Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Bursledon is a little village just to the East of Southampton and the initial rehearsals were held in the local pub, "The Jolly Sailor". At that time most of the band lived in Bursledon, we played Village music, hence the name.

Search | Add | 2 | Mel Golding | Melanie Padron Golding | Singer-songwriter born in Loughborough UK to British and Spanish parents. Mel's roots are firmly entrenched in the two cultures. A mix of her youth was spent in England and the Canary Island, Tenerife. Tenerife was the springboard for her music career as she became one of the youngest public performers' during the mid-'80s on the island. Mel was discovered by acclaimed record producer and multi-platinum award winner Mike Myers who became her music mentor for the next decade. Mel captured the hearts of record producers Phil Ramone and Mike Appel in the USA furthering her professional development in the music industry. In 2003, she joined forces with Aswad's lead singer Brinsley Forde who took management and introduced Mel to songwriter-producer Tony Delaney where the album 'Miracle' was born. Years later, Mel joined a London-based rock band 'RIME' and worked with songwriter-producer George de Angelis who wrote and produced their single 'Go Forth And Multiply'. Mel has a twist to her story and is gaining interest globally from her podcast show 'Facing Mel's Music'. In this show, she interviews new and upcoming artists worldwide to explore their experiences in the music industry. Mel has written a book that reflects her emotional journey throughout the industry, she felt it important to highlight the harsh realities when trying to succeed in music along with the love for music and the need to look after mental health and spirituality. Mel finds writing very therapeutic and feels it is one of the most effective ways of expressing inner content. Many of her songs reflect this with honesty and tend to have a twist in their lyrical content. When Mel writes, she delves very deeply into the meaning and enjoys the process of producing several angles to the material. |

Blunted Force discovered his passion for good quality music early in his life after the german wall came down. The love for electronic music started in 1996, as he went with some friends to one of the early big technoraves in his hometown. There in between a few thousand wild dancing people, he had a mindblowing experience and the vision to start from this moment on his own electronic dancemusicproductions. Over the years, his own knowledge in sound-engineering, editing, and arranging the music, has grown steadily. With help of new techology and different hardware, he developed his own unique signature of modern Trancesound, that can take listeners into another world. Also he worked in close partnerships with well known musicians & vocalists to produce a number of amazing tracks in successful international cooperations around the globe* . Together with his brother in mind, Atomic Fu, he started playing live on stage in 2003. Since that time, he played as Liveact and Solo-DJ in different important Clubs & Locations in and around his own city and was official closing-act of the first peace-people-musicparade in Dresden. After all, he has produced eight own artist LPs, released numerous different EPs - as well as various remixes for lots of other musicians and friends. His songs were often played in different international radioshows & featured as track of the month. Openminded to new experiences & always pushing forward to new musical horizons, he also drops some really mindblowing FullOn&Psytrance as DJ IRAGON + in the fresh new Liveactproject with Atomic Fu as " NINJADROP " New releases coming soon! Stay tuned! (*worked with : Ilana Harkavy (USA) Sopheary (USA) Hannah Magenta (UK) Jay saunders (UK) Y.E.M. Search | Add | 2 | Den Bacchanaliska Kören I Par Bricole | Sweden's and the Nordic countries' oldest still active men's choir with about 60 singing members. DBK was founded in 1829 in connection with the unveiling of the Bellman bust at Djurgården on July 26, when the first appearance took place. Since then, the choir at the bust appears this day as part of a ceremony arranged by the Society Par Bricole, which Bellman himself was involved in founding in 1779. The choir also has many other engagements within and outside the Society, concerts and choir trips as well as private events. The choir's repertoire has traditionally placed its emphasis on Nordic choral poetry, not least C. M. Bellman's music, which is partly composed with a society in mind. Other pieces specially written for the Society are also performed every year. At external performances, there is both sacred and profane music with emphasis on the 19th century and early 20th century, but both modern and early music have occurred. The choir has standing performances at the Society's gatherings in Stockholm; in Jacobs Church, in the Bellman House, on Hasselbacken and at the Grand Hotel. In addition to private singing for various companies and organizations, the choir has had its own external concerts, including in Gustaf Vasa Church, the Concert Hall and the Berwald Hall. Concert tours are carried out at regular intervals and previous destinations include Malta, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, France, the USA and Japan.

In 1995, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. Born in Oklahoma, Franklin attended Fisk University and then Harvard University, receiving his doctorate in 1941. He was a professor at Howard University, and in 1956 was named to head the history department at Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York. Search | Add | 2 | Peter Casson | Peter Reginald Casson | Peter, a hypnotist (born Bridlington, Yorkshire, England 13 December 1921 died Wakefield, West Yorkshire 24 October 1995), served as a radar operator in the Royal Marines, during the Second World War, where he honed his hypnotic skills by performing for fellow servicemen. When an overbearing drill sergeant accused Casson of fakery, the young private soon had the entranced officer drilling through the mess hall, to the delight of the squaddies. In 1946 he was headlining at the Palladium; by 1948 he was among the first performers to have a one-man show, playing seven nights a week to full houses throughout the thriving variety circuit. In 1952, the BBC tried to film Peter Casson's remarkably successful stage show at their Alexandra Palace studio. It was to be a defining moment for the pioneering stage hypnotist, an opportunity for him to introduce his skills to a whole new medium. In the event, he proved to be too good. During filming he not only hypnotised his volunteers, but also inadvertently mesmerised several engineers watching on monitors in the control booth. Worried that Casson would have home viewers nodding off by their thousands, a skittish BBC abandoned the project. With the winding down of variety, as television became predominant, Casson built his own theatre night-club in Barnsley to foster stage talent as diverse as Paul Daniels and Sandie Shaw. He also continued to perform his "Hypnotic Phantasy", selling out cavernous venues such as New Theatre, Cardiff, and the Sunderland Empire to fanatically loyal audiences. A passionate traveller, he also played in countries such as Morocco, Iceland and America, as well as being a regular on the QE2. He was still going strong at the age of 70, when he gave a magnificent final performance at the London Palladium. |
