Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Rhys Bloodjoy | Rhys Bloodjoy — "a solo psychedelic explosion" — has been wowing crowds with his unique blend of cold-wave/post-punk/neo-psych carnage since emerging on the Manchester underground music scene in late 2014. Shrouded in mystery with his head hooded, Bloodjoy's one-guitar-sound combines heartfelt and moody vocals, semi-controlled feedback and echo-drenched acoustic guitar loops and beats; a sound which has been described as "Hypnotic...mellow and intense at the same time", while his live performance has been dubbed as one that "quite easily blows most four and five piece epics bands off the stage." | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Morticia's Chair | Cleveland-based band Morticia’s Chair evolved out of a series of musical experiments hosted by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Mark Kae as he was casting about for a new avenue of musical expression following the breakup of the band Screwtractor. Originally conceived as a fluid vehicle for his diverse artistic tastes and talents, Morticia’s Chair eventually coalesced into its current lineup, featuring Kae, drummer Michael J. Graehling who played with bands like Whatts Gnu, and The Bad Checks, and bassist Frank Prpic, also of Center for Rock Research and formerly with bands such as Nameless Desire, the Tools and ADM, in which he also played with Mark Kae. During the four years that Screwtractor was together, recording for MCA and touring the country with their powerful, dramatic music that blended metal, gothic and industrial influences, Kae was also developing a personal musical vision. When Screwtractor broke up in 1995, Kae started to work on that vision in his practice space, adding and subtracting other musicians based on their ability to relate what he was trying to do. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Panùm | Daniele Fazio | Panùm, from Pallagorio(Crotone,Italy), lives in the artistically challenging city of Bologna since he is studying engineering at the university because of a passion for the audio-musical software. Panùm has been influenced by the Notwists electro post-rock up to the techno-minimal of Twerk and his techno-minimal is full of a genuine noisy style. At the moment he is involved in several projects that often bring him to Italys capitol, Rome, where hes collaborating with the brand new electronic music label Beatperminute. Looking constantly for new techniques, Panùm gets inspired by the minimal germanic sound. His minimal IDM, tells about futuristic and alienating trips, evoking the typical atmospheres of clubs in Berlin. After the cd Ghora released for Beatperminute, Panùm comes out with his second act: Puda, a techno ep for the new born netlabel Homework Records. Panùm has been playing through several events, like Homework Festival (Bologna),Murato (Radio Città del Capo Bologna), Flippaut Festival (Bologna), Amore e Rabbia (Crotone), Street Rave Parade (Bologna) and purposed his lives and dj sets at Cassero (Bologna), Tpo (Bologna), Star City (Bologna), Barcone (Rome),SeOne (London),Enjoy (Naple). Panùm has even participated as a guest to the Blue Room project at Rialto SantAmbrogio (Rome) and as opener dj for the dj set of Darren Price (official Underworld dj). He djs every two weeks at Sesto Senso (Bologna) purposing a constantly updated selection of made in Germany music. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Ali Taş | The minstrel, whose real name was Ali Taş, used both his first and last name as a pen name in his poems. He was born on February 2, 1943, in the village of Bademli in the Dinar district of Afyonkarahisar province. This village was inhabited by Yörük people who were forcibly settled there by the Ottomans at the end of the 17th century. Ali Taş's father was Mehmet Ağa, from the Afşar Yörük tribe, and his mother was Zeynep Hanım, from the Sarıkeçili Yörük tribe. Ali Taş lived in his village until the age of fifteen, where he completed his primary education and helped his family, who were engaged in farming and animal husbandry. During his primary school years, he stood out from his peers with his ability to improvise folk songs, use wordplay in his speech, and recite rhymes (Öztürk 2010:15). At the age of fifteen, due to a blood feud, Ali Taş was forced to leave his village; he traveled to places such as Nazilli, Muğla, Denizli, İzmir, and Uşak, working as a laborer while simultaneously playing his saz (a stringed instrument) and reciting poems. After moving to Istanbul, Taş met Turkish folk music artist Mihrican Bahar. Their friendship played a significant role in Ali Taş's musical career. After living there for a while, Taş completed his military service, first in Hatay Iskenderun and then in Istanbul's Heybeliada. During this period, with the help of his fellow soldier Mehmet Arslan, he further developed his saz playing skills. After completing his military service, he continued his life in Istanbul and released his first records there. Ali Taş, who occasionally visited his village, fell in love with Ulviye, the daughter of Yörük Mehmet, during one of these trips, and they eloped. They had two children, Zeynep (1972) and Özgür (1975). During his time in Istanbul, Ali Taş participated in many tours of Anatolia, performing with his saz in many places. Gaining popularity through these tours, the minstrel continued his tours in countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, and Austria. Ali Taş, who settled in Denizli in 1980, lived in his modest house in the Aktepe neighborhood of the Sevindik district until the end of his life. After settling in Denizli, he earned his living as a musician at weddings. He passed away on February 3, 1991. His grave is in the Denizli Asrî Cemetery. A memorial ceremony for Ali Taş was held on May 10, 1991, attended by famous names such as Murat Çobanoğlu, Şeref Taşlıova, Mihrican Bahar, and Şinasi Uslu. Ali Taş's interest in poetry developed thanks to İbrahim Öz, known as "Deli İbrahim," a neighbor of the Taş family. Listening to Deli İbrahim's performances, where he recited his own poems with his saz (a stringed instrument), from a very young age, Ali Taş became interested in the minstrel tradition and began learning to play the saz under Deli İbrahim's guidance. During the same period, the minstrel had a dream about being invited to become a minstrel, and in this respect, he can be considered one of the minstrels who received divine inspiration (Öztürk 2010:17). The Kerem folk songs of the Dinar region and the local musical tradition of the Teke region, which were influential in the minstrel's development, are reflected in his works in terms of melody. A significant portion of the minstrel's poems have been presented to consumers in the form of nine records and five cassette tapes, and some through a monograph written about him (Öztürk 2010). Among the leading studies on the minstrel is Raif Öztürk's work, "The Voice of This Land: Minstrel Ali Taş of Dinar" (2010). Öztürk, who conducted extensive research on the minstrel's life, provides information about his life and minstrelsy through interviews with his relatives. In addition, he included poems found in the minstrel's notes and notebooks in the same work, ensuring their preservation. The second work mentioning the minstrel is "Poets of Dinar," prepared jointly by Yaşar Sağlam and Raif Öztürk (2011). This work includes information about Ali Taş, along with examples of his poems, along with many other minstrels (Öztürk 2011: 362-382). Another work that briefly mentions Ali Taş is "Folk Poets of Afyonkarahisar" by İrfan Ünver Nasrattınoğlu (2006: 149-160). Apart from these, a book about Ali Taş's life was prepared by Şükrü Tekin Kaptan and submitted to the Denizli Governorship for publication, but the printing never took place (Öztürk 2010: 38). Based on the poems published above, it can be said that the poems, in terms of form, largely embody the characteristics of the minstrel tradition. All of his poems use syllabic meter. The reason for the minstrel's meticulous attention to meter stems from the musical dimension, which can be considered the most important part of his works. The most prominent example of this meter is the eleven-syllable pattern. The language used in the poems is clear Turkish, and in this language, local expressions belonging to the region known as the Teke Region of the Aegean Sea can be seen in places. The majority of the poems he produced are in the koşma form. Apart from this, he also wrote semai and aşık-style poems.

With a combination of different layers of pop and modern house music, Zinkus creates danceable music that perfectly fits the requirement of any contemporary event. In 1993 Zinkus launched a career as a professional DJ, which resulted in the acclaimed album ‘XX Amžiaus Mėsmalė’ (Twentieth century mincer) in 1995. An experimental release with electronic music that was strongly influenced with the modern classical genre. In 1999 Zinkus decided to take a step back from the music industry and explore other fields of interest. However, his passion for producing and entertaining kept lurking in his mind, and made him decide to realise a comeback in 2011. Older, wiser and with years of experience Zinkus is now producing danceable tracks on a continuous basis. Taking ultimate pop songs (e.g. Michael Jackson, George Michael) and turning them into unique and high-level house tunes. To create an exclusive and diverse vibe during live-performances, Zinkus mixes layers of Jazz, Orchestra, Folk, Middle East instruments and Actor speech into his tracks. A true artist with a high level of musical qualities, passion, and the ability to entertain a crowd; who operates according the principle ‘Party people may never be bored’! |

| Search | Add | 7 | Rigo Maldonado | Rigoberto Maldonado | I was born and raised in the small town of Rupert, Idaho. I spent some time living in Austin, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Nashville before settling in New York. I have had some amazing musical experiences throughout my life which include performing on the stages of the Grand Ole Opry and Radio City Music Hall as well as performing to a crowd of 10,000 people in Indianapolis, Indiana. Through my involvement with the renowned Christ Church Choir in Nashville, I was able to record and perform with the likes of Carman, Charlie Daniels, Kim Boyce, Dolly Parton and many others. I was also part of a couple of video shoots with Bill Gaither's Homecoming Series which are still seen on television to this day. My back-up vocalist experience had just started to pick up when I followed my heart and relocated to Long Island, New York. Music continued to be something that I was a part of while working with a couple of church choirs and a short stint in the wedding band industry. I was even a part of a dinner theater group for a short while. Here we are in 2020 and WOW!!! A lot of lives have been changed with the Covid-19 pandemic. Reevaluation of what's important and how I want to spend the next chapter of my life has definitely been brought to the forefront of my thinking. During a forced quarantine, Mark Chadwick and I decided to record some love songs from the past as well as 2 original songs. The result, Love's The Only Way, released on October 30, 2020. |

Spiraloff then went on different paths, exploring different horizons with projects such as [anal]Og.sys, The Fauxhemians or Acridspleen. After a long hiatus (almost a decade), Spiraloff was reborn as an Amsterdam-based, two-men band at the end of 2012 and dropped a surprise new track for Xmas day '13 called 'As Long As It takes' for free on their Bandcamp. A new EP called "Born To Write Sad Songs" was released a few months later in February 2013 on NIDALI Records, and later that year the follow-up EP in the "Amsterdam EP's" trilogy "Lonely Ride 7'". The trilogy was completed early 2015 with the release of "Weathered In My Heart". This 4-track EP took almost 7 months to record and produce, and elaborates extensively on the topic on lost relationships. For Record Store Day '15, Spiraloff dropped a surprise new single called "Miles Apart", an experimental, 2-part piece of music opening new sonic horizons for the 2-headed band |

| Search | Add | 7 | Буря | «BURYA», storm in Ukrainian, came into existence, around 1970 as a four piece band. Until 1979 it has expanded to 7 members, all from the Toronto area. The highly skilled musical talent of BURYA has provided entertainment to audiences of all manner of functions — weddings, dances, bar mitzvahs and festivals. The band is unique in its versatility and arrangements. It is equally at home with waltzes and polkas,as it is with rock, disco, latin and swing. Its music is enjoyed by both young and old. The band likes to play requests and is noted for providing its audiences with an exciting evening of entertainment. Perhaps you may detect a Prairie flavour in the music. Ron Cahute, the leader and accordionist started his musical career at an early age as a drummer in the band of his late father, Maurice Cahute. It was from this experience that Ron acquired a love and appreciation of Ukrainian music of the Prairie Provinces of Canada. This music in the early years of Ukrainian western settlement of Canada was left to develope on its own, almost completely severed from ties with Ukraine and provides an interesting annal in musical history. It is both Ukrainian and Canadian. Although this record has a Prairie flavour, it is not exclusively so. The music it contains includes the variety and talent that is BURYA. 1979 line-up: Ron Cahute – Leader, accordion, bass, organ, synthesizer, vocals Jaroslaw Hryhorsky – violin, viola Len Steciuk – guitar, violin, vocals David Monis – percussion Ron Lutz – saxophone Mike Romanick – clarinet, saxophone Tom Romanick – saxophone | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Rudy Rivers | Rudy LaRiviere | Rudy Rivers (his real name was Rudy LaRiviere) was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He spent his early years in an orphanage. He started entertaining folks at the age of 15. Around that time also, he wrote his first song called “The Yodeling Symphony”. By 19, in the late 1930s, Rudy and his wife to be who also grew up in an orphanage hitchhiked to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force until the end of World War II. Being an excellent artist he opened and ran a sign shop for 47 year. He continued to write songs and entertain. In those days he was know as “Rudy the Yodeling Kid”. I was born in 1944 and was there only child Rudy Jr. Rudy provided Acoff & Rose 12 songs to publish. Some of those compositions were recorded by Wilf Carter and Ernest Ashworth. The song "Pushed in A Corner" was recorded by Ernie Ashworth and reached #11 on the Billboard charts in 1964. Rudy himself recorded for Rodeo Records. But Rudy was not impressed with leaving my home and his wife, Monica, to go on the road to promote his records and career, it was just not his style. He probably passed up a great opportunity. A 1965 article indicates he recorded at least two sides for Rodeo Records and one for Sparton Records in 1964. His notes he had written more than 490 songs over a span of 69 years; most are all love songs. |

Cyborg | Oliver Dicicco | Per Dicicco, he engineered circa Red Exposure and may have appeared in some photos as a droog, and introduced the Stench/Hanes brothers to Chrome. He suggests that Chrome also used the Cyborg name loosely, which is also evident in the appearance of Tommy L. Cyborg on more recent Chrome related releases. Damon Edge claimed in one interview that there was no such person and that they threw the name into credits (for things like "White Noise") as a joke to make it appear there was another person in the group at times. As Oliver Dicicco says, "They played pretty fast and loose with the John Cyborg persona. It was me when we were doing the records, but it could have been anybody." |
