Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Raul Mad | Raúl Castro Fernández | Electronic musician from Granada, Spain. Raúl Mad is a name you probably know if you are aware of the Spanish trance and techno trance scene. After years of shaking this style throughout the Iberian geography, through his well-known radio program "WE ARE IN TRANCE" and his renowned sessions, where he combines precision, speed and technique equally, it is a mind that does not stop. Dj, promoter of events and raves, radio broadcaster with more than two decades of experience and now back to the studio, show, that his involvement with music is total. Since 1993, when he was very young, he became hooked on electronic music listening to the legendary program It's Your Time and to this day, he has not stopped doing things. He has toured by pricking half a Spanish geography and has performed outside our borders, in Cyprus, in sessions where in addition to carrying the best of the current sounds, his influence is felt by the music of the 90s. He has shared a booth with world-class DJs, vocalists or musicians, within styles as varied as Trance, Techno, House & Oldschool. Name them all, would be an arduous task. He has worked as a broadcaster, dj and event host on prestigious radio stations, such as LOCA FM, DIVA SOUND RADIO and PLAYTRANCE RADIO for many years, as well as collaborating with his sets at the prestigious stations MAXIMA FM and LOS 40 DANCE. Within the studio, he began experimenting in the early 2000s, editing several Break Trance cutting tracks on the prestigious label Breakbeat REFLEX MUSIC with his partner Axion, under the akas Noise Wizards and Axion + Trasher. These works were bestsellers for several years, not only in Spain, but also in the UK, USA or Germany, and included in various cult compilations such as KICK ZONE 1 and 2 or Beat Dis! Sessions, and currently continuing being some of the most sought-after oldschool tracks by fans of this style and still for sale in Beatport. After a few years of blackout and focused on his side as a DJ and promoter, he edited his first work through DIPER RECORDS under his aka INFINITUM, and remixed the prestigious DJ and producer Julio Posadas through 73 MUZIK, as well as editing "Reflections of the Moon" with Fisical Project. Search | Add | 4 | Trans/Human | Adam Denton and Luke Twyman began collaborating under the name Trans/Human at The Audacious Art Experiment HQ in Sheffield during 2011. Employing several noise making devices and techniques in their performances, including mobile phones, radio, cassette tape, prepared electric guitar, processed drums, strobe lighting, contact microphones, field recordings and feedback systems, Trans/Human’s concerns lie within the physical act of music making and its relationship to environment and audience. Through their collaboration the duo sought to reflect their inclination towards creating ritualized sonic and visual experiences via a series of improvised performances, resulting in the cassette release, The 8 Hour Dance (2011). A further release on Blackest Rainbow, The Wider, was recorded in early 2012. Trans/Human’s improvised performances led to important collaborations with New Aktionist artists Nick Kilby and Kris Kanavan. Throughout 2012 Trans/Human have developed their performances to use the artist’s body as a conduit between noise and audience. By amplifying objects used by Kilby or Canavan during these performances, Trans/Human have added to their repository of noise making devices, bringing together performance and sound art in an innovative and engaging way.
Search | Add | 4 | Ugly Bluz | Swiss rock-jazz group. Established in 1984 as a blues duo by vocalist and blues harp player [a=Sleepy Dan] with the Czech guitarist [a=Lukáš Machata]. Initially performed mostly blues cover versions as “The Ugly Blues Connection” with guest players. Merged with the parallel jazz-rock project “Rat Tomago” in Autumn 1985, becoming “Ugly Bluz Connected” and resulting in a gradual style shift to free funk and ‘punk-jazz’. Adopted an unusual group naming scheme in early 1986: the attribute “…ected” was changed for every individual live performance or release, often being a commentary of the respective event. Among these names were: Ugly Bluz Injected, Erected, Intellected, Selected, Suspected, Infected, and many more (see ANVs). Disbanded in October 1988. Members: Daniel “Sleepy Dan” Boemle (vocals, blues harp, trombone), Lukáš Machata (guitar, vocals), Joel Kaiser (bass guitar), Roman Gondolán (drums, 1984–1985), Martin Pensa (keyboards, 1985), Christian Wolfarth (drums, 1985), Gitta Kahle (tenor saxophone, 1985–1986), Therese Allemann (alto & soprano saxophone, 1986), Andi Hug (drums, 1986–1988), Christian Brantschen (keyboards, 1986–1988), Tinu Schneider (trumpet, 1986–1988), Christian Germann (tenor saxophone, 1986–1988).

The paper covered each stage of his progress, the culmination of which was the release on 11 April 1963 of his record, (The launch party took place at the Dorchester Hotel the previous night.) The prolific Charles Blackwell penned this and directed the orchestra. Parlophone pressed 10,000 copies and Bick went on tour with the likes of Mike Sarne, John Leyton, Mike Berry and Billie Davis to promote his one-off disc, with no chart success (thanks to fellow 45catter 'manticore' for the info) |

Search | Add | 4 | Caroline Fassie | Caroline also had a stint on one of South Africa's earliest talent shows, Shell Road To Fame. Yeah we just took it way back there. Besides her presenting, Caroline was also known for her long braids that covered one side of her face. We vividly remember a rumour that claimed that Caroline covered her one side because she only had one ear. Hilarious! After her Selimathunzi stint it seemed like Caroline Fassie disappeared from the entertainment industry for good, it was later on revealed that she worked at the SABC’s music department for a while. Caroline Fassie was also the niece of the late Brenda Fassie. It was always a treat to see how well they both gelled on TV whenever Brenda Fassie appeared on Selimathunzi. Apparently, Caroline Fassie also dabbled in music back in the 80s. One of her famous singles was called Tough Enough. Here's the vinyl cover below.

Conceptually, through their soul-defiling music S.E.K.H. offer an exploration of Bataille´s concept of subversion and the embracement of the abyss. A sonic torment evocative of the sounds of other hallucinatory Black Metal entities like Mysticum, Diapsiquir, Blut Aus Nord or Leviathan, although with its unique abhorrent approach to the genre.

Search | Add | 4 | Olimpia Zagnoli | Olimpia is a creative female-type person born into an artistic family in Milano. She drives a Vespa and has large round glasses, but the main thing is that she can, and does, draw like an ambidextrous octopus. One with with prodigious skills, and a doppio espresso. She has been called a “millennial stronza” by a certain green-eyed monster of a certain age. Okay, she’s replaced me, but I can’t help but like her. She’s so good! Although she will admit to being influenced by Bruno Munari, Paul Rand and the other usual suspects, she creates super fresh shapely shapes, completely new voluptuous forms, in her own clean palette of brights and darks, flat as a pancake, baby. After graduating from some kind of design school in Italy, OZ burst upon the New York media scene in a colorful cloud of charm, humor, and easy-to-work-withiness (an essential new adjective when describing young people) in 2008. She then proceeded to take The New York Times, The New Yorker, and the New York subway system by talented storm. OZ’s bright visions pop up -and sometimes out- in all the best places, including Fendi, Apartamento Magazine, The Guggenheim Museum, and the G train. She thinks fast, draws faster, and eats spaghetti like a lady. Along with her father she has designed a line of objects, called Clodomiro, including plates, shirts and scarves, some of which are just plain naughty, and all of which are delightful. Clodomiro is her father’s real name. Go figure. – Laurie Rosenwald www.rosenworld.com OZ lives in Milan. OZ listens to T.Rex. OZ drinks Coca Cola. OZ wears stripes. OZ stands for Olimpia Zagnoli.

Search | Add | 4 | Charlie Vander Meer | Children’s Bible Hour began broadcasting in November 1942. About a year later, when he was nine years old, Charlie was picked out of a studio audience by then host, “Uncle Mel Johnson” to participate in a live broadcast of Children's Bible Hour. From there he went on to a regular spot in the program, reading from “Charlie’s Scrapbook,” reciting poems, helping in the dramatized stories, and often serving as “junior emcee.” At 17, Charlie left the program for four years of college study, graduating in 1956 with a major in radio and television production. Immediately he joined the staff of Children’s Bible Hour and in 1959 was named Assistant Director. He worked closely with “Aunt Bertha” Shooks until her retirement in 1972, when he assumed the directorship of the ministry and host of the radio programs. Known as “Uncle Charlie” to boys and girls around the world, he is part of a ministry that is currently aired on 1000 broadcast outlets, translators and satellators in all 50 states and in many foreign countries. In March 1999, Charlie stepped down as Executive Director and is now serving in the capacity of Ambassador-at-large. He continues as the voice for the daily “Keys for Kids” 4 ½ minute six-day-a-week program, and the daily/weekly program called “Storytime,” as well as re-runs of the classic Children’s Bible Hour broadcasts. Each of these three programs are heard on more than 200 radio outlets. Charlie serves on the Board of Directors of the Arizona-based Family Life Communications, and as a Board member of Christ for the Philippines, a radio ministry headquartered in Iloilo City, Philippines. Charlie and his wife Bette have three grown children and eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
