Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Gamma Men | Steve Gardner, Tom Gallego, Jim Grind, Don Simmons, Darrin Berlin, Dave Elizondo, Gary Meyer | The Gamma Men started in the spring of 1991. The band was more or less founded by Steve Gardner, who is probably best known as the editor of the fanzine Noise For Heroes, a magazine that ran from the early 80s until 1992 and covered punk, garage and power pop bands from around the world. Steve had previously played drums in the band Feeding Frenzy, which included a couple friends he worked with and his ex-wife on bass. Feeding Frenzy played a lot of punk rock standards as well as a whole batch of covers of late 80s Australian and European bands, and a fair number of their own songs. The band split up when Steve and his wife got divorced. After that, he tried out for a few bands but quickly decided that if he was going to be in a band that he was really going to like, he had better try to organize it himself rather than join something already going. more at URL |

| Search | Add | 7 | Nika Machaidze | ნიკოლოზ მაჩაიძე (Nikolos Machaidze) | Nika Machaidze (b. 1972) is a Georgian musician, producer, composer, and filmmaker, best known for his electronic music projects [a=Nikakoi] and [a=Erast]. He is a member of Goslab artist group and a cousin of the artist and filmmaker [a=Salome Machaidze]. Born in a family of well-known Georgian cinematographers, Nika Machaidze studied at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University in Tbilisi, graduating in animation (1992) and film direction (1997). From 1991 to 2000, he worked as an author, director, composer and film editor for the state Georgian television, as well as Rustavi 2 broadcasting company. Machaidze started making electronic music in the mid-nineties, combining digital noises and IDM rhythms with melancholic melodies (often inspired by Georgian folk music). In 1999, Nika won Grand Prix at the Electronic Music Festival in Paris, where he appeared under a new artistic pseudonym 'Nikakoi' (as suggested by a friend [a=Thea Djordjadze]. In Russian, Никакой means “none”, “undefined”, “featureless”). Nikakoi released his debut album [r=106252] in 2002 on [l=WMF Records] in Berlin, followed by [r=178243] next year. In 2004, Machaidze presented his new alter ego, Erast, and released [r=267413] and [r=329573] EPs (second and third releases on a recently established [l=Laboratory Instinct] label). Erast is a reference to Erast Fandorin, a main character of a critically acclaimed book series by Boris Akunin. Nika released [r=506712], a debut full-length album by Erast, in 2006. In 2009, Nikakoi returned with two releases on Laboratory Instinct: 2xCD compilation [r=2081020] (best tracks from both albums plus unreleased material), and a new double ambient album [r=2081000]. This work marked a significant shift in Nikakoi's artistic style and consisted of two rhythmless ambient tracks and a collection of sublime piano-based electronic soundscapes on the second disc. In 2012, Nikakoi released a new album in Japan – [r=3558829], a collaboration with Tokyo-based musician [a=Coppé]. His most recent work, [r=9289110] EP, was released on [l=Transfigured Time] in 2016. Nika Machaidze composed soundtracks for Archil Kavtaradze, Salome Machaidze, Zaza Rusadze and other notable Georgian movie directors. He also wrote music for several theatrical plays, such as The Park by [a=Botho Strauß]. Machaidze is closely tied and had been collaborating extensively with [a=Natalie Beridze] (also known as [a=TBA (2)] and [a=Tusia Beridze]) and [a=George Dzodzuashvili] ([a=Post Industrial Boys]). |

| Search | Add | 7 | Richard Groove | Gabriel Madrid | Since the 90's, Gabriel Madrid aka Richard Groove has been influenced with Hip Pop and Rap music, but through a small change of artists like Orbital and Kraftwerk, it gave him a small path to come other bunch of artists like Thomas Bangalter and Laurent Garnier that made him go to more urban sounds where the French and Disco House will mark him for life. This gave him the decision of becoming a dj and play this kind of music to the under side of the scene in Santiago ( Chile ) and using the dj nick " Daft Groove ". Through more homemade parties Gabriel starts to show the house genre with good results, but after contacting people in the Santiago's scene it gives him the oportunity to play at a real club with a good crowd as it was the " Bar Forestal " club. That's how his disc jokey work starts and where it comes more different oportunities to play in knowable clubs as "Cresta Negra" ( Rancagua ), " Punta De Lobos " ( Pichilemu ), " Pagano " ( Valparaiso ) y tambien tocar en eventos masivos como "Urban Rave " ( 2003 - 2004 - 2005 ), "Musica Desde El Oriente " ( 2008 ), Gay Parade Chile ( 2008 - 2009 - 2010 - 2011 ). Though his music creation didn't started until 2006 and it follows as a long process until 2010 where his sound production starting to really get well done and with mayor influences like Daft Punk, High Caliber, DJ Sneak and others. With a lot of work and much promotion, Richard Groove gave his first single called " Banged " and with this he signed more than one contract inside and outside of Chile, labels like Sugar Shock Digital ( USA ) and Agua y Sed ( Chile ). Gabriel continues to produce music as he still gives his mark as a dj in the chilean club's dancefloors. |

| Search | Add | 7 | DE3IVAT | DE3IVAT is one more brainchild of multmedia artists Mirco Dalos & Christoffer Grunau. After putting T3AFO to rest with a huge mass of audio samples, fragments, visuals and ideas flying around, there was hardly a thought of finishing. It's merely in the art of stopping and starting again that gave birth to DE3IVAT. Joy, fun and the idea of »let's see what happens« had to be the defined watchwords for bringing something to the table again. As multi-media location-based art involves many many people, budgets, negotiations and, yes, also frustrations at time, DE3IVAT is home-made, ever-fresh, like a child-play. So we assess all available data from the T3AFO archive, take our field recorders & cameras for walks and rides again, liberate us from constraining thoughts and produce material that is as light as it is satisfying. Take a noise here, perform a beat there, find a voice that might not be listened to and mould it into NOI_ES POP. DE3IVAT's first major operation is a six-EP-series, starting August 31st, 2018. The objective is to release a product all three months ending Xmas 2019 with an extra special product that still needs to define itself. So now it's up to you to enjoy: Play our music loud or not at all. To hell with any bullshit! | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Wind Fire | Progressive psychedelic trance duo project based in São Paulo , Brazil Wind Fire is a Progressive and Psytrance project created in September 2012 by duo 'Kromah' and 'Patrícia Leal', who live in São Paulo, Brazil. The duo tends to Progressive Trance, Psychedelic Progressive, Modern Progressive Trance and Progressive House. Innovation is the foundation of Wind Fire's work, its presentations are done in the LiveSet format, always joining a good mix with a variation of basslines containing a lot of groove and remarkable synths, thus making a good story. With over 12 years of experience as a dj player, Kromah has already gone through various national clubs and parties such as Pacha, Eazy, Clash, Club A, Privilege (Buzios), Mermaid, Hot Hot, Ice Club, Chameleon Resident), Eivissa, Club Nud at the Sirius parties, Summer Sessions,, Psy 4 Friends (Resident), World Oz Festival, Psyzone Festival, Trancendence, High Waterfall, among others. Over time, Kromah met Patricia and for the same affinities and musical tastes, they decided to form the project, which would become something that really made sense to their lives. They already have a considerable number of songs, being sold in all virtual stores of the world, by the labels Solid Recording, Ibiza Dance Music, InTrance, PanMusic. The time passed and with the evolution of their work, were invited in April 2015 by the label Plusquam Records one of the world's top seals create a new EP that will be called Evolution Continues, and thus joining great names such as Zyze, Hi Profile, Flegma, Liquid Sound, Fatali, Echoteck, Solaris Vibe, Sunstryk and others. Wind Fire was created by the meaning of 'Wind' as Wind being Patrícia Leal and 'Fire' as Fire being Kromah. These are elements that bring a symbology of greater energetic foundations to what the duo of artists believe. It is worth mentioning that the productions of the Wind Fire project are elaborated jointly by the duo and not only with the presence of a producer. Just as the Live presentation will be done only by the two components, not just by an artist! | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Peter Shambrook | Australian folk-pop singer Pete Shambrook failed to attract much attention in the United States, despite three impressive albums in the early 1990s. Almost nothing was ever written about him in the usual media, except a positive review of his album Love Unseen in CCM. Rick Elias produced his debut project, and Shambrook toured America as the opening act for Elias and headliner Margaret Becker. Love Unseen was produced by music veteran Paul Clark. It opens with what would become Shambrook's best-known song, a straighforward rock number called "I Believe in You." Love Unseen also includes a cover of Van Morrison's "Whenever God Shines His Light." Then Shambrook resurfaced with another album on the Maranatha! label at the end of the decade. By then, he was serving as college pastor of Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Newport Beach, California. Peter has also sung on a number of other Maranatha! projects, including those associated with Promise Keepers. | |

At the turn of the century, when the first major wave of Russian Jewish immigrants settled in America, Chicago's Maxwell Street became famous for its open-air Sunday marketplace crowded with Jewish pushcart-peddlers--an institution which has survived in the hands of fresh waves of immigration. The band was named in tribute to the spirit of Chicago's early immigrants. In 1983, Lori Lippitz founded the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band. In the years since, Maxwell Street has become the Midwest's most popular klezmer band, touring numerous times in Europe and performing throughout the U.S. including Carnegie Hall. Audiences of all backgrounds are delighted by Maxwell Street's high-energy performances that glow with warmth and humor. Our Performances have been staged across America and Europe. In 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2007 and 2009, the band performed concerts across Europe including in Germany, London, Munich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Enschede and The Hague. In 1998, the band gave their debut performance at Carnegie Hall and at New York's Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. Maxwell Street has appeared on the PBS program "World Stage Chicago" in 1995, and was featured again on Public Television's "Artbeat Chicago" in March 1999. One of their songs was featured in an episode of ABC's "Saving Grace." Maxwell Street has been featured annually on Network Chicago's (PBS) "Do It Yourself Hanukkah" television special. Maxwell Street received the "Best Jewish Album" Award in 2004 in the Independent Music Just Plain Folks Awards. The band has recorded five CDs. Betty took over management of the record store in 1962, when Don went into the life insurance business, and also ran Betty’s Laundromat, next door to the record shop, “Bellaire's only 24 hour coin operated laundry.” Don, who said, “Record is my middle name,” closed up shop in 1998 after 42 years in business. The name was changed to its current form a year later when Samul joined the band. The music style has always been aggressive and captivating... the strong alternative has been influenced by hardcore and hiphop over the years, but beautiful songs and melodies have always been an important part of CC's music. Mikko (Kärkkäinen) found his way to the band in the autumn of 2000. We have played a lot of gigs, gained experience and audience in the same time...e.g. Tammerfest-99, Tulliklubi, Woodblock-99/-00, YO-talo...etc. Live CrappyClown is energetic, aggressive...the stage is a riot. CrappyClown won the Woodblock 2000 band contest, which was judged by musicians and record company representatives from Tampere, a small victory, but it gave a lot of confidence and enthusiasm to go even harder." 1998 - 2002 | |
