Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Since Svart and Nosos first formed the band in 2015, Supplices concretizes its line-up in 2017 for concerts.

Search | Add | 2 | Ioana Mândrescu | Ioana Mândrescu is a Romanian born sound artist and musician. She is a classical pianist and completed her music studies in her home country, France and Belgium. Her interest in contemporary music was stirred during the time spent at École Normale de Musique 'Alfred Cortot' in Paris. This led to the foundation of two contemporary music groups, Quivir Ensemble, based in Spain and Switzerland and Opia Ensemble, based in Belgium. Strongly influenced by choreography and painting, in the past years she developed, together with her groups, performances that brought together sound, film and dance. They were presented in Belgium – Bozar Opening Night 2015, Festival Courants d'Airs, Poland – FAMA Festival and Iran – First Edition of the Contemporary Music Festival in Tehran. Her life-long involvement with music and her interest in field recordings and the universe of digital sound manipulation led her naturally towards sound art, which led her to study at EPAS programme in Ghent (BE), graduating in 2018. Her main interests are the human voice and human produced sounds and their impact on the way we perceive the world. She is currently working on a database of human voices and on several sound-collage pieces that mark distinct moments in human history.

Search | Add | 2 | The Charles Brothers Trio | The Charles Brothers Trio (Ben, John and Fred Charles) recorded two albums on their own record label “Big Chief Records”, and were guest artists on the Brooks Oregon Family Camp recordings produced in 1960. The Charles Brothers Trio’s music ministry began in 1958, and has taken them on many amazing travels and experiences throughout the US, Canada, and briefly into Mexico. Brothers – John, Fred, and Ben Charles grew up in Klallam Tribal Villages along the Straight of Juan de Fuca in Washington State, USA where their dad worked in the timber industry. Early 1950’s, Pastor Bill Ulin taught the young brothers music basics and provided them guitars to help develop their talents. As young adults, their close vocal harmony and their dedication to God, made them favorites as Native Gospel singers and speakers throughout Washington State, Oregon, and B.C., Canada. In summer of 1964, a tragic logging accident cut short brother Fred’s life. He was 28 years old. He was survived by his wife and two small sons. John and Ben and their families remained in the Pacific Northwest most of the next 40 years. The two brothers sang together for church and community gatherings and events whenever they had opportunity. In 2007 John passed away from respiritory related illness he had suffered for many years, leaving Ben as the only remaining member of the Trio.

Search | Add | 2 | Rob Picazo | Roberto Picazo | Rob Picazo is a Rhythm & Blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. Born in Madrid and based in London, Rob’s love for Blues, Soul and Gospel date back to his teenage years, as regular explorations of his father’s vast record collection and the music of Ray Charles, Sam Cooke and Solomon Burke gave way to an obsession marked by listening, research and adulation. Over time, all these influences inspired Rob to write songs with themes of vulnerability, intensity and heartache. Rob’s songs travel the map of US Soul, R&B and Gospel, drawing inspiration from the sounds of Chicago, New Orleans and, of course, Memphis in the 60s and 70s. Rob’s upcoming album was recorded in the heart of Soulsville with a stunning band that featured Memphis legend Charles Hodges on the Hammond B3. With Rob’s caramel vocals sitting atop a stew of boiling guitars, simmering organ, soulful horns and funky rhythms, he’s set to make his mark in the history of Southern Soul. |

Search | Add | 2 | N.Y.C.K. | Nick Acquroff, Dominique Garrard | Acquroff & Garrard live close by in Rye, an hour down the south coast from Melbourne, Australia. They write songs together most weeks and record them on the floor boards that crack on an upright piano, two synthesisers and a recording device that Nick bought one summer during a failed undertaking in journalism. Some nights they make home-made pizza instead. In 2016, after break out single Decision gave them a national audience, the pair toured Australia with Amy Shark, Felix Reibl, and played major Metropolitan shows with Emma Louise, Dope Lemon, Mansionaire and others. They released their debut EP, Alive, in the same year (Through Mushroom Music) and played festivals around Australia, including Big Sound, New Years Eve on the Hill and Peninsula Picnic. In 2018 the band recorded their debut album and return in 2019 with debut single Wild Streak, premiering in 2019. |

In a first period their compositions were inspired by Jazz, Blues and Folk. But since 2018 BeDuet members began to compose in a new direction, where some compositions include improvisation, and others are short minimal cuts wich inspire retreat and contemplation. Therefor Sérgio and Nuno decide to record their first Álbum, called Marés Suaves, that means Smooth Tide, wich digital release whatever happens on November 2019. Meanwhile they played in some clubs, museums, cinema rooms and events, in Lisbon, Almada and Setúbal. Search | Add | 2 | The Skipton Brass Band | Skipton Brass form Yorkshire, UK, started from humble beginnings in the 1870’s as Jack Guy’s Skipton Mission Band, as a temperance organisation, and is now thought to be Skipton’s oldest secular musical organisation. Re-formed after World War I as Skipton Prize Band, the band enjoyed much contest success at Crystal Palace in the 1920’s and 1930’s under the direction of its most famous conductor, Fred Metcalfe. After difficulties in intervening years, the band forged close links with local schools in the 1970’s, producing a vigorous and thriving Senior and Youth Band which laid the foundations for its rise from Fourth Section, to Champion Section status between 1977 and 1989. Along the way, the band has been privileged to contest at many National Finals in such places as the Royal Albert Hall, the Cardiff International Arena and the Birmingham Symphony Hall and has also undertaken numerous broadcasts on television and radio. The band remains amateur despite its considerable success. Playing members receive no remuneration. The band’s success has been due to the hard work and commitment of its players and supporters as well as the continuing support of Skiptonians and local businesses.
