Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His involvement was short lived as he died on the 14 December 1982 and his family inherited the band. However due to problems with the company in June 1986 they decided that funding would cease and a new sponsor had to be found. In July 1986 the band accepted sponsorship from the Britannia Building Society becoming the Britannia Building Society Foden Band (officially from December 3, 1987). Search | Add | 3 | Lou Rose | Bred in the streets of Oakland - California, Lou Rose inherited a unique swag, which is translated to his deep passion for music. Lou Rose at 12 years old was strongly influenced by many artists from all types of genres throughout different generations including urban artists/groups and lyricists such as the late Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Too Short, Three 6 Mafia, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx, New Edition, Guy, Jackson 5 just to name a few. However, it was not until he partnered up with a group of friends as a rap rookie in the late 1990’s that he finally got to showcase his rap skills which helped spawned his creativity in Hip Hop and R&B/Rap and continue to pursue his addiction for music. While never giving up on the American Dream, the young rapper then delivered his first local club hit track “Long Island Ice Tea” in summer of 2006 and composed numerous mix tapes. Late summer of 2009, he then dropped his debut album “Evolution” which gained underground access to help reach his first major music milestone. April 2011, he then dropped “FREEWORLD” with guest on Over Night Celebrity stating the album as “..Lou Rose is the new bay sound!” while later releasing “Color Me Bad” in September 2011 and is currently working on another album titled, “Love & Loyalty” which will release some time early in the new year. As CEO and founder of Global 1 Music Group, the young entrepreneur successfully bridges an exclusive deal with UrbanLife and AWAL Distribution with one goal in mind, to deliver his music across the globe.

Search | Add | 3 | Funkyard Warriors | Raul R., Roman Zaragoza | Funkyard Warriors began producing music in 1998 out of the San Fernando Valley, Southern California, USA. They first started as a duo with djelert1 and Roman Zaragoza collaborating a more eclectic funky but a bit dark kinda styles of breakbeat/early 90's hardcore break styles. Finding loopholes whenever possible to work in old school hip hop beats and vocal samples, all the while creating their own personalized electronic sound. Unfortunately Roman Zaragoza left the duo in early 2001. However djelert1, aka elertfunk, aka dj elert, will remain as sole survivor of the Funkyard Warriors, with new and also some revised work of some older unreleased material. So keep a lookout for new Funkyard Warriors material to be released later this year and also listen to resident "dj elert" on ustream.tv/channel/redlab-radio on certain friday nights from 7:30pm-1:00am PST. |

Search | Add | 3 | Jhyka | Since 2001 DJ Jhyka (Will Calkins) has been spinning techno, drum'n'bass and dubstep at clubs, raves, private parties and events such as the Electric Forest. Although rooted in techno, Jhyka has had a diverse musical history. From performing in punk bands through the 1990's - to writing his own scores for his films, to sound checking for big name national blues bands. Consistently involved in various musical projects, Jhyka would still make time for recording dark experimental genre-defying beats and soundscapes under the alias "Kitl Pun". This is where the self-taught producer really started to figure out how to build increasingly complex tracks, which became the stepping stones into the world of techno and dubstep.

Search | Add | 3 | Indephums | Indephums | 𝖎𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖕𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖘 was formed last June 2005 by Ryan & Renan Cuizon in Pardo Cebu, Philippines. They started out as grunge and heavy rock cover band. Later that same year in October, Raymond was recruited by the band as their new vocalist and they’ve decided to do original materials with different types of influences in music. December 2005, the band released their first EP with 5 songs independently & the first single "Hukom" made its way to the airwaves of now-defunct SMASH Fm 93.1 Cebu. Since then, Indephums has been performing numerous gigs around Cebu and its neighboring places in the Visayas from bars to outdoor events. Their notable tour was in Manila in November 2008 during the Red Horse Muziklaban. They were the area champions in the Visayas Region where they made it to the grand finals and played alongside OPM (Original Pinoy Music) top acts including their hero Sepultura. Band Name: The name of the band is a portmanteau of the words Independent and Human. Ryan added “s” at the end of the combined words then became INDEPHUMS. Pronounced as "-INDE -FAMZ". |

Search | Add | 3 | Jerry McCann | Jerry McCann has been playing music professionally since he started his first band in junior high. The Tridents specialized in rhythm-and-blues, soul, and later on, surf music. There was no regular singer, but sometimes singers would sit in if the pay was right. Jerry played with The Tridents up through his early high school years, when the success of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones made it, Jerry formed a new band, The Orfuns, and became a lead singer in addition to carrying the lead on guitar. The Orfuns played their way into an option agreement with White Whale Records in Los Angeles, and several demos the band submitted to the label in 1965 nearly got them a record contract. They had a handful of original songs written by Jerry. When White Whale declined to pick-up their option and offer them a contract, the band broke up. After the breakup of The Orfuns, Jerry joined with four other popular musicians to form Framework including members of The Centaurs, a mid-60s San Diego band, contemporaries of The Orfuns. Framework recorded several successful singles and one complete album, and they were a stable live performance group in San Diego, opening concerts at the old Sand Diego stadium for such names as The Birds, Frank Zappa, The Moody Blues, Poco, Chicago, Steve Miller, Santana, and The Grateful Dead. In 1971, Jerry moved to San Francisco, where he released an album on Elektra with a group of musicians with whom he had done a couple of gigs in the mid 60s. The album caused some legal wrangles with the record company, who was not quite ready for an album called "Formerly Anthrax." The band's sound was quite different from that of Framework, a jazz-rock sound with classical overtones that wasn't easily danceable. Jerry remembers that the most frequent comment he heard from listeners about the new sound was, "Interesting." In 1972, Jerry left San Francisco and the crew of Formerly Anthrax and took a job in Los Angeles with Elektra. Shortly after that, Jerry returned to the San Diego area with the intention of getting out the biz. After only a few weeks off, however, he was talked into sitting-in with some friends who had a regular gig at the The Albatross. Jerry was added as a regular member of than band, which was called Nova. Shortly after that, Jerry decided that he would rather play under his own name. He has been playing as The Jerry McCann Band ever since and continues to regularly perform live throughout San Diego County.

Search | Add | 3 | Mister Drey | Born and raised in the outskirts of Bologna (Granarolo), Mr. Drey was, (and it's a pity when this is not remembered), an enfant prodige of the teen punk scene (with No Hope) and with the ska/reggae/high school rocksteady (Urka, Explanation of Palmas). The notoriety of these bands brought him no lucky occasions nor any good. Gradually isolating himself from the musical scenes of the time (due to continuous inevitable and urgent approaches to the revolutionary theory), he became uninterested in the musical production until the fortuitous listening (on night-time local radio stations) to avantguarde sounds, appreciated especially for their hypnotic power. This led him to the first autonomous composition experiments, resulting in various half hour simil-ambient composition cassetes of which no one will ever know anything about. One of these is another young granarolese outsider, Mattia (now the owner of Niggaville), with whom home recordings are started to pass the time, and which will introduce him to one of the first formations of SLP, period which he practically doesn't remember at all. After having again disappeared due to trying to live as Theodore Kaczynski, he accidentally resumes touch with SLP and begins rehearsing with them at the XM24 test room. There will also be a parallel and brief (but magical) intermission with Dadatzara Kamagauna ( together with the already known Mattia and with Davide, the current SLP bass player). SLP will move ever so fast towards the making of Studio Album, which will see him engaged behind the skins. But a little after this seminal recording, he again slowly disappears (together with Derek Dick Decio) to try to live as William Burroughs. Discouraged and semi-isolated he again begins working on his own material and discovers the use of the laptop and of Audacity, which will bring him to sporadic and expected imitations of Christian Fennesz. Resuming touch with SLP he doesn't fortify his position in the band rather an alliance on higher theoretical positions almost never openly expressed. He no longer plays with SLP but he collaborates and his on friendly terms with them. He produces Derek Dick Decio's first disc and is part of Achievements. He likes melody, the beautiful one (or the stretched one) and only operates in this view. He would like to be like Fennesz and Tarentel together, but at the end he makes music only to learn how to better use the softwares and to be able to delete the pieces when he no longer likes them, that is after little time.

Search | Add | 3 | Thee Creepfreaks | Thee Creepfreaks are a psychobilly trio from London, combining up-tempo drumbeats, loud dirty guitar and demonic vocals. In the summer of 2012 Peter (ex-Nocturnal Teds/ Miniskirt Blues) dusted off his rockin’ guitar and called double bass player Anthony and they started starting rehearsing and stringing together a few tracks and after a few different drummers they found the bone rattling beats of Jeremy (Devil Crockett). After Anthony left the country we have hooked up with our new bass player Ash and are roaring and ready to go again…. Since their first gig at The Klub in Camden, they’ve been playing regularly in London supporting bands like Mad Sin, Tall Boys, Demented are Go and many others. With a love of horror, armed with macabre lyrics and a view of the world in demise, these psycho love children of Lemmy and Elvis will get the pit going and have you howling at the moon until the early morning light.

Search | Add | 3 | Nicolas Ossorguine | Николай Михайлович Осоргин | Nicolas Ossorgin (1924-2014), professor at the Theological Institute of Saint-Serge and choirmaster of the parish church of Saint-Serge-de-Radonezh in Paris. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Nicolas Osorgin's whole life was connected with the estate at 93 rue de Crime, better known under the Russian name "Sergius Compound" ("compound" or "Saint-Serge's monastery"), which was transferred to him during his purchases, in 1924, by Metropolitan Evlogii. Nicolas Ossorgin was the second son of [a3709299] (1887–1950), a former officer in the cuirassier regiment of the Empress and marshal of the Kaluga nobility, and Countess Helene Muravieva-Vilenskaya (1893–1968). His parents emigrated after the Russian Revolution and the defeat of the White armies in the Crimea, first to Constantinople, then to Germany, and finally to Paris. On July 18, 1924 (on the day of the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh according to the Julian calendar), Michel Ossorgin, on behalf of Metropolitan Evlog, acquired from public auction on behalf of the Metropolitan, property at 93 Crime Street, in Paris. |
