brains, and twice toured backing Roddy Radiation, lead guitarist of The Specials. The band has toured regionally every year since 2014 and in 2019, they embarked on two cross country tours, once in February to open for American ska founders, The Toaters, and again in June to play the Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival in Victoria, BC. Later that fall, they went out with The Toasters again for a southeast run. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, The Scotch Bonnets embarked on two successful all-outdoor Midwest tours in 2021 and 2022. Hatchet used to considers herself “the utility infielder” in Baltimore’s premiere ska-reggae band The Players Band because, since her start with them in 2008, she has sang, played guitar, bass, even keys when necessary! However, starting in 2023, Kristin has become the permanent bassist of the band as they head into the studio to record their fourth album. She also plays in the only all-female, roots-reggae crew, Strykers Posse: Sistren In Power. During the pandemic, she helped start Rude Girl Revue, an all-female all-star ska band that played headlining festival gigs around the US and UK in 2022, as well as playing festival highlight sets at the Supernova International Ska Festival in 2021 and 2023. In 2011, Kristin spent a month on the Vans Warped Tour playing with Angelo Moore, singers/saxophonist from Fishbone, and the songs they wrote during this collaboration were released in 2015 on the Japanese album Ska Do Au Ska Don't. Kristin spent time in 2013 in the band of NYC ska capo King Django, and in 2015 she filled in on guitar with NYC’s longtime Jamaican music stalwarts The Slackers on their European and Canadian tours. In 2018, she subbed for DC ska-soul hooligans, The Pietasters on keys and later traveled to Mexico to fill in with The Toasters for a week on bass. In 2022, Hatchet was The Slackers' first call to sub for them again on guitar. She also expanded her solo act, opening for The English Beat at the historic Birchmere club in Alexandria, VA, as well as touring Europe by herself, playing the Big One 20 Festival in the UK and travelling by train from city to city to play club gigs on the continent. In 2023, she ventured out by herself into the US, doing a tour to San Antonio, Texas to play Ska By Southwest. It was on this tour that Kristin played her first singer-songwriter showcase in Nashville to an enthusiastic response ("I feel like I just watched a masterclass in songwriting!" exclaimed one industry onlooker). She also did a solo tour of the Midwest, this time bringing her Rude Girl Revue bandmate Dunia Best (founder of 90s NYC ska pioneers, Agent 99) along for her first van tour. Subsequently, Kristin has occasionally been playing guitar in Best's project with her husband, Dunia & Aram. Kristin is proud to be endorsed by Reverend Guitars. Kristin has also started her 16th year teaching music lessons in the Washington DC-area. When filling out tax forms and loan applications, Kristin is very grateful to write "professional musician" on the occupation line. | |

Eind 2001 neemt drummer Harry Ekkel afscheid. Hij werd opgevolgd door Klaas Schrik (Ter Apel). | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Gabriel Galdo | Gabriel A. Galdo I. | Location: Caracas - Venezuela. Genre: House, Techno. Biography (Spanish language): Director & Producer / Filmmaker / DJ & House Music Producer /BTL+ATL+2.0 Strategist Director / Art Director / Creative Director. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Debanjan Bhattacharjee | Debanjan Bhattacharjee | Debanjan Bhattacharjee is an Indian classical sarod player and composer from Kolkata. A disciple of the renowned Ustad Aashish Khan, he received the President’s Gold Medal Award in 2008 and was nominated for a Global Indian Music Award in 2012. He is a proponent of Indian classical techniques and wishes to share them, both to ensure their continuation and to breathe new life into them. To that end, he teaches music classes in his home and spreads his knowledge to a new generation of younger musicians, while also composing and arranging regional folk songs himself. But far from limiting himself to folk and classical idioms, Debanjan is an avid and experienced collaborator and has participated in musical exchanges with artists ranging from Azerbaijan to Germany, and beyond. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Dub Foundation Sound System (2) | Dub Foundation Sound System | The Dub Foundation Sound System was created in 2006 in Fortaleza, Brazil, on the initiative of the Caio Dub Foundation, who lived in London and experienced countless performances of English sounds, including having made friends with several soundmen there. He was joined by Bandit Dubwise, Bruno Fever, Raphael Dubroots and Djemys. Another important project of theirs is the dubplates and productions, which have been recorded since the beginning of the sound with numerous international artists, and which are now being cut into acetate and also released on vinyl by the [l527677] label, in partnership with [a2756584], a label focused on for productions more in the steppers style, and the Dub Foundation label, where some productions will be released later this year, these focused on the style of the 70s and 80s, some reinterpretations of classics such as Apology and Black Cinderella which featured the original musicians of 70s still alive. |
