These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

TPMP is an electronic music arranger, mixer, mastering engineer and Eurorack modular designer. He is living in Chengdu a new upcoming Techno city in China. He was early on into electronic music and his production style is greatly influenced by BT, The Future Sound of London and Enigma. Later on, his style gradually turned to TECHNO (style wise he was influenced by Echospace, Basic channel, and Maurizio obviously). He implemented these various styles into TECHNO to form his own experimental style. Integrating EPIC, Ambient, Glitch into the core of TECHNO has always been his main focus. After trying a lot of modular music production methods, in order to achieve its own unique TECHNO experimental style, he began in 2016 to independently develop its own eurorack modular, accumulated a lot of understanding of the relationship between live set and modular world. He undertook is first small part at the age of 14 in Robert und Bertram (play with incidental music by Gustav Raeder) as "Schildwache" at the Herforder Stadttheater. In 1898, Vogelstrom joined a male quartet "Sänger von Finsterwalde". When performing with the group, he was heard by the director of the Hamburg opera who proposed him a contract. However, Vogelstrom was drafted at that time and instead of going to Hamburg, he went to Hannover. Vogelstrom had an accident and was released from service. He joined another quartet "Rheinisches Männerquartett" in Mannheim. The director of the Mannheim opera, August Bassermann, heard him and asked him to audition. His audition was on November 23rd, 1903 and as a result, he got a five year contract. His first parts in Mannheim were Max, Tamino, Alessandro Stradella and the Seaman (Tristan und Isolde).The number one heldentenor of the Mannheim Opera Friedrich Carlén died, and that was Vogelstrom's big break. He added Lohengrin, Stolzing, Siegfried, Tristan to his repertory. For his last performance in Mannhein, Vogelstrom choosed Pedro. In 1912, Vogelstrom went on to Dresden. He was warmly welcomed in Dresden because their three heldentenors Burian, von Bary and Sembach where not able to sing for different reasons. He made his debut in Dresden as Max. There, Vogelstrom added Bacchus, Hans Kraft (Bärenhäuter), Kaiser, Gomella (Sonnenflammen) and a part in Hand und Herz to his repertory. He also added Tannhäuser, Parsifal, Canio and Turiddu (on the same evening, where he received 42 curtain calls), Herodes, Rienzi,..etc. Vogelstrom made many guest appearances, for example: 1908, he was in Dresden for the first time, before becoming a member of the troupe, replacing Burian in Tiefland, followed by Carmen and La bohème. 1909, Vogelstrom made his debut in Bayreuth as Froh on July 25th. He was supposed to sing Lohengrin, but intrigues behind the scene, by the wife of Bary, made sure he did not appear. However, Vogelstrom appeared as Parsifal on July 31st and August 8th. The same year, he also sang in Vienna. 1910 Berlin (Stolzing), 1911 Nürnberg (Stolzing), München (Stolzing), Essen (Lohengrin) 1912 Essen 1913 Hannover (Lohengrin), Bielefeld (Lohengrin), Nürnberg (Siegfried) 1922 Zoppot (Siegfried) Vogelstrom continued to sing in Dresden until 1928. He died on December 25th, 1963 in Köthen, after having lost all his properties in the bombing of Dresden where he lived during the war. Vogelstrom recorded for Gramophon, Odeon, Pathé, Vox, Homocord and Parlophon: a total of 125 sides. | |

Poster and drummer Brad Swiniarski had met playing shows together in previous bands (Poster in Grafton, Swiniarski in Bob City, the Means, Bigfoot) but had never worked together in a writing/recording environment. The result was a collection of covers (Dark as a Dungeon) and originals (Loveridge is Burning) that captured a modern yet decidedly time-arrested feel, like an old photograph that somehow hasn't faded or yellowed. As sometimes happens with projects like these, once the sessions were finished the completed work was delivered to its intended audience of one, and shelved for later. Eight years later, as it turns out. As the conversations turned into practices, more pieces were added to the group: Marc Spurgeon, Craig Davidson, Josh “Roscoe” Draher, and Regan Tonti. More ideas were invited in, and the sounds grew to include multi-part harmonies and layered guitars. Over the years, inevitable lineup changes have taken place—in 2016 bass was picked up by Eric Johnson, while slide and rhythm guitar duties were taken over by Brett Burleson. | |

Para este hombre que tuvo la visión de sembrar música en el estado Falcón, la disciplina, dedicación, responsabilidad y humildad son las condiciones que requiere un músico para sobresalir entre un importante número de jóvenes. Nació el 16 de agosto de 1934 en Papasidero, provincia de Cosenza, pueblo ubicado al sur de Italia. Desde pequeño sintió inclinación por la música, ya que su padre y su padrino fueron músicos en el pequeño pueblo donde residían, consiguiendo el apoyo de ambos al punto que solía esporádicamente sustituir a su padre en la Iglesia y armonizar los oficios religiosos durante la misa. Por su espíritu aventurero llegó a Venezuela el 5 de mayo del año 1.955, y en virtud de no dominar el idioma castellano lo envían al Colegio Don Bosco de Valencia. Luego fue transferido al Colegio Salesiano Pío XII, en la Ciudad de Coro, donde para orgullo de los corianos y falconianos en general renace el 25 de Junio del año 1.955 con el nombre en criollo de José Roque Maiolino Conte. Por espacio de tres años estuvo a cargo de la librería salesiana del respectivo colegio, luego en el año 1.958, ingresa a la Banda del Estado Falcón ejecutando el Bombo. Simultáneamente armonizaba las misas diarias y otros oficios religiosos en las Iglesias de la Vela de Coro, la Catedral y San Francisco en la Ciudad de Coro. Las múltiples ocupaciones como maestro de capilla y el de pertenecer a la Banda del Estado, lo condujo a la renuncia al trabajo que venia desempeñando en el colegio Pío XII. Recibe su Carta de Nacionalidad el día 16 de diciembre de 1.960, y realiza la equivalencia de su título de bachiller en el Liceo Nocturno Cecilio Acosta, donde obtuvo el grado de Bachiller en Humanidades, en julio de 1.963. En el año 1.960 al 1.963, comienza los cursos de mejoramiento profesional para la implantación de los nuevos programas de educación musical auspiciados por el Ministerio de Educación y dictados por los maestros Antonio Estévez, Flor Roffe de Estévez, Hilda Cuttolo, Isabel Aretz, Álvaro Fernaud, Salvador Toro Moya y Francisco de Antonio. El trabajo de Dirección Coral con el maestro Antonio Estévez e Hilda Cuttolo, marcó para siempre la influencia en su inclinación por esa área musical. Realiza estudios de Educación en la Escuela Normal José Mercedes Santeliz de Coro, allí fundó una agrupación Coral que dio pie y lo inspiró, conjuntamente con algunos compañeros del Liceo Cecilio Acosta nocturno, a la conformación de un Grupo Polifónico fuera del área estudiantil, cuya idea contó con el apoyo incondicional del Ateneo de Coro, presidido para ese entonces por el periodista Ildemaro Alguindigue. Así surgió la Coral Falcón un 1 de Octubre de 1.963. El 18 de junio de 1978, el maestro Giuseppe Maiolino Conte, ya arraigado en estas tierras calientes y poseedor de un espíritu incansable, funda el Núcleo Falcón como parte del Sistema Nacional de Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela, creado por el maestro José Antonio Abreu, músico venezolano, sembrador de ilusiones y constructor de sueños. El maestro Maiolino logró crear con tenacidad, visión de futuro y gran sensibilidad el Sistema Orquestal en el estado Falcón. Su contribución es excepcional, fundamentalmente como director de orquesta y coros, educador, promotor y organizador de instituciones culturales. Por sus incontables méritos y reconocimientos en pro de la Cultura, el Ejecutivo Regional del estado Falcón, creó la Condecoración “José Maiolino Conte”, la cual fue entregada por primera vez el 01 de Octubre de 2010, dentro del marco aniversario de los 47 años de la Coral Falcón. Ha recibido más de 50 placas y 38 diplomas de reconocimientos de diferentes instituciones, entes gubernamentales y de distintas personalidades a nivel regional y nacional. Para el maestro Maiolino Conte no han existido límites que le hayan impedido hacer realidad los retos que se ha propuesto. Following the state win in a song contest hosted by Swedish radio in 2013, his entry song ”153 More Days” got a fair share of airtime and the growing of a fan base slowly started. In 2015 came his debut release, the live-feel EP ”Dirt”, which was well received and served as a stepping stone for landing opening gigs for acts such as Drew Holcomb, Uncle Lucius and The Thousand Dollar Playboys. Ekengren’s debut album ”Monsters” (2018) is a gracefully arranged and well produced collection of songs that certainly brings more to mind than a middle-aged engineer from a small town in the north of Sweden. Blurring the lines between pop, rock and alt-country, ”Monsters” showcases Ekengren’s acute sense for an infectious melody, his powerful lyrical imagery, and – much thanks to his vocals – a persistent energy that this genre of music is not spoiled with. Reflecting on ”Monsters”, Ekengren says: ”It has taken my entire life to write this album – both literally and figuratively. He delivered a very confusing pitch at the offices of Music Connection Magazine to gain publicity for this album. Fabbri's last known recording was God Bless New York, a song he debuted on a 30 minute special called The Tony Fabbri Show. Fabbri passed away on Jul. 14, 2009. |
