Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | The Dae-B-Four | West London mod group active in the mid sixties. Disbanded early 1967. The following info sourced from https://garagehangover.com/daebfour/ Brothers Rex and Brian Brayley had first come to prominence with Tony Liddle & the Lads, a Hounslow band formed in 1962. The band also comprised singer Tony Liddle, bass player Roger Sidey and drummer Yan Kuttlevasher. In mid-1964, Sheffield drummer Kenny Slade replaced Kuttlevasher after playing with Dave Berry & The Cruisers. When Tony Liddle left soon after, the group became The Dae-b-Four. Not long after the name change, the musicians were joined by new lead singer Jimmy Trimmer. Then in early 1965, Bob Carpenter took over from Kenny Slade on drums. Slade joined The Sheffields and later worked with Joe Cocker. Carpenter didn’t stay very long, however, and Bobby Dean from rival Hounslow band, The Stringbeats took over that spring. Dean introduced his friend, singer Iain Pitwell, who took over from Jimmy Trimmer when he departed. However, Dean left in August 1965 to work with another local group, The Valkeries. Malcolm Randall from Rey Anton & The Peppermint Men took his place briefly. The line-up remained steady until November 1965 when John Kerrison came in on drums after playing in Germany with The Horizons. Kerrison had previously been a member of Frankie Reid & The Casuals and The Rocking Eccentrics. Malcolm Randall later reunited with Pitwell in The All Night Workers in October 1967 after working as a freelance drummer and The Missing Links in the interim. The new line up lasted until about August 1966 when Kerrison departed and subsequently joined Mick Liddell & Gli Atomi in Rome, Italy. The band recorded the track “La Mia Inghilterra”, after which Kerrison returned to the UK. By February 1967, Kerrison had linked up with Johnny Kidd’s former band, The Pirates. He then played with Episode Six and The Beachcombers. The Dae-b-Four carried on with another drummer. In March 1967, Rex Brayley struck gold when he joined The Love Affair. Iain Pitwell meanwhile reunited with Malcolm Randall in The All Night Workers in October 1967. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Monoss | Mathias Staab | Monoss is a trance music project by Mathias Staab, started in 2003. Mathias was born in 1983 and raised in the small town of Hettstedt in Germany. He’s now living in Leipzig. Mathias is a follower of electronic dance music since the early 90s, listened to euro dance music acts like „2 Unlimited“ and genres like 90s rave. Later in his adolescence he took notice of the trance music genre and preffered artists like ATB, Chicane or Ferry Corsten and listened to music from the legendary Love Parade and Dream Dance compilations. In this time he also started to play around with sample based music software on his PC and shared music online with people in communities full of electronic music freaks. Talking about music production and sharing music with these communities in the year 2000 he came in touch with Fruity Loops, now better known as FL Studio. In the following years Mathias pushed his music in communities like „mp3.de“ or „myownmusic.de“ and in social networks like MySpace. So he came in contact with more upcoming artists and also a few indie labels all across the globe. As a result he had his first releases in this time (Awaiting Sunrise, Invisible Signs and more). As time went by Mathias had to reduce frequency of putting out new stuff, but he still tries to take his time and create new tracks. In 2021 he started to work on a new album. With the beginning of 2023 Mathias decided to release new tracks again under his alias „Monoss“ and his joint venture „com:bined“ (with Lonesome Walker) on multiple platforms and social media channels. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lost It | from 2003 tour press sheet: "BIO: Lost It started bare bones in the fall of 2000 from the angst that arose in three Baltimore college kids, Dan Owen, Scott Nussman, and Nick Riddle. Dan and Scott had come from grindcore/hardcore punk backgrounds, and they were interested in starting a "powerviolence" band, a style that arose out of CA in the early 90s with bands like Spazz, Infest, and Crossed Out. Nick Riddle came from more of a garage/punk rock background and was interested in starting a fast/heavy hardcore punk band. At this point, LOST IT existed for no other purpose but to serve as an outlet... as it continues to serve us today. LOST IT recorded a 7-song demo in a beat-up practice room in 2001. Despite many show cancelations and dealing with shoddy people, LOST IT went on its first tour in the Summer of 2001 hitting such mentionable places as Richmond, Allentown, Columbus, Olean, and Charlottesville. The venture served us well and gave us a feel of the road. In the Summer of 2001, Nick left the band due to creative differences but still remained a close friend to date for both Dan and Scott. LOST IT recruited Rfus Platt, also a college student in Baltimore at the time, to play drums. During the fall of 2001, LOST IT became increasingly influenced by sludge, doom metal, and stoner rock. Yet coming from hardcore punk backgrounds, it took some adjusting to incorporate this new influence. In the Fall of 2001, LOST IT recorded a new six-song CD at Death Monkey Studios in Annapolis, MD. This record speaks to the self-hate, angst, aggression, depression, and contempt the band was experiencing in their personal lives. It was an escape from shitty relationships, broken friendships, tired dreams, and general stress and anxiety. In the Winter of 2001, LOST IT headed out on a 9-day East Coast tour hitting up such mentionable places as Greensboro, Kingsport, Atlanta, Burlington, and Philadelphia. On this tour, LOST IT incorporated the psychedelic noise of Maryland noisician, Dave Litz. This tour provided itself to be 10 times better than the previous tour both in terms of crowd reaction and the quality of the shows. 2002 was a quiet year for LOST IT as Dan Owen headed abroad for half a year to study in the United Kingdom. When he returned, the band reformed from hiatus and concentrated on songwriting. Throughout 2002, LOST IT experimented with their sound and songwriting process, and by the spring of 2003, the band was ready to head into the studio once again. This time LOST IT recorded in the homemade studio of Hugh McElroy, the lead vocalist and bassist in Dischord Records' own Black Eyes. The six songs LOST IT recorded ended up creating a stir in the Baltimore/DC area and more attention was drawn to the band. Soon after this recording, the band decided that they wanted to add more to their stage presence, so they enlisted Steven Kerchner, of local grind metal sensations, The Seventh Gate, to take on the responsibility of vocal duties. Steve's addition to the band added a new level to the band, and the live performances from his addition onwards have left audiences ecstatic and bewildered. LOST IT concentrates on primal live energy combined with a powerful, heavy sound that takes audiences off guard and leaves an impression. With their third winter tour, LOST IT is looking to have a good time while proving to southern audiences once again that their sound is like the rumbling of a withered beast rumbling through the rotten valleys of Virginia. LOST IT has played with/has upcoming shows with such bands as Floor, 16, Bongzilla, Weedeater, Fleshies, Kiss Of Death, Swarm Of The Lotus, Anodyne, KEN Mode, Municipal Waste, Tear It Up, An Albatross, Black Cross, Voorhees, Charm City Suicides, Backstabbers Inc., Sutek Conspiracy, Kiss The Cynic, Kill The Man Who Questions and more." Note: Bongzilla later canceled the previously mentioned show. Nate, who was not mentioned in the bio, was the original vocalist and appeared on the band's first demo. He left the band for personal reasons shortly prior to their first tour; leaving Dan and Scott to quickly write lyrics and adjust to having to perform vocal duties. The band played live the Third Rail Radio Program on WMUC 88.1 FM College Park, Maryland in late 2003. Scott left the band for personal reasons; making the last show of the band's 2003 Winter Tour his final show with the band. A friend of the band, Mike Romano, joined LOST IT on bass following Scott's departure. The band disbanded in 2004. Dan, Rufus, Dave, and Mike went on to form Vincent Black Shadow. Steve and Scott went on to form Vog. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Oriana Maria | Anamaria Valle | Sometime after the end of her marriage and musical partnership with [a3756], Anamaria Valle moved back to Brazil. In the beginning of 1970's, her musical taste had change, and she was no longer interested in the kind of music she did with Valle, [a1237687], and [a1194551]. For instance, a report of the newspaper Correio da Manhã (Rio de Janeiro) from April 14, 1970, says that she would return in September that year to the United States, in order to sing for [a168907] during a tour across American universities. During 1972 and 1973, still using Anamaria Valle as her artistic name, she sung for Rock Ebó, a band in the same vein of [a393406] that included [a533964] (later a member of [a972581], which also backed artists such as [a83763], [a83724], [a130782], [a2059261], [a83770], [a336605], and [a400277]) on guitars, [a6431823] on bass, [a755731] on percussion and [a2852674] (the original drummer for [a4257828], the band of Raul Seixas in the early days of his carrer) on drums. It was her first psychedelic rock band. After Rock Ebó ended in 1973, she decided to relaunch her musical career as “Oriana Maria”. Between September, 1973, and June, 1974, she travelled to Argentina, in order to record songs and to offer them to Record Companies. In those record sections, she was helped by [a2446178] and the musicians of [a2976163]. She even recorded a Portuguese version of [a1333226]’s classic “Jugo de Tomate”. She pressed a very small quantity of 7” EPs with three songs of those sections, titled Arembip I (allusive to the hippie community of Arembepe, located in Bahia, Brazil, where she lived). In October, 1974, a short story about her career moment was published on the Brazilian magazine “O Cruzeiro”. Although every effort was made to sign a contract with a Record Company, she did not make it. Still in 1978, it was possible to find reports on newspapers about her concerts under the alias of Oriana Maria. |

We Are Surrounded By Energy, Every Action, Seen Or Unseen Is Attended By A Stream Of Energy. Energy Is Material. There Is A Great Energy Accumulation Centre. This Knowledge Was Given To The First People, But Then Lost. Now People Call It “God”. “God” Is The Only Beginning Of All Existence. Everything Begins With Energy………… Hold My Hand, Feel The Pulse Of My Life, Follow Me, I Am Reaching The Highest Depths Of Celestial Nothingness………… A Body. What Runs This Perfect Biological Mechanism ? Energy. It Can Be Also Called “Soul”. When Body Is Dead, “Soul”, Which Is The Sense Of Consciousness, Starts The Journey In The Energy Dimensions. It Can Give Another Birth………… After That Everything Became Inverted, I Looked At Myself From Different Side, My Prayers Became Paths Of Energetic Connections.[/b]

After Babicci returned home the band continued under the leadership of Ted Case before splitting into two separate ensembles in 1936 – the Kit Kat Saxophone Rascals and Tom Katz Saxophone Six (with four English musicians).

| Search | Add | 3 | Red With Envy | Nothing shy of the hardest working band north of Sacramento, Red With Envy expresses the united soul of four modern day metal Mozarts. An unbridled stage persona has become the defining characteristic of RWE, coupled with catchy tunes and a relentless work ethic, RWE has exposed a refreshing angle to hard-rock. With personality coming from every aspect of their creations, these seasoned musicians are a highly motivated freight train of talent. Drummer, Nick Harris, creates a heavily aggressive beat that lifts the crowd into a disgruntled mix of feeling; even before the first words are spoken. It was the Beastie Boys with Bad Brains concert that turned Nick on to a career-oriented goal of performing in a band. With heavy influences from bands like the Deftones, Weezer, and Lagwagon, Nick is able to create a feel to his beat that is unmatched by anyone sharing the genre. With roots in Redding, California, he has kept his talent fairly local, perfecting his sound and brewing a rock that will one day shatter the glass eye of conservative America. On bass guitar, Randy rumbles the stage along with the internal bear of the audience into a melting pot of vibes. Millville, CA is the original home the bass player. With influences that include Sevendust, Tool, and Led Zeppelin, he knows exactly what type of flavor to add to every riff and passage in order to get the desired response from the audience. Being the last to join Red With Envy, he was the missing string on a now flawless fret board. Playing bass for eight years and constantly searching for knowledge, Randy will never be content with his skills; this promised to be one of his most colorful attributes for a future in professional entertainment. “Don’t talk like Robin Hood unless you can shoot a bow and arrow like him.” These are the words of Chavez, the vocal talent that stands as the front man for Red With Envy. His wildly individual personality is magnetic, as represented through the crowd’s response. Though he has a voice all his own, his stylistic goals are that of The Deftones, Tool, and The Used. Representing the voice of the band is always a difficult task; however, he takes on the mission with open arms and a smile on his face. Austin comes in with a slightly different musical approach and taste, adding a mixture of creative influences ranging from Sublime to Tool, and even Bob Marley. Eight years of experience is always a plus in establishing creative and musical intuition. Playing in bands like Flipside and Monkey Box, his onstage performance makes for a must see to believe show. His repertoire is overloaded with styles and personality making his sound so incredibly unique, there is only one place on earth to hear this mixture of tone, creativity, and inspiration: Red With Envy. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Eno Confusion | Justin Eno | Relentless is the term used to describe this [l=Detroit Techno Militia] 313 Recon Soldier. Currently residing in New England, this Memphis native has since established himself as one of the most technical Techno and true Detroit Electro producers in the underground scene, recently doing remixes for artists such as [a=Sandra Collins] on [l=The Seed] under the moniker Toil. Eno’s experience in the music industry began in the early 90s as a vocalist/Keyboardist in several successful theatrical Metal/Industrial groups. This evolved into Eno diving head first into EVERY ASPECT of the “music industry” such as managing and routing US & international tours for some of the 90s early 2000s underground bands that ended up becoming some of the “NU Metal” bands still on top of the world to this day. Jumping ahead to 2004, Eno began to use the equipment and knowledge he gained to focus more on creating and promoting Techno and true Electro with others to host his own weekly and monthly events, and involvement in larger ones, hosting stages at small and large festivals all over the states. His relentlessness as a producer/DJ has enabled him to make many accomplishments, which include becoming the southern tri state and New England manager of the world wide Detroit based collective [l=Bang Tech 12] (which has hosted the official Movement (DEMF) preparty for over 20 years), earning him the title of Detroit Techno Militia 313 Recon Soldier, all while holding a residency on (the internet's #1 techno station) FNOOB Techno Radio. He has reached the Beatport top 10 on numerous occasions, both independently & with friend DJ Mary Jane as the hard techno duo titled TOIL. Needless to say, Eno shows no signs of stopping! |

| Search | Add | 3 | Thula Sizwe : The Group Zulu | The South African group Thula Sizwe is the 10-man Zulu singing and dancing troop. The group comes from Soshanguve Township in Gauteng Province near Pretoria, South Africa. Thula Sizwe’s leader, Jabulani Abel Dlamini, comes from a family of musicians, speaks 9 of his country’s 11 official languages. Thula Sizwe sing in the rhythmic, harmonious Isicathamiya style. The group’s call and response acappella style, from the deepest bass to the highest of tenors. Is accompanied by two African drums and the singers’ stomping feet and clapping hands. The style evolved from tribal performance during the last century when men left their rural homelands to find work in mines and cities and sang to entertain each other. The name means “walk softly.” They sing to praise God, celebrate life, tell stories and scare demons. The name “Thula Sizwe” means “Hush and Listen.” They started singing in the 1980s while still in high school at a time when South Africa was still under apartheid. The group, all of whose members are black, needed special permission to sing together. “Music is our job. It is our daily bread,” said Alfred Letsoalo, one of the group’s two drummers, when asked if members worked at other jobs at home in South Africa, where unemployment is high. The members are: Abel Dlamini, Jackson Mawela, Paul Ramafalo, Nicholas Lenkwati, Alfred Letsoalo, Jonathan Mabuya, Johannes Magana, Moshesh Makwetsa, Shadrack Mgiba, Judas Mabuya. | |
