Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Bruno Bischofberger has been running an eponymous independent gallery in Zurich for over sixty years, best known for his close association with [a=Andy Warhol] and [a=Jean-Michel Basquiat] and for championing numerous other notable American and European conceptualists, minimalists, neo-expressionists and pop artists. He resides in a house on Lake Zurich designed by renowned Italian architect [a=Ettore Sottsass] (1917—2007). Bischofberger studied art history, archaeology and ethnography at the University of Zurich, continuing his education at the Universities of Bonn and Munich. In 1963, Bruno launched his gallery on Pelikanstrasse, called initially "city-galerie." In 1965, Bischofberger hosted the gallery's debut Pop Art exhibition, featuring [a=Roy Lichtenstein], [a=Robert Rauschenberg], [a=Tom Wesselmann], [a=Claes Oldenburg] and [a=Jasper Johns], among others. Bruno met [a=Andy Warhol] in New York City in 1966, soon befriending him. Two years later, Warhol allowed Bischofberger to pick several early unpublished works; subsequently, he granted Bruno exclusive "first refusal" rights on all future artworks, lasting until Andy's death in 1987. Bruno Bischofberger continued showcasing exported contemporary art throughout the 1970s, expanding to minimalism, conceptualism and Land Art and featuring [a=Sol Lewitt], [a=Donald Judd], [a=Dan Flavin], [a=Bruce Nauman], [a=Joseph Kosuth] and [a=On Kawara]. He also became a representative of several Nouveau Réalisme artists, including [a=Yves Klein], [a=Daniel Spoerri] and [a=Jean Tinguely]. In 1981, Bruno Bischofberger visited a New York/New Wave exhibition curated by [a=Diego Cortez] at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in Long Island City, Queens. The large-scale group show featured over 100 artists, including [a=David Byrne], [a=William S. Burroughs], [a=Robert Mapplethorpe], [a=Keith Haring], [a=Fab 5 Freddy], [a=Futura 2000], and [a=Ann Magnuson], to name just a few. Most importantly, Bischofberger first saw [a=Jean-Michel Basquiat]'s works there. By 1982, Bruno became his primary international dealer, representing Basquiat for the rest of his life. Bruno continued to explore and promote other Neo-Expressionist artists in the 1980s, including [a=Miquel Barceló], [a=George Condo], [a=Francesco Clemente (2)], [a=Enzo Cucchi], [a=Tom Dokoupil], [a=David Salle] and [a=Julian Schnabel]. In 2013, Galerie Bruno Bischofberger relocated to a new building on the renovated factory in Männedorf, Zurich. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Shamalamamonkey | Very little is known about the band at this time. Witness accounts say the band consists of between 1 and 13 people of European, Asian, and/or Arabic descent. They are said to possess an arsenal of instruments ranging from electric guitars to an old kitchen sink. Their impromptu performances range from 30 seconds to 13 hours and are performed with various disguises and under alternate band names. These shows are rarely announced, often in remote areas, and occasionally even without an audience. No one knows why. | |

About the word {nhocuné} This is related to how slaves adapt the imposed unmusical and not melodic colonial language to the current spoken language in Brazil. The richest man in the district to impose respect usually bought the colonel title in the colony Brazil and so the colonel was only another lost colonialist, the owner of the slave quarters and the estates that gave birth to a district in São Paulo known nowadays as “Vila Nhocuné”. {“sinhô coroné” as a respect form for “Senhor Coronél” = Mr. Colonel. The short form for senhor is sinhô / a shorter form is Nhô. The short form for coronél is coroné / a shorter form is cuné.} Putting it all together: Nhocuné Soul | |

Born and raised in Detroit, he brings a unique flavor to the Midwestern hip-hop scene, blending elements of gangsta rap with his own distinctive style. His tracks have a raw energy that really resonates. You can feel the emotion in his lyrics, and he seems to have a way of capturing the struggles and triumphs of everyday life. It’s clear that he's been influenced by his surroundings, and his storytelling is relatable and engaging. The production quality on his songs is also noteworthy for an up-and-coming artist. Everything feels polished while still maintaining that authentic vibe that so many hip-hop fans appreciate.
