Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Hans Austin | New York born hip hop, pop artist. Born and raised in Queens, NY, Hans began rhyming as a sophomore in High School. Initially motivated by a well respected lunch room battle rapper, Hans set out to get the attention of the lunchtime crowd. Armed with his amateur rhymes and a world of confidence, he amazed the lunch crowd and soon became ,one half of, a superstar duo that performed in the cafeteria daily. By the end of his senior year Hans acquired the stage name “Flawless” (given to him because of his incessant desire to pen perfect rhymes) and went on to cause such a lyrical upset at the school’s talent show, that the principal banned rap from any future shows.

Search | Add | 3 | Hume Assine | Ο Hume Assine, ζει στην Αθήνα εδώ και 39 χρόνια και έχει στο ενεργητικό του δέκα singles & EPs, ένα album καθώς και συμμετοχή σε δύο συλλογές, ενώ στα τέλη του 2020 κυκλοφόρησε το The Sweetest Sound.

Search | Add | 3 | Frozen Silk | Band info (Info state 11|2020) FROZEN SILK - that's hot and powerful power rock from Bremerhaven, which is its personal genre defined in a thrilling mixture of catchy pop elements and grooving heavy hard rock! This impressive stylistic variety is supported by the characteristic voice of the front woman Sharon Wynne, who captures the full range of deep emotions with her expressive singing, from pure energy and willpower to deep melancholic abysses, brought to life. Biography: FROZEN SILK was founded in 1997 under the name "SILK" in Bremerhaven and was able to convince its audience and critics with numerous performances in its debut year. After the band won the renowned "Live in Bremen" music contest in 1999, they presented their highly acclaimed debut album "Power" the very next year, which was released under the now extended band name "SILK 99" on the Superrock-Records label and subsequently pre- sented live on a nationwide promotion tour. After more than 100 equally successful and ex- hausting performances, the band members decided in 2006 to go their separate ways and pursue their own projects. Fortunately, this decision was already revised in 2011, so that a new chapter of the band was opened under the name FROZEN SILK with only slightly changed original line-up. Since 2011 FROZEN SILK has been a constant guest on regional and nationwide stages and has made a more than good name for itself as a rousing live act. The band not forgets to transmit their musical power to the audience again and again, but also to demonstrate their qualities to critics, editors and presenters. Since 2018, the four musicians of FROZEN SILK have also been retreating into the studio again and again to work on material for a new album in parallel to their live activities. The re- lease of "Back to life" is scheduled for spring 2021. Line-Up: vocals - guitar - bass - drums - Sharon Wynne Normel Müdeking Rolf Lange Christian Schmutzer Highlights so far since 2011: - Deichbrand open air festival in 2017 - Final Emergenza music contest (Hamburg/Markthalle) in 2016 - Support Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld) in 2015 - Shows in the London YouTube-Studios and at Alley Cat (London) in 2014 The stage has been shared so far with a.o.: Kleinstadthelden, Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld), Terrorgruppe, Hurricane Dean, Anchors & Hearts, She ́s got Balls, Faak Marvin, Rauschenberger u.v.m. Search | Add | 3 | Jason Lee Ward | Jason Lee Ward is a London-based DJ/Producer, born in Islington, North London. Jason spent his childhood surrounded by 70s Jazz Funk, Soul and Disco Music. His interest in music led to Jason spending the 90s scanning through London’s legendary pirate radio stations and inevitably discovering and becoming captivated by classic house and US garage. Along with music, Jason had a promising early career in professional football and came inches away from a full-time career. In spite of that, his passion for music flourished and he decided to refocus his prospects into carving a career in music. From 2009, Jason became a regular DJ on the London underground house scene and successfully built a solid reputation with party-goers and fellow DJs alike. However, in 2013 Jason decided to take a step back from life as a DJ to develop his understanding and skills as a music producer. Jason achieved his first professional qualification in 2015 after graduating from Islington Music Workshop with a Higher National Diploma in Music Technology. To date, Jason has released music on labels such as, Madhouse Records, i! Records, Salted Music, Purple Music and Solid Ground Recordings.

Search | Add | 3 | InChanto | The InChanto's musical experience is therefore inspired by the presence of a particular land; and if the Tuscan musicians propose this journey, they well know that going along these areas means discovering a part of the soul that men little by little have left to things. Once more, there is the attempt of recovering literary and musical traditions from different times and cultures, from the Latin and Mediterranean to the Celtic, that in Tuscany have met during centuries: the one of InChanto would like to be the model journey of people recognizing in his own land the land of everybody. InChanto was born in the summer of 1993 with the intention of proposing a fusion between ancient and electronic sounds and instruments. Afterwards, feeling the need to go back to acoustic and essential resonances, the group introduces historical instruments as the hurdy-gurdy, the baroque flute, the dulcimer and the bodhràn, that have reduced the importance of electronic. In this context, very important are the recent lyrics in fifth and sixth century Italian, in Latin and French.

Search | Add | 3 | Arizenme | Early in the year 2000 5 friends of mutual musical influences assembled to form a band by the name of Kayne who would soon be known better as ARIZENME. The original lineup for the band was Rian Smith-vocals, Justin Wood-percussion, Dale Dickerson-guitar, Seth Johnson-bass guitar, and Joseph Rodriguez-guitar. At first they were playing primarily cover songs with only limited original material. The band spent almost an entire year practicing and writing material before they played their fist live show. The band's sound soon met its audience in Houston's metal and hardcore scenes and continues to do nothing but grow in size. In February of 2002 guitar player Dale Dickerson decided to leave the band due to creative differences. After Dale parted ways with the band they had to rework a lot of their material so it could be played as a four-piece. After a few months of work the band had rediscovered their musical tightness and decided to go into the studio and record their first CD. In the later months of 2002 Arizenme once again pondered the idea of acquiring a second guitar player. In October of 2002 the band soon found the missing piece of their equation in long-time friend Daniel Caldwell. Since then Daniel has been a dynamic addition to Arizenme's audio onslaught. Arizenme welcomes 2003 with the release of their first CD. This self-titled debut promises to leave audiences hungry and anxious for more. Arizenme's sound can't be summarized in just one or two songs. Each song has something different and innovative to offer and no 2 songs are alike. The energy of an Arizenme show is constantly on the rise each show a little crazier than the last. When Arizenme plays, crowds move because their music is real and it's raw. "We put our hearts and souls into our music and we hope the crowd can appreciate that, and all we want from anyone is their respect." ~Joseph and Rian. Arizenme has shared stages with national acts such as The Dillenger Escape Plan, Prong, Mastadon, and Dust for Life as well as local bands such as Fault, Four, The End of Irony, Sore, and many others. Arizenme has come a long way in a fairly short amount of time and they plan to continue to do so far into the future.

Search | Add | 3 | Vaudville | Vaudville is: Doug Savage - Vocals Dave LaChance - Guitars Blaine Horn - Bass Kelly Ryan - Drums In 1990, former Rated-X guitarist, Dave LaChance, and drummer, Kelly Ryan, set out to form a band that would not only catch the attention of a thriving Hollywood music scene, but the world as well. To complete the rhythm section, they found ex-G.G. Gangster and Juicy Miss Lucy bassist, Blaine Horn and the nucleus of Vaudville was formed. After months of writing and rehearsing new material, it was time for the trio to find the right voice to complete their aggressive, street wise brand of hard rock. A nation wide search led them to Ohio, home of Nasty Action frontman, Doug Savage. A couple weeks later, Savage was on a plane bound for Los Angeles, and the line-up was set. By early 1991, Vaudville exploded onto the L.A. club scene, and made its mark in no time. The band quickly gained a large following and found themselves headlining shows up and down the Sunset Strip. This was followed by the release of their first, five song demo, which propelled them to the top of the scene. By the time they released their second, four song demo, they were solidified as a Hollywood powerhouse. Vaudville disbanded in 1993.
