Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | The Eye-Full Tower | Paul Dreyfuss/Johnny Cymbal | Paul Dreyfuss sings lead on Carol Cartoon with Johnny Cymbal singing the harmony and the verse. Paul Dreyfuss sings the flip side alone. Paul Dreyfuss was managed by Johnny Nash 1965-1966 and recorded on Joda but nothing was released. His only release was this record which was written by Johnny Cymbal. After it was released Paul put a group together (Joe Nesor, bass and Jimmy Fracassi, lead guitar, unknown drummer). Johnny Cymbal did not appear with the group although he wrote Carol Cartoon and named the group The Eye-Full Tower. The difference between J. Cymbal's voice and P. Dreyfuss's is very noticeable. The vocals were recorded 3/7/1967 in Bell Sound Studio. The original record has the group called Dreyfus & Company on the label but the deal was made using the name The Eye-Full Tower. It was released on SSS International in the U.S. and on Polydor in the U.K. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Choke.Me | Nu Metal band formed in 1998 from Montabaur, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. From zero to one hundred in record time - that's how you could outline Choke.me's career. Only founded in 1998, the guys have already come a long way. Just six months after their founding, they were allowed to see the light of day in their home halls. A little later, the first foreign arrangements came and so the giglist is still filled with over 50 concerts between Aachen and Frankfurt. If you wanted to put Choke.me in any box, they probably wouldn't fit anywhere. In this case, crosscore is probably the best definition for a mix of nu metal, crossover and hardcore elements. The songs are interspersed with frenzied drum parts, electro samples and so many groovy riffs that you could easily make four or five songs out of one. The vocals vary between evil raps, melodic murmurs and piercing shoutings. Mostly introduced by didgeredoo and peppered with all kinds of effects, you can be prepared for a huge sound spectacle. In January 2002, the guys from Choke.me were once again in the studio to replace the long outdated demo "2nd of the 1st". The self-produced record (Rel. Herbst/2000) was already the second studio experience. Meanwhile, the first recording is gathering dust on its own shelves due to a lack of technical quality. Thus, the second work is officially the first, which also explains the title. The release of the new material is expected in autumn 2002 and will be called "Just Four Years Past". A live gig should not be missed under any circumstances - if only because there you can only buy the records and various merchandising frunz. However, we assume no liability for sweaty T-shirts, parched throats and various catchy tunes. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Kweku Ananse | Nana Osei Mainoo | Kweku Ananse is a hip-hop DJ and producer from Accra, Ghana. A Part-time DJ at VIBE 91.9 FM in Accra, who also works for the label [l=Pidgen Music], together with his partner [a=Panji Anoff]. His name is derived from a mischievous character in Akan follklore, often depicted as a spider, and used to illustrate the cunning, greedy, illustrious, creative, flawed, funny, bold, childish, witty, clever, jealous, genius, selfish and communal nature of the collective. We released two EPs, which received quite a lot of air play in the Boston area. We even had a top 20 hit on college radio across the country. We were in the midst of recording our third album when the band broke up. One of my favorite cuts from those final sessions was a song called One Step Forward, which was never released. I especially love the background vocals sung by Rosemary St George. An amazing talent who has gone on to have a great music career on her own. This song is about having the courage to heal ourselves in order to heal the world – one step at a time…." - Forrest Hill | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Jay Fortier | Manistee, Michigan native Jay Fortier began his career in the 1960s singing and playing banjo with folk music trio The Coachmen. Discovering Rock N’ Roll, Fortier switched to guitar and soon founded The Magnatones. The group kept busy gigging locally. However, the young Rock band went through several name and personnel changes to ultimately become the hugely popular regional outfit Band X. By this time the multi-talented Fortier had switched to bass guitar. Band X continued to record and gig around their native Michigan for almost a decade and received steady radio airplay for their regional hit “How Good The Rain.” Then came more personnel changes and a new name morphing Band X into North Country. Sadly, after a year, North Country fizzled. However, Jay continued to write, record, and play in a variety of bands and recording projects and Jay was inducted to the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame with Band X. | |
