Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 15 | The Woodfalls Band | Vale Road, Woodfalls, Salisbury. Wiltshire. SP5 2LT Nationally, brass band enthusiasts have heard of The Woodfalls Band, but most are intrigued to know where they are situated. Woodfalls is a small village 9 miles South of Salisbury and just one mile from the beautiful New Forest. There are under 1000 people living in the village, but the enthusiasm for music is traditionally very high and musical talent is in abundance. The original idea to form a band at Woodfalls was by Charles and George Mitchell in 1874 at the foundation ceremony of the new Methodist Chapel. Soon, with John Green and other young men from the village they met to form the band, in fact most were from three families, the Greens, Warners and Mitchells. In the early days the members met as often as they could in the house of William Green and in the summer at the request of Mr. Mark Warner in the local chapel. George and Charles Mitchell gave the first music instruction. At first they could only master hymns and eventually attached themselves to the local “Band of Hope” organization, playing hymns at their meetings and for local school treats. The earliest recorded event was in 1882, when Captain Foster, of the Salvation Army was improperly imprisoned and on his release was marched through Salisbury to a tremendous reception by the Woodfalls Temperance Band. | |

| Search | Add | 15 | Gooloo | Doing doughnuts in the parking lot of noise rock, hardcore, metal, math rock, no wave, and suburban punk, mid-90s Chicago band gooloo were known for their spazzy live show punctuated by antisocial antics and an inability to tune their guitars with any urgency. Founded as an instrumental two-piece in 1994 by high school friends Andrew Coon (Quatre Tete) and Mark William Pearson (Neptune), they soon tapped local weirdo guitar champ Adam Covalsky (ROM), who in turn brought in boy genius Paul Medrano (ROM) on bass and the quartet was complete. They released a 7" and one full length CD entitled Monkey By Default, recorded by Chicago punk legend Chuck Uchida, via the short-lived-but-influential Boston gnarler label Super 8 Records. Now available again digitally via Wrong Whole Archival Bureau, the Welcome To Atlantis/Cut It Out 7" has been remixed from 8 track cassette by Mark William Pearson and Monkey By Default has been remastered, along with bonus tracks, from the original DAT masters by Scott Craggs of Old Colony Mastering. While not well celebrated, gooloo maniacally sputtered down a path not many bands were taking at the time and possibly influenced someone somewhere. Maybe. | |

Totora is a city and municipality of Bolivia, capital of the José Carrasco province in the department of Cochabamba, is located 142 km east of the city of Cochabamba, at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level. It is characterized by its buildings with a colonial and republican architecture, with its undulating roofs, where the movie "The Day the Silence Died" was filmed in 1998, when entering it is the first thing that impacts the visitor, from there important ones have also emerged intellectuals such as the writer Dr. Augusto Guzmán Martínez, Armando Soriano Badani and so many illustrious Toreños. There, precisely, the figure of Don Hernán Rivera Unzueta arises, who from a very young age had to work helping his mother for daily bread, without a formal education took advantage of his ability first, playing the harmonium, then with the piano and finally the accordion, was a music teacher since 1947, at the La Paz and Martin Mostajo school for girls in the city of Totora, after several years of experience as a teacher he decided to travel to the city of La Paz in search of of better opportunities. The 60s' opened the "Hernán Rivera Unzueta Accordion Academy", which operated on Ingavi street between Yana-cocha and Junín in the city of La Paz, half a block from Plaza Murillo, recorded 8 discs among small and LPs of unmistakable style, he had the only accordion that had come to Bolivia, with 185 blue bass Hohner brand, dedicating his successes to his beloved Totora whom he always carried in his heart, recording songs like: “Friend”, “Red Carnations” , "Curahuara de Carangas", "Decepción", "El minero", "Los pajarillos", "Noches de Sucre", "Tus miradas" and other songs, which are classic in the accordion performance of Don Hernán Rivera. Accordion teacher, composer and pedagogue, he founded the American School which to this day is still active, with primary and secondary cycles, then opened a private University having educated several generations of young people. Thanks to his vocation to musical art, he created the “National Piano Festival”. This event has been declared by law 4113 as Cultural Heritage of Bolivia, it is held annually in the town of Totora, a Festival that bears his name as a tribute to his meritorious career. Last year 2015 the XII version was held where pianists from all over the country attended, about 160 contestants participated, Master Rivera was decorated, with distinctions for Artistic and Cultural Merit, and was also declared "Favorite Son of Totora". Don Hernán Rivera Unzueta died on February 3, 2010 at the age of 80 in the city of Cochabamba. The Accordion has had important interpreters such as: Macario Pinto in Cbba., Víctor Hugo Zegada from the "Los Planetas" Ensemble, Dulfredo Peñaranda, Pepito Fernández and Oscar Rojas Caballero from the "Los Brillantes" ensemble, Hugo Daza, Jo-sé Barba del "Oriental Trio", Julio Rodrí-guez Berrios of "Los Ases Andinos". |

Founder of Magic Waves Internet Radio in 2006, then presenter of Magic Waves on Intergalactic FM since 2009. Notably put on a series of six Magic Waves Festivals in London, Berlin and The Hague between 2009 and 2016. Also co-founder of Cyber Dance Records in 2004 and Per Musica Ad Astra in 2016, and sole founder and head of the Magic Waves label and various other smaller DIY and sub-labels. James is also known for his extensive past DJ catalogue and performances around the world as Casionova, being one of the first DJs to initiate the Italo Disco Revival, before switching to doing ambient, soundtrack, experimental and IDM radio mixes exclusively in 2017. His experiments with sound began in the early 1990s making recordings at home and experimenting with drum machines, sampler and tape as well as his guitar and fx pedals, and he has produced ever since as wide a variety of music himself as he has played on the radio - from the Italo-Electro pseudonym Casionova to his Kosmsiche and Ambient alias 4-D Traveller, with many notable side-projects along the way including Planetary Technicians, Esper Connection, Celestial Mechanics, and various others. While the Casionova alias was retired from active duty in 2017 various edits have since appeared on labels like the cult Centre Neptune and the archival Italian label Giorgio Records. He currently goes mainly under the 4-D Traveller and Planetary Technicians names for electronic productions, and The Dusty Wizard for presenting radio and his lo-fi rock guitar work. James is known for his passionate independent anti-industry stance and belief in Undeground DIY music and Art ethics, and this can be seen in the large amounts of home-made tape releases he puts out. He is also a visual artist, painting or drawing many of his own sleeves.

| Search | Add | 15 | Drew "Ghosts" Davis | Drew "Ghosts" Davis is an American Industrial Noise musician. As someone with a deep history in the culture, he began making music at a young age under the name Confession 15, which later changed into his main project Lost In A World Of Ghosts, a name which was derived from a collection of lyrics from the Industrial outfit Nine Inch Nails. He also briefly had a Grind project under the name Hayfever which was incredibly short-lived. Although he had made a multitude of releases under Lost In A World Of Ghosts throughout 1995 - 2003, these recordings were never released to the public. In 2020, he befriended Experimental Industrial musician SinThya The Devil, in which they formed the Harsh Noise-Influenced Industrial outfit Velvet Leather Vamptoys. In May of 2021, Davis officially signed on to SinThya's independent label SinThya Music, where a multitude of select tracks from the previously unreleased Lost In A World Of Ghosts would be reworked and released as well as remastered under the label. | |

The album is mainly song based, built on keyboards and guitars, with Battiato singing in the best tracks Giorno d'estate and Nebbia, and seven of the 12 tracks on the LP composed by one Ed De Joy, who was, according to many sources, Franco Battiato himself. After a later single taken from the LP, Pirolli has stayed in the musical world as arranger and sound engineer. He is not to be confused with the similarly named drummer Roberto Genco that released a jazz-rock LP in 1977. |

| Search | Add | 14 | Denny Bellens | Denny Bellens | Denny Bellens aka Black Buddha or dBell, was born in the summer of 1980 in Bangkok, Thailand. He arrived in Belgium when he was 12 and continues to reside here, the place he is proud to call home. Music has been his passion since he was a child, he was attracted by two styles of music, The first one being, punk and the other, simply House. Already the young Buddha was talking enthusiastically about the desire to combine these two giants of music into one glorious mix. Just as an experiment, or maybe, just out of pure curiosity, it was to prove a turning point for the young Denny. However, To become member of the popular school groups, you had to have listened to one style of music only? This of course wasn't the written law, but the way he saw it he didn't have a choice. Denny would befriend all the musicians he could, in order to find the inspiration he so desperately needed, he would need to play by these rules. Pressure from his peers and the inability to make this choice meant that Denny was totally alone in this almost unheard of musical change, but he knew that it could change, and he would one day be the one to change the face of what we know as popular music and also to create diversity into what had become a segregated music policy. For him it was ok to be attracted by so many different styles of music and create some kind of crossover. This was the message he needed to share. However this would not prove to be easy and Denny would spend the next few years alone trying these new and radical ideas out in the privacy of his own small studio. It was after this, that he would become fascinated with Dance, soul, and mainstream pop, he started to hear the sound that he was searching for. When he was 15, he joined his brother and other friends as they went out to clubs. This atmosphere drew him even deeper toward House and Dance songs. From that moment, he decided to become DJ. A few years later, when he was 23, he bought a turntable from a friend. This was his real first step toward finally bringing his unique style of music to the masses. After a while, he got the break he needed an opportunity to become a DJ in Club Dodge. Denny enjoyed his small following of kids, who believed in what he was trying to do. His collection of vinyl's expanded very fast. At this time another club in the area 'Club Boccaccio' had organized a DJ Contest, Denny would not did only participate, but won this DJ Contest, practically sweeping all the dull and mundane competition away!! After winning this special event, he was contacted by Club Illusion and he became Resident DJ at Club DeLite. In 2008 he participated the Bonzai Reworx Contest. He didn't win this one, but his remix was officially released on Bonzai Reworx. One year later, his first EP was released on Decibel NYC. Denny was starting to realize his dream, and his following were growing even stronger, this was the start of his revolution! When Club DeLite finally closed there doors, due to whatever reason, he had more time to work on his own productions. Releasing his music this way was much harder, but he still continued. Not long ago, he contacted more active people in the industry and some interesting projects are in progress. His only goal is to release music he loves and spread his music, his style. |

März 1971 in Bad Sachsa, Germany) She studied in Berlin with Benno Stolzenberg and married eventually her second teacher Arthur Arndt. Making her debut at the Frankfurt opera house as Azucena in 1906, she became a regular member of the Berlin State Opera from 1907 until her retirement in 1944. She sang Amneris with Caruso in 1908 and appeared as Kostelnicka in the Berlin premiere of Janacek’s Jenufa. In 1913 she made a highly praised debut at the Metropolitan as Ortrud and was an admired Octavian in the first American performance of Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier. She took on most of the roles from Ernestine Schumann-Heink. Her Waltraute was praised as “one of the grand figures of the drama.” In 1914 she appeared in Toscanini’s revival of Weber’s Euryanthe, but on America’s entry into the war she was dismissed from the company and interned because of German-patriotic behaviour during a performance. She was forced to return to Germany where she resumed her career at the Berlin Opera and appeared regularly at the Zoppot Festival. Arndt-Ober retired in 1944.

| Search | Add | 14 | Mark Corrin | Mark Corrin | The solo project of Mark Corrin, Liverpool born, Manchester based writer, producer & radio broadcaster. Formerly know as Shirokuma, and as a member of Octobuse and Poppycock. Currently presents a weekly radio show for Salford City Radio 94.4FM. Also plays bass for Rose & The Diamond Hand. Has also previously collaborated with the likes of Can's Damo Suzuki, The Fall / Blue Orchid's Una Baines, Max Tundra and Andy Votel and assists with the running of Manchester's Valentine Records. The songs presented here are generally downtempo, melodic and experimental with surrealist lyrics, catchy melodies and short song lengths. The playful and varied musical backings are woven from electronic and organic sound sources and are influenced by psychedelia, world music, cinema and folk. For a bit of history…Mark Corrin's early demo CDRs as Shirokuma made him a regular favourite on John Peel’s BBC Radio 1 Show for the final five years of its broadcast (1999 – 2004). Rob Da Bank and FloMotion’s Nick Luscombe continue to be radio supporters, whilst Shirokuma was made single of the week by both Steve Lamacq and Phil Jupitus during their time at BBC 6 Music. A debut album “Secret Moves At The Midnight Chess Club” was released via Manchester label Faith & Hope records in 2005, which yielded a joint NME single of the week, “Moonlight In The Afternoon”. The track, which the paper curiously confessed “makes us want to have sex in dressing-up clothes”, was also remixed by Max Tundra (Domino Records) and Andy Votel (Twisted Nerve \ B-Music \ Finders Keepers). An EP on Twisted Nerve records came next, before Shirokuma began working with the Manchester electronic & future rock label Valentine Records. Mark Corrin is also very active on the Manchester underground live music scene. |

Being a mixture of British and Spanish descent, it could be said that Ed Flow has been nurtured by the best of both worlds in the Electronic music scene. Jesse Saunders wrote regarding one of Ed’s tracks; ‘Rain, is an exquisitely, beautiful production bringing sound effects, synthetics and hallowed voices to produce a soundscape unparalleled.’ Ed is currently re-launching his own label ‘Soultrade Records’, which will provide us with exquisite monthly releases starting from the month of October 2013. The first of these releases will be ‘Basic Element’ a progressive instrumental that will serve the appetites of both House and Breakbeat lovers alike. Following ‘Basic Element’, the next two releases include ‘A day In June’ as well as a re-release of Rain which will feature new remixes from the Soultrade label. All of the Soultrade Releases will be promoted via various DJ Pools as well as to a select number of EDM radio stations worldwide. Now based in Denmark, Ed Flow has been on the move between the sunny shores of the Canary Islands and Goa, India for the last four years. | Search | Add | 14 | Wasscass | Alexander Starnell | Wasscass (*1977) - also known as al cutter in the early days - is a DJ,producer and head of the label “Klangklar records” from Stuttgart, Germany. His motto until today: underground. Records from Tommi Stumpff, Nitzer Ebb, Front Line Assembly and cubic22 from Berlin introduced him into the world of electronic music. The era of EBM and Techno was born. While the Frontpage magazine promoted East Berlin’s Tekknozid parties, the acid house sound from clubs like Ufo, Walfisch or Tresor could not compete with Frankfurt’s trance sound from DJ Dag and Co that Wasscass saw so much more potential in. He bought his first turntables and mixer in 1992, kicking off his DJ career in August 1993 with his very own gig as al cutter in club Cindy in Tübingen. Wasscass started the evening with a massive 15 minute intro followed by a 6-hour gabba and hardcore set. Meeting Sven Väth in the early 90s in Stuttgart’s No. 1 techno club Oz opened the door for a gig at 1994’s Futuresonic party, where Wasscass performeda highly successful set with 4 decks simultaneously. Another milestone was about to follow in 1999, when the famous DJ and producer opened his first own club that was about to rule the nightlife in Southern Germany for the following years. After closing, Wasscass retired from DJing until 2007, coming back even bigger with numerous gigs around the world in Europe and the US. He showed his versatility at the 2008 trance convention in Brasil, marking another peak in his career when playing the kaZantip festival. Wasscass started producing own tracks in 1996, reflecting his passion for underground far from the standard stuff. While playing finest sounds in clubs and radio, he was however never determined to a certain genre.By now Wasscass is the mastermind behind several projects of all kinds of styles - melting synthi sounds with electro beats and all bearing his special signature: underground |

| Search | Add | 14 | Cayuga's Waiters | A Capella singing group. The Waiters formed as a subset of the Cornell University Glee Club in 1949 and debuted at the Glee Club's 1950 Junior Week concert. Although dressed in standard Glee Club attire (a tuxedo), they distinguished themselves from other Glee Club members by draping towels over their arms—a visual pun on their ensemble's name. Their repertoire included such popular songs as "Mood Indigo", "Mandy", "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye", and "Lord, If I Get My Ticket". By 1951, the group had become much in demand on campus for singing engagements, and they were also enthusiastically received by audiences when on tour with the Glee Club. In 1953, the Waiters conducted their first independent tour—to Bermuda's Harbor Castle Hotel—over the winter holidays, and in the same year, they recorded and cut their first record. In 1956, the Waiters decided they could no longer split their efforts between choral and small group singing and disassociated from the Glee Club. Both organizations went on to enjoy success throughout the remainder of the 20th century. The group was suspended and then "permanently dismissed" by Cornell in 2017 as a result of hazing incidents. | |

Bio je odbornik SNS-a u Grockoj od 2012 godine. “Iz čista mira, ubacio sam se u politiku. Politika me uopšte ne zanima, ali me zanima kultura. Međutim, pošto se ništa ne može učiniti bez politike, morao sam među političare. Ubeđen sam da mogu mnogo toga da uradim i unapredim na polju kulture, i zato sam apstinirao od muzike.” - rekao je Lugonjić jednom prilikom za portal Vesti. | Search | Add | 14 | Иван Жадан | Иван Данилович Жадан | Ukrainian, later American, tenor vocalist (born September 9, 1902, Lugansk, Ukraine – died February 15, 1995, St. John, Virgin Islands, USA). Born into a family of factory workers, Ivan Jadan learned the trade of blacksmith, but began singing in a church choir. During military service, he became the first singer of the regiment and joined a vocal group that performed operatic arias. In 1923, with a recommendation from Stalin's friend, Marshal Voroshilov, he was accepted into the Moscow Conservatory. Working as a blacksmith instructor at the air force academy to make ends meet, Jadan had his first chance to perform on the radio in 1926. A year later, he was accepted into the Bolshoi's operatic studio, then directed by Konstantin S. Stanislavky. In July 1928, he was hired by the Bolshoi Theater, first as singer of supporting roles, soon as a soloist, performing, for example, the "Song of the Indian Guest" in Rimsky-Korskov's opera "Sadko" and the role of Prince Sinodal in Anton Rubinstein's opera “Demon” (1929). Other leading roles include Werther in Jules Massenet's opera "Werther" and Lensky in Pyotr Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin." Jadan toured all over the Soviet Union. Between 1928 and 1937, he also recorded more than a dozen operatic arias and Russian romances for a number of Soviet labels. In 1935, he and several other Russian artists successfully toured Turkey where the first president of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, presented him with a golden cigarette case. In 1937, Jadan enjoyed a huge triumph as Lensky in Riga, Latvia. He extended his stay so that he could perform in "Faust" and "Rigoletto" as well, and the Soviet ambassador to Latvia arranged for him to have his costumes for these roles flown to Riga on a special plane. Jadan's subsequent request, however, to extend his stay even more so he could also perform in neighboring Estonia and Lithuania was denied. Jadan fell into disfavor with Stalin, was no longer invited to the Kremlin, received lowered concert wages, and was allowed to sing only in "Eugene Onegin" and "Demon" from then on. The final break, however, came in 1941. Jadan had evacuated his family from Moscow to his dacha in Manikhino, east of Leningrad, when the village was caught in the German advance. Facing certain deportation to a Gulag if he remained in Manikhino, Jadan and his family followed the German army's retreat. In 1943 and 1944, he made a few recordings for the German [l=Polydor] label in Berlin. In November 1944, he performed at a concert for the Russian Liberation Army that Nazi Germany had formed out of Soviet prisoners of war. After the war, Jadan and his family ended up as displaced persons in Offenbach/Main. In 1948, he managed to immigrate to the United States. He was unable, however, to resume his singing career. He gave a few concerts before mostly Russian audiences, including one in Carnegie Hall. Then he moved the warmer climate of Florida, where he, accompanied by pianist Adela H. Gonzmart, gave a series of concerts between 1952 and 1954. The concerts were recorded by the [l=Sadko] label, but a comeback eluded him. In 1955, he relocated to St. John in the Virgin Islands, where he worked as mason on one of the Rockefeller farms. He gave his last concert on St. John in January 1966. |
