Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | ForTheWhile | ForTheWhile was a post-hardcore band from Canton, Ohio, United States. They put out an album called Dear Friends and an EP called Dudemanbro. A unique, experimental mixture of post-hardcore with indie undertones. Members: Nick Sayre - Vocals/Guitar Nathan Kaufman - Unclean Vocals/Keys/Synth Aaron Troyer - Lead Guitar Matthew Thompson - Bass Tony Saffell - Drums Ian Baldwin - Drums Brent Miller - Vocals/Guitar Ben Roth - Drums Discography: 2009 - Dudemanbro 2008 - Dear Friends From their Myspace: "We've gone through two member change recently, which is not holding us back. While we love Brent and will miss him, we are excited for what our new singer (clean singing, our screams are still coming from Nate) Nick will be able to do for us. Ian our new drum is energetic, creative, and has much to bring to our group. In these two years, we have managed to start to leave a mark on this world's over saturated music scene. We have been played on RadioU's hardcore show and made the top ten most requested songs on that show, we played in front of over a thousand people at ROCCfest '08, we are gearing up to play Icthus, Cornerstone and preparing for our first tour." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Jono Heyes | The musical tapestry of Jono Heyes’s debut album Le Fisherboy is real eye opener for world music lovers. A unique blend that embodies the raw duende of flamenco, the rhythmic syncopation of West Africa, the modal depth of arabian North Africa and the subtle and playful grooves of South America. Heyes’s lyrics are direct, poetic and political aiming at the global, environmental and social issues we currently face. Above all it is imbued with a sense of urgency and a voice of many cultures. Hold on tight, sit back and enjoy a magic carpet ride across the world. Jono Heyes grew up in an old goldmining village called Livingstone, situated in the foothills of North Otago in the South Island of Aotearoa (New Zealand). When he was seventeen Jono began teaching himself on an old guitar that was gathering dust behind a couch and had only two strings left. Little by little he found his voice and has since added hundreds of sets of strings to his guitar. Over the last 17 years he has crafted his own language drawing from an array of world music cultures, defying any attempts to be placed in one genre. The result is his own unique blend of world music that is an urgent call for ecological, social and cross cultural understanding. In 2007, Jono Bono formed his world music group Mama Yeva in the South Island city of Dunedin and the first of hundreds of gigs was part of the international appeal by Amnesty International for the release of Burmese leader Aung San Suu Kyi. This in many ways set the tone for the group’s focus. For the last 7 years he has performed in Mama Yeva with over 50 different musicians from a dozen or more countries. They have performed at venues and festivals that promote ecological and social justice in New Zealand, Ireland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Heyes's debut album The Fisherboy features the special contribution of Mama Yeva members including: triple Emmy nominee Trevor Coleman, gracing the album with soulful trumpet, melodicas and basslines; Beata Bocek from the Czech Republic singing backing vocals on The Fisherboy; AJ Hickling mastering and backing vocals on No tengo Pais, and Frenchman Edouard Heillbronn playing bass on Hungry Little Dog. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Stefan Themerson | Polish experimental filmmaker, children's writer, poet, publisher, composer and philosopher (25 January 1910, Płock, Russian Empire — 6 September 1988, London, UK). Stefan Themerson invented semantic poetry and wrote in English, Dutch and Polish languages. He worked in a lifelong artistic partnership with [a=Franciszka Themerson] (1907—1988); their "husband & wife" duo is widely regarded among the pioneers of avant-garde cinema in Poland and Europe's most active proponents of surrealism at the time. Stefan Themerson was born in the Polish-speaking part of the Russian Empire. During World War I, his father served as a medical officer in Tsar's army, and Themersons constantly relocated, living in Riga, Saint Petersburg and Velikiye Luki. In 1918, the family returned to their hometown Płock, which became part of independent Poland. Stefan attended the Władysław Jagiełło Gymnasium, where he began photographing and built his first radio receiver. In 1928, Themerson enrolled at Warsaw University to study physics; after one year, he transferred to Warsaw Polytechnic and switched to architecture. Stefan never excelled academically, dedicating most of his time to photography, art and writing. In 1929, he met an art student, Franciszka Weinles, and they married two years later. Between 1931 and 35, Themersons lived and worked in Warsaw. Stefan wrote for various periodicals and published ten critically-acclaimed children's books illustrated by Franciszka. He also began experimenting with "photograms" (a type of photography popularized by [a=Man Ray], where images are produced without the camera by directly exposing objects on light-sensitive paper). In Warsaw, Stefan Themerson directed five short films, co-produced and co-written with Franciszka, including Apteka (1930), Europa (1931–32) based on [a=Anatol Stern]'s poem, Drobiazg Melodyjny (33), or "Musical Moment," and Zwarcie (35), "Short Circuit." They are widely regarded among the earliest examples of Polish avant-garde cinema (alongside works of [a=J.M. Brzeski] and a few other filmmakers). In 1935, Themersons established an artist-run cooperative, Spółdzielnia Autorów Filmowych, which united several local filmmakers. Most of Themerson's early films were lost in Paris during WWII; however, he later published Europa script illustrated by surviving stills and photos. In 1936 and 37, Stefan and Francizska traveled to Paris and London, where they befriended [a=László Moholy-Nagy] and other experimental artists and assembled a program of French and English avant-garde films to screen in Warsaw. In 1939, as World War II began, they both enlisted: Stefan fought with joint troops in Western France, while Franciszka served as a cartographer for the Polish Army, first in Paris and later in London, where they reunited closer to the war's end. In 1944, Themersons moved to Maida Vale in West London, where they permanently resided. In subsequent years, Stefan was associated with [a=Kurt Schwitters], whom he met at PEN International's 300th-anniversary celebration of Milton's Areopagitica and experimental poet and publisher [a=Bob Cobbing] who lived nearby in Maida Vale, among others. | |

The band released their first EP titled "No Walk Ups, Just Walk Outs." The band members on that EP were Eva Blackmer-Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Jason Reigle-Lead Guitar/Bass, JR Cook-Drums/Backing Vocals, and Ed Stachyra-Bass on "Girl Unknown". The album was recorded and mastered by Kevin Johnston at Orca Sounds Studio in Baltimore, MD and is available on iTunes, CDbaby, and in traditional CD format. The single "Vienna" was Recorded and mastered by Kevin Johnston at Orca Sounds Studio in Baltimore, MD. The members on the single "Vienna" were Eva Blackmer-Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Jason Reigle-Lead Guitar, John Martinez-Drums, and Charles Schuricht-Bass. | |
