Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Arbirk | Lead singer Rasmus Arbirk has, after breaking up his band Dead Young Oaks, which was chosen for the Danish music competition Karrierekanonen in 2013 with eg. Minds Of ́99, pulled the plug completely from the musicscene. But only for a small period of time, as he has used the time to reflect on his own life and his music. And with only himself to answer for he has recorded his debutalbum where both the music and the lyrics depicts an artist that has the audacity to be both fragile and reckless at the same time. The songs are about love, loss, anger and pain and with deep empathy, Rasmus invites the listener on a journey through the darkest, but also most beautiful parts of the mind. The debutalbum Disguises can be understood and experienced in many ways. Completely aware and intentional, several different stories, metaphors and themes are being waved in and out of each other throughout the whole album. After falling asleep, our main character moves through a dream and nightmare world, where at first the past is being examined. Initially it is almost therapeutic and constructive, but during the course of the album/night it becomes more and more incoherent and violent. Along the way our main character loses sight of her/himself and can no longer recognize what he/she has become. It all ends on Bridge Queen Louisa where a longing for what might be on the other side of death causes our narrator to throw him/herself into death. Only to wake up from dreaming, now completely aware that something needs to be fixed. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Winter Watercolors | "Ends With The Sea" & "Winter Watercolors“ "Winter Watercolors - Years 1984-1988" They started rehearsing in the Spring of 1983, under the name “Ends With The Sea”. The founding members were : Antonis B. Koukios (guitar, lead vocals, composition, lyrics), Platon Tsoulos (drums) and Spiros Anagnostou (bass and founding member of “Not 2 Without 3”). They performed at various gigs in Athens (at “Skiahtro” club, “Broof”, “Vitreau” and a lot of festivals), playing their earliest songs, “La Morte”, “Years”, “Suicide”, “Take Me”, “Mirrors Inside Mirrors” and more, all of them composed by Antonis B. Koukios. The following year, Spiros Anagnostou left and George K. Koukios (brother of Antonis B. Koukios, and founding member of “Morel”) became his replacement in the band. Unfortunately, during the Autumn of 1984 the band broke up. 1985 : a new beginning for the band, with a different name. “Winter Watercolors” (inspired by an Antonis B. Koukios’ poem). Besides Antonis Koukios and Platon Tsoulos, new members were added : Vasilis Nakis (synths, composition), Dimitris Dimitriou (bass, backing vocals, composition) and Manos Konstantinidis (guitar, backing vocals, percussion, composition). The new members brought new fresh ideas. Their sound was enriched with various pop, jazz and funk elements, taking its definitive, compact and solid form, as can be heard on the record. They started their live appearances once again (clubs like “Cat’s Meow”, “Skiahtro”, “Tracks”, “127db”, “Swing”, “Vitreau” hosted and supported them). In May 1987 they participated in the 1st School contest (with Sarra Galanopoulou on piano) at Sporting stadium, winning the first place. The price was the participation in 2 concerts at “Park”- Pedio Areos, supporting established Greek bands and artists of that period, like “Last Drive”, Pavlos Sidiropoulos, “Tripes” and Dimitris Poulikakos. Their first ever studio recordings took place in 1987 at “Studio +Ena” and remained in their original reel-to-reel tape format till our days. “Mirror Inside Mirrors”, “La Morte (1st version)”, “Time After Time”, “I Suppose”. They appeared in various radio shows, interviews and reviews for their live gigs, while they participated in “Morel’s” first album presentation at “Cat’s Meow” club, along with “Morel” and Giorgos Dimitriadis & Little Heroes. The same year they were chosen by the Ministry of Culture (along with “Lefki Simfonia” and “Rodondo Rocks”) to represent Greece at the 2nd new artists Biennale Festival in Barcelona, Spain. They received some very positive reviews from the Spanish media, and were congratulated in person by Spain’s Ministry of Culture. Just before their trip to Barcelona, they recorded “La Morte (2nd version)” and “Across The Water” at “Studio 111”. “La Morte” was chosen by the Spanish organizers to be included in the official LP-compilation of the 2nd Biennale. In 1988 they recorded “It’s Too Late” and “Alibi” at “Studio Tracks” and participated at Italy’s Biennale pro-festival, which took place in Bari. They were praised enthusiastically by the Italian media, and hosted on Italian television and radio shows. After their return to Greece, they played their last gig at “An” club in Athens and thereafter disbanded permanently. 28 years after their last show, Geheimnis Records with its 24th release, presents the complete studio recordings of the band + 2 songs (from their first live gig in 1984 at Lofos Strefi) from the “Ends With The Sea” era, in 300 hand-numbered copies, 179 of them in black and 109 in transparent orange vinyls. All songs have been remastered by Manos Konstantinidis and mastered for vinyl by Chris Manolitsis. Includes insert with lyrics, photos and a bio/history of the band. The album “Years 1984 – 1988” is dedicated to the memory of our good friend and member of Winter Watercolors, Dimitris Dimitriou. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Hashtag Ensemble | Hashtag Ensemble is a music cooperative founded in 2013, which consists of eighteen musicians and is led by a creative group. Hashtag Ensemble specializes in contemporary music performance, improvisation and art education. The Hashtag Ensemble regularly performs at Polish and international new music festivals, and has produced dozens of repertory and improvised concerts, chamber operas and seven studio albums. The ensemble actively collaborates with composers in Poland and abroad, dedicating much of its activity to the artistic achievements of women. We participate in the discussion about where the world and modern humanity are heading. The Hashtag Ensemble designs concerts set in accessible, usually non-musical contexts. Narrative programming engages audiences and reaches a wide range of listeners, going far beyond music amateurs and experts. The search for new forms of presenting new music leads the ensemble to non-obvious places, where the concert situation becomes as important as the artistic interpretation of the chosen repertoire. We popularize and demythologize contemporary music. The Hashtag Ensemble has been committed to cultural and artistic education since its founding: it carries out original music projects for children and young people, conducts courses and mentoring programs for outstanding performers, and presents works by the youngest generation of composers at national and international composition competitions. We are setting new standards in running cultural institutions by practicing egalitarianism and social responsibility of the arts. In 2023, thanks to the support of the City of Warsaw, the group opened the first and only permanent stage for new music in Poland: Hashtag Lab Contemporary Music Space. In a modernist villa at 29 Barska Street in Warsaw, Hashtag Ensemble performs concerts, plays, performances, as well as composition workshops, educational programs, exhibitions and installations. Hashtag Lab is a meeting place for artists and composers, a space for debates, seminars and conferences. We create opportunities to meet and invite collaboration, we play fair. For years, Hashtag Ensemble has been supporting the deepening of relationships in the contemporary music community, organizing, among others, the #PlayFair campaign. The ensemble is eager to share its experience in running cooperatives and cultural institutions on a democratic basis with partners in Poland and Europe. Members of the creative group establish collaborations with new music ensembles abroad, participate in conferences, panel discussions and social actions. Hashtag Ensemble is the initiator of the New Music Guild in Poland. The members of Hashtag Ensemble are: Oliwier Andruszczenko, Tymoteusz Bies, Wojciech Błażejczyk, Aleksandra Demowska-Madejska, Adam Eljasiński, Marta Grzywacz, Agnieszka Guz-Tarnowska, Paweł Janas, Ania Karpowicz, Magdalena Kordylasińska-Pękala, Krzysztof Kozłowski, Lilianna Krych, Mateusz Loska, Maciej Nerkowski, Marta Piórkowska, Dominik Płociński, Kamil Staniczek, Kamila Wąsik-Janiak. | |
