Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He joined the Regimental Band of the 13th/18th Royal Hussars (QMO) as a Band boy in Wolfenbuttel, Germany in 1946, and was described as an extremely popular young man and a superb musician. He was posted to the Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall in 1952 to attend a Bandmaster’s Course, and became Bandmaster of the Lancashire Fusiliers (1956 to 1964). He was then commissioned as Director of Music of the Alamein Staff Band of the Royal Tank Regiment, and remained in that post until 1970 when he became Director of Music of The Life Guards. Soon after arriving he was promoted to Major (DOM) and then became the Senior Director of Music, Household Cavalry. While with The Life Guards, he formed a record company called Fionmace, which was extremely successful until he sold the business in the late 1990s. He retired from the Army in 1984 and went to the Middle East as DOM of the Royal Oman Police Band where he was promoted to Colonel. Whilst in Oman he made his mark by designing and building an enormous School of Music for the use of over 200 bandsmen. He also significantly raised the standard of musicianship in the Omani Police Band which, when he first arrived, was very basic. Upon his retirement in 1995, he returned to England and spent his spare time teaching the piano and singing in his local church choir. He died on 16 February 2002, aged 71. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Classic The Fist | CLASSIC THE FIST is the acoustic punch against the professional indifference and for more ecstatic nonsense. So, while the techno scene is drowning behind their computer screens in the middle of 50 decibel and shitty 80/30 deals, CLASSIC THE FIST pushes the cat out of the bag with a big bash. TAKE CONTROL AGAIN. Go back to the things that really matter. Don’t take everything too seriously. Full focus on music. Take risks. No more moaning. Do it yourself. Take a stand. Yes or no? Improvisation rules! Perfection wastes action. Show your balls. Smoke, drink, everything. What do you really want? No risk, no fist! So take off your earplugs and get into the dual fistmania because those two techno grenades are taking back control. For many years they have been smashing their tracks into the clubs. Dirty, wild and misted by sweat. Yet meanwhile, the music around them became quieter, the light got brighter and the sweat dried. Promotional pictures got sharper, record sleeves sustainable, social media strategies more strategic. And the music? So so… … but wait, are you sure that is the right thing to say? Before you mention something like that you should take a close look at both sides and enter a dialog. It’s probably a good idea to reconsider altogether with a yogi chai so that nobody feels discriminated and we all stay socially equal. Absolutely everyone’s opinion should be taken into consideration….Fuck TV! Fuck radio! Fuck Yogis! Fuck everything! Buy the record! The design is a disaster. The Facebook page is a catastrophe. But who cares because the sound is hammering away everything. All the strength is put into the tracks, not into exercising disco muscles. Euphoria is sounding through the grooves and energy is smashing through the bass. The sweat is starting to drip again. Get rid of the paralysis, the madness starts now! Let’s go anal! Nice to meet you! Legal Note: CLASSIC THE FIST is uncompromisingly against vegan cat feeding and insistently for women who smile without a reason | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Markove | David Markov | Washington D.C American Hardstyle Producer and DJ Markove focuses on producing and mixing hardstyle using a unique blend of raw and euphoric. Whether with an uplifting melody or a punchy bassline, David “Markove” Markov is determined to establish a rare breed of creativity. Hardstyle represents an entire world for David to explore; one full of the melodies trance taught him to love and the powerful, more defined bass he has been yearning for. Hardstyle became a day and night passion following David’s discovery of the genre in high school. Being a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area has presented many obstacles for a genre newcomer. Hardstyle hasn’t reached the shores of the United States en masse yet, but David welcomes the challenge of helping hardstyle to spread amongst his fellow Americans. Markove is a play on the wording of David’s last name. Many people pronounce the name wrong, which led to Markove – a “proper” pronunciation of his last name. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Melting Clouds | Melting Clouds are trying not to limit themselves to any particular genre or style while constantly transforming. The reason is that the music they play goes beyond the threshold of 'just music', it has its own visual characters and philosophy which are entangled with other areas of art blurring the lines and united under the flag of Melting Clouds. As a result, one of the main goals is consolidation and synthesis of both musical palettes and various forms of art in order to create new vision of the process of creation. Also, one of the goals is to cooperate with people who have fresh ideas and the willingness to cooperate. | |

The project is notable for having developed [i]bomzh-grind[/i] ("hobo grindcore") term, which can be generally characterized as an acoustic form of noisecore, either with or without occasional instrumentation, and involving poor recording quality (cellphone AMR recorder quality as an instance). | Search | Add | 11 | Feenix13 | Debbie Griffith | Feenix 13 was one of the founder members of Spiral Tribe. She was a lynchpin of the sound system’s event organisation and played a vital role in the design and décor. Responsible for many of the later flyers and heavily involved in the conception of the event spaces, she helped define the ‘look’ of the sound system. When the Spirals travelled to Europe it was Feenix 13 who coined the word ‘Teknival’. A word which would become synonymous with the new underground movement. At the end of the 1990’s, she fulfilled a similar role in the Sound Conspiracy sound system and embraced video as a design tool. Since 2000 she has been the resident designer for the Audiotrix record label and has more recently been specializing in computer based digital imagery and animation, which she incorporates into her live VJ mixes. Today, Feenix 13 is SP23’s VJ and central to the graphic design team. Her digital remixes of archetypal imagery and mutation of symbolic themes has given SP23 its own, mysterious, visual atmosphere. |

He cooperated with various recording studios, like Logic Studios, Pixel Sound, Eclisse Studio, Stone Castle Studios, Psycho Studio, and Green Studio, covering multiple roles. Alfiero started as an engineering assistant and focused on Digital Editing, Digital Sound Design, Digital Post-Production, and Digital Mastering. He was one of the first in Italy to specialize in working on digital direct-to-disk systems such as Synclavier, Fairlight, Opus Lexicon and AMS Logic. Among Italian and international artists, he worked with Depeche Mode, Yes, Robert Palmer, Vasco Rossi, Franco Battiato, Fabrizio De Andrè, Paolo Conte, Jovanotti and many others. Unfortunately, in the 1980s and 1990s, Alfiero's work (Digital Editing, Digital Sound Design, Digital Post-Production, and Digital Mastering on direct-to-disk systems) was very often planned and performed at the last moment, when the booklet was already printed or in printing. For this reason, Alfiero doesn't appear in some album credits, even if he worked in the making. Alfiero retired from discography in 1998 and today is a real estate advisor and investor. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Melinda Johnstone | Back in 1981 a petite blue eyed blonde from Victoria's Gippsland area picked up a microphone for the first time and began belting out country music. The 14 year old showed plenty of potential. Less than a year later she won the inaugural Snowy River Talent Quest and Melinda Johnstone - The Girl From Snowy River, was on her way. Melinda released her first single in 1982 "Rocky Top/All I Have To Do Is Dream". A Custom Release, this was followed by her first album titled "The Girl From Snowy River" which contains 12 original songs on the Bunyip label. In 1987 Melinda signed a major recording contract with the then Bunyip Records (now Pinewood Records) in Sydney, the first album from this contract was released in 1988, titled "The Power Of Music". The first single released from "The Power Of Music" album in early 1989 was "Worth The Wait For Gold" and reached number 2 on the Australian Country Playlist. This was followed by another single lifted from "The Power Of Music" album, "Hitch A Ride" and reached number 4 in late 1989. With over 40 TV appearances between 1983 and 1990, tours to New Zealand, four to Tasmania, as well as countless appearances at Country Music Festivals across Australia, Melinda then took time out from her busy schedule to have a family and it was not until 1995 that we saw the release of her next album "Changes", which as the title suggests was a move away from her more traditional country roots towards pop country. Melinda has established herself as Pinewood Records' Number One female artist. But she is much more. She is a polished, versatile artist who is one of this country's leading female performers. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Ackim Simukonda | Ackim Simukonda (April 7, 1954 - 1999) was a Zambian singer, songwriter and musician who rose to prominence in the 1980s with a career that spanned into the 90s. Born in Kalulushi, Zambia, his early involvement in the music industry began in the early 1970s as a roadie for several prominent bands in the Copperbelt city of Kitwe, including the popular Zamrock group [a979286] (We Intend To Cause Havoc). In the late 1970's, Simukonda relocated to Luanshya, where he secured employment as an electrician in the mining sector. It was during this period that he co-founded the band "The Upstarts" alongside Lazzy Mwape and Kelvin Zimba and served as the group's lead guitarist and vocalist. While playing with the band, he met fellow musician/songwriter, [a4818929] who poached Simukonda to play with him in his band. Over the next few years, he spent some time overseas in the UK, returned to Zambia and played with a number of Zambian bands including briefly for WITCH. Simukonda eventually embarked on a successful solo career in the 1980s. He became a regular performer at several prominent Zambian venues and in 1985, gained national recognition by winning the "Golden Voice" competition at Moon City Nite Club in Lusaka. The victory led to an opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom to record his debut album, [r6897075]. His career spanned several decades and included the release of five studio albums and numerous singles. His final album, Bana Bandi, was recorded shortly before his passing in 1999. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Mohamed Marocain | Mohamed Hamadi | (1907-1973). |

| Search | Add | 11 | Michael R R Wilson | Michael R. Wilson | The smooth yet uniquely quirky sound that is: michael ЯR wilson Music has always been a part of Michael’s life in one form or another – from singing Blue Skies when cooking Yorkshire puddings in the kitchen, to breakdancing to one of the many 80’s hit musical creations, all the while embracing a diverse library of music and song writing through experience and expression. The results being rewarding and simultaneously addictive. Michael’s musical influences are vast and include Tom Petty, Prince, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Blue Rodeo, Supertramp and the less likely genres of classical music and old time country which ground his soul! Michael’s music style is reflective of his passion for music, life, love, and the freedom to create. Michael finds music to be an inspiration as he continues on the road of self-discovery and exploration with his guitar in hand. As an established Chef de cuisine who enjoys creating culinary delights, Michael began to dabble into the creative aspects of music. With a successful career and happy home life, Michael was looking for a new avenue to express himself. It started by picking up a guitar and signing casually with friends, learning new chords along the way! Fast forward a few years, and following his return to his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, music took a new hold of his soul. Developing his singer/songwriter skills, Michael grew as a musician and learnt to play drums, bass and piano. This lead to his interest in the recording and mixing aspects of producing songs, and he embraced the challenge of a home recording studio. Along the way, the want turned to need to progress, and so was born Supry Sound Productions. Since, more singles have been written, recorded, produced and mixed in this same space, many more instruments have joined the first guitar, and collaborations with other artists are on the horizon. |
