Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Brianne Curran | is an improvising violinist from Sydney, Australia currently living in Berlin (since 2015). Having played the instrument since the age of 3, she has a background in numerous musical fields but her focus is on improvised music and its tangeants. Relationship between artist, environment and audience is of major interest in her approach to music making and its developments. Also of interest is how to break the box of ‘the violinist’. From 2004 she lived in the ACT and then the Blue Mountains in NSW. During this time she focused herself out in the Australian bush often in isolation, exploring ways to express and connect with the surrounding landscape, the moment, and space through music. She returned to her home town to complete her Bachelor Degree in Music (performance) as a scholarship holder in 2008 (ANU/AIM). Back in Sydney, Brianne got in touch with projects such as the Splinter Orchestra and the Nownow festival, initiatives founded by double bassist Clayton Thomas. For 6 years she was band leader and manager of world/jazz quintet Takadimi founded in 2009. The band toured extensively throughout NSW and the East Coast of Australia, and released their debut album New Common Sense through MGM in 2011. The group gained widespread recognition throughout Australia via the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and numerous other radio stations and press around the country, such as national newspaper The Australian. Brianne’s teachers have been Mr Yasuki Nakamura, Janet Davies, Jane Brownlee, Chris Duncan, Shi Yuan Jur, Shaykh Ibrahim Al Ansari, Adrian Keating, and Greg Coffin. Within Australia, she has performed at numerous festivals including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival (VIC), National Folk Festival Australia (ACT), Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Illawarra Folk Festival (TAS), Cygnet Folk Festival (TAS), Peak Festival (NSW snowfields), and most recently with musicians such as Clayton Thomas, Mary Rapp, and also Alex Nowitz and Sophia Brous at the Nownow Festival in Sydney (NSW) last year. Being only a newcomer on the Europe scene, she has already toured numerous times through Poland and Germany (Berlin, Leipzig). Currently she performs regularly with the Krakow Improvisers Orchestra, and also with numerous musicians in different combinations in the Berlin improvised scene. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Kerri Wells | Suzanne Rhatigan | Irish singer/songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and vocalist Suzanne Rhatigan was raised in Dublin, but moved to London in the early '80s, where she began to do session vocal work for record producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman. After teaching herself piano and beginning to compose her own songs, Rhatigan attracted a manager and a publisher, and continued to try to pin down a record deal through the late '80s; when a friend played her tape for executives at Imago, her career was launched. Rhatigan chose Fred Maher to produce To Hell with Love, her bluesy 1992 debut that included guest appearances from the likes of keyboardist Bernie Worrell and singer/songwriter Matthew Sweet (who played bass). However, Imago folded shortly after the album's release, and her career stalled. Four years later, Rhatigan resurfaced with the LP Late Developer. In 1998 she released the EP Big Stick on her own Cushy Productions imprint. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Art of Beatbox | Artur Balsam | The artist “Art of Beatbox” from Hamburg shows with his music that beatbox is more than hip-hop. The artist whose family has a big musical background developed at an early age a wide range of musical preferences which are reflected in his music today. With his versatile songs he wants to show the people that beatbox music can also be suitable for radio play. He himself describes his songs as a “reflection of his own specific musical habits”. This way you can find in addition to the typical hip-hop sounds also influences from jazz, latin, house, drum & bass all the way to classical music and metal. In contrast to other beatbox producers Art concentrates more on the drum part and utilizes his voice moreover as attendance. In the year of 1998 Art had his first contact with beatboxing music. Even though it was “love at first sound” and he already wanted to learn the art of production of drum and percussion sounds with his mouth it was not easy. Finally in the summer of 1999 he met people who were able to help him. Hereby it proved that explaining the different techniques with words was nearly impossible. Therefore Art began to listen and to observe the beatboxers how they created the different kind of drum and percussion sounds with their mouth in order to also create similar sounds. Even though at the beginning everything sounded the same he tirelessly tried to create the most different kinds of sound with his mouth. With the time going past slowly some sounds were starting to sound different. After this he started to copy sounds from other beatboxers. Time after time he utilized the learned beatbox techniques to compose his own songs. The first public performance occurred in the middle of the year 2000 in Berlin. Since then “Art of Beatbox” has shown his talent at countless performances for example at live-show of “Top 815” from “Radio Hamburg” in the year of 2004 or as support for artists like “[a66152]”, “[a106719]”, “[a24211]” and “[a54619]”. Art was also present on some sound recording media, he committed himself to many beatbox events like “The German Beatbox Battle” as a member of the judges’ panel and arranges regularly workshops for beatboxing. With his dedication to beatboxing he wants to make it more public and to commit himself to the perception of this music style. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ground Cinnamon Band | Ground Cinnamon Band draws inspiration from the sounds of Laurel Canyon's psychedelic folk era. Influenced by iconic acts of the '60s and '70s such as Buffalo Springfield, The Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas, and The Millennium, the trio - Erik Bus (12-string guitar and vocals), Carlijn Bus (vocals), and Jan Kappé (bass, guitar, and vocals) - crafts a mesmerizing blend of harmonies and rich instrumentation. Erik and Jan, both former members of The Small Breed, found new musical direction after their previous band's end. Joined by Erik's wife Carlijn, they formed Ground Cinnamon Band, adding more folk and country elements to their music. Like their inspirations, they focus heavily on the vocal harmonies. Their music is characterized by harmonized vocals from all three members, supported by instruments such as the acoustic 12-string guitar, pedal steel, vibraphone, bass harmonica, and mellotron | |

Their one-off album 'Decadence' was recorded in Paris, and was initially planned as the second album of HR3, with participation of Hansford's old compatriots from France, François Causse and Benoît Moerlen. This near re-iteration of the Pierre Moerlen's Gong rhythm section (Hansford, François and Benoît) finally resulted in this new band christened after the title of the album [m27835] in which they all played together for the first time in 1977. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Plasma2097 | Born in the 80s, raised in the 90s, and defined by the 2000s, PLASMA2097 emerged during the crossover from analog to digital. The name consists of two parts: “PLASMA” represents the ingenuity behind futuristic achievements in science and the love for science fiction TV shows and movies like Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stargate, Alien, and Back to the Future. “2097” symbolizes a homage to the PlayStation game WipE’Out’’2097, a key influence in his teen years that intensified his musical identity and connection to 90s sound. PLASMA2097’s first steps in music began at the age of 12, experimenting with DJing on a two-cassette-deck ghetto blaster. By the late 90s, he had progressed to spinning vinyl as an old-school bedroom DJ straight from his childhood room. By the time he was 18, technological advancements allowed him to record a small collection of stomping techno and trance tracks. Over time, his BPM count and musical style shifted, varied, and evolved into something he calls his own. When discussing musical influences, it's best to stick to genres, as naming all inspirations could turn this biography into a full-scale name-dropping apocalypse spanning from the late 90s to today. His influences stretch across genres such as Techno, Trance, Electro, House, Minimal, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Each track reflects his experimental approach, with a subtle pull toward mainstream appeal, all while staying true to his artistic individuality, where nostalgic beats meet futuristic soundscapes. Whether it’s the groove of a four-to-the-floor beat or the pulse of a spaced-out synth, every track he creates is an experiment designed to make both heart and mind move. At the core of PLASMA2097’s music is the desire to capture his emotions, momentary sensations, and current events through sound. His tracks often tend to tell stories, reflecting his environment and interests. Influenced by everything from the expansive atmospheres of sci-fi worlds, technology, utopian dreams, or dystopian realities, his music is never just sound — it’s an immersive experience. His creative process is shaped by a love for a broad spectrum of genres, including Hip-Hop and R&B, although these influences rarely make it into the final product. For PLASMA2097, music is a hobby and a creative outlet, with the ultimate goal of striving for “immortality” through his releases, leaving a lasting digital footprint — because, let’s be honest, the internet never forgets. A strong connection to graphic design also fuels his creative vision, blending the visual and auditory into a cohesive artistic output. While he doesn't perform live, PLASMA2097 occasionally streams short jam sessions on Twitch, offering a raw glimpse into his creative process. In these moments, his love for sonic experimentation shines through, revealing that for him, music is less about following strict rules or formulas and more about exploration. For him, the greatest reward is being heard and giving someone a good time. | |
