Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His wide musical interests include hip-hop, jazz, folk, electronic, classical and film music, which he filters through his own mind and ideas to create minimalistic, disturbing soundscapes and ambient backgrounds. | Search | Add | 3 | Kindred Sol | Sam Spiers | Electronic sounds with a human touch... Kindred Sol is a project based equally on reflection and escapism, using the world around as inspiration, as well as the inner world of the imagination. In all likelihood, somewhere far out in outer space, there’s a sun similar to ours, orbited by a planet similar to ours. Over tens of thousands of years, perhaps this planet has also been moulded by humanoids - just like ours… If so, hopefully they’re doing a better job of respecting the planet and fellow lifeforms - including each other - than we are here. Kindred Sol is a project that reflects on our world and our condition (and conditioning). It is a project based on the idea that humans are capable of greatness, especially when working together, but also a project influenced by frustration at the position we find ourselves in, a position where it seems the future is rushing in at us much faster than we are moving forward to accept it. Part of what I am trying to achieve is music that either considers - or does its best to escape - the power of opposable thumbs (thumbs that can manipulate and exploit, create and destroy). Though the individual sounds are shaped from the pulse of electricity and the arrangement of 1s & 0s, the underlying tone is human in character - and the final output aims to be something as unique and as imperfect as each of us. |

| Search | Add | 3 | 3° Below | Band from Oakland, CA formed in the mid 90's. They released a few records and by the time 2000 dawned, guitarist Randy Markham had been diagnosed with a severe eye condition that was slowly spiraling into blindness and the band began to lose steam, having never really taken a break over their long career. So with one last show in San Francisco, 3°Below called it quits. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Slope Unit | Sasa | Originally from Poland, Slope Unit has debuted over a decade ago in the infamous club [M]etro Club back in his hometown, Białystok. Record-digging routines together with dedication to the rhythm drew his attention towards the wider aspect of sonic experimentation which pushed him to start producing his own material. After a few years of relentless mixing in Warsaw, he was looking for a more suitable place to unfold his musical journey, and London turned out to be the location. Hardware synthesizers were suddenly overshadowed by eurorack's universe, what was recycled later on for his recently released EP's on Modular Underground and Totentanz Recordings. He is a part of the Based On Lies showcase together with his partner in crime - Joanna (T A K A) discovered back in 2016 by Dazed & Confused and endorsed by Revive Festival 2019. Now returning to DJing, Slope Unit constantly amazes us with the immense energy of his sets and his uncompromising selections, claiming that pushing musical boundaries is his call of duty. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ambition Demolition | Ambition Demolition was formed in April (2016) with Alan Cattermoul on guitar & vocals, Clive Buff Cooper on Bass & vocals and AL Stone on drums. Some good fun Punk Rock tunes followed, and in less than four months we had managed to get together an albums worth of 12 songs!! Our first 6 track EP, Punk for Life, was recorded at the end of 2016 in true DIY style and is available from the band. We have a bit of variety in our locker so hopefully there's something for everyone in the set!?!?! Also, we have more songs in the pipeline, and it's really nice to have the pleasure & option of moving the songs around to suit every situation!! We had our first gig @Frog & Fiddle in Cheltenham Glos. Saturday 24th September 2016 with lots more gigs now played supporting, amongst others, UK Subs, The Lurkers, Subhumans, DeRellas, Hands Off Gretel, and Reno Divorce from the States. We've also played a number of festivals in 2017 including Bash the Bishop, Degeneration, Juzbcuz, No More Heroes, and Rebellion. Many more gigs in the pipeline and we'll put flyers for all those and more up on here as soon as we can!! We'll have merchandise at all gigs too, so keep your eyes open for that and a new album in the pipeline. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Keith Jarrett Quartet | [a=Keith Jarrett]'s "American Quartet" grew from the first [a=Keith Jarrett Trio] (featuring [a=Charlie Haden] on bass and [a=Paul Motian] on drums), when saxophonist [a=Dewey Redman] joined the 1971 recording sessions for what eventually became the albums [m=238335] and [m=119164]. By 1973 the metamorphosis from trio to quartet was complete with Dewey becoming a full member. The group lasted until October 1976 and recorded almost a dozen albums in this brief period, sometimes featuring extra musicians such such as guitarist [a=Sam Brown (2)] or percussionists [a=Guilherme Franco] and [a=Airto Moreira]. The American Quartet was given this moniker to distinguish it from Jarrett's "European" or "Scandinavian Quartet", featuring [a=Jan Garbarek], [a=Palle Danielsson] and [a=Jon Christensen]. It should be noted that even though both groups formally existed, they were never credited as such on any of the albums they released, which generally only billed Keith Jarrett as main artist. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Kapp Ivory Project | Kapp and Rachel met in Detroit in 1989 not long after Kapp came back from touring with The Winans and Rachel was still doing track dates with Kiara, an Arista recording artist. Kapp and Rachel started recording in various studios around the city trying to develop their own unique sound, but then decided to establish their own studio for greater consistency and accessibility. In the early 1990's, Rachel topped the state and performed on Star Search with Ed McMahon, where she reached the semi-finals. In the meantime, Kapp was working with people like Motown writer Barrett Strong and Parliament/ Funkadelic founding member Calvin Simon, both Rock & Roll Hall of Famers. They also teamed with a Detroit radio station personality and created the theme song for the Detroit Pistons at the time of their N.B.A. championship. They then collaborated with legendary techno-house DJ Kevin Saunderson, from Virgin Records recording artist Inner City, on The Reese Project. The first single Direct Me (Giant Records/Warner), featuring Rachel, went #1 for six weeks on the U.K. Billboard charts. The second single, Colour of Love (Giant Records/Warner), also featuring Rachel, went #3 for four weeks on the U.K. charts, as the full CD Faith, Hope & Clarity (Giant Records/Warner) was released. During the later 1990's, Kapp and Rachel produced and collaborated with a number of artists, including R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop, Gospel, Rap, Classical, and Country. In 1999, Kapp teamed with Kern Brantley from Crazy Joint (Bad Boy Records) and produced Lighthouse for the gospel choir New Direction on Word Records/Sony. Family Unit was formed later that year, developing a strong local Detroit following and a library of unreleased studio recordings. Since then, Kapp and Rachel's production work has been in constant demand, with Kapp's contributions on Put Your Hands Up In the Air (Westbound, 2001) by the Original P (Parliament/Funkadelic) being his most recent hit effort. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Manzoor Ahmad Khan Niazi | Ustad Manzoor Ahmed Khan Niazi has passed away today. He was 98. He was, both age-wise and stature-wise the senior-most Qawwal in the Indo-Pak Subcontinent. He had one of the most instantly recognizable and absolutely, mellifluously endearing voices in all of Qawwali. He was the leader of the most phenomenally gifted, albeit short-lived Qawwali group of the last century, a Supergroup which included his cousins Munshi Raziuddin Khan. Ustad Bahauddin Khan and Iftekhar Ahmed Nizami, and whose surviving recordings seem to date from a time and place that's almost too phenomenally wonderful that merely listening to them sometimes feels like an act of desecration. His last recordings, from when he was 90 years old, still carried the same verve, the same 'taazgi' as his recordings from the '60s His was the voice that first sang Maulana Jami's "Naseema" and Nawab Hilm's "Yaad Hai Kuch Bhi Hamaari Kanhaiyya" to me, and even today I can scarcely appreciate these two canonical Qawwali kalaams in any other Qawwal's voice. With Niazi Sb's passing closes the chapter of the Golden Age of Pakistani Qawwali. He was a predecessor of, and later a contemporary of Nusrat, The Sabri Brothers, Aziz Mian Qawwal, Bakhshi Salamat Qawwal, Aziz Ahmed Warsi, Jafar Hussayn Khan Badayuni and ALL the Qawwals of the latter three quarters of the twentieth century. He survived them all well into the twenty-first century before finally returning to his Maker | |
