Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Colcheias Confusas | Formed by Alexandre Ferro ( guitars, keyboards and vocals ) and Érico Barbeitos ( vocals and bass ), the Colcheias Confusas performs a work focused on pop songs. Rock, reggae, funk, mingle and have no space in the Colcheias' sound. His lyrics portray the day-to-day of his components, bringing humorous hints to his themes. Without bothering with fads and styles, The duo's concern is to compose songs in which lyrics and melody can somehow "touch" people Beatles, the Brazilian Rock from the 80's and 90's are some influences of the band, which unites in their repertoire from heavy .. to children's songs !!! | Search | Add | 2 | Chris Lowell | Chris Lowell’s hypnotic, organically textured blend of house and techno carries with it the collective influence of the deep and melodic sounds of Detroit. With an impressive catalog of releases including a spot on the legendary Movement Detroit Compilation, he discovered dance music in the late 90’s - one of the zeniths of the culture – in its storied birthplace, Belleville, Michigan. Chris’s music bears the hallmarks of Detroit’s legendary sound but also the sonic patchwork of his youth: Jazz, Motown, psychedelic rock, and 90’s punk rock. A diverse and dynamic musician, Chris has worked on all sides of the industry and brings an exceptional and historic perspective to everything he touches. A third-generation musician, he picked up saxophone and drums early in life. But he traded them in for a dirt bike as it appeared, he had a bright future in racing motocross ahead. Those plans were derailed in 1999 by a tragic racing accident. During his recovery a bright spot appeared when he discovered the rave movement, turntablism and deejaying. He immersed himself in the culture and soon rediscovered his love for creating music. The DIY spirit of dance music’s earliest innovators ran deep in Chris. As a son of an automotive industry electrical engineer, he began to tinker and solder together his own versions of classic drum machines and synths. As he learned to write dance floor moving beats, Chris also amassed an arsenal of kit. In 2012 he left his studio in Michigan behind for a fresh start in Brisbane, Australia. What he hasn’t left behind is his love for dance music. He continues to rock dance floors regularly and has quickly created a space for himself in the competitive Australian house and techno scene. His work with Let’s Get Minimal, IWTFA and local clubs has seen him light up the decks alongside such luminaries as Ray Kajioka, Tiefschwarz and Enrico Sangiuliano. | |
| Search | Add | 2 | Teichmann + Soehne | Andi Teichmann, Hannes Teichmann, Uli Teichmann | Teichmann + Soehne's »Flows« is not so much the result of a collaborative process as it is a process in itself. Over the course of nine pieces, the [a6643]—[a38346] and [a30498]—and their father [a388396] repeatedly find common ground between the very different musical styles, sound aesthetics, and subcultural codes they have internalised throughout their lives. The source material out of which the album evolved was culled from several recordings of rehearsal sessions in preparation for the trio's concerts that took place between the years 2012 and 2022. The three added only a few overdubs to those recordings but edited them rigorously to both preserve and transform the spirit of their unlikely collaboration. The combination of Uli's background as a versatile jazz artist and multi-instrumentalist with his sons' penchant for dub techniques, modular synthesis, and live sampling as well as their interest in electronic dance music take on ever-different shapes. [b]»Flows« released on the occasion of Uli's 80th birthday, is as joyful, lively and free-spirited as its makers.[/b] |

At the age of 13 he discovered the passion for DJing and clubbing, but the real turning point came in the summer of 2009 during a travel to Ibiza, where he remained for three years, and which changed his life forever. He has joined several Legends of the music industry, just to name a few, Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega and Marcel Dettmann, with whom he established a relationship of deep friendship and subsequently also collaboration, mentorship and a source of great human and musical inspiration. From 2009 to 2011 he played in the “Terrace” of Pacha in Ibiza. Since 2012 he participated and performed as an official artist at the ADE Amsterdam Dance Event, the most important conference in the world music business, where he presented his music. In 2015 he played at the famous StreetParade in Zurich (Switzerland). In 2017 he began traveling globally, leaving European borders for the first time, for his first “America & Europa World Tour”, which had its debut in New York, performing at parties and in the most important clubs of the Big Apple such as Brooklyn's Output (Voted by Mixmag as the best club in the world in 2017), Cielo in Manhattan (Historic Club and one of the most influential of the New York underground scene), and then also Panther Room, Halcyon, LP'N'Harmony, etc. 2023 will see him engaged in his first tour of South America, where he will perform in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil. As a producer he was ghost producer for many artists of the house and techno scene, also taking care of the mixing and mastering process. Furthermore he has released productions on labels such as: Balance Recordings, Purple Music, Vialocal, etc. working for artists such as Chez Damier (Legend of house music and techno, as well as co-founder together with Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson of the Music Institute of Detroit, home of the new Techno scene), Jamie Lewis (producer of the famous rock star Prince), Toto Chiavetta (Diynamic, Innervisions, Yoruba records), and the American singers Michelle Weeks and Darryl D'Bonneau. He has currently released his EP "Cantico" in vinyl only mode on the historic Chicago label Balance Recordings, a sublabel of Legendary Prescription Records, the label founded by Ron Trent and Chez Damier in the early '90s, which defined the status of the Deep House sound and considered as the major influence in the underground scene. Always attentive to modern and contemporary sounds, he tries to reconcile them with his old school background, ranging from intricate atmospheres and black grooves to the most hypnotic deep, through purely ethnic rhythms, until he reaches the depths of electronica and techno. | |
